Inhabiting America’s Agenda

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, in yesterday’s article, I showed you how the “Made in America” Week masks an aligned (preK to adult) workforce education agenda. In today’s follow-up, I’ll show you how, that very same agenda will impact your very housing and real estate markets.

While I can definitely prove this, here in NC, and almost literally, in my back yard, I’ll do what I can to show you where this type of activity is also cropping up across the nation.

sadhouse
First Up, NC’s “Inclusionary Zone”:

Warriors, in NC, there are 3 types of  ‘inclusionary zones’. The first type is the largest and is meant for those city or county government employees (including first year teachers). These are general inclusionary zones. Then, there are voluntary zones. These encourage workforce housing development and give incentives to the builders. Lastly, the third type is conditional inclusionary zoning. These pull in the voluntary zone parameters and incorporate some sort of comprehensive (future growth) city/county or State plan.
(*Note: the embedded link will take you to a Univ. of NC Primer and bring up issues connecting teachers and education to this type of housing.)

Then, There’s The City’s Inclusionary Zone:

inclusionzone

You’re seeing correctly Warriors. The very town I live in has a new inclusion zone. It’s supposed to be a great thing for the local economy, especially if your are a landlord. Here’s the article link.

Below, is a map I made for you to illustrate how close the workforce based education site is to the proposed workforce housing complex.

This Plan, is evidence that proves Ivanka’s visit to promote workforce education in Mooresville (2018) wasn’t a fluke.
On Page 199, of the One Mooresville, you’ll see the workforce housing zoning plans were approved in 2016.
(Mooresville is a ‘choice’ location for one of her father’s golf courses)

talbertroad

Other notes about the Plan are that sprinkled throughout its pages are other types of ‘sustainable’ living and working. Schools are a kingpin in this Plan as well. After all, I’ve shown you in the past how Mooresville’s playing right into the CCSS Machine’s plans. (Ex: President Obama chose here for his digital shift in education, which lives on in 2019 under President Trump.)

Then, there’s attracting and keeping talented workforce citizens; increasing P3s (public private partnerships); reducing vehicle use; increase digital dependence; transforming existing neighborhoods into cookie cutter ‘racked and stacked’ mini communities; directing city growth via ‘community services’ (one of which is to connect mental health to nature and green spaces) and schools (separate and unified); seeing an increase in charter and private schools; renovating existing public schools and building new ones, and continue to regionalize education. (see below, from Page 35):

Inclusionary Zones In America:

From 2018, I found a good article that puts IZs (inclusionary zones) in easy to understand terms. Be sure you read the “How It Works” section. Below is a screen shot from the article:

citylab
From the Inclusionary House website, here’s a screen shot of what you need to know that connects to the CCSS Machine:

IZhouse

According to a 2016 blog post from the World Bank, housing is the center point to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). As we know, Warriors, the World Bank is heavily invested in America, is a member of the CCSS Machine, and, is a chief supporter of the UN’s SDGs. Below is a screen shot from the blog post:

IZWB

Warriors, you may be asking how this all connects back to the workforce housing apartments going up in Mooresville, NC? To answer that, I’ve provided you (below) with Page 169 from the One Mooresville Plan. (see the embedded link, earlier in this article)

mvilleresilient

While Mooresville is NOT Charlotte, it is close enough that what Charlotte does very much impacts what Mooresville does. By 2030. this entire area is to see a population growth of 47%. Our roads connect us, our data connects us, our educational demise connects us, so really, Warriors, it won’t be long before Mooresville becomes an annex of Charlotte’s city limits. This infograph will also show the expected job (skill based workforce included) growth will be for the entire Charlotte area.

One Last Point:

Warriors, if you still are seeing how IZs (Inclusionary Zones) fit the CCSS Machine, this 2015 article should help.

Supposedly, by creating IZs in your town, you’ll level the playing field when it comes to education. ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) devoted much language, programs, and, funds (aka: mandates) to doing just that: leveling the educational opportunities. This is where ‘school choice’ enters in. This concept of choice is great. What parent doesn’t want to choose the best school for Johnny and Suzy.

Yet, the reality of this is impossible. Thanks to ESSA. The funds attached to school choice (Ed Savings Accounts, education scholarships, vouchers, etc.) are nothing more than a data tracking device attached to your child and your family. It will track them from education to the workforce. Not only have I devoted much research and time to this stark truth, but Anita Hoge has as well. Her latest article even goes much deeper than my work, in showing you how school choice will destroy local government. (*Note: be sure to scroll down and read THE Charlotte Iserbyt comment.)

Closing:

Contact your Congress men and women and demand a “NO” vote to S 634. It’s a $5 billion dollar school choice/ed savings accounts disaster sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz. So far, it’s only been introduced in the Senate.
DeVos is touring the US promoting this and was just in NC yesterday meeting with educrats in Raleigh. The tour is centered on freedom. The reality is these funding strings bring confinement and conformity, not freedom. These funds earmark us for workforce fodder to be fed to the CCSS Machine.

ESSAskel

We don’t need, or want, community/education-workforce housing. We don’t want or need federal education. It’s unconstitutional AND illegal. We don’t want or need our tax dollars used against ourselves OR our children.

Oh, Geez…

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, it’s “From the Files” Tuesday. So, what does that mean? It means that what our topic of the day is, there will be documents shared which you’ll want to hang on to.

Warriors, you may be wondering why I used ‘geez’ in the title today. That’s a good question. I’ll be going over the most “G” meetings and preview a big one coming up in August 2019. What IS a “G” meeting? If you’ve heard of the G7 or G8, maybe the G20; that’s what I’m referring to. The “G” stands for ‘Group’. So, G7 is “Group of 7”. You can guess the others from there.

So, what do the G7, G8, and G20 have in store for education in the US? Let’s go to the files!

ogeez

(G8 source)
(G20 source)
(ILO source)

G7, Group of 7:

Warriors, the next G7 meeting is set for August 2019. According the their ‘about us’ information, the G7 is not a formal group with a charter or secretariat, like the UN (United Nations). However, they do have presidents and sherpas leading their meetings and advising all policies.

From what I can gather, the G7 exists to put into action what the G20 (as the global economic driver) plans out.

The last G7 meeting was June 2018 and was held in Canada. Where did ‘education’ surface? Gender equality and the workforce. (At least according to the EU’s Report, linked above.)

If you’d like to listen to the Internet Society’s take on the last G7 meeting, that’s here. They were/are all ‘about’ technology (data collection). If you’d like to read the 2016 article on the Internet Society’s adoption of the SDGs and what it means for the entire world and internet access, go here.

As far as the 2019 G7 meeting, here’s a preview from the IISD (International Institute for the Sustainable Development Goals). France holds the current Presidency.

From the Global Governance Project, this preview of France will be pushing at the August 2019 meeting:

What US official will be attending the 2019 G7 meeting? We don’t know yet. But, someone, or, several leaders will. Why? To continue America’s commitment to being a global giant.

The G8, Group of 8:

Warriors, what difference does Russia joining the existing G7 countries mean? What does it mean for education? (*Note: the admission of Russia into this Group, has been off and on again, for years. However, economic influenced decisions impact everyone in the world, member country or not.

In fact, the Russians just hosted an international economic meeting earlier this month for SPIEF, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (June 2019). Among SPIEF partners, are the US/Russia Business Council, Germany, France, and Japan. Pretty much most of the G7 nations.) In all, over 500 Americans attended this Forum. There were many from the G20 in attendance, as well. (*Note: there are links to more SPIEF files below.)

(Source, added emphasis is mine)

Basically Warriors, the G8 is the coming together of the world’s top economic countries. This BBC link does a great job of explaining how the G8 differs from the G7. (*Note: the embedded video will not work, due to the fact it’s unavailable in the US.)

Warriors, let’s remember that economics are what is the driving force of the modern education shift from academics to workforce.

If you’d like to read this archived report of just HOW the power of the G8 has been used in both economics AND constitutionality, go here. (*Note: be sure to use the translation option.)

From what I can find, the sole purpose of the G8 is to breed global conformity on the top issues. Those issues appear to be right in step with the UN and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), too.

Warriors, would you believe the religious leaders from across the globe are in support of the G8/G20? I found this YouTube video from the CCSS Machine member university (Georgetown Univ.) where you can hear directly from some religious leaders. If you’d like a full list of participants and churches/faiths represented, go here.

The G20’s Upcoming Meeting:

Warriors, as you know, I covered the 2018 G20 meetings before mainstream media. In those articles, I told you Japan would be hosting the 2019 Meetings. It’s set for late June 2019 (the 28th and 29th). What can we expect during those 2 days? (*Note: several G20 related meetings have either already been completed or will be by December 2019. Look in the “Related Resources” for more information.)

The ILO, International Labor Organization:

Warriors, if you’d like to see what else the oldest arm of the UN’s up to, visit the ILO website.

2) The SPIEF’s commitment to the SDGs.

3) SPIEF’s attendees heard about ‘social guarantees’ as provided by society. They also were ‘treated’ to the rhetoric of ‘next generation’ business leaders. With the way social justice and workforce based economics is going, these will play into America sooner than later. Especially with all our connections to the G7, G8, G20, ILO, and a host of other globally minded CCSS Machine members.

4) The complete list of G20 meetings (Labor’s is in Sept. 2019 and will absolutely involved education), go here.

9) If you’d like to keep up with all the global conferences and meetings which impact us, as Americans, without all the mainstream media misinformation, this is a handy link to have. Why is a ‘business’ calendar helpful for education news? As we know, education has been turned into a business, thanks to the CCSS Machine!

“The Prudence Files, Part Two”

Welcome back, Anti Fed Ed Warriors, it’s Part Two of my look at the 2020 Presidential race. In Part One, you not only got a feel for how I am putting the series together, but a close up look at the Senators running for the Oval Office.  Today, the close up is on  Representatives (and former DC leaders)??

pru1

As you saw in Part One, there are 20 candidates who have announced their candidacy and at least 13 others considering running. In both groups, you have current and former public servants and private citizens.
Below is the screen shot from Part One for the federal public servants. Note the Representatives for today’s article.

***Please note: Rep. John Delaney left his office  after the 2018 mid term elections.***

Rep. Ryan has 20 current education bills (or related) and one House Resolution which relates.

ryanbills
Reps. Moulton, Swalwell, and Gabbard share co-sponsorship of HR 1, 5, 6, and 1784. They also voted ‘yes’ to HR 1’s final House vote. Rep. Amash voted ‘no’ to HR 1.
Reps. Moulton and Swalwell share co-sponsorship of HR 51 and HR 865.
Reps. Gabbard and Moulton share co-sponsorship of HR 728.
Reps. Gabbard and Swalwell share co-sponsorship of HR 1384.
Rep. Swalwell shares co-sponsorship of HR 1733. Rep. Moulton is the sponsor of HR 1733.
Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 1109 and HR 1170.
**Note: HR 1 also embeds the automatic protection of the U.S. Dept. of Education (and other agencies) in the event of a disaster (natural or man-made).

Rep. Moulton currently has 8 education related bills. (*Note: from his Congressional page, his education stance.)

Rep. Swalwell shares co-sponsorship of HR 590.
Reps. Ryan and Gabbard share co-sponsorship of HR 873.
Rep. Ryan shares co-sponsorship of HR 1058.
Rep. Gabbard shares co-sponsorship of HR 1943. Rep. Gabbard is also the sponsor of HR 1587.

Rep. Gabbard has 7 Education related bills. Her education stance was featured in Part One.

gabills
Reps. Moulton, Swalwell, and, Ryan share co-sponsorship of HR 860.
Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 674.

Rep. Swalwell has 6 education related bills. His education/workforce stance can be found here.

swabills

Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 9 and HR 1368.

Rep. Amash has 2 education related bills. Warriors, as I pointed out in Part One, while voting ‘no’ to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was a good thing, it appears that’s been cast aside. Why would I say that? Look above, do you see the support for school vouchers?
School vouchers are a big part of, not only ESSA, but current federal budgets! From BallotOPedia, you can see he previously voted ‘yes’ to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That Act has been kept in place. So how does it connect to education? Creating more P3s (Public Private Partnerships) in education, at all ages!

The first bill Rep. Amash has co-sponsored is HR 899, it’s the one bill which would shut down the U.S. Dept. of Education by Dec. 31, 2020. While I do agree the U.S. Dept. of Education should be shut down, it is absolutely NOT prudent to shut it down without REPEALING ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), first.

Something the Bill’s sponsor and co-sponsors didn’t attach to the bill. I’ve written previously about the ‘unintended consequences’ which would happen should this Bill become law. With the direction education is headed in, as well as the upcoming election, we don’t need to throw wisdom out the window. (*Note: the embedded article above features the 115th version of HR 899. The 116th version is the same except the termination date.)

The Second bill is HR  1910, which would end the Import/Export Bank. While that’s a good thing (for education), It’s doubtful this bill will pass.

*****************************************************
Former federal politicians running for President (or considering it)

1) Former Rep. John Delaney:

Warriors, as I shared above, Mr. Delaney left Congress to pursue the 2020 Campaign, full time. Here’s his website:

To see his education stance (and it’s pretty awful), go here. As a ‘bonus’ you’ll even see he mentions some of his work in education while he was in the House. Let’s not forget, he did vote “yes” to ESSA.

2) Former Rep., Beto O’Rourke:
Warriors, I know there’s been lots of questions about Beto’s stance on charters. I can tell you that Reuters has recently published his past support for them could be trouble. However, as an Anti Fed Ed Warrior, you need to know the non-profit his wife heads (which ‘improves education’) is a partner with the Gates Foundation.
As far as the official O’Rourke for President campaign website, his education stance is pretty scary. Strengthening education unions will only breed more globalism!

(Source)

3) Former VP, Joe Biden:

Warriors, if you’ve followed my blog for a while, you will know I’ve already connected Mr. Biden (while he was the Vice President) to the CCSS Machine. Times haven’t changed at all.

To see the Biden Foundation information on education, go here. To see my articles on Biden, go here.

According to The Hill, if Biden does run in 2020, he’ll be the guy to beat.

4) Former Senator/Former Sec. Of State, John Kerry:

Warriors, if you missed the Kerry/Bush debate on education, I’ve got it right here! Kerry was in full support of nationalized standards. That was while Kerry was a Senator.

As the Secretary of State (State Dept., which is very much in the CCSS Machine/UN back pocket), Kerry’s getting us in the Paris Agreement (which has influenced education via climate change, even in 2019) was counted as one of his greatest accomplishments.

(Sources for the information seen above)

The CCSS Machine’s money (as seen in Part One). Regardless of the Senate, the House, or former public service, the campaign dollars show us quite a bit.

Warriors, use your prudence when looking at the other issues your candidate stands for. As we’ve seen from the Senators, the Representatives, the Vice President, and the Secretary, education connects to everything else.

Closing:

Warriors, in Part Three, I’ll be reviewing the Trump/Pence team’s actions in education. In Part Four, I’ll be exposing the State level politicians running for the Oval Office.
Part Five, will conclude the series with private citizens running, as well as, other election information.
Be watchful my followers, we’ve got much to do in the coming days.
**This just in, Rep. Swalwell was reported in Part One as considering to run, he has since confirmed it.

Blinded Leaders

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, if I’ve shared it once, I’ve shared it repeatedly; Rep. Virginia Foxx is a sellout. Her view of education is no secret. She’s traveling the D.C. area with her skewed preaching about how great CTE (Career Tech Education) is. Problem is CTE IS Common Core, or as it’s been re-branded, College/Career Readiness (CCR).

foxxed
While Rep. Foxx does ‘represent’ the citizens of NC (in name only), her power as Chair of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Ed/Workforce Committee means her influence is nation-wide.

If you’ve missed her more recent CCSS/CTE (Common Core State Standards/Career Tech Education) appearances touting what a ‘savior’ the PROSPER Act will be for America, or how closing the ‘skills gap’ is everyone’s business, I urge you to listen.

foxxmay16

(*Note:1) if you click on the ‘closing’ link, you can access her brief statement from Twitter.  2)  PROSPER is the House’s version of an updated Higher Education Act (HEA). HEA’s re-authorization will complete the birth to death workforce based education system the CCSS Machine has set out to create. 3) Be sure to listen for Foxx’s bold statement that all education is career education so therefore all education is workforce development.)

This screen shot (below) is from her opening statement during a recent hearing in D.C.:

foxxmay
Warriors, Rep. Foxx is hardly alone in the selling out of education to workforce in D.C.

workforcenochoice

As we’ve seen from Congress many times over, when it comes to education, they’re ALL blinded by the CCSS Machine! Consider Foxx’s ‘blinded’ partner over in the Senate, Sen. Lamar Alexander. He leads the U.S. Senate’s HELP (Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions Committee).
His power in D.C. is ‘legendary’ in how quickly he’s thrown our children under the CCSS Machine’s wheels. The HELP’s most recent action? It was sharing that a new amendment for the existing HEA has been introduced. S 2984 was introduced, read twice and referred to the HELP committee 5/24/18.

cardinhea

(Sen. Cardin’s a big sellout to STEM and College Promise programs.)

That Foxx and Alexander are in such high places of leadership should be cause for every single one of us to watch both the Committees (Ed/Workforce and HELP).
********************************************************

Purse strings

Warriors, look also at every single member of these 2 Committees. Where are they in the CCSS Machine’s pecking order? How sold out to CTE are they? What about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)? We mustn’t forget that the ‘Fed Ed’ overreach is in EVERY level of education, so what about the early college programs? The internships or apprenticeships? The rehabilitated education/work programs? What about allowing MORE Private companies and corporations into the education reform?
May 9th’s hearing from the Ed/Workforce Committee did just that!

(*Note: you can also watch the hearing. It’s just over 2 hours.)

We also should keep in mind that education is NOT the only avenue the CCSS Machine will ‘drive’ down. There’s Labor, Health/Human Services, Agriculture, Commerce, Justice, and more! Blindness is rampant in D.C.!

If You Missed Mrs. DeVos:

Warriors, if you missed U.S. Secretary of Education’s DeVos and her ‘testimony’ before the Ed/Workforce Committee last week, you missed a great opportunity to see a CCSS/CTE Machine dog and pony show. Here’s the video, but be warned it’s over 4 hours long according to the You Tube description.

foxxdevos

Below are a few of DeVos’s excerpts from her prepared testimony.

“I must begin by commending you, Dr. Foxx, for your leadership on moving to
reauthorize and reform the Higher Education Act (HEA) through the PROSPER Act.
This is an issue where we share great passion to help American education catch up to the
needs of today’s – and tomorrow’s – students. Unfortunately, in too many ways, the
outdated HEA is holding our students – and by extension, our nation – back. The
Administration is pleased the bill aligns with many of its own goals for HEA
reauthorization. I look forward to working with each of the Members of this Committee,
the broader House of Representatives and the Senate to advance meaningful HEA reform, and I know the president looks forward to signing a bill into law.”

Under the paragraph “Progress Made”:
“In 2015, you wisely passed legislation – the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) – that
intends to do just that. ESSA’s overwhelming bipartisan message was clear: States and
local communities, not the Federal Government, must lead the way on improving
education for every student in America.”

From “FSA Next Gen’s” paragraph:
“Perhaps no effort has a greater potential to positively impact postsecondary students
directly than reforms being undertaken at Federal Student Aid (FSA). The Next
Generation Financial Services Environment will be the most significant improvement to administering student aid in two decades.

From the “Where We Are Going” section:
” We must make bold, fearless changes that allow all students to pursue an education that meets their unique needs. Students deserve learning environments that are agile, relevant, exciting. Every student deserves a customized, self-paced, and challenging life-long learning journey. That is why I challenge the Department and every teacher, school, parent, and leader in America to rethink school.”

Her possible solutions? Look below:

Warriors, talk about blinded leaders, are you kidding me, Secretary DeVos?!

A “New Approach”:

Never one to disappear from the news, Jeb Bush’s group (FEE, Foundation for Excellence in Education/aka Excel in Ed) and their partner (Education Elements) are blindly leading the whole CCR (College/Career Readiness) agenda from a ‘new angle’, get the parents to buy into the ‘skills gap needs closing’ fallacy.

As we know, CCR is a re-brand for CCSS. It also embeds CTE and STEM in education.

Closing:

Warriors, did you notice how the ties between Foxx/DeVos/Bush and the rest of the evidence presented all echo the same ideas? It is not by chance this has happened. As we know the plan (for well over 100 years) has been to assimilate America into a more global form. Education has long been the ‘best’ tool by which to do it.
Three Blind Mice Clip Art N4 image in Vector cliparts category at pixy.orgThe reform was never simply for K-12th grade students. It has always been about ‘cradle to grave’. The reality of HOW our lives will become IF we do not stop the CCSS Machine can be seen here. Notice, it’s a loop. Like a hamster’s wheel. Once on it, we won’t get off.
This is what the REAL meaning of ‘lifelong learning’ is, Warriors.

workedcycle
States are ensnared in the alignment of education and workforce.

Re-authorizing HEA via the PROSPER Act or the Senate’s HEIA (Higher Education Innovation Act) WILL complete the CCSS Machine loop. Will we stand by and allow this? Will we march forward and throw kinks into the CCSS Machine?

Warriors, will we continue to follow these blinded leaders?! Will we allow our kids to be subjected to this type of treatment? Will we prostrate ourselves to this system?  Will we let Congress continue to bully us into conformity?

monopolists

Warriors, it’s time WE lead with open eyes and steadfast purpose!

So, Where’s the Choice?

Warriors Against Fed Led Education, the image you see above was featured in one of my 2015 articles detailing the scam behind school choice. Since then, I’ve (along with others) have repeatedly sounded the call against ‘school choice’.

Why?

It wasn’t that we didn’t believe in the parents right to choose the education for their children. It was because we knew the CCSS Machine was erasing ALL choices in education but one: workforce geared, skill based Common Core (aka: College/Career Ready; Future Ready; Choice ReadyNext Gen Standards and Assessments; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) as well as many other names for deceptive purposes).

Warriors, ESSA(Every Student Succeeds Act) stated in no uncertain terms that ALL education MUST be aligned to the SAME Standards! No exceptions.
The CCSS Machine’s deception is trying to still convince America that ‘choices’ are available in education.

The truthful reality is, no, true choice died when President Obama signed ESSA into law.
(*Note: in late 2016 and late 2017, I published two articles continuing to spotlight the deception with ‘school choices. You’ll find 2016’s, here; 2017’s, here.)

Enter: Penguins!

nochoiceWarriors, what you see above is a screen shot of the cute penguins used by the National School Choice Week organization.

Since 2011, this group has been doing a ‘bang up’ job of deceiving folks. Wait, why would I say ‘since 2011’? ESSA wasn’t a law then. You’re correct, ESSA wasn’t a law yet, but Common Core had taken over education in every choice available by 2011.

My fellow Warrior, Alice Linahan, published a scathing report (2017) on who is really behind the National School Choice Week organization.

What’s New For 2018?

Warriors, the penguins will be dancing (that’s what they do in the GIF on social media) into our areas the 21st-27th of January. Believe it or not, there’s even a dance for people to celebrate school choice. Of course, you can purchase the song and video.

Yes, nothing says let’s deceive folks quite like a catchy tune and some pumped up (fake) enthusiasm.

choicedance
Warriors, these folks may be dancing now, but what will they be doing when they see ESSA fully implemented and NO choice in education is still around? Remember, the way the law is laid out, everything is to be fully in place for ESSA by now. However, all States were to have their State Plans submitted to the U.S. Secretary of Education no later than Sept. 2017. If you’ll remember, there were 2 submission dates. Seventeen States chose the earlier 2017 date, while the majority waited until September. The point is, it’s mid-January 2018. Each State which chose the latter date AND received an ‘interim feedback’ letter from Sec. DeVos, is under a 120 day time crunch. The federal level department has to react to each State plan within that time frame.

For example, where I live (North Carolina) received its ‘interim feedback’ letter on Dec. 13, 2017. For all the things which US Ed required, the State had a mere 2 weeks (with Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa right in the middle of it all) to re-submit its Plan. The letter was sent by Jason Botel, not Betsy DeVos. It appears that all the Fall 2017 States also received a Dec. 2017 letter with Botel’s name attached. Since there are 34 States, I only checked a few States which surround NC and saw the pattern.

The State Plans are being held up due to the fact the feds do not think the States are compliant enough. Remember how it was deceptive spoken that ESSA would give the educational control BACK to the States?

What’s interesting is that supposedly Botel was released by the US Ed before Dec. 2017, so why is his name used as the signature?

Warriors, with this much backlog and confusion, ESSA’s fullest version and implementation will be taking place in the 2018-19 academic year. All this means is a longer and stronger grip on ‘locally controlled’ education by the federal government..not LESS and certainly not full of choices.

Closing:

Warriors, back in January 2017, I wrote about the lessons we should be learning from the (then) current state of federally controlled education. In the midst of that article was the reality of the school choice belonging to the parents and their heartfelt desires. Go back and read how that lesson has been trampled upon since ESSA, since the presidential election, since DeVos, and since organizations like National School Choice Week have been in ‘charge’.

With this January (2018) “Choice Week” about to launch, there is plenty we can do to protest, to expose the fallacies, and to protect our children from this massive deception.

fallacy

Also, when January 2018’s ‘Choice Week’ rolls around, watch for the CCSS Machine to roll out the red carpet of deception. Note who’s helping roll that carpet out, too.

Working Over The “Old North State”

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, just a few days ago, I shared with you how ‘great’ NC’s updated school-wide report cards are. ICYMI, here it is.

Worth repeating, though, is this: A CTE (Career Tech Education) specific school in my county had ZERO textbooks (according to the NC Report Card website).

What does this have to do with workforce based education? Everything! Not only is NC (Old North State) getting ‘worked over’, every other State is too!

nc'works'
Warriors, the name chosen for one of the  NC (Old North State) Workforce Education based programs is “NCWorks”.

Look below and tell me, Warriors, how well this federal-to-state-to-your child’s education has workforce woven into it. This is meant for ALL school choices.

ancientscroll

It’s been said for years that the goal for ‘education’ isn’t being well educated, it’s being well-trained.
***************************************************
Not long after I began my blog (2014), I attended an meeting held on a local community college campus. The rhetoric spilling out of the elected officials and school employees was eye-opening, to say the least. It was all about workforce aligned schools. See this article. (You’ll even see the embedded You Tube video about national workforce credentials. As the business owner stated in the short film, ‘no certification; no job’.)

Programs like “NC Works” bring the workforce aligned schools to 100% fruition.

I also shared with you how the NCWorks program came to be in Sept. 2014.

An updated article about NCWorks in 2015 showed you how the Governor of NC ( Pat McCrory) had laid out a ‘smooze fest’ of CCSS Machine member groups and citizens to carry out his plan for education and workforce training to intersect.

Warriors, every Governor did likewise. It was due to the language of WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act). Governors were given more power. Using it to create aligned school-to-work systems was just the beginning.

In 2016, I gave you an update on NCWorks and how it was connected to a bond for statewide community colleges. The bond was a poorly disguised taxpayer disaster for generations to come. Thanks to the CCSS Machine, the bond was voted on and passed.
**************************************************************

Warriors, when the Education and Workforce Commission was started, it was housed in the Governor’s administrative branch. During the summer of 2107, the Commission was moved from the Governor’s office to the NC DPI (North Carolina Dept. of Public Instruction).  From what I can find, the new location is in the NC DPI’s CTE (Career and Technical Education Office)

The announcement I found about the move is from the Public Schools First NC website:

edworktransfer

If you are curious, the Public Schools First NC states its a group of nonpartisan citizens. However, “Mapping the Left” website shows the Public Schools First NC, has received some previous funding from The Reynolds Foundation.

Reynolds Foundation supports all kinds of community groups, social justice projects, and education. Among one of the red warning signs I found on Reynolds 2015 Grant page was to a non-profit called “DigiLearn”. DigiLearn was founded by former Governors (NC) Perdue and (WY) Geringer. (*Note: Perdue was in office when NC’s Race to the Top funds were awarded.)

DigiLearn’s Board has two well-known CCSS Machine members, one is NC legislator Craig Horn and the other is Tom VanderArk.

From a DigiLearn 2017 presentation, this screen shot:

If you’d like to see the Policy guide which goes with the DigiLearn presentation, look here. Note that by 2018, all NC school districts are to digitally ready.

If you’d like to see how the Reynolds Foundation is represented in the current NC Governor’s (Roy Cooper) appointed Education Commission, go here.
******************************************************

So, Why Share This Now?

Warriors, I share this now, as the NC DPI is wrapping up 2017, with sights set for 2018. Planned? A new workforce based learning program AND approach. It all appears to be housed in the NC DPI’s CTE Office, too. You’ll more than likely find this type of activity in your State.

newncwork
The ‘new’ program? “The Students@Work is a project of the North Carolina Business Committee for Education in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.Warriors, the new program won’t replace NCWorks. It compliments it!
********************************
Both NCWorks and CTE use Perkins funding. Perkins funding was not to be embedded in K-12th education when it first began. Perkins funds were for post-secondary educational institutions and programs. However, when the CCSS Machine began the shift from academics to workforce, Perkins funds found their way into the classroom. ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) even embeds CTE and Perkins funds.
*********************************

Where can you find the “Students@Work”?  I found it in the 2018-19 NC CTE Standards.
You can also watch a short YouTube video about the program. The Students@Work website is here. Members of the NC Business Committee for Education can be found here. Every business and/or school you see is tied to the CCSS Machine.

Warriors, “CTE Standards” are CCSS Standards! (More information)
You can also read about the recent 6 States (NC, AL, IA, IL, NV, and RI) involved in the CTE/STEM Workforce based Siemens Corporation education initiative.

CTE also marries Common Core to STEM.

The Siemens Initiative began back in 2015. According to the Siemens overview, it was to target ‘young adults’ (16-24 years). However, the NC workforce education plan (above) is to start in 6th grade or about 11 years old.  The Siemens Foundation partners are some heavy-hitting CCSS Machine member groups.

**I also am sharing this now to tie all of this to the fact that the HEA (Higher Education Act) is being re-written. It has been for a while now.

In these last remaining days for Congress (before the 2017 holiday recess), Rep. Foxx is the sponsor of HR 4508PROSPER Act.  It’s the House’s re-authorization of the HEA (Higher Education Act) .

Warriors, it combines CTE, STEM, CCSS, Workforce agenda, globalization, data mining,  and, cradle to grave data tracking.

PROSPERfodder
To access the PROSPER Bill, go here. The Politico 12/13/17 Morning Report stated that HR 4508 would shrink the U.S. Dept. of Education; shift some of Ed’s business to the U.S. Treasury, and more.

Warriors, remember, while these moves SOUND good, I’ve already shown you evidence of how DANGEROUS these actions will be to our schools!

Oh, and let’s not forget Sen. Lamar Alexander’s bragging about overhauling HEA. He’ll be a big mouthed liar once again in 2018 when it comes to education.
**************************************************

HEA (as I’ve said for at least 2 years) is the LAST link in the American education chain which will forever change schools from academic institutions to workforce training facilities…for all ages and educational choices!

As chair woman for the House’s Education and Workforce Committee, Foxx is featured in this article about how badly PROSPER’s agenda/alignment is needed. If you ever doubted Foxx’s view of ‘quality education’, look below:

foxxed
I’ve researched this ‘sold-out-to-the-CCSS-Machine-Representative’ several times. Her grasp of truly representing her citizens has been replaced by corporate lies.

**I also share all this now, because several federal level bills seek to create national data tracking in the name of education. HR 4174, S2046; the assault on Net Neutrality will also involve data and our right to privacy (this involves the FTC and FCC: both use taxpayer funds for data mining); the ‘data raping’ will continue via many more proposed bills.
Data is needed to pigeon hole students into workforce training aka ‘education’!

Data is the key, here, Warriors.  On one hand, we need to access HOW the data is being used against our children, as well as protect our civil right to freedom of privacy. On the other hand, as Americans, we know we must use the internet for all kinds of purposes. So, shouldn’t it be as open and free to use as possible?

If data becomes privatized or government micro-managed in any way, we’re losing our civil rights. Not to mention how terrible a track record the US government has with cyber security lately.

Closing:

Warriors, this is rotten timing, I know. We should be focusing on all the December holidays we have. We shouldn’t have to be contacting our Representatives and Senators.

BUT, we must sacrifice our energy and time! We have to do all we can to block the undermining of our nation! Congress is NOT helping our education system; it’s NOT representing true American values; and, it’s NOT honoring our U.S. Constitution.

Isn’t that worth a few minutes of time in the last days of 2017? We must revolt against all that is wrong with these egregious Bills!

Can I Get a “Meow”?

Warriors Against Fed Ed, we know that the overreach in education is NOT contained in the K-12th grade levels. We also know it’s not restricted to public education, but spills over into ALL educational choices.
We can thank federal laws for that. The ‘holy trio’ of WIOA, ESSA, and the HEA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014; Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015; Higher Education Act of 2008, and, currently being re-written to become re-authorized.)

I believe Congress is preparing the way for the ‘new’ HEA by creating Bills now which amend the current HEA. Why is the ‘new’ HEA a concern for Fed Ed Warriors? It’s the last ‘link in the chain for a cradle to career streamlined education for workers’.

I’ve written about other Congressional Bills which also are laying the trail to the new and improved HEA. However, there’s a new Bill in town…

Bringing on the Bipartisanship:

S718 (The Making Education Affordable and Accessible Act (MEAA)
**As of this writing, there is no text version of the Bill available from Congress.gov)
**Because the Bill’s acronym is so close to  ‘meow’, I’m using a cat theme for the rest of the article.

Quick facts:
1) There are 4 Senators aponsoring/co-sponsoring this ‘cat-nip’ bill: Franken (MN); Peters (MI); Cassidy (LA), and, Boozman (AR).
2) Because ”bipartisan” can be claimed, so can the ‘litter box’ contents that come with this Bill.

3) Because it helps lay a deceptive ‘mouse trap’ for citizens involved in higher education, we need to watch for the ‘claws’ being used to pull us in.

4) Since the text version of S718 isn’t  available just yet, we can find out much information about it from the Sponsor’s official press release. Senator Peters’ website reveals the following ‘cat treats’:

5) Not only do we have 4 Senators behind this Bill, there are also 2 House of  Representatives involved in this: Polis, CO and Reed, NY. This makes the Bill ‘bicameral’.

**Warriors, this should be a sign that federally led education is NOT a single party creation! Both mainstream parties are extending the overreach. Think of it as the ‘litter box smell’ that can’t be contained.

6) This is not the first time a Bill seeking to make college ‘more affordable and accessible’ has been attempted in recent history. It’s the same ‘mouse trap’, just designed a bit differently.

7) The targeted group for S718? High school students! The ‘stealthy’ Bill will ‘providing grants to eligible institutions of higher learning to create dual and concurrent enrollment and early/middle college programs..’

**Warriors, ESSA’s State required accountability reports must include dual enrolled, concurrent enrolled, and early/middle college programs. It also streamlines ALL education in high schools OR these programs to be aligned to WIOA’s requirements for post-secondary readiness! It also streamlines teachers and their training. Talk about ‘claws’ being dug into our citizens…

8) Sen. Peters’ comments included: “Some form of higher education or technical certification is increasingly essential to joining today’s workforce, and the rising cost of tuition should not be a barrier that keeps students from getting the skills and education they need to succeed,” said Senator Peters. “I’m proud to introduce this bipartisan legislation that helps students save money while getting a head start on their college education. The Making Education Affordable and Accessible Act will help ensure students are well-prepared for their chosen careers and employers have trained workers to fill the jobs of the future.”

9) Sen. Cassidy’s comments included: “In order to bring high-skilled, well-paying jobs with good benefits to Louisiana and our nation, we need a highly capable workforce. This bill provides a next step in training American workers for the jobs of tomorrow.”

10) AR’s Senator: “This legislation creates an affordable opportunity for students to develop real-world skills employers need while pursing higher education. These programs have been beneficial in Arkansas by helping prepare students to enter the workforce as future employees for local businesses,” Senator Boozman said.

11) Sen. Franken’s“Our commonsense, bipartisan bill would help more high school students earn college credits before they pay a dime in tuition—and it could also support professional development opportunities for educators in Minnesota who teach courses in dual enrollment programs. ” (*Note: to see Sen. Franken’s other workforce based education offering, click here.)

12) From CO“Allowing more students to attain college credit while still in high school puts them on a clear track to achieve a college degree and excel in the workforce,” Representative Polis said.

13) From Rep. ReedDual and concurrent enrollment programs offer students quality educational options that will prepare them for meaningful careers. “

14) Look below for the seemingly innocent ‘meows’ from CCSS Machine member groups. Warriors, it’s not innocent. It’s a purposed, planned, and ‘roar-like’ call for conformity!
(*Note: Sen. Peters’ press release has all the CCSS Machine reguritated supportive statements from each of the Groups below.)

Closing:

Warriors, we MUST rein in the federal overreaches! We can no longer act like kittens when it comes to our nation and the aligned direction it is being set to. We must be the tigers and tigresses. If you live in any of the States these Senators and Representatives are from, be encouraged to reach out to them concerning this.

The Warrior’s Accoutrements

Today’s article will feature a variety of informational tools you can use (aka ‘accoutrements’) for our continued War vs. the Core.

Money Talks In This War:

1) ICYMI: My no-holes-barred look into President Trump’s Proposed Budget. The CCSS Machine’s education reform takes money to keep up its agenda. Our government has been a party to this for long enough. If we are to see the end of Common Core during Mr. Trump’s service, we MUST use truthful evidence to hold ALL of D.C. accountable, not just a select few.

2) My 7 page “Anti Fed Ed Common Core and all Its Related Activities” document. Within these 7 pages is a breakdown of priorities, we as Warriors must address surrounding the federal budget. See: AntiFedEdCommonCoreandallItsRelatedActivities

Within Mr. Trump’s plans, I found 85 ways his requests KEEP the CCSS Machine going. My priorities list gives you a mountain of accoutrements to use, just look for the highlighted words, you’ll be able to access years worth of researched evidence to support the priorities.
We have no time to waste in crunching numbers to wipe out nationally led education.
(*Note: Mr. Trump’s Proposal must be approved by Congress. We’ve also yet to see what Congress has laid out for education reform.)

As we learned before, all federal Cabinet Departments are in on the transforming education from academic based to workforce training.

Control From Above:

1) ‘New’ State Templates for Writing Your ‘Own’ ESSA Plans.
Yes, my Warrior friends, the U.S. Dept. of Ed recently released an updated version for how our States should formulate their educational plans. However, with the first ESSA deadline a few days away (April 3, 2018), how much difference is really in the new version? If a State is to be free enough to formulate its own education plan, is the Dept. of Ed still micromanaging?
ICYMI, the press release is embedded above. I include it so you can not only read the ‘feel good’ language  has chosen, but you can see embedded links to the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), Great Schools of America, etc.
(*Note: In the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s letter to the CCSSO, you’ll find how DeVos chose to promote a ‘concerted effort’ between States and the organization.)

Here’s your Warrior accoutrement! From Page 2 of the ‘canned’ U.S. Dept. of Ed’s ESSA State Plan.

accoutrementYou can find the new ESSA States guide, here.  States are not being given an option when it comes to working with the CCSSO.

Compare the above screen shot to the one below and see what changed from Dec. 2016 to March 2017:

ncessadraft

2) CCSSO, AdvancEd, and the Aspen Institute
Back in Sept. 2016, North Dakota Dept. of Public Instruction staff traveled to a CCSSO Meeting held in Atlanta, GA. As it happened, AdvancED was also holding a Symposium which fit right in with this meeting.  AdvancED even suggested you do some pre-Symposium reading. The goal of the Syposium? To supply State leaders with pre-formatted State Plans devoloped by AdvancED .
The topic of both the CCSSO’s and AdvancEd’s meetings? ESSA Implementation at the State level. While I’ve been unsuccessful in finding evidence of the CCSSO’s meeting held at the same time. I did find the ND notes about the meeting. See below:

ccssoatl

If you’d like more information on PTESS, click here.

Not long after the duo of CCSSO/AdvancEd influence over our State Education leaders, CCSSO teamed up with the Aspen Institute for another ESSA ‘guiding tool’.
Warriors, for us, it’s an accoutrement! How? It reveals how these pro CCSS groups are telling States how to act, what to do, what to say, and where to seek help.

What About Asssesments?
Warriors
, it’s no secret we’re in the ‘opt out’ season. We’ve seen the ESSA evidence about keeping the 95 percent assessment rate. States, via ESSA’s mandates, will include the participation rates.

Where? In the State’s accountability reports. States will have to turn these into the U.S. Dept. of Ed. Why? To keep receiving state-formulated grants.

1) An accoutrement we can use is the Fair Test’s latest on why and how to ‘opt out’. However, this comes with a warning. Fair Test is backed by the CCSS Machine and is tied to the New World Order Foundation. Much of the ideology held by NWOF is tied back to the global mindset found in the UN (United Nations). National Education Association (NEA) is also a key backer for Fair Test. Taking into consideration how sold out to the CCSS Machine and ESSA, the NEA is, don’t trust their advice!

2) What about the global push for assessing education?
Warriors, we know Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) isn’t  going away. PISA is a tool of the OCED (Organisation for Co-operation and Economic Development). OCED loves to work with the UN.
Here’s an accoutrement you can use. The Center for Curriculum Redesign (CCR), has published a series of articles about the need for MORE skill based assessments. This is only one part of the puzzle the CCSS Machine uses for advancing CBE (Competency Based Education)

4d
I found out about this when a stranger posted to my Common Core Diva Facebook page with the message to help save future doctors, workers, etc. Since I’d never heard of this person before, I wanted to check it out. Here’s the article. Below, see the screen shot from the end of the competency based assessment article. I’ve underlined 4 easily identifiable CCSS Machine supporters.

assesssupport
The CCR has 2 ‘must have’ accoutrements. The first addresses the 21st Century need for more assessments. The second addresses the workforce/skill based ‘needs’.
Why these are such a prize set of accoutrements is they are designed leaders and the more corporate minded education reformer. These will tell us what is coming and how our students will be over-assessed to fit a job slot, not their minds.
(*Note, Warriors, take your time exploring the CCR’s website. You’ll find international education groups, participating countries (example: Finland, which may be why we’re constantly comparing America to them), corporate partners, philanthropic groups, and more.)

Closing:

Warriors, our fight is far from over. Grab your shields, gather your fellow Warriors, and let’s use these accoutrements with ‘gusto’!

“Here I Stand, I Can Do No Other”

No, Warriors, I haven’t confused two historic figures. Yes, the picture you see is Joan of Arc. The title you read is a hat tip to Martin Luther as he nailed his 95 Points on that church door so long ago. If you have been following me long on my blog, or on social media, you know I have long identified with Joan’s fierceness. As far as Martin’s boldness? Yes, I’m about to go there.

A Certain Recent Release:

The President has recently released his 2018 Federal Budget Blueprint. It’s creating quite a buzz. You also know that in past federal budget releases, I’ve also gone over them.
In-depth and not unwilling to expose the alignment to the CCSS Machine.

The reality that the current President has promised to rid us of Common Core and yet padded the Administration with pro CCSS members, certainly has given us pause.

Trump’s promise for more jobs should also give us pause. Why? With the distinct presence of WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), ESSA (Every Student Succeeds), HEA (Higher Education Act); the federal money in place right NOW funneling through each of these; the CCSS Machine up to its neck in all 3, we need to be pointing to the same priorities:

a) Workforce based education IS here, playing out daily. It plays out not only through Common Core, but Career Tech Education, STEM, Next Gen, and so many other areas.
b) It’s playing out in employment centers, community colleges, our public-private partnerships, job development programs, and so many other places.
c) It comes in the form of SEL (social, emotional learning), CBE (competency based education), PBLs (project based learning), and constant over assessments for skills to meet some business’s idea of what a human should be able to do.

For the President to rid us of ‘Common Core’, he needs to be ready to rid us of ALL the connections. Think how many times we’ve heard and said, ‘follow the money’.

Since D.C. is a favored conduit of the CCSS Machine, we know a lot of evidence is waiting to be exposed. Federal budgets have lots of money…and lots of evidence we can trace.

Every day we hesitate, the more ingrained the CCSS Machine becomes in the new Administration. Warriors, we saw the CCSS Machine take up residence in D.C. during the previous Administration. The Machine is STILL there.

Warriors, do not simply look at the Blueprint’s ‘Dept. of Education’ budget items. Read the WHOLE thing.

I wish I could tell you that the CCSS presence has been eliminated with Mr. Trump’s Blueprint. It hasn’t.

Flummox Awaits Us:

(*Note: ‘flummox’ is an old word for being bewildered or perplexed.)

Flummox #1): So, in Trump’s Blueprint, did ‘Common Core’ get the axe? Not by name. There were some things involving CCSS, but not too many. Warriors, eliminating CCSS in one area (no matter how huge), means it survives elsewhere.

Flummox #2): Did the Dept. of Ed receive cuts? Yes, but are those cuts enough? That, my Warriors, remains to be seen.

Flummox #3): While the President’s Blueprint is not the entire Federal Budget, the word ‘blueprint’ suggests that what the President wants may be changed by Congress.

When will “We the People” get to see the entire 2018 federal budget? What other CCSS Machine ties will be revealed when We see it? Will We have time to influence Congress or will it be too late?

degrees

A First Glance At The Blueprint:

Mr. Trump has identified (in the opening pages of the Blueprint) that the following federally funded activities/groups/services will be eliminated if his Budget requests are approved.

I’ve researched each of of these and have proven their CCSS ties. I’ve provided the previous published articles so you can go back and read just how deep those CCSS ties go. We’ll need to know which groups will be spinning the pro-CCSS rhetoric in the coming days.)

National Endowment of the Humanities

National Endowment of the Arts

PBS (proof)
*Note: be sure to scroll down to see PBS’s embedding in ESSA.

Institute of Library and Museum Services
*Note: there are at least 2 other related articles mentioned in this one. Find them here and here.
We should also note the question posed in the ‘Services’ article. If local areas cannot match federal funds, services like your libraries will close.

Woodrow Wilson International Center of Scholars (my article delved into the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Program. Both are under the same logo.) In the Blueprint, it is unclear how and if the International funding cut will impact the entire Woodrow Wilson organization.

21st Century Community Learning Centers
*Note: of the many articles surrounding 21stCCLCs, this is probably the most relevant considering the Blueprint.

Be sure to see the other connections you’ll also see in the Blueprint. Also remember, Warriors, 21st CCLCs are codified in ESSA. Will Trump’s elimination of CCSS, repeal ESSA?!

blueprintbuddies

Blueprint Agency Items “I Can Do No Other With”:

Martin Luther’s passion for truth and his boldness for making the evidence public drove him to state the declaration you see above. I like that boldness. While he found 95 pieces of evidence for action,  I’ve been able to identify 85 Concerns in the President’s Blueprint.  Here is the link to my special Guide detailing them.

To use the Guide, simply open the link. All red highlighted words will have several of my previously published articles which directly relate to each of the Agencies in the Blueprint.

Use the research to help you formulate your dissent to seeing MORE Common Core (and all its related entities) continued in the 2018 Budget!

Use any of the research to help you create a way to help remind the President of his campaign promise to rid us of Common Core. To rid us of the name only, solves nothing.

Lastly, share the Guide, as you see fit. Knowledge about the CCSS Machine is what keeps us powerful. We should be making as much of a protest about the Blueprint as we did about the new Secretary of Education’s confirmation.

No, we should be making MORE noise. We should demand a full repeal of any and all federal activity overreaching into education.

Warriors, it will take MORE than alerting the Oval Office with our priorities. We need to be ‘nailing these points to Congress’s doors. We need to be shouting these pieces of evidence boldly.

Warriors, we must do all of this. To do less, is something we should not permit. To take a ‘wait and see’ attitude could be dangerous to our fellow citizens.
Why? The federal budget impacts every age group, not a select few. With so much of the CCSS Machine still in our education, we must be a modern day Martin Luther of Joan of Arc.
