A Matter of Trust?

To My Anti Fed Ed Warriors, it’s been SUCH a busy week of fighting against CCSS Machine.

This article will be short in words, but HUGE in audio content. Why? Warriors, it’s a matter of trust for all of us..

Trust between a citizen and their nation; trust between a parent and a child; AND keeping us ‘at the ready’ against the national data rape our government is committing DAILY!

Some of us who are STILL exposing the illegal activities of our government as part of the CCSS Machine, as well as the willingness of ANYONE else connected, see apathy among parents. WHY? How can we POSSIBLY afford the ‘luxury’ of apathy at this stage of our nation’s demise???!!

Parents, education IS the #1 ‘change agent’ by which to undermine our nation!
Data which is collected on our students (or all ages and all choices) is the #1 way to control them! Data is the #1 way to control the nation..it’s economy AND it’s direction.

However, data rape isn’t our only area where we should be on alert. We need to check our trust level of the education system. With ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) embedded enough mandates that will align every single education choice known to us!

Yet, we’re STILL sending our beloved children into this system. Parents who have gotten their kids out of the more traditional public system and placed them into an alternative, are finding that the SAME data rape, the SAME indoctrination, the SAME assessments are there are well. Warriors, THAT is the VERY goal of ESSA!

Why are we wondering why our kids come home confused about life, when we say we don’t want fed led ed, but we don’t bat an eye sending them there!

Our kids trust us, as their parents! Parents seem to still trust the schools. When schools steeped in indoctrination (which is against the very family entity) tell the students to think one way and we (dare) to say ‘No, we think this way.” WHAT ARE WE REALLY SHOWING OUR KIDS? If the students accept your blanket trust in the CCSS Machine system, then WHATEVER happens in THAT system will be what those students THINK you WANT them to be exposed to!!

Do you really WANT your child daily data raped? Do you really WANT your child assigned to a job path before they can truly decided what they DESIRE to do? Do you really WANT to see the government demand taxpayer money of YOURS to pay for BOTH these and MORE?

Remember, even home education is in danger every time early college/dual enrollment, internships, apprenticeships, virtual public schools, AP (Advanced Placement), IB (International Baccalaureate), ALL of the nationally-normed tests (especially ACT and SAT, GED, and CLEP).

We are ALLOWING our kids to face daily data rape for not simply undermining America, but aligning to the United Nations. Don’t think the data rape extends that far?! I urge you to go back and READ the evidence! A computer has the ability to track everything a student knows, thinks, and does. 

Below are the millions/billions of dollars being earmarked for
NATIONAL DATA COLLECTION in 2019. 
HR 6470 and S 3158 are simply a beginning point for Congress in relation to the Fiscal Year (FY) Finalized 2019 Budget. Both these Bills cover ONLY the Depts of Labor, HHS, Education, and ANY related Agency.

The fiscal Year 2019 begins 10/1/18.

Career Aligning Data Mining:
*From HR 6470, $6 million to enlarge and innovate the Workforce Quality Data Initiative (WQDI) uses personal, private data from those in post-secondary schools and the job market to streamline back down to the Student Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) used in any K-12th-grade education tracking system (all ed choices).

In S 3158, $6 million for WQDI is also set aside.

*YouthBuild (HR 6470: $92, 534,000/S 3158: $93,079,000

*Expanding Apprenticeships (dovetails directly into the new CTE law and Exec Order for expansion) HR 6470: $150 million/S 3158: $160 million

*State grants for One Stop Job Centers, National Data Systems, Vets, etc. HR 6470: $3.47 billion; S 3158: $3.5 billion

*Health Care Data collection S 3158: $21 million

*HR 6470’s Health Care Data Collection is lumped in with Substance Abuse Mental Health Service Admin. (SAMHA) funds for ‘early intervention’ evidence-based research), $1.4 billion

*HR 6470 Health Surveillance/Research (ties to the Freedom of Information Act) $467 million; Data Collection for Substance Abuse: $79 million. Similar to this in S 3158 is the $60.3 million in funds for Health Information Technology upgrades.

*In Education, NATIONAL DATA COLLECTION VIA “SAFE SCHOOLS” 
(HR 6470: $5.2 billion; S 3158: $5.3 billion)

*HR 6470 has $6.5 million set aside in education for the Census Bureau and Education Data, S 3158: $5 million

*Career Tech Ed (CTE) HR 6470, $1.9 billion (will use SLDS and WQDI among other DATA RAPE information)

S 3158 for CTE: $1.8 billion
Institutes for Educational Science (IES), US Dept. of Ed research arm totally dependent on massive amounts of data)

HR 6470: $613 million, S 3158: $615 million BOTH these amounts carry the mandate that they MUST connect Pre-K to adult education/workforce data.

Most people believe that an IEP is only for students with special needs, as referenced in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). But the fact is, an IEP (Personalized Learning) will soon be, for every American citizen in this new P-20W system. P-20W meaning from prenatal through the workforce, and is a part of a much bigger plan. It is a controlled workforce for a controlled global economy.

When the money follows the child, state or federal Education Savings Acts (ESA)s, via government, regulated “School Choice”, the access point is established to reach every citizen, no matter what education choose is used.

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, in the last few days of July, I wrote and published a researched article centered on the former HR 2353, now Public Law 115-224, the “Strengthening CTE (Career Tech Education) for the 21st Century Act”. Warriors, the Bill became law when President Trump signed it on July 31, 2018. He was surrounding by lots of CTE ‘champion cheerleaders’.

Interestingly enough, the PA Representative’s (Rep. Thompson, who was the chief sponsor of HR 2353) Press Release stated that this Bill (now Law) overhauls the former Perkins CTE Act of 2006. Speaking of THAT Act, I showed you back in 2014, how the Perkins Act re-branded ‘vocational technical’ to “Career and Technical”.

So, once again, the CCSS Machine has been playing agenda word games with the citizens ever since then. Trouble is, most Americans are still remember education is as it used to be and not fully grasping the toxic changes being sneaked in under some familiar phrasing. Still more troubling is that there is almost zero ‘education’ happening in CTE (Career Tech Ed). It’s roughly 98% workforce training.

Warriors, links to my latest video about the new CTE (Career Tech Education) Law (formerly HR 2353, now Public Law 115-224). In the video, you’ll learn how the 2017 Executive Order 13801 plays into the Public Law 115-224 as well as connects directly to the new Executive Order 13845, signed July 19, 2018. (*Note, in the opening moments of my latest video, I mistaken identified HR 2353 as a resolution, it was a Bill.)

As I stated in the video, I’m providing much more information in this article.

Previous research into just what PL 115-224  (HR 2353) is going to set up for us across America:
1) From earlier this year, States are to take the CTE Pledge. After all, WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), STEM Act (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), HEA (Higher Education Act), and ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) all have!
2) From 2017. How HR 2353 would ‘level’ all education into the same thing. As we know, that was ESSA’s  goal all along.


3) To give you an idea of how eerily close the National Workforce Council created by EO 13845 is to the one laid out in the LADDER Act (as well as how ANY national council will data rape the citizens), read this article of mine.

Warriors, you’ll also definitely want to look at the May 2018 Executive Order 13801’s Final Task Force Report. In it you’ll see that the 3Rs have been sacrificed for the global economy rhetoric. How will this economic portion play out in schools? Career Technical tracks and ‘post-secondary readiness’, as laid out by ESSA.

Task Force Report Notes Previously Not Shared:
1) The entire Report is 51 pages long. Within these pages, the over all policy agenda is 4-fold: Educate, Expand, Control, and Attract (you’ll find this in the U.S. Dept. of Commerce’s Secretary Ross’s introductory letter.)

2) The Task Force created by EO 13801 (Expanding Apprenticeships) was broken into 4 sub-groups. 1) Education and Credentials; 2) Attracting Businesses to Education; 3) Expanding Access, Equity, and Career Awareness; and, 4) Administrating Regulatory Strategies.

3) From the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Secretary Acosta’s opening letter, his goal was filling ‘insufficient’ skill gap apprenticeships*. The 26 steps the Task Force created will unfold over the next 5 years. *As ‘reported’ by public service, education, trade associations, labor unions, and companies.

4) From the U.S. Dept. of Education’s Secretary DeVos’s opening letter, her input was centered on President Trump’s expansion of apprenticeships. She claims it’s a NATIONAL priority as well as a NATIONAL education one. Her comments target ‘active learners’. She goes on to say the actions will speed up unity between education and jobs. How will this happen? Using more ‘flexible’ industry created learning models. This will, in turn, breed qualified workforce for the 21st Century. This type of qualified workforce will be key for the 21st economy, security, and, prosperity. This learning model will engage learners and be cost-effective for employers. Workforce based learning will a great way to learn, work, and earn. (*Note, underlined below will be the evidence we need showing the continued federal overreach ‘commitment’.)

5) From the U.S. Dept. of Commerce’s Secretary Ross’s letter. These 26 steps will update an 80 year old American system. He goes on to stress that the historic gains the President has made will be a carrot to fill high-skilled jobs. Sec. Ross mentions Rep. Foxx’s misinformation about the unfilled 6 million jobs in America. (*Note: be sure to scroll down to the comments section of the embedded article directly above.)

6) From the Report’s Executive Summary, the tone suggests that the entire woe of America is higher education, as in, colleges and universities! “When implemented correctly, apprenticeships will provide a career path!” (See Page 10)

7) From the 1st sub-group: Expand industry recognized apprenticeship programs, especially the ‘learn-to-earn’ ones; include CBE (competency based education) assessments; P3s (public private partnerships) clarify national portable credentials (national ID card for working); federal government identifies available resources to carry these activities out (industry sector led financing).

8) From the 2nd sub-group: use and streamline various funding streams in simple ways for attracting businesses to education (State incentives); study skill gap shortages (data rape/manipulation); U.S. Dept. of Labor centralizes all data between all participants.

9) From the 3rd sub-group: Federal government funds an all out advertising blitz (propaganda) to raise awareness for workforce based apprenticeships/aligned education; incentives by federal government to businesses for more ‘learn-to-earn’ programs; U.S. Dept. of Labor leads funding campaigns to create more community based efforts for aligned apprenticeships; improve the existing data base for the Registered Apprenticeship System.

10) From the 4th sub-group: Begin with pilot project for expanding CTE apprenticeships via a selected industry from the existing Registered Apprenticeship System. In that selected pilot: focus on mastery based learning and competency; cannot include the construction industry per the Davis-Bacon Act; base apprenticeship paychecks on a scale system to reflect competency; reform the existing Registered Apprenticeship System.

11) From the Introduction to the Report: Task Force actions began July 2017. Other meetings were held August 2017, November 2017, February 2018, March, April, and May 2018; the 4 sub-groups ‘cross pollinated’ their 26 steps to expanding CTE apprenticeships.

12) Also from the Introduction: Higher education (college) is letting Americans down; apprenticeships have a proven track record for affordability and relevancy in America; the U.S. Dept. of Labor has 4 pillars for all programs (apprenticeships included): provide your needs, manages your direction, earn money while you learn, and, rewards you with credentials. Total typical process time these programs take: 1-6 years.

13) Introduction continues with:
a) old apprenticeships were focused on construction and manufacturing. New ones will focus on healthcare, IT, transportation,energy, and logistics.
b) old pattern (in place since the 1930s) is the base for now; the U.S. Dept of Labor and States partner to ‘upskill and reskill’ citizens. Updates will remove all barriers for disabled, elderly to be included; create stable families (especially for low-income ones); improve economics and social community situations (cites a WA State example on Page 15); apprenticeships praised by bipartisan elected leaders, current and previous White House Administrations, and State Governors.
c) Page 16 will show you the huge ‘put down’ aimed at America’s colleges and universities.
d) Page 16 also shows the blatant lie that “Apprenticeships can offer a key component to the solution to the skills gap.” (Based off a Harvard University Business School Study. The irony is that Harvard partnered with Pearson to help create the myth of the ‘skills gap’ and helped create the Career Pathways as a solution. Career Pathways are a embedded part of CTE!)
e) Warriors, to me, this is the BIGGEST clue to just how globally minded D.C. has become while sacrificing our nation on the altar of our freedoms. The Task Force actually has the audaciousness to bring in how much American apprenticeships should copy the German and Swiss apprenticeships! (*Note: the European Union’s targeted youth ages are 16-24 years of age. That’s 8 years.)
See middle paragraphs on Page 17 for Germany and Switzerland). Be sure to look at the associated footnotes and see the CCSS Machine member groups/resources cited.

14) From the Section “Implementation Challenges”:
a) there are several complex and inter-related ones. Setting a tone of ‘us vs them’, here are what are considered to be challenges for the government:
i) student interest and engagement in ‘worker supply’
ii) parents lack ‘career awareness’
iii) youth do not grasp ‘viable’ tracks for prosperous futures
iv) businesses need better ‘career profiles’
v) communication needs include apprenticeship ‘design signals’ for skills needed
vi) more early career counseling especially for ‘middle skills’ to elevate the dignity of workforce apprenticeships
vii) increase ‘stackable credentials’, increase transportation for participants; increase P3s especially for flexibility in alignment.

15) Warriors, of the 26 action steps (which I gave in my latest video), will begin on Page 21 of the Report. Six steps will involve education/credentialing; Four will expand access, equity and career awareness. Three steps will go toward attracting businesses. The largest group belongs to the administration and regulations for apprenticeships and their implementation (which will be no doubt carried by Executive Order 13845’s created National Workforce Council) at 13 steps.

16) The Conclusion of the Report begins on Page 39. The most important information from this section is that businesses, labor unions, non-profits, trade and industry groups, education, and public officials are pleased to answer President Trump’s call to increase this type of programming in America. As Warriors, notice the ‘lifelong learning’ educratic phrase and how education/workforce aligned apprenticeships will break down American silos.

Teamwork Agenda: Marketing Lies

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I know that we have heard SO many educratic lies about schools in America, we could scream.

Wednesday night (9/6/17) I was the honored guest on Women on the Wall’s weekly anti CCSS Machine call. To say it was an easy topic, would be a lie. It wasn’t, in fact, I stumbled through quite a bit. Not because I wasn’t prepared, I was so upset about what is happening!

What was the topic? The upcoming broadcast of the EIF/Project XQ’s “Super School Live”. It’s set for 9/8/17 and is to be aired on ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. I urge you to listen to the archived version (above). You’ll need to have a pen and paper (or whatever you use to take notes) handy.

If you don’t have time to listen to the archive, let me state as concisely as I can that the ‘teamwork agenda’ surrounding the broadcast is marketing lies to justify making over American education, especially at the high school level. (*Note: the announcement for the Call had the archived links to my researched published articles you may wish to access for the evidence showing the lies and deception.)

This effort is NOT new. It’s NOT USA born or created, either. It’s sick and it’s twisted. The ‘teamwork agenda’ in spreading the marketing lies about education is set to one goal: weak-minded citizens trained for boosting the economy. 1) Rowe is a long-time CTE advocate.
2) Two of his tweets about CTE are seen on the right hand side of the article. One even plays up “Make America Great Again”.
3) Rowe testified in 2011 and 2014. The purpose? A marketing makeover for CTE.
4) The 74 is a pro CCSS Machine member organization, so their spin on Rowe’s activity for CTE. Of course, here, on my blog, you’ll find there is no spin, only the researched facts behind the marketing lies.

NC’s Spin for Teamwork Agenda:

Warriors, earlier in this article, I said we’d revisit the ACTE. Why? One of the latest headlines is about the wonderful news of NC’s CTE unifying with this national organization.

If that doesn’t mean much, consider the screen shot (near the beginning of this article) from NASCAR Technical Institute promoting Mike Rowe. NASCAR Tech is in NC! (It’s a branch school of the AZ based corporation.)

In NC, CTE offices are housed in the NC DPI (North Carolina Dept. of Public Instruction) for K-12th grades. In post-secondary education, the NC Board of Governors oversees it. Factor in the NC Dept. of Labor, as well.

Warriors, remember, because of the unifying forces behind the U.S. Dept. of Education and the U.S. Dept. of Labor, we have data tracking expressly FOR aligning careers to academics!

Let’s also consider that CTE is embedded in job seeking assessments used by those one-stop career centers or job application sites as part of your State government. You’ll find CTE in those skill based apprenticeships, too.

Warriors, I want to show you one more way the marketing hype has been used against us.

Here in my town, we’re seeing a 2014 bond (was placed on the ballot for citizens to vote on) come to fruition in the form of a ‘renovated’ city high school.

The money poured into the ad campaign for the renovation was plenty. The write-ups in the local news sources were also quite numerous. The bumper stickers and T-shirts all encouraged folks to vote ‘yes’ for the Bond, because if you didn’t, you somehow were being non-supportive and a terrible person.
As part of the Bond package, new spaces for CTE were planned on. Guess what? They’ve been built. There’s even a Career Bridge Council to help utilize the teamwork agenda built on education lies.

Closing Out April

My fellow Warriors Against Federally-run education, April 2017 is almost a thing of the past for us. 

During this month, we’ve seen several States turn in their ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Plans for approval by the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s Secretary, Betsy DeVos.
To see our States, yet again, bow to the Feds is angering. ESSA, was to give the States BACK their power to decide education, NOT,  once again, to seek a federal employee’s permission.

Warriors, we knew, from researching ESSA, the fallacy of State-led education. So what will May 2017 bring in this area of our War Vs the Core? Hopefully, a re-awakening! There are State level bills out there designed to help create ‘locally led’ education. Will they survive? Time will tell.

In April, we’ve seen many of our fellow Warriors slandered by pro-CCSS Machine member groups. I salute these Special Warriors because they are consistently seeking the truth, finding it, and sharing it. All the while encouraging our DC leadership to keep the promises to rid our nation of ‘Common Core’.
However have you noticed? ‘Common Core’, in name is gone. Yet, in every other aspect of education, ‘Common Core’ has survived via name changes used in the hopes to throw all of us off the track. Warriors, we have learned and shared every ONE of those name changes. No amount of opportunistic word play is going to deter us, is it?!

**ESSA’s name change ‘winner’ is “Challenging State Academic Standards”.  Yeah, right..until you read the fine print, then you’ll find those ‘challenging’ standards are the same old, failing standards they’ve been since 2009/2010.**

Think of it this way, Common Core’s name changes can be related to the lump of coal which is turned into a stunning diamond. The lump of course, is the ugly version. The diamond is the version everyone desires.

Common Core by ANY name is ugly. It promises us diamond-like results, but has failed every single time, in spite of ‘the-name-of-the-month’.

During April, you also know that I’ve been through quite a bit personally, and in my educational activism. I’ve not written as much, and when I have censorship via social media has succeeded somewhat in muting my voice. To that end, I’m embedding those particular articles below. Each are very, very important to read and share.

1) Calling out our leadership on the stance of education, is something in May, we must continue.

2) For our States to truly be free, they must learn to end relationships with those groups, companies, and, partnerships which are NOT being honest in seeing each State do its best where education is concerned. These groups, like the CCSSO (Council of Chief State School Officers), are, in fact, helping enable each State to become a federally mandated and restrained environment. The goal as to WHY groups like the CCSSO have for your State and mine? Workforce based education for a global economy.

3) In May 2017, I hope you find at least 5 other folks who are as ‘Fed Up’ as we Warriors are! Share this with them so they can hold their Representatives and Senators accountable, while they learn some of the names ‘Common Core’ hides behind (example: CTE, Career Tech Education).

I’ll keep writing when and where I can, both here and as a guest columnist on the Patriot Institute, where I address education exclusively.

CCSS/CTE BS Alert!

Anti CCSS Warriors, Fed Ed Warriors, and everyone in between…
Are you fed up with the lies about education from educrats?!

I am! My article today is a response to the Vice President’s education remarks during the recent CPAC event.

Talk is cheap. I feel mocked…again. Some educratic buzz phrases we’ve heard SO many times showed up in Pence’s words. I am so tired of people in power who think they can mutter what sounds good or popular and be trusted. The one statement which really ticked me off?! “We’re in the promise keeping business.”  Before I go any further, here is the link to his speech.

From Pence’s Time In IN:

His work, in education, did not  keep his constituents happy. Just ask the anti CCSS/Fed Ed Warriors in IN. They KNOW he’s a CCSS Machine member. I know it from previous research. Our entire nation needs to wake up and see he is an EDUCRAT!

From the Washington Post’s article, Pence, as Governor ignored the voice of the People in IN many times when it came to education. So, how are the American Citizens supposed to believe anything Pence says about education as VP?!

Back to the CPAC Words:

Anyone given the right words can whip up a crowd. Especially when you leave out key facts. Pence near the 13:32 mark that no State should ever be forced to adopt ‘Common Core’. The crowd cheered loudly.

Of course cheering would happen when you preempt your ‘adoption’ comment behind how the Trump Administration is on board with education reform which wants to give more school choices and that recognizes education is a local function. Pence didn’t appear uncomfortable one bit when saying these things. However, let’s look at WHY these statements ARE supportive of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act).

First off, neither the President or Vice President should be on board with education reform in its current state of top-down, bottom-up; anti teacher; anti parent;  and willingly selling out our students. They should not be supportive of any of the educational federal laws which are illegally based and contridict the U.S. Constitution! Secondly, ESSA has been sold by the CCSS Machine as education is given back ‘locally’. False!  By acknowledging the ‘local control’ yet doing nothing to end the illegally based reform is double speak. Lastly, ESSA lies have been spread that ‘school choice’ will somehow give you more in education, when it reality it is more of the same! Look below. In a fairly recent article, I showed you how the Trump/Pence Education Plan was about expanding fed ed, not lessening it. Since that publication, it appears Trump STILL doesn’t know what’s Common Core and what isn’t. Since Pence likes to claim he balances the President, apply that concept here.  Pence isn’t clueless about CCSS or CTE (Common Core State Standards/Career Tech Education). Suddenly, now that he’s the second most powerful man in America, he wants us to believe he is among our best allies in fighting the CCSS Machine. A quick internet search shows Pence is closely tied to CTE.

IF all this wasn’t enough, add Pence’s claims about school choice and his alliance with Betsy DeVos. Research which shows her family’s friendships with Pence. One could even point out these ties may have swayed him, especially in his vote for DeVos as Secretary of Education.  Pence has a close relationship with DeVos’s brother, Erik Prince. As Far As The Reality of “School Choice”:

Recently, Alice Linahan asked me to guest appear on the Women on the Wall National Conference Call. It is imperative the Trump Administration listens. Why?

School Choice’ via ESSA is exposed to be exactly what we, the anti CCSS Warriors know: an unadulterated farce. You sure haven’t heard Mr. Pence share THAT truth with anyone, especially when appearing before adoring fans.


If You Want to Speak The Truth:

After absorbing all this information, use the #KeepYourPromise on Twitter and help tweet on Feb. 27th that the Trump/Pence campaign promised  “No More Common Core!” For there to be NO ‘Common Core’, it MUST be destroyed in ALL its forms, even Pence’s champion cause, CTE!!

From the White House:

President Trump’s “National School Choice Week” Proclamation included this excerpt shows us just how effective the CCSS Machine’s propaganda has been. At almost every turn, since Trump/Pence’s inauguration, their ears have been plugged to our consistent truths about the CCSS Machine. If they’d listened, they would know the Proclamation was a victory for the CCSS Machine, NOT a blow against it. Here’s an excerpt:
“By expanding school choice and providing more educational opportunities for every American family, we can help make sure that every child has an equal shot at achieving the American Dream.  More choices for our students will make our schools better for everybody.”

From VP Pence’s official White House biography, “As Governor of Indiana, Vice President Pence increased school funding, expanded school choice, and created the first state-funded Pre-K plan in Indiana history. He made career and technical education a priority in every high school.”

A painful truth I found on the White House’s website, education is not listed among the ‘top issues’.

What is top among the Trump/Pence Administration? Energy (the U.S. Dept of Energy is in the CCSS Machine via CTE.), Foreign Policy, Jobs Returning to America and Job Growth (will most definitely encompass STEM and CTE), Military and Law Enforcement (tied to the CCSS Machine), and, Trade Agreements (will definitely tie to global economy).

My Last Thoughts, Comments, and, Responses to Pence’s Speech:

1)The friendship between so many in the Administration is giving off the attitude of greatness and shaking the established system up, especially in education. BS! You CANNOT possibly have greatness or beating the Establishment as long as you deceive the nation with ridding us of CCSS when you have so much firmly embedded to carry it on.

2) ‘Government for the people, by the people, and, of the people’ would be more believable when the People speak by the millions to not confirm the worst Secretary of Education to date. Somehow, though that message got blocked. Very much like when Pence, as IN’s Governor ignored the will of the citizens there.

3) Pence said Trump was already delievering results for American citizens, so far, I must disagree on education. If you really want America  to buy into the “Promise Keeping Business”, Mr. PenceSTOP the misinformation! STOP the CCSS Machine in ALL its forms, NOT just Common Core! Do not tell us (the anti CCSS/Fed Ed Warriors) education reform begins with MORE SCHOOL CHOICE. ESSA kills ‘school choice’. If you’ve not read ESSA like I have, you would know this and not spread the lie that ‘school choice’ is the answer.

4) Pence said (CPAC Speech) the States should not be forced to adopt CCSS. Is he serious? Does he not remember that the ‘CCSS forced acceptance’ happened back with Race to the Top?!  States had no choice when it came to CCSS being in their educational system thanks to the federal funds and the strings which came with them.

What Should Be Said:

1) “States shouldn’t have to CONTINUE to be forced to adhere to CCSS or anything connected to it.” (my words)
2) “I will uphold the U.S. Constitution and recognize all that goes with Common Core violates it.” (words to be spoken by Pence, Trump, and the entire Congress)

H5963 has advanced in the House! If you received my earlier version of this same post, you’ll see the Bill number was incorrect. I’ve addressed that. I’ve also found out that I misunderstood exactly where HR5587 is. It passed the entire House by a vote of 405-5! The flurry of activity?! The House of Representatives is on ‘fire’ for their “Better Way” agenda. Leading that charge? Paul Ryan! A huge sold-out leader!

Warriors Against the Core, so far, 2016’s federal overreach into education has been written quickly, promoted widely, and is set to increase the choke-hold on freedom as we know it.

Yet, it appears the U.S. Congress could care less. Recently, I was a guest on the “Lori on Liberty” show, based out of CT. We discussed such nonchalance attitudes displayed from our leaders. My point, Warriors?! EVERY one of the Bills you see above is toxic to America in HUGE ways! Warriors, we have the ‘writing on the wall’ before us. WHAT are we willing to do with it?


As you can see in the graphic above, each of the Bills has the most basic of toxic components listed. But, know this: each of one them you see above has more ties than a centipede wearing tennis shoes!

Here is a chart I prepared in August 2016 which gives you a side by side look at HR5587, S3271, S3190, and S3174. One for H5963 will need to be created, too.

A problem is the LEGISLATORS want short and sweet (or ‘to the point’) pictures; one-half to 3/4 of a page in information!
Which is a HUGE clue as to they are unwilling to conduct the due diligence which they swore to do.
They should be not only willing to read the ENTIRE lengthy ‘saga-like’ bills being churned out, they should be doing it. IT’s THEIR JOB we PAY them for! We (Warriors) know several citizens who are DOING Congress’ job for them!!

Why are our Congress members NOT jumping up and down, screaming with anger over the 100% illegal daily activities going on?! Why are our Congress members NOT staging protests or holding press conferences revealing the criminal (yes, seriously criminal) charges which should be being levied against each other (and quite possibly themselves)?! If a ‘regular’ American citizen conducted even a FRACTION of any of the illegal moves, they’d be under the jail!

No, Congress is too busy NOT listening! Too much money is stuffed in their ears! The press conferences they are holding are to congratulate, not only, each other but every one of the supportive/sold out CCSS Machine members who helped ‘craft’ the Bills!

WHEN CONGRESS DOES NOT TAKE ITS JOB (ITS ONE and ONLY JOB) SERIOUSLY, WHY SHOULD I TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY?

If they’re not serious, why are they even there?! Because they’ve over complicated EVERYTHING, even the law. If they’d take the CCSS Machine’s money out of their ears, divorce themselves from the curried favors of the lobbyists of the CCSS Machine (or any person connected to it), THEY’D KNOW, “We the People” are their REAL Bosses! They’d recognize it is OUR voice with which they are to vote/protest/protect. They’d truly understand WE are to be respected, not manged like ‘village idiots’.

As an example of the glee and glory with which the House of Representatives is using in celebrating the advancement of HR5587, they’ve proudly displayed the list of organizations who are in 100% support of the Bill. It’s a ‘no brainer’ to see how many of them are CCSS Machine member organizations. Which means, Warriors, our same old foes are pumping out propaganda left and right.

America’s Obsession

In the past week or so, you have been able to learn about the Congressional obsession to ensure our nation has all the adult versions of Common Core, (called CTE, or Career Tech Education) we can stand. CTE goes by several other names and can be found in STEM, as well.

Last Wednesday, Women on the Wall featured what I had uncovered about S 3271 (Advance Workforce Act) and the HR 5587 (Strengthening Career Tech Education for the 21st Century). Both are to reauthorize the Carl Perkins Act of 2006.

Then, 2 days ago, I shared with you how S 3190 (Strengthening Our Rural Health Workforce Act of 2016) is going to not only align health care to CTE (thus Common Core and STEM), it’s going to join other health care laws to it! See:

There have been several national articles featuring the news about S 3271 and  HR 5587 since all this. We need to have just as much national attention on S 3190, as well..maybe even more attention. Why? Our health care system will directly impact millions. Think about the ramifications of it being aligned to the CCSS Machine!

Warriors, Congress is on recess right now (they will be back in D.C. and in session on 9/6/16). We MUST mount the horses of truth NOW and charge!

But, Wait, I Found More!

To prove my statement about the obsession D.C. has with CTE, consider the OTHER evidence below:

Just before Congress took their recess, several members decided to pledge their devotion (and thus will guide their districts) to CTE and all related.
House of Reps:
7/13/16, Rep. Foxx (NC) had these ‘fine’ words to say, “[There] is an unnecessary stigma attached to career and technical education. It’s too often referred to as the “other” track, with the incorrect implication that it’s the path individuals take if they won’t be able to handle the rigors of college. In reality, students who pursue CTE complete a diverse curriculum where they learn important skills for succeeding in the workplace such as problem-solving, research, time management and critical thinking
We need to shift our perspective away from the idea that every student must attend an expansive and expensive four-year program to succeed in the workforce. Educational success is about more than just a degree. It’s about quantifiable skills that employers need in their employees.”

(*Note: This is not the first time I have shared Foxx’s love of an aligned workforce with you, so it should be no surprise to hear her, once again, wax lovingly about it.)

8/11/16, Gov. Pence (IN), also the current Republican Vice Presidential candidate,
shared his love and obsession for CTE back in Feb. 2015. The House’s Ed and Workforce Committee is using that testimony to promote CTE legislation as a ‘bipartisan’ effort and subsequent successes. Here is a small portion of Gov. Pence’s testimony, “[We] cannot forget that a critical goal of our educational system is to enable students to succeed in a 21st century economy and to ensure that students are prepared for college and careers. For some students, this means a four-year college degree. While completing college is a goal which we need more students to attain, going directly into a career may prove the better option for many others.
This is not about a Plan A and a Plan B. This is about two Plan A’s. For those students who are not bound for the traditional four-year college, we must still ensure that they can thrive in their future careers, and one way to do this is to again make career and technical education a priority.”

The U.S. Senate:

Remember, Warriors, this is a D.C. obsession not immune to one Chamber of Congress. So what are our Senators spreading about CTE?

Just before recess went into effect there was another Workforce, CTE related piece of legislation. This one is S 3174 (called the LADDER Act). What will ‘Ladder’ do? Establish an independent Inter-agency Council for Workforce in our Executive Branch of government!

Here’s the bottom line for YG, “You’ll see how students have a limited time after either graduation or their last job to get on one of 3 tracks. They can choose, apprenticeships, training workshops or more education.”  The ‘American’ difference? It is targeting more citizens than our youth.

 
Spreading the Love:

The ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education) is one sold out CCSS Machine member organization I have shared much information with you in the past. ACTE embraced WIOA, HEA, and ESSA. ACTE loves STEM, too. The group also has a policy watch action section.  Be sure to read their thoughts on the 2016 General Elections, especially for Congress. Here is an excerpt you MUST share! “While the next president will set the policy agenda, Congress still makes the laws and controls the budget. In recent years, the House and Senate passed major education and workforce development legislation, including the Every Student Succeeds Act and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. With the upcoming re-authorization of several important pieces of legislation including the Perkins Act and Higher Education Act, as well as the continued threat of budget austerity in federal CTE funding, the battle for control of the 115th Congress will significantly impact the future of CTE policy.”

The Poisonous Love Bites:

Warriors,  each of our States has been bitten by the CCSS Machine’s CTE Love. We see celebrities touting the need for training workforce, we see our legislators fawning over trained workers for their State’s economy worse than nature during mating season, we have watched as our President has led initiatives to use school counselors to ‘win’ over more students for aligned career tracks, and so much more. How is the ‘love’ spread? Money with strings. Agenda with promises. Sold out citizens in key places hell-bent on reshaping our nation to no longer be the “land of the free/home of the brave”, but to be the ‘land of the controllers/home of the enslaved’.

Warrior’s Actions:

1) All of these Bills (in the 3 articles) have been introduced and are in Committees until Congress reconvenes Sept. 6, 2016.
2) All of these Bills are purposed moves by the CCSS Machine. The private parts of the Machine are influencing the public parts of the Machine to make all the alignment efforts complete.
3) We can work together to influence the Congress members to halt all these Bills!
4) We MUST act quickly and with accuracy.
5) Women on the Wall is currently working on resources for  our anti CCSS Warrior influence for maximum impact. Sunday, an Interview:

Normally, my media appearances on scheduled for Wednesdays. However, when I am asked to speak out, regardless of the day, if I can, I do.

This Sunday, May 15th, I will be the guest on the Lori on Liberty Show, based in CT. While setting things up with Lori, she shared with me that she is in this War because she is experiencing, first hand, the damage of CCSS through her high school children. Tuesday, an Opportunity to Speak Out:

This live event will find me joining several other NC based anti CCSS Warriors when we gather at a NC Dept. of Public Instruction “Stakeholders meeting”. We will meet at the East Forsyth High School (2500 W. Mountain St., Kernersville, NC). According to the NC DPI website, this meeting (held from 4 pm to 6 pm) is one of a handful held across the State to seek stakeholders input on how to make the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) truly a state controlled education reform.

Now, Warriors, we know for a fact that this goal is merely a posturing move by the Dept. to give the illusion of grandeur. Why would I say this? Consider the mountains of evidence I have shared with you in the recent past about the ESSA’s TRUE intent; think about the other mountains of facts other anti CCSS Warriors have shared about the agenda embedded in the ESSA.

So why would we go to such an event?
1) It will be video recorded and and can be shared.

2) It can be used as an example of what you can expect from your State if and when they decide to host stakeholder meetings.

3) We are to have 3 minutes each to ask questions or make comments. Going on public record in opposition is ALWAYS worth it. Public dissent helps our War efforts tremendously! Oh, I almost forgot, if you wish to speak up, you must register to do so before the meeting begins (so, my group is planning on being early, so we can be among the first to speak). The Dept. has also said we are invited to come prepared with written copies of our questions or statements. Almost as an afterthought, the Dept. has stated that we can also use their on-line ‘ask a question’ page.

4) According to the NC DPI Communications leader, there will be NO NC DPI responses given. This meeting is to only HEAR what the citizens have to say. I was told by the Communications Dept. that these Spring 2016 meetings are only the FIRST round of public interaction. So, I guess if I have a question and not a comment, it will not be answered right away.

Also, the NC DPI Communications lady said there is to be more ESSA interaction in Fall 2016, as well as when the Final Draft of NC’s ESSA Plan is up for Review (which should be just before it is submitted to the U.S. Dept. of Education.)

This leaves me with a few questions, a) Will the Final Draft stay the same by the time it leaves NC and heads to Washington, D.C.? b) Since NC is using so much pre-canned ESSA material (see below), how truly ‘local’ will this Draft be? c) What recourse is there for parents after the Draft has been sent away to be judged and it comes back unacceptable, will we be included in the tweaking process at all?

While the document does say States are to submit plans to the Secretary, they left out that this is the U.S. Dept. of Education’s Secretary! They omitted the fact the ESSA states said Secretary must approve those plans, too!

A slightly different contrast to NC and the ESSA will find what you see below. A Draft Timeline NC has created. Look at what groups are involved (and which ones are NOT):

When looking at your State for ESSA timelines, implementation plans, etc. Be sure to know what groups are involved (and which are left out), note if there are any specific ESSA committees or sub-committees being put into motion. Are they elected or appointed? If so, whom is deciding who serves? Are the ESSA committees/sub-committees accountable? If so, to whom?

 

Wednesday, Women on the Wall:

Make sure you mark the calendar for this call. I will be joining Alice Linahan (our hostess) and long time education researcher/Warrior, Diana Anderson. We are taking a fine-tooth-comb approach to the recent White Board Advisor’s Education Insiders May 2016 Report. The Report features their look at the ESSA, higher education, and the upcoming Presidential election. We will be focusing in on the top choices by both the Democrats and Republicans for the next U.S. Dept. of Education’s Secretary. It is important to note that the current U.S. Dept. of Ed Secretary, Dr. John King, may OR may not be asked to stay on as the leader under the next President. If he is allowed to stay, we already know what to expect, but IF he is relieved of his duties, who will be taking his place? This Report has several ‘qualified’ candidates we will be discussing. Many of them are tied to the CCSS Machine..some moreso than others. But, still, any tie, is one too many.
