Welcome back, Anti Fed Ed Warriors! I hope your Thanksgiving break was just what you needed.
Built into ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was the mandate to force ‘low performing’ schools into all kinds of straitjacket type solutions.
One, by far and away, the worst, was turning them over to privately run charter companies.
Look below and see how NC’s been creating laws and ‘new’ names to comply.
Your State’s doing this as well, Warriors!
Warriors, don’t forget, fromMay 2018, I showed you the NC’s ‘new’ solution for more ‘school choice’ which also feeds into the ESSA mandates that all education be aligned to the same thing. In that article, you’ll see how other States are also kowtowing to ‘Lab Schools’.
**************************************************** Given the fact NC legislators have re-branded and created so much which fits right into the CCSS Machine’s plans, how could they possibly create/re-brand more?!
Their solution? Take the ‘low performing’ schools and ‘renew’ them. What does it look like? How does it work? ***************************************************
Meet NC’s House Bill 986 (now State Law 2018-32)
(Bill/Lawin its entire form) (Link toWUNC’sarticle) Warriors, The ‘renewal’ parameters are not the first item in this ‘kitchen sink’ type of Bill (now State Law). If you want to skip to that section, you can go to the next section.
First, you’ll see the need for cursive and multiplication reports on a yearly basis. This is followed by expanding the advanced math for grades 3 and up. There’s even an option for parents to say no to advanced math for Johnny and Suzy, if they so choose.
This is followed by Educator Preparation Report Cards. Then a State Superintendent Testing Study. The point of the study? Reducing testing (as long as its not State or federally required) for K-12th grades. (*Note: Superintendent Johnson has already shoved out a ‘reduced testing’ fallacy, which I exposed in August 2018. You’ll also see that other States are doing the same type of thing.)
Next, is the Health and Suicide Protocol Training. That will see the NC’s Superintendent partner with the State’s HHS (Health and Human Services) to develop content and a model for mental health training which must include suicide, sex, and, substances.
Renew Your School?
It’s on Page 3 you’ll find the NC Renewal School District parameters begin. The 2018-32 Law is 8 pages in all, so all the nuts and bolts for ‘renewal’ have been laid out. In the screen shot below, I’ve summarized some of the biggest items:
Also built into the ‘renewal schools’ are anti bullying, school provided transportation for students, compliance with theState’s Uniform Education Reporting System(all data mining based), offering driver’s education, and, have at least 50% of the teachers licensed to teach. Of those who teach math, science, social studies, and language arts, they must be college graduates.
Renewal schools can contract with non-licensed citizens to be employed, they cannot teach, however.
On page 6 you’ll see that the funding for renewal schools will be a bit different than those schools not being renewed. The Law is clear in stating whatever State or federal funds are used for, State and federal mandates must be carried out.
Warriors, the most disturbing part about this renewal school district law is that the renewal system is locked into place until the 2022-23 academic yearUNLESS the renewal school fails.
However, the State Superintendent is the only one who can make the recommendation to close a renewal school..not the local school board! NC’s State Superintendent already has too much power, this built in mandate gives him more.
Look in your State, Warriors, what powers are increasing in your State Board of Education and/or Superintendent?
It does appear that IF a renewal school fails, it’s folded back into the public system, but then what?
It’s been passed off as ‘low performing’, then, maybe turned into a charter, to then be identified as ‘low performing’ again, to then go to ‘renewal’. The amount of waste in time, energy, money, and, most of all, messing with our teachers and students in this newest experiment is off the charts, Warriors!
The ‘renewal’ system is still steeped in massive student data rape, constant assessing for ‘student performance’.
How many ‘new ways’ are being foisted on the legislators to come up with the same reform in fresh forms?
Have we forgotten that those accreditation organizations (likeAdvancED) micromanage our school districts to no end already? What about their involvement in ‘renewal schools’? Why use one district(Rowan County)as the experiment school? (Source)
Is there a bigger piece of the ‘why Rowan County’ puzzle being chosen as the ‘renewal school district’? I believe there is, indeed.
The State of Indianais using the Rowan County NC STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Community Guide ‘success’ to embed more UN/ESSA mandates, including after school programs. Warriors, look in your States for similar activity.
If you look at the IN’s program and those funding it, you’ll see the Gates Foundation is chief among them.
Prosperity Zones are created by the NC Dept. of Commerce. Here’s their spin. Here’s mytruthabout them.
Warriors, since the passage of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), new laws with ESSA mandates (since forgotten or maybe never realized) are hitting us hard and fast.
We’ve got to do more to raise awareness. Those newly elected leaders. Did they run on an ‘anti Common Core’ campaign? If so, ask them how can they oppose CCSS, but embrace the ESSA’s fallacy filed mandates? For example, expanding school choice or using education savings accounts, expanding early childhood education (beginning at birth) or career tracking..these are all CCSS aligned! The federal funding flowing to every one of the 50 States is not being broken. Will these new leaders do so?
No matter if it’s ‘renewal’, ‘lab’, ‘innovation’or some other ‘new choice’, it’s a lie!
Work with the leaders (new or not) to show them where those fallacies are! You know them well, my Warriors! You have the research! Share it!
Oh, my Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’ve survived yet another election. My hat is tipped to those men and women who ARE against federally led education who ran for office. From what I know, most of them were beaten out by the Establishment. For shame, we need Warriors in power! However, the focus of my article is about the real loser in the 2018 elections: American education.
Education has been reduced to absurdity by the educrats in DC, State and local levels and well as the CCSS Machine. The November 6th, 2018 elections did ZERO to correct this absurdity, either.
In fact, I’ll wager my research, that if anything, the election results will INCREASE the amount of absurdity in education! This might be funny if it weren’t such a nightmare reality for our students, teachers, parents, and taxpayers. So how has this absurdity been pulled off? Delphi Techniques with a dash of Hegelian Dialect thrown in.
Delphi Technique And Hegelian Dialect Moves:
Warriors, Delphi Technique has been used on us many, many times by the CCSS Machine. You know, you go to a school related meeting, you’re placed in groups, given questions and asked to come up with solutions. Then, the results are shared with those asking for your input, yet very few of your solutions appear. What does? The preconceived solutions by the ‘system’.
This type of move gives you a false sense of involvement while the CCSS Machine retains control.
So, what’s the Hegelian Dialect? That’s another type of control method, only it’s done by controlling thoughts. From the Bitter Realities blog it’s described as a “framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution.”
The effect is, that, once inside that ‘predetermined solution’, you can’t see reality.
.For example, the title of the federal law known as ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is a Hegelian Dialect move.
How? By using carefully placed wording it impressed on the nation a predetermined solution that all students wouldsucceed. The Hegelian Dialect manipulates, as does ESSA. The Hegelian Dialect is a Communist tactic to drive economics.
Guess what? ESSA’s mandates for college/career readiness and workforce aligned education are also a Communist tactic to create worker drones, not educated citizens.
Put the 2 methods (Delphi and Hegelian) together and you’ve got quite a slick sales pitch. Look below at the example when the two are combined.
Seker’s Research (2015)(*Note: this will take you to the page to download the Research paper) If you’d like to see my latest IEEE article, visit here.
From the “In Defense of Our Nation” blog, this description of how We the People are being Delphied and Hegelianized to the point of frenzy, “This is how the dialectical process works and it is present in nearly all social issues confronting America. From global warming to health care, from gun control to wealth inequality we are being led to believe that we are overwhelmed with problems that only government can solve, and to solve them they need us to relinquish more of our God given liberty.”
Warriors, apply this all to education. Then, consider the elections. Those who’ve won, what types of words did they use in the campaign for education? What type of statements were given during the victory speeches?
From the ones I’ve read it’s more of the ESSA mandates in Hegelian terms.
For example, ‘more vocational classes’. Since ESSA embedded WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) there’s already nothing BUT vocational education. They are called Career Tech Education (CTE), Career Clusters, Career Pathways, and STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering, and Math). Back in 2006, ‘vocational tech’ was re-branded to CTE..on purpose. That purpose? Common Core aligned workforce education. When ESSA was passed into law, Common Core was re-branded to ‘challenging State Academic Standards’/’college and career readiness’/post-secondary readiness’.
Bring On the Reductio Ad Absurdum!
Warriors, if you’ve not heard of ‘reductio ad absurdum’ it’s Latin for “Reduced to Absurdity”. Another psychological tactic to mess with our heads and our hearts. The CCSS Machine uses this one, too. So do educrats. How does reducing things to absurdity work? Look below:
What reduction to absurdity about education that’s been uttered by several victors in the 2018 elections have we all heard? “Expansion of school choice”. Warriors, ‘school choice’ as we know it has gone.
That’s due to ESSA’s mandate that ALL education be aligned to post-secondary readiness as laid out by the industry credentialed standards in WIOA.
When all education is the same, how can we realistically expand it? You can’t. The CCSS Machine (and DC) knows this.
You cannot improve on 100%. The true absurdity is that these people in power will actually REDUCE choices in education. Why or how? Their States are being strung along by the top-down federal control to bow to the United Nations and the global shift in education. That shift? Workforce preparation, not academics.
This has ZERO to do with political parties and EVERYTHING to do with being controlled. So, since we all have to live together and work together, help fellow citizens out. Help those newly elected officials out. SHOW them how we’re all being manipulated to meet the CCSS Machine’s agenda in education.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, with all the attention being focused on the DC circus-like behavior, did you know the U.S. House passed a Bill late last week? This Bill (HR 6757) is a thief dressed as taxpayer savings. The thief is headed straight for the schools and our homes, too.
PA Rep. Mike Kelly introducedHR 6757in early September 2018. As of the end of September, it’s heading for the U.S. Senate. Fast tracked Bills mean the CCSS Machine is up to something, Warriors.
The House voted 240-177 in favor of this Bill. Currently, HR 6757 is in the Finance Committee of the Senate.
Warriors, the bottom line surrounding HR 6757 is this: Expansion of government to create the ‘end’ of school choice discrimination. How? By messing with our taxpayer dollars. (*Note: Jeb Bush, a huge CCSS Machine member has been pushing ESAs, education savings accounts for quite a while. So has Sen. Lamar Alexander. Sen. Alexander was also one of the major Congress members who promised America that ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act, would give education back to the States. He lied about that, Warriors, he’s lying about ESAs, too. Lastly, Heritage Foundation and Sen. Alexander have a connection. Heritage is in full support of ESAs under the illusion of ‘school choice’.)
HR 6757 seeks to amend the Internal Revenue Code from 1986, too. Supposedly, if enacted, it will save families TONS of money (The Bill is called the Family Savings Act).
Warriors, you may well remember that the 1980s brought us President Reagan. Reagan chose Charlotte Iserbyt to help end the U.S. Dept. of Education. She was fired instead. Mrs. Iserbyt has been warning us since the 1980s about the globalization of American education; how education savings accounts will be used as tax schemes to turn schools into workforce prep institutions.
What is CongressREALLY setting us up for with bills like HR 6757, Warriors? Look below:
Our current President (Trump) and Vice President (Pence) even used school choice and vouchers as part of their plan upon coming into Office. President Obama was big on ‘choice’ and the expansion of charters.
From 2017, Freedom Project Media’s 3rd video in their series called “Alternative Education in the Crosshairs”. This segment laid out the illusion of school choice and ESAs. If you’d like to view the other 3 segments, here’s my article featuring them.
But, Wait…The Media Said HR 6757 Is Good:
Warriors, very few major media outlets reported on HR 6757’s passage by the House. The spin was sunshine and roses, too. PR Newswireshared the Family Research Council’s article about how applause-worthy HR 6757 is.
Warriors, not to discredit FRC, but the ties to the U.S. Sec. of Education DeVos and her family arewoventhroughout this Christian based Council.
Let’s also raise THIS question: If we’re going to start education savings for unborn children, when will the control of their education and/or taxation of them begin?
Breibart Newsalso shared the news, although not quite as cheerful as the FRC’s.
Warriors, we’ve seen the huge controversy unborn children involve. Do we really need to throw education into the mix, too?! Are we so addicted to seeing DC play with fire (so to speak) in relation with our children that we’d actually be alright with HR 6575? I would hope not!
From TaxFoundation.org’s website, thenewsabout HR 6757 is not only welcome, it ties to other D.C. Legislation which impacts not only taxes, but our freedom. The article I’ve included gives you a good basic understanding of the new Universal Savings Accounts.
What these USAs (Universal Savings Accounts) can achieve sounds great. However, Warriors, similar systems are already in place inCanadaand theUnited Kingdom. The U.S. House of Representatives’s Bill HR 937 (Universal Savings Account Act) is sponsored byRep. Bratfrom VA. Over in the Senate, Sen Flake from AZ, introduced S 2320 for USAs.
The most disturbing part? The language of these types of accounts has the government in the driver’s seat and will ‘allow’ you to open savings accounts! If we’re putting the government in charge of our savings AND education, where will our freedoms stand?!
Look To The HR 6757 Committee Report:
Warriors, don’t simply stop at the language of HR 6757. Like the FY 2019 Appropriations Bills, The Family Savings Act has a Committee Report. If we’re going to better understand the strings this updated IRS Code will have, it will be here. While HR 6757 is a mere 98 pages, theCommittee Reportis well over 300 pages.
Title 3 of HR 6757 is where you’ll find the USAs, the Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) and more. However, remember, that in Congressional legislation, each part or title of a bill builds off the other titles. So, don’t simply skip to Title 3, look at Titles 1 and 2, first. Then, look beyond Title 3 for more strings.
I urge you to look on your own in the Committee Report for HR 6757. You’ll find that ‘education’ is embedded 120 times. You’ll read that these tax changes will begin AFTER Dec. 31, 2018 and extend to all the years beyond then. (*Note: you’ll see the initials JCT, this is short for Joint Committee on Taxation.)
Below are just a few of the CCSS Machine moves HR 6575 will bring to fruition: a) play upon the DC ledexpansionof registered apprenticeships (will tie to CTE, Career Tech Education, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math), College and Career Readiness (CCR), andmore. b) assimilates homeschooling families and pays special attention todual enrollment c) Page 20: education loan repayments d) Page 44: tax sheltered annuities and education e) Page 71: tax advantaged savings and education for the disabled (*Note: also on Page 71, you’ll see the clear definition of 529 College Savings Plans. They are the government’s, not yours. You’ll also see Coverdell Accounts. Look especially to the section called “Reasons for Change”. This will explain WHYCongress wants to change the tax codes.) f) Page 73: The blow by blow account for expanded 529 programs g) Page 75: More “Reasons for Change”. From my ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) research, this is a blatant grab on homeschoolers across America. Also on Page 75, direct ties to the National Apprenticeship Act. What 529 changes will occur (costs associated with apprenticeships, especially in higher education; home education expenses; and, qualified education loans spread out over your lifetime.)
Warriors, we know there have been Bills amending IRS tax codes before. Their purpose? To act as a back door to overtaking education. Back in 2017, I showed you howS 1193 and HR 2865were proposed to amend taxes for P3s in education. These ‘sisters’ would allow for businesses to control education. (*Note: look for items #3 and 4 in the linked article above.)
If you’d like to see Forbes’ take on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and how it may impact our unborn children, readthis.
Warriors, because there is no real school choice in ESSA and because our tax codes are shifting to reflect globalism, we know education has followed suit. How? Collectivism!
Lastly, my fellow Warriors, if you think of ESAs as a ‘pay for success’scheme (which they are being spun this way for Native Americans), you’ll get a shock. We need this type of ‘wake up’ call.
Warriors, we knew the CCSS Machine’s grasp on education was HUGE. We knew ESSA and the mandates would level school choice (remember, those 529 Savings Programs and Vouchers were supposed to give more choice, but it’s an illusion we cannot afford to buy into).
We knew Congress overreached into education. But this? This isn’t so much about education. It’s about top-down control..of our money, how we spend it, where we save it. It’s about limiting YOUR voice in your own life..and the lives of your children! This isn’t about academics, it’s about a boosted economy (part of why we have income and taxes). It’s about being shackled for a lifetime of servitude. This IS not OUR AMERICA!
Will you stand up against this tyranny? Our government is stealing us blind. We MUST fight back.
Warriors Against Fed Led Education, I’ve recently been looking over about 20 different federal bills from ‘our’ Congress. These bills are all the precursors to the Fiscal Year 2019’s FINALIZED Congressional Budget. In other words, what is laid out in this group of bills will be combed over, some changes made, and then combined into one BIG bill by mid September. Fiscal Year 2019 begins Oct. 1, 2018. SO, if we know what to look for NOW, we can be prepared later.
Why so many bills? Well, Warriors, think about it, when you have at least 9 different federal agencies overreaching into education, the funds have to not only be earmarked, they must come from several different angles.
However, make NO mistake, the size of government is NOT shrinking, nor is the footprint in ‘education’. One thing I can assure you of, as concerned American citizens. Our government does not care one bit about our students, as people, but as producers of profit for big government and big business.
As we know, Warriors, the shift in modern academics has been to remove true academia and replace it with workforce prep. The bills I’ve been looking at are 100% proof of this well planned, and so far, executed CCSS Machine agenda.
Warriors, for the remainder of this article, you’ll get all the information about these FY 2019 Congressional bills. Use the information to ask questions, demand answers, tell your Representative and Senator that there’s NO WAY you are OK with
(*Note: Not only will some of these bills cover FY 2019, but have laid the groundwork for every fiscal year between 2019 and 2028!)
Warriors, the time I’m asking you to spend on the following items is more than likely the most important thing you can do for your country. It’s certainly more time that it appears Congress spent remembering ANY overreach into education is illegal!
1) Start here, Warriors, it’s my most recent 40 minute video laying out the main Congressional Bills: House Concurred Resolution #128, HR 6470 and S 3158.
2) Then, take a couple of minutes and access my most recent article titled “Moving Along”. There, you’ll find the most well known US Government agencies with their claws in education.
3) To access the H Con Res 128, go here. What the most important items are from this Resolution is that all the FYs from 2019-2028 are laid out. You’ll also note that out of the 22 most important budget items, education is #10. It’s also lumped in with labor, jobs, and all social services. There’s a distinct reason for this.
4) Because education is lumped in with labor and social services, we need to note that most social services are headed up in the health and human services areas. Hence, the HR 6470 and S 3158. These sister bills cover ALL FY 2019 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. (*Note: Warriors are you seeing the theme here, that even Congress is relegating education to a back seat?) The most important items about HR 6470 and S 3158 are below. I urge you to comb through these on your own to see what else is in store.
a) Money being budgeted varies slightly from Chamber to Chamber in some cases, in most, both Chambers of Congress are in total agreement. (An example is that BOTH Bills seek to have $6 million dollars to ‘beef up’ and innovate the WQDI (Workforce Quality Data Initiative), but vary slightly on Title One funds via ESSA and HEA (Every Student Succeeds and the Higher Education Act). The House wants $16.4 billion and the Senate wants $16.5 billion.)
b) HR 6470 is 194 pages and is on the Union Calendar for Congress as Item #667. S 3158 is 172 pages and is on the Senate Calendar as Item #497. The ‘Union’ calendar means that HR 6470 (and any other House bill with a Union Calendar #) was passed out of its Committee (in this case the Committee for Funding Labor, HHS, Ed, and their Related Agencies) and is waiting further action. The ‘Senate’ calendar means that whatever item is marked there, it needs Senate action on from the entire floor. A General Order (some of the Senate FY 2019 bills have this) note means the order in which the item was received.
c) Both HR 6470 and S 3158 have Committee Reports. As important as combing through the main bills are, these Reports are MUCH more revealing as to exactly where and HOW the funds will be spent IF APPROVED in the Final FY 2019 Budget. Here’s Committee Report 115-862from the House. The see the Senate Committee Report 115-289, go here. d) Both HR 6470 and S 3158 have money earmarked to expand CTE (Career Tech Education) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) Apprenticeships. The House wants to spend $150 million in expansion and the Senate, $160 million. As we know, Warriors, the President recently signed into law a nation-wide expansion for CTE and apprenticeships, as well as created a new EO (Executive Order) to create an expansion of government in overseeing apprenticeships. This also plays right into a previous President Trump EO to expand apprenticeships. You can read all about all of these EOs and the new law, here.
e) Also look for Community Development Block Grants, Head Start, Early Head Start, Social Services, Mental Health, Biomedical, Biotechnology, YouthBuild, TRIO, GEAR UP, any technical or infrastructure upgrades or assistance, or the many instances for national data collection (for example, near pages 68-70 of both HR 6470 and S 3158, you’ll see millions set aside for collecting mental health data from children.
f) Beginning on Page 113 (Page 115 in the Senate) in the House bill, you’ll see the ESSA breakdown for the huge amounts of taxpayer funds being sought. However, read carefully, Warriors, it is in this section (and others throughout all the Budget bills I’ve been reading) that an increase in funding from P3s (public private partnerships) will be HOW the federal government funds our nation’s agencies AND programs! These funds will come by donation, be awarded as either competitive or non-competitive grants and/or sub-grants. These ‘awards’ will also be available to non-profit groups. All in the name of ‘student success’.
5) HR 5894 (Union Calendar #539) is only 42 pages long and is what the House wants to see funding in FY 2109 for the entire Legislative Branch of the government. The tie to education can be found on page 26 via the Library of Congress’s $8.5 million for curriculum. (*Note: this bill has a Committee Report you’ll want to read.) S 3071 (Calendar #450) is 34 pages long. It has a VERYrevealingCommittee Report where you’ll see the CCSS Machine woven throughout. S 3071 also covers the FY 2019 Legislative Budget. One of the ties to education in the Senate Committee Report can be found on Page 16 with the Dept of Treasury’s Community Development Finance grants. Warriors, you’ll see that these grants can also be investments or loans. With ESSA’s mandate and funding increase to create 21st Century Community Learning Centers, this is a big red flag!
6) Warriors, these remaining bills cover most of the federal agencies with education overreach as well. Their ties to where in education will be in blue.
HR6258 and S 3107 cover Financial Services/General Gov’t. (*Note S 3107 has a detailedCommittee Report.) DC school improvement grants and the National Science Technology Council HR5952 and S 3072 cover Commerce/Justice/Science/Related Agencies (*Note: S 3072 has an accompanying Committee Report. The House’s Committee Report is here.) Economic development, census data collection, scientific research and information sharing technology. Ties to CCR (College/Career Readiness, STEM, the United Nations and CTE) HR 6072 and S 3023 cover Transportation/HUD/Related Agencies (*Note: the House CommitteeReport/Senate’s) Sustainable neighborhoods (of which you can probably tie to Promise Neighborhoods of ESSA), ties to the HEA (Higher Education Act), businesses testing higher education, national data collection, gives the Secretaries of Ed, Labor, HHS, Transportation, Commerce, the EPA, and the Attorney General leverage. HR 6157 and S 3159 cover the U. S. Dept of Defense (*Note: HR 6157 is currently in the Senate, as it has passed the House’s voting system. The Committee Report for HR 6157 is here. You can find the Senate’s here.) Gives more power to the Secretary of Education and LEAs (Local Education Agencies, at US Ed’s direction, over military base schools, targets Veterans and higher education, data mining, and data banks. HR 5961 and S 2976 cover Agriculture/Rural Activities/FDA/Related Agencies (*Note: House Committee Report/Senate’s) Specifically refers to a national Bio/Ag Facility in KS, the Borlang International project, Food for Peace Grants, 12 education references, 10 science/technology priorities, and on Page 64 of HR 5961, portions of the budget must be used for science based educational information on the environment (this will lead to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals of the UN and STEM). S 3073 covers Interior/Environment/Related Agencies (*Note: The Committee Report) Education, especially as it relates to the Bureau of Indian Education’s alignment, is referred to in 31 different instances. HR 6147 covers Interior/Environment/General Gov’t/Agriculture/Rural Development/Food and Drug/Transportation and HUD (*Note: This Bill has passed both the House and the Senate. The House Committee Report is here. I’m including the plethora of amendment actions from both Chambers of Congress, as well.) Education is embedded a total of 65 times, Science (and as it relates to STEM in the various federal agencies) is embedded 22 times. HR 5786 and S 3024 cover Military Construction/Veteran Affairs and Related Agencies (*Note: House Committee Report/Senate’s) Regional data collection, in the House Committee Report, education is embedded 24 times. S 2975 covers Energy/Water Development (*Note: this Bill is sponsored by Sen. Lamar Alexander, father of ESSA lies about local control in education. The Senate Committee Report is here.) Specific use of funds for educational purposes. HR 6385 and S 3108 cover State/Foreign Operations and Related Agencies (*Note: House Committee Report/Senate’s) In the House bill pages 3 and 4 cite the United States Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948; Fulbright Scholar program, and at least 34 other educational references embedded throughout. The Senate’s bill has 40 education overreaches.
Warriors, please note that in H Con Res 128, the 22 prioritized agencies have until Sept. 14, 2018 to trim their budgets. You can find the figures beginning on Page 44. For example, the Committee on Education, Job Training, Employment, and, Social Services must reduce their assigned $90 billion down to $70 billion.
In the Senate Committee Report related to S 3107, the following programs or offices are overreaching into education or items directly related to education services: The U.S. Treasury’s Capital Investment Plan, cyber-security, financial literacy, DATA Act, Government Accounting Office, The IRS’s TIGTA program, taxpayer data tracking, IRS’s Future State Vision, US Mint’s Community Development Financial Inst. Fund, Drug-Free Communities Support Program (ties to the Office of National Drug control Policy which partners with the US HHS’s Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Admin. in grants schools money), FCC’s IT Reform plans, Tech Modernization Funds, Harry S Truman Scholarship Funds
In the House Committee Report related to H 6147, the following programs or offices are overreaching into education or any directly related service: National Foundation of the Arts, the National Holocaust Museum (federally funded EXCEPT all educational materials which are privately funded), 21st Century Conservation Service Corps, National Endowment of the Arts/Humanities, Federal Land acquisitions to tie to World Heritage Sites, 3D Earn and Empower Program, Water Research Act, Core Science Systems Supports, Community Development Block Grants, BIE programs to align PreK to adult among the Native Americans, EPA’s expansion into STEM, Regional Innovation Clusters, and the Smithsonian’s expansion of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and, Math).
Warriors, look for an update article in mid September about all this. In the meantime, raise your voices against the continued abuse of our taxpayer funds, the overreach into education, our privacy, and all that connects them. This is NOT our American vision!
My fellow Anti Fed Ed Warriors, here’s the latest agenda filled system behind AP World History.
Warriors, you know I’ve held nothing back in exposing that ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is impacting (in real time) EVERY school choice.
It absorbedAP (Advanced Placement) courses into the mandates for aligned education. Also, IB (International Baccalaureate) Schools.
You also know that IB Schools are UN (United Nations) breeding grounds for globalism and collectivism. (*Note: early in my blogging days, this resource filled article.)
At one time AP courses were truly ‘advanced’. At one time the credits and scores your student earned actually meant ‘honor’.
However, these courses and tests went the way of the wind when they were aligned to the CCSS Machine.
Now, AP Courses are just as empty as the rest of the CCSS aligned (or whatever label your State has re-branded CC to) ‘curriculum’ and assessments.
I know you’ve seen the decrease in quality. I’ve watched it over the past few years. Especially in private and homeschooling. I’ve also seen how the public schools have used AP as a sort of ‘dividing line’ among students. Truly sickening.
Where AP and the UN Meet:
Warriors, simply put, World History.
In this teacher led instructional video, she openly tells the students that she’ll be away for 2 days attending the UN Model Club Conference. She’s leaving them an assignment to watch a documentary and then complete the SPICE chart. What’s a SPICE chart?
Before I share what each letter stands for, look at the simplicity of this chart:
Why all the detail and fuss for such a simple chart? Why not let kids take notes in a way which makes sense to them? If these students are truly ‘advanced’ shouldn’t they be able to figure this out for themselves? And finally, why let the computer guide them?
The Meaning Behind SPICE, Agenda Dressed In Education:
“S” stands for ‘Social’ and includes class structures, social mobility and barriers, gender roles and relations, family and kinship, racial and ethnic constructs, urbanization, and, freedoms/rights. “P” stands for ‘Political’ and includes government and leadership, nations and nationalism, revolts and revolutions, conflict and war, legal and court systems, regional/trans-regional/global, and, structure/organization. “I” stands for ‘Interacting with the Environment’ and covers demography, disease, migration, natural resources, settlement patterns, impact of natural barriers, flora/fauna/climate, and technology. “C” stands for ‘Cultural’ and covers religions/beliefs/ideologies, language, writing, art/architecture, clothing/food/music, education, science/technology, and nationalism. “E” stands for ‘Economic’ and entails material wealth, production (agricultural and pastoral), distribution (trade and commerce), labor systems, industrialization, wealth distribution, and banks/currency.
However, Warriors, look at how this OH teacher’s blog highlights each letter of SPICE.
Do you see what he is choosing to put at the top of the list for “Social”? The UN also has a ‘gender agenda’, its SDG #5. (*Note: SDG is short for Sustainable Development Goal)
To see how the CCSS Machine uses gender as a ‘change agent’, read this.
Warriors, the UN actively recognizes America as a ‘nation-state’ or as a ‘member-state’.
Many of the UN’s SDGs center on environment. To the point environment is more important than people.
Notice how this theme centers on a dominant belief system? Notice how science and technology are also present? You can trace the science/technology all through STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) and the SDGs. STEM is a tool created by the UN to implement the SDGs.
This next SPICE video from You Tube reveals a broader agenda in AP World History. Flip Learning (where all individual school work is completed at home and all collaborative work is completed in class) is what this one teacher is saying has been proven to be more effective than traditional school work. Warriors, this is all but eliminating ALL individual work in class.
While that’s a wake-up call on its own, it’s the teacher’s leading the students on how to decipher a picture they are seeing which is even more awakening. Why? She coaches them by telling them when we don’t know things we can be uncomfortable about them. However, by using this SPICE system, as they know more the students will feel more comfortable about the world around them. This teacher also guides the students thinking by telling them nothing happens in a vacuum/that everything interconnects.
Warriors, just how does the AP coursework intersect with Model UN Clubs? From 2014, this NC high school used the two to from a ‘joint crisis committee’.
Here’s another example of how AP is steering kids to see the UN’s global continuity and tie it to which of our U.S. Presidents was most supportive. Compare what you read here with the SPICE information. Do you see the connections?!
In 2016, I showed you how the UN Model Clubs were impacting homeschoolers (as do AP courses). Earlier this year, I showed you more about the march for global citizens and gave you more information on education as that ‘change agent’.
While McGraw-Hill isn’t the copyright owner of AP, it has an entire catalog of AP ‘electives’. World History is among them. You’ll see how the current AP courses align to C3 (College/Career/Civic Life) as well as NGSS (Next Gen Science Standards). The UN can be found in C3 and NGSS.
AP Summer Time:
For students during the summer, the CCSS aligned AP courses keep going! This AP Summer Institute at one NC university campus this year is just an example. See below:
To see how the State of NC gives these AP Summer scholarships, go here. Note that when you scroll all the way down the screen you’ll find out the partner for these scholarships is the NC State Board of Education. So, in other words, the AP summer institutes are taxpayer funded!
Now, Warriors, I know your State will have AP courses as well, so be looking for those summer camps! If you want to see how AP students are data raped to provide your State with ‘information’ that can be ‘celebrated’, go here.
Let’s not forget, The National Reviewshowed the leftist approach from College Board to support the UN’s activities back in 2014.
Warriors, as far as who created the SPICE chart system, it doesn’t really matter. What does, is that the AP courses and assessments have increased their amount of collectivism.
This is infecting ALL education choices. Do we want to be a free America or a controlled one?
(*Personal Note: I’ll be traveling to CT to appear at a Parents Rights Rally there. If you can make it to Hartford, we need you! I’ll use my @commoncorediva (Twitter) account to update you all.)
Spring has sprung in DC, alright. If you’ve been following my anti Fed Ed/global research information long, you are fully aware of the activities from Washington which have locked in the shift from academics to workforce.
So, my fellow Anti Fed Ed Warriors, what’s in fashion for Spring 2018 in the CCSS Machine’s line of education/workforce reform? Well, apparently dressing up the reform in spring colors. I guess that way it looks a bit more fashionable..and less conforming.
Ahh, Warriors, isn’t it so pretty?! ‘Streamlined and straight jacketed’ just for our American taxpayers!
If you are not sure what PROSPER is, it is the U.S. House of Representative’s version of what the 1965 HEA (Higher Education Act) should be transformed into.
“PROSPER” stands for ‘Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and, Opportunity through Education Reform’. It’s HR 4508, it’s key sponsor? Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC) who just happens to be the Chairwoman for the U.S. House of Representatives’ Education and Workforce Committee.
Her ‘design concept’ on all education?
As far as the ‘quality’ education in the CCSS Machine, you’ll find more worthiness in what lines the chicken coop floor than you will what’s being fashioned for higher education! Be it in the House OR the Senate.
Either version of the upcoming HEA Re-authorization (PROSPER Act or the Higher Education Innovation Act) will increase the conformity in the education reform. It will tie K-12 students (in all choices) to the CCSS Machine’s workforce standards in higher education. Either will increase the amount of ‘student data rape’ needed to feed the global workforce.
Warriors, we might as well as hand out these Brazilian kid-sized straight jackets for school uniforms and/or diplomas!
(*Note: The Brazilian show, Super Nanny created and used this (and other control toys) to spike viewership and point out there’s a better way out there to have a happy family. Source; see how successful the campaign worked by watching the roughly 2 minutes of video.)
In a similar context, we, as those opposed to federal control of education at any age, know that conformed, straight-jacketed workforce education is NOT the better way.
Ed/Work Thinks We Missed Some Things:
Yes, Warriors, the House’s Ed and Workforce Committee must assume we, as taxpayers. are totally clueless. Just last week the Committee published a blog article to show us what we may of missed about PROSPER. In their article, it was revealed that We the People might of ‘missed’ how great PROSPER will be in 3 areas. a) grading and assessing ALL higher education institutions, not just the ‘for profit’ (proprietary) ones. b) how student debt and tuition can be decreased. c) how the taxpayers lose out when student debt is high.
While it IS true that student debt and tuition are at ridiculously high levels, the obvious is MISSED by Ed/Workforce, not, We the People! How?! Get the government out of the student loan business, Duh! The government hoarding of student loans is awful.
It ramps up the ‘student data rape’while it controls who can and cannot go to college. The ‘student data rape’ happens every single time a Career Tech Education, Career Track, or Career Pathway, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) course is taken. (there are several other names like “Future Ready”, “College and Career Readiness, etc.) Be it in middle school, high school, extra curricular classes, dual enrollment, early college, and others.
The data is used against your student (or yourself if you are going back to school) to pigeon hole you to a prescribed course to pursue. Tying ‘success’ in any education choice BEFORE college is used to tie it to your student FAFSA (which is now mandatory to complete in some States). FAFSA has been re-written to ‘data rape’ families.
Warriors, by controlling both the money AND the education, a dangerous trap is being set for Americans. The CCSS Machine is seriously spinning all this as ‘making America better’ or increasing the job market. Which leads to economic gains. However, as we’ve learned, who really loses?! The citizens! They loose their freedom to choose what they wish to live, work, and, how to contribute to society. Citizens also loose when they are continually forced to pick up the bill for ‘free community college’.
The federal government has long been trying to instill a ‘nanny state’. ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) completed much of this type of alignment. How? It tied not only the WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)‘education’ standards to K-12, it opened the door for birth to 1st in setting up workforce tracks. Don’t you remember Arne Duncan’s words about looking at the 2nd graders and knowing where they’d end up?!
By ‘grading’ and assessing all higher education institutions, you’ll also seeing a big CCSS Machine spin on reality. Warriors, remember when ESSA stated that ALL education must be aligned to post-secondary readiness standards? Well, you have to align those post-secondary institutions! The ‘best’ way to force conformity?! Funding!
No, Warriors, I do not thing we ‘missed’ anything about PROSPER. I think we totally ‘get it’. D.C. is so far entrenched with lies about their role in education, they have deceived themselves in this case.
As far as this Spring 2018 fashionable makeover for selling “PROSPER”, my advice is to skip it. No one needs springtime straight jackets. Quality education cannot be found in D.C., my followers. When it comes to ‘makeovers’ in education, D.C.’s a ‘knock off’.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we were last together, I left you with the fact that in the coming days I’d dive into more federal level legislation which is actually setting our nation up to fail in massive ways. Most especially our citizens when it comes to their education…at EVERY level.
If you missed just how badly the Congressional ‘provisions‘ for higher education will fail our students, I encourage you to find out about HR 2859.
If you’ve not heard of HR 3199, it’s very similar to HR 2859. It also amends the HEA (Higher Education Act), it also will fast-track and data rape students in post-secondary education. It also uses CBE (Competency Based Education) which over-assesses students to the point of utter frustration.
However, HR 3199 targets those who are disabled and/or have special needs.
I wrote about this absolutely horrible bill back in late 2017. I urge you, to re-read it.
Over in the Senate? Oh, they’ve been busy too, coming up with ways to ‘amend’ the HEA for ‘quality’ and ‘provisions’.
S 2342, Innovation Zone Act:
Currently, this Bill is sitting in the Senate’s HELP Committee. S 2342, would literally use your student’s ‘higher education success’ as as experiment (voluntary, of course) in ‘statutory and regulatory flexibility’. Warriors, that’s double speak for: Data mining, increasing how much information your student retains, reducing debt connected to higher education, as well as, placing all the power to choose/conduct/assess these experiments at the feet of Sec. DeVos.
Which schools will she choose? That depends on which post-secondary schools volunteer. “Bonuses” will be given to any school which wishes to ‘fast track’ their cooperation.
Anywhere between 5 and 100 schools will be all that are needed to carry out this 10 year experiment. The IES (Institute of Educational Sciences) will also be in on all the data tracking (aka ‘student data rape’) going on.
P3s( public private partnerships) which come with ‘innovation’ and data mining will be allowed to be involved in the experimentation using OUR citizens! On Page 2, lines 20 and 21, are most concerning in the amount of gray area is given to what else will be included in this experiment. Basically, any‘innovation’ U.S. Dept. of Education chooses which will ‘benefit’ your student.
What else? Any school in this experiment will become known as an ‘innovation zone’.
Warriors, we’re seeing how Congress is using the word ‘innovation’ against us in K-12th grades, do we really trust them when our kids are adults?!
(*Note: in the current Senate version of the re-authorization for HEA, S 615 (Higher Education Innovation Act), you will be able to see how the word is a cruel deceptive word used intentionally.)
Warriors, again, a pausing moment. I am NOT trying to be the doomsday alarmist in the War Vs the Core. We KNOW we cannot take these federal bills at their word. Deception run amuck is what is happening.
When D.C. leaves a ‘gray’ area, we SHOULD be demanding answers! When the CCSS Machine helps create these bills using our kids as experiments AND gives the Secretary of Education a HUGE increase in power over them, we SHOULD be storming D.C.!
Also giving DeVos another boost in power is HR 2590(Computer Science for All Act). My article on HR 2590 will show you more, but note that via this bill, DeVos is to award grants throughout K-12th grade education for as much computer indoctrination as possible. “Computer Science for All” was an Obama-era White House created initiative which has since been codified in ESSA. (Source) (*Note: my 2017 article exposing the CCSS Machine’s effort to glorify the ‘father of computer science’ will give you lots of related background information.)
HR 3636 and S 1694, “Educator Preparatory Reform Act”:
Warriors, these ‘sisters’ will also go hand in hand with the student abuse. When you think about it, they have to. As we’ve been told by the CCSS Machine guru, Bill Gates, the assessments drive the curriculum. Well, the curriculum AND assessments drive the teachers!
If you’ve not seen the article I wrote on how abusive ESSA’s language to teachers (concerning their pay) is, please take a few minutes to review it.
So, what do HR 3636 and S 1694 have in common?
a) Both were introduced in August 2017.
b) Both sit in their respective Committees (3636 is in the Education and Workforce; 1694 is in the HELP).
c) Both are 52 pages long.
d) Both amend the HEA.
e) Both appear to be carbon copies of each other. I’ll highlight a few items from each Bill below.
S 1694 broadens the definition of ‘educator’. While ‘teacher’ is included, basically anyone who could be leading your student in the classroom (or across the campus) will have the ‘educator’ label. Warriors, by redefining who is able to educate this opens the door for all kinds of trouble. (*Note, the embedded link to my article laying out how ESSA’s doing this, click on ‘pay’, above.)
Also in S 1694 will be data mining from formative and summative assessments from the students K-12th grade education. The data will be carried through in post-secondary education as well as the same national, state, and, local assessments. Warriors, this will tie back to Title One funding. It’ll also tie back to Perkins funding (which feeds the CTE, Career Tech Education arm of the CCSS Machine).
HR 3636 will show you the sections of the HEA which will be redesignated, especially for teachers. This is just before the same redefining of who qualifies as an educator. On Pages 7 and 8, you’ll need to see what the principals will now be responsible for in your communities. (Warriors, is it only me, or did you notice that a Bill for amending HEA is addressing K-12 principals?)
Also from HR 3636, you’ll see how the teacher training is heavily dependent on their assessments. This will also be part of Title 2 funding. This, of course, opens the flood gates for the CCSS Machine’s P3s (public private partnerships) in PD (professional development), Warriors. We’ve seen this happen quite heavily in K-12th education, as well as post-secondary for a while now. (*Note: in case you missed my latest article about this type of alignment, go here.)
Warriors, because these two Bills will impact every single type of post-secondary educator, we MUST alert our fellow Warriors; our family members or friends who are among this particular group, and, our leaders.
As far as ‘quality’, I see none in any of these Bills.
In my next article, Warriors, I’ll show some more federal education legislation and the continued farce-worthy leadership being exerted against We the People.
Warriors, some of the information is very recent, some is dated. Use the dated information as background so you can see the overall agenda. As we have seen time and time again, compliance and alignment are the goals. I must highlight that many of the pieces you see below deal with birth to middle school, the high school students are just as targeted. Parents of teens, contact me, please! We need evidence to help protect our children of all ages!!
A Dated Piece Which Laid A Foundation For Now:
From Anita Hoge’s testimony before the National Information Infrastructure, (1994), this screen shot of Page 2:
According to Mrs. Hoge this was part of the original “HillaryCare” which was struck down. From Mrs. Hoge’s research, she’s been able to tie together the system that’s taken years to be in place.
This is done so in-school health-care like the Health-e-Schools are allowed to exist.
Parents and Warriors, once your child is coded for health reasons, especially mental health. Specific types of codes then follow the student for the rest of their lives.
Consider what this will mean for those P3s (public private partnerships), they’ll be chomping at the bit to get their hands of school funding. How? State Medicaid reimbursements.
Your school gets these funds from Title One funding..ie: your taxpayer dollars! Another ‘free money’ pool for schools was revealed in late 2016 here on my blog. The E-Rate fundingschools receive. Since the Health-e-Schools use technology, this will certainly be money to be fought over.
*Warriors, use this foundation for what’s below. You should be able to see the connections.*
Warriors, in the Meadows 2016 Annual Report, (74 pages) education is cited 72 times! Schools? Forty-two times. The main reference is the one connected to the Zero to Five Funders.Zero to Fiveis full of mental and education programs. Here’s another screen shot from the Meadows Foundation:
Source, Page 42.(*Note: there are several other CCSS Machine supporting efforts in education by this Foundation. The highlighted link is to their Education Plan.)
Warriors, you’re probably wondering “Okay, Lynne, but WHERE is the link between telemedicine and the Meadows Foundation?” Look below:
Source for this screen shot will be on Page 85 of this Google Book results. Warriors, NASA (as in the government organization sending rockets into space and is a CCSS Machinemember) was also cited as a source on page 85.
Evidence From NC:
The brave NC grandma who shared her evidence with me about Health-e-Schools (telemedicine) in school, got me to wondering if there are several laws already on the books. Here’s what I found:
In 2013, HB 704 was created to encourage the use of telemedicine. Notice the first box allows the ‘consulting’ site; to be anyway the health care provider is. The second box encompasses mental health and substance abuse (including diagnosis AND treatment). The third box actually reveals telemedical patients have limits.
Warriors, HB 704 passed the House (117-0), crossed over to the Senate, passed its first vote and was referred to a Senate Committee. It didn’t become law at that time.
However, earlier this year (2017) a bill very SIMILAR was made into law. HB 283 became Session Law 133. The NC Dept. of Health and Human Services had an accompanying Study for the General Assembly in relation to HB 283. The Study cites the National Council of State Legislators (NCSL) as a credible resource.
Warriors, the NCSL was one of the groups personally thanked by Sen. Lamar Alexander when ESSA was passed and signed into law!
Also cited in the NC Dept. of HHS’s report to the General Assembly was the 2016 Fifty State Policy Guide for Telemedicine. TheGuideincludes how this ties to Medicaid. This will be an excellent tool to trace the data mining trail, Warriors!
Evidence From Colorado:
In early childhood, see the visual for expected outcome of each student:
*Warriors, be sure to access the source. In it you’ll see the wrap around services for the family, including ‘equity’ (one of the equity highlights is ‘how far apart to space the birth of your children’.).
Also, from CO, is an Early Childhood Provider Form. This form harvests much more than the basic information. In this particular case, a source who must remain protected, warns that with this type of form two things happen, a) it targets low-income students and families and b) if the forms are NOT filled out after the first few visits to the provider, any mental health services (under Medicaid) will be discontinued. In other words, Warriors, no completed form, no mental health treatments.
In Oct. 2017, Colorado hosted a mental health webinar. Below is a screen shot of it. Notice I highlight Dr. Riggs for you.
Warriors, Dr. Riggs has two papers he’s cited in. The first one is from 2006, the second is the 2015 one. The 2015 Document is featured on the National Institute of Health’s archives.
Evidence From Pennsylvania:
In PA, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is among those cited in a Plan for increased technology wherever medicine is used (means schools, too!) (*Note: in the PA Plan, look for HIT funds (Health Information Technology), I laid out for you what those are in the original article. You’ll also find the American Academy of Pediatrics in the Plan.)
**By the way, Warriors, the Robert W. Johnson Foundation has an entire section of their website devoted to SEL (Social Emotional Learning). SEL is woven all through ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). SEL also plays right into the mental health coding.
In 2015, I shared with you an article where the Robert W. Johnson Foundation was helping cement the birth to adult track through an initiative which builds “Living Cities”.
Various Other Evidence and Links:
Warriors, below are various related links shared on this topic of telemedicine. Use them for more research in your State:
1) Robots sitting in for sick students.
2) From the CHCS, Inc (Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc). Telemental Care Management.
3) From the archives of the President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health Library, the 2003 Document outlining the 6 Goals of innovated mental health.
4) From the ATA (American Telemedicine Association), a visual of their 5 Year Strategy Plan . To see the ATA/Senate article, go here.
5) From CASEL, their 2011, SEL Guide to encompassing schools into managing health care.
6) My look the biometrics and the CCSS Machine’s influence in education.
Warriors, as you can see, quite a flood gate was opened when Grandma shared her information. Again, keep it coming. I’ve already been contacted by a very concerned education case worker who says there are things we CAN do to help protect the kids.
In the meantime, look into your school district for ANY of the items you’ve seen in the original article or this follow up.
Read Dr. Karen Effrem’s article and contact D.C.
If you’ve not seen or heard of the latest data grab for our children, be sure to see what’s just be introduced by sell out Rep. Ryan. HR 4174 is nothing more than a thin veil of data mining madness.
Watch for HR 3922 known as the CHAMPION Act. This one expands health care activities and locations. Also, how does the late 2016 passage into law of the 21st Century Cures Act impact a school based health care activity (‘telemedicine’ is embedded twice; ‘school’, 18 times. Section 14010 deals with school mental health crisis intervention teams)?
My Fellow Anti Fed Ed Warriors, have you ever heard of BARDA? I’ll be honest, I hadn’t. However, in looking at the Congressional Appropriations Bills (HR 3358 and S 1771) for the U.S. Depts. of Labor/Health and Human Service/Education, I discovered BARDA. Specifically, the ‘new-to-my-research’ agency was written into the S 1771’s Bill.
On Page 96, you’ll find under the heading of ‘Transfer of Funds‘ for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, directives for where the NIH (National Institute of Health, a part of the HHS) could use some of the funds. Warriors, remember, these funds are our taxpayer dollars.
On Page 97, is where BARDA first shows up. “BARDA” stands for ‘Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority’.
To access the Public Health Service Act, click here.
BARDA is part of the nation’s PHE System. PHE means Public Health Emergency.
We’ll look at the BARDA funding and research project near the close of this article. For now, we need to see how, if, at all BARDA plays into the CCSS Machine’s overreach in education.
Warriors, with the word ‘biometrics’, is there more BARDA does than simply prepare us for the worst scenarios? We know ‘biometric’ devices are used to monitor the SEL (social emotional learning) and have been tied to Common Core.
Now that ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is the law, will biometrics continue to be used? Back in March 2017, I published an article about some (then) current Congressional Bills. Related to them? A 2011 biometric study! Be sure to access this more recent article about the SEL and special needs students via ESSA.
When I typed in ‘Social Emotional Learning’ into the PHE’s BARDA search bar, what you see below, is what I got back in results.
Warriors, please note I am NOT saying we do not need emergency plans, especially in our schools. BUT, my question is simply this, where does the emergency planning end and the SEL manipulation begin?
Warriors, some of the ‘red flags’ I saw in the highlighted resource in the screen shot above were: all States have behavioral health partners/plans. The plans are to cover emergencies, the partnerships go a bit deeper than ’emergencies only’. Some of these partners happen to be some of the very same ones which have rubbed stamped Common Core, support STEM, have Career Tech Education, or, are CCSS Machine member organizations in on approving the SEL overreach in education!
You can access the 2016 document, here. (*Note: back in 2014, I wrote how SAMSHA was using Common Core as a tool for gun control via “Project Aware”; in 2015, this article about mental health and the manipulation of it in education for workforce needs. Then, in 2016, this article gives you a big run down of the federal level of overreach in not only mental health with agencies like SAMSHA, but many others!)
In the 2016 Document (above), look for the bottom of Page 14, ‘federal behavioral health support usually involves the provision of technical assistance, educational resources..’ (‘technical assistance’, more times than not, means data mining in some form)
Page 15, an inter-agency council for behavioral health: Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Emergencies. This Forum is a P3 (Public Private Partnership). It’s been around since 2007.
SAMSHA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration), Red Cross, (Red Cross is mentioned on Page 16 and others.) Here’s a screen shot of Page 16 with emphasis added:
Below, are related documents from each of the major groups listed in the screen shot tie directly to ESSA, SEL, and/or behavior interventions OUTSIDE of disasters or emergencies!
Also from the APA is the 2017 Annual meeting syllabus. “School” is mentioned 57 times in the topics/presentation notes. I noticed at least 2 on ADHD.
To get to the Skinner referring article(s) from the APA, go here first (this is a research paper on a study of behavior interventions tested on college students), then visit here. (this is one of the few cited sources from the study on college students. It’s where Skinner’s education theory is mentioned.)
Also from the NASW, an entire page of ‘school’ related social work information for you, Warriors.
Answer #6) To access the Behavior Health Consortium (in the screen shot above), go here.
Answer #7) The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Press’s Disaster Publication has all kinds of partnerships and programs which you may find interesting.
Answer #8)Warriors, we know the educational shift is all about money, so do not be too shocked when you see the picture below:
Access the article where this screen shot is from.
Getting back to BARDA:
This 2014 article likens BARDA to a venture capital group hidden in DC. Warriors, we know how toxic venture capitalists have been in education. Where health and education intersect is probably just as bad.
As far as the 10 year contract mentioned in S 1771 for BARDA? It appears that is a continuation of a project which began back during President Bush’s (the first) administration. It’s known as Project BioShield, (PB).
From the Strategic Plan (2011-2016) for PB, an increase in public private partnerships(P3s); 21st Century skills; a workforce steeped in science and technology (which of course means STEM education and STEM jobs); and, all which connects them.
Warriors, the PB price tag is in the billions. (*Note: refer to the highlighted “Bush” above. When that document opens, look to your right for ‘funding’).
Two resources for more about Project BioShield can be accessed here. Johns Hopkins (a known CCSS Machine member) and Oxford Press have articles.
STEM Endorsed by PHE:
Warriors, remember that BARDA is under the Public Health Emergency(PHE) arm of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services. I was able to find on the PHE’s blog, not only an endorsement for early emergency preparation by studying STEM in 2017, but how the PHE is working in the context of a 17 year (began 2009) partnership for global health.
As we know from research, global health is part of the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). STEM is a part of the SDGs, as well as part of the CCSS Machine.
Warriors, S 1771 and its partner Bill HR 3358 lock in all the funds for things like BARDA and more educational overreach on 10/7/17. The LAST day to raise any challenge is 10/6/17. IF you’ve not contacted your Senator or Representative about the massive amounts of overreaching taxpayer-abused-funds. Please hurry!
Greetings fellow Anti Fed Ed Warriors! September 2017 is upon us.
Look below. What you see is actual evidence from a concerned Mom from the Raleigh, NC area. She’s been with me, fighting the CCSS Machine in NC, for quite a while now.
This is the front page of the letter received by the concerned parent.
Warriors, take note of the fine print, Harvard University Research is to receive this personal information. Harvard’s located in MA, not NC! Why is an NC school district farming personal information and data to an Ivy League School?
Next, is the middle page of the letter that was sent home.
This form, as you can see is in the event you have more than one child in the same school system.
Below, is the back page of the letter received.
Warriors, from the appearance of this part of the letter, all the data issues seem to be ‘not a big deal’, but as we know, all is never as it seems when it comes to our child’s personal information OR their school data.
To complete the guise of ‘friendly’ research data gathering, the folks behind the Wake County School System and the Harvard team, even give you a postage-paid envelope to mail the letter in!
Warriors, I’ve repeatedly shown you have up to its neck in CCSS Machine business Harvard University has been over the course of my published blog.
From their partnership with Pearson Publishing to create the “Pathways to Prosperity”which in turn spur on the “Career Pathways” of the CCSS (Common Core State Standards), STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering, and, Math) and the CTE (Career Tech Education) alignment, as well as create a hotbed for social justice alignment. Then, there’s the micro-managementof school counselors with the co-operation of former President and First Lady Obama, which will impact students in K-12th and/or college, where the Harvard grab for adult learners goes into hyper-drive.
We can’t leave Harvard’s activity in the CCSS Machine there, Warriors. The University has played a big part in the Career Pathways transformation to CBE (Competency Based Education), right along with InACOL, the Gates Foundation, and others.
Oh, and if you didn’t know it,3rd grade students (and older) can thank Harvard for their undermining reading and writing for job skill training! The final blow to Harvard’s‘respected’ reputation, at least as far as an anti Fed Ed Warrior’s perspective goes, will be the global education push that Harvard pitches us into as part of the GECN (Global Education Conference Network).
Now they want us to TRUST them with sensitive school details?!
When you visit the website (embedded in ‘team’ above), you will see almost nothing. There’s very little wording. As far as the school districts using “My Student’s Team”? Three. One is Manchester Public Schools, another is Winsdor Public Schools. Wake is the only school system which is a county-wide one using the ‘friendly’ student support team.
Since I have no clue where Manchester and Windsor are located, I will use what information I do have. I hope wherever the Manchester and Winsdor parents are, the following information will be useful.
What does the Team do for the student? As it appears on the first page of the letter my fellow Warrior received, it looks like a non-family member contact for your student. But notice the wording. I’m going to give you full access to my student I’m interested in knowing more about permission to access his/her behavior records?!
I understand,Warriors, this is a research project with a rubber stamp, but rubber won’t keep data safe.
The letter states a team member should be one who’s interested in knowing more about a student who’s a) not a parent, b) not normally in contact with the school, and c) by the legal guardian! Warriors, do you see what I see?
STRANGER DANGER! We (meaning those who consent) are to readily and willingly hand over sensitive information to a nameless, faceless ‘team’ via the post office! By allowing these people I don’t know very well/don’t know at all because they live so far away, what am I really signing up for? Who will background check my choice of ‘support person’ for my student? Who is going to be looking into MY records? For what purpose?
From Raleigh, NC to Harvard, MA is over 700 miles. It also passes through several States, thereby crossing state lines. Is this safe? Is the submission of consent by this ‘non-parent’ giving FULL disclosure? Do those signing this paper realize that given consent means whoever or whatever group Harvard shares this information with will be deemed as ‘okay’ by you, under the current FERPA regulations?
Warriors, because FERPA was changed and large loopholes exist NOW, no agreement seeking your permission should be trusted as ‘safe’!
How do I know? Child Abuse in the Classroom has an entire section on the real truth about how unsafe FERPA is when it comes to private information. Because of the loopholes, you have NO clue who or where Harvard will share this data. Access the Child Abuse in the Classroom’s FERPA link, here.
(*Note: if you are ready to keep your student’s data safe, or, to see FERPA restored so that your child’s information IS safe, please join the grassroots national campaign called “Child Abuse in the Classroom” today!)
Harvard University, Wake County Schools, and SREE:
Warriors, how DIDWake County Schools get the attention of Harvard University to become an experimental research subject?
One connection I found was a 2016 Conference listed on Harvard University’s website where an official from the Wake Co. system was featured as a speaker. The Conference was one for SREE (Society for Research on Education Effectiveness). You’ll be interested to know that the CCSS Machine member organization, AIR was a main sponsor. (AIR is short from American Institutes for Research) Two of the SREE Board of Directors are Harvard University employees. AIR is also represented on the Board of Directors. According to the Gates Foundation Grants website, SREE has received 2 grants. Both were in 2013.
I’ve provided the full 29 page program from that Conference. Another huge CCSS Machine member group in attendance: WestEd.
However, it’s Matthew Lenard (green arrows) which is the name connecting the Wake County Schools to Harvard.
His resume is steeped in the CCSS Machine’s rhetoric. He’s held a position with SREB (Southern Regional Education Board) which has received funds from the Gates Foundation as well as other big name groups shoving the modern education reform down our throats. In fact, SREB is one of the main groups using CCSS Machine money and resources to push the agenda onto school leaders, especially the counselors! (*Note: the highlighted phrase will give you access to every one of my SREB researched articles)
According to his LinkedIn Profile, Lenard is with the Wake County Public School System as a data and accountability officer. Here’s a quote, ” I joined WCPSS through the Strategic Data Project (SDP), a initiative housed at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. SDP partners with districts, school networks, and state agencies across the U.S. to transform the use of data in education.”
Lenard is tapped for the SREE 2018 Conference, where a featured speaker from WestEd will lead the attendees down the data strewn path of student information.
Below, is a screen shot for the SDP (Strategic Data Project). Wake County’s been a partner since 2011. Gates Foundation grants to SDP: two, 1 in 2017 to the State of KY’s Dept. of Education for the data mining and one in 2012 directly to Harvard. Source

Related: This 2010 You Tube video features a woman from the IES speaking to an SREE audience about ‘practice guides’. Listen about the 1:14 minute mark when you’ll hear how behavior modification was almost casually mentioned. While the direct link in the comments to the video no longer exist, I did find some IES Practice Guides which may very well be the type of behavior modification the woman was referring to. In the modification plans? Multi-tier support and Response to Intervention. Both of these are ESSA mandates for our children.
From Harvard’s Center for Education PolicyResearch, this screen shot from a 2016SurveyReport.
Since we’re in the latter part of 2017, and this Report is still awaiting student data, where has the data been since collected? Warriors, do not only look at what we’re being told, but also ask about all the other details being left out on purpose! (*Note: by clicking on ‘Research’, you’ll be able to access the Harvard Center for Education Policy publications.)
Warriors, since we know ESSA’s mandates include assessments. Research like this will continue theassessment alignmentcycle going.
Warriors, we know the data mining is intrusive. We know it violates our civil rights.
My most recent NC interview where we talked about data in the classroom. (Sept. 3, 2017)
I thank the CCTA (Coast Carolina Taxpayers Assoc.) for inviting me. (*Note: I mistakenly used the amount of $89 million in reference to the ESSA funds set aside for digital and technology. It should be $849 million.)
