Pardon Me?!

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, there have been so many topics I’ve covered over the past few years about the terrible overreach into our kids’ lives. Some of these topics have made me very angry. Some have broken my heart. Today’s? ‘Incensed’ would be a fitting description.

What would possibly have me upset? Recently, there’s been some discussion over State led sex education, but what about sex education legislation in Congress? Is there such? Is this what is driving the States? Not so recent (2015), I gave you an in-depth look at how Title 9’s rewording helped open Pandora’s box for sex education in our States.

I’ll admit, I’m not the first to discuss the CCSS Machine’s misinformation and inappropriateness of sex education in the classrooms. We’ve also seen how after school programs include sex education have negatively left their mark on families across the nation. However, it’s time we see what the current group of Congressional members is up to when it comes to sex education.

Meet HR 3602 and S 1653, Real Education for Healthy Youth Act of 2017:

To read HR 3602 or S 1653, click on your choice. They are identical twin bills. While both have been in their Committee appointments since their introduction, we should note that these could become active at any time. In all the 34 pages of either Bill, you’ll see a thread of ‘school safety’ woven throughout. With the current events we are seeing focusing on ‘school safety’ we should be on notice. Why? ‘School safety’ encompasses a LARGE area of education.

Warriors, one more time (or in this case, twice), the ‘sense of Congress’ is used in laying out the parameters for sex education contained in HR 3602 and S 1653. Not to be too simple, but haven’t we suffered enough illegally based education overreach as a result of the ‘sense of Congress’ to last a lifetime?!

Excuse me, but “NO!”, Congress, I DO NOT want your ‘sense’ to mandate what Johnny and Suzy learn about sex. I think if you ask the majority of taxpayers, they would also say “No!”.

The Language For Sex Education:

Beginning on Page 4 of either Bill, here are the things every federally funded sex education program should have (or as it is written, ‘should aim for’):

a) Cover a wide range of sex topics (like human development, healthy relationships, personal skills, abstinence, preventing unwanted pregnancies, preventing sexual diseases, and sex in culture and society.)
b) How to have safe and healthy relationships
c) Promote gender equality
d) Use the best scientific resources available to teach A-C topics
e) Have everyone in education appropriate with gender identities, gender expressions, etc.
f) Use the best-practices approach for E
g) Will ‘evaluate’ effective sex education and expand the body of research used, as needed
h) Expand teacher preparation/training in comprehensive sex education
i) Build a stronger sex education program based off existing ones found from the SSA (Social Security Act) and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control)
j) Promote and uphold the students rights concerning their sexual choices

Warriors, we’re also told what federally funded sex education programs CANNOT contain. There are 8 items:
1) Withholding life saving or health-promoting information about any sexuality topic (including HIV)
2) Medically inaccurate or not effective
3) Promote gender or race stereotypes
4) Insensitive or non responsive to a youth’s sexual activities
5) Insensitive or disrespectful toward survivors of sexual harm
6) Insensitive towards youth of all needs (including physical, mental, or developmental) or abilities
7) Insensitive towards youth and their gender expression, identity, or sexual orientation
8) Doesn’t comply with ethical public health or medical imperatives.

Page 6 is where you’ll find the grant awards/details for receiving them for adolescent sex education. Over on Page 13, you’ll find the grant awards/details for receiving them for higher education. 

Among the details for those young students? 
From the bottom  of Page 8 to the top of Page 9:
“substantially incorporates elements of evidence-based sex education instruction; or 
(D) creates a demonstration project based on characteristics of effective programs.”

, remember, this is for children under the age of 21!

(*Note, Pages 9 – mid 13 lay out exactly what comprehensive sex education is. Please,  read these items for yourselves so you can get the full picture as to what students will learn and what people are to be involved.)

If you have a student (or are one) in higher education, including those who are earning a degree in education, the details begin mid Page 13 and extend to Page 20 (ends mid page). Warriors, these requirements are VERY concerning!

The Sex Ed Evaluation (aka ‘student data rape’):

Warriors, I’m embarrassed to share these next few items. I’m so upset that our taxpayer dollars even were used in conjunction to the making of these caveats of legislation.
However, if we are to fight the War Vs the Core, we need to know all the facts, not just the ones which are pleasing.

According to the section for evaluating comprehensive sex education (across the board), massive amounts of data will be needed. If ever the reality of the severity of ‘student data rape’ needs to be seen, it is within HR 3062 and S 1635, you’ll find it.

For starters, third party non profits will be contractually bound to conduct the evaluations and collect the data. Then, the collection must meet nationally set technology standards, use behavior science evaluation techniques, incorporate quasi-experimental designs for drawing conclusive results. (you can find the exact language on Page 21)

Oh, and student outcomes which are measured?! Number of hours for instruction of comprehensive sex education; the student’s growth, development, and relationship dynamics; how well the student can prevent unwanted pregnancy, sexual diseases; how well the student understands their sexual health; will the students be able to set goals, make decisions, communicate well, negotiate well; will the student be capable to have great interpersonal relationships and have healthy ones; can the student effectively use a condom, what was the age of their first sexual intercourse, what type of contraception or condom is being used, dating history, sexual harassment or attacks, and, last on the list?…. Academic performance!

As far as the public receiving this type of student information, it will be made available in 6 years and after the data has been shared everywhere it can be in DC. What will those third party contractors do with the data? Just guess, Warriors.

Closing:

Warriors,  this is not the first time the Real Education for Healthy Youth Act has been introduced, but it is the latest. According to the  Human Rights Campaign website, HR 3026 and S 1635 are not only much needed, but absolutely imperative to have as federal law. If you read the Human Rights Campaign article, notice the national and global groups which have been pressing for this type of federal law for a few years.

Future Lawyers addressed only the health aspect of the Real Education for Healthy Youth Act by summing it up that teen pregnancy in the US should drop. Not one word about the fact the Bills state that the U.S. Dept. of Education is also heavily involved.

Pardon me, Warriors, but the last folks who should be in charge of sex education is Congress or anyone in DC. They can’t handle their own sex lives without scandal, but, somehow we can trust they have our student’s best interests at heart?

Health + Education doesn’t equal as much learning as the CCSS Machine wants us to believe at any point in time. Health + Education DOES equal values, attitudes, and beliefs that ECHO federal government, NOT the family’s personal choices.

Do we need sex education? When appropriately conducted, yes! Do we need the federal government running it? Absolutely not!

Using ‘Crisis’ To Drive Agenda

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I do believe our current Congress has reached an all-time low with the pair of federal derived education bills, S 1421 and HR 3828.

Both are titled the Patsy T. Mink Gender Equity in Education Act. Both claim the purpose of the legislation is to protect citizens from sexual inequality. But, what if, hidden in plain sight of these 2 bills is an agenda for aligned education? The savior for protecting us? STEM (as in Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math)!!

Personal note: I am in no way advocating sexual inequality nor do I promote sexual harassment. However, if we are to have important legislation protecting our citizens could we POSSIBLY leave the UN’s (and CCSS Machine’s) STEM out of it?!

The Lady:

Warriors, if you are not sure who Patsy T. Mink was, she was a very important leader from HI. She is basically the mother of Title 9. When Title 9 was much younger, it was created so that women and girls would have equal access to sports.
It’s only been in recent years that Title 9 has been reworded to NOW cover anyone who feels sexually left out of education.

Mrs. Mink was also key in President Johnson’s Great Society legislative campaign. She served twice on the U.S. House’s Education and Workforce Committee, helped begin Head Start and, so much more. (*Note: it was President Johnson who ‘gave’ us the original ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) now ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)

Sadly, though, Warriors, Head Start has been CCSS aligned for a while. The Education and Workforce Committee is a ‘lock, stock, and, barrel’ member of the CCSS Machine.

As far as the ‘Great Society’, we see those ties are being used for much of the social justice movement, also a key part of the CCSS Machine AND UN’s SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) agenda. STEM, is a direct product to help drive education to these social justice ends.

The Language:

Warriors, the entire purpose of these twin Bills is this:
“To support educational entities in fully implementing title IX and reducing
and preventing sex discrimination in all areas of education.”
Sadly, it takes 24 pages to explain what the ‘support’ means.


On Page 2 of the Senate’s Bill version, you’ll see the National Women’s Law Center is mentioned. NWLC has helped former President Obama’s data mining pay scale initiative to get off the ground. They’ve also helped wage a major educational disparities campaign (again with the work and support of the White House).

The NWLC also has successfully forced in-depth and precisely detailed ‘student data rape’ to continue. Why? The more details the more we can level the playing field.

If the NWLC would look at the massive data mining in this way (as many of those of us in the War Vs the Core) they may realize just how serious accessing private student information is.

Did you know the NWLC also was key in getting Early Head Start and Head Start funds in ESSA? Also, those community development block grants which will fund the 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Promise Neighborhoods, and, more?

These were all also mandated in ESSA.

The last NWLC item we Warriors need to know is that they are funded by some of the biggest CCSS Machine members. The truth can be seen beginning on Page 18 of their last Annual Report.

On Page 3 of S 1421, another group is mentioned: The American Association of University Women. According to AAUW’s last Annual Report,  they regularly fund STEM programs at local levels! From their website, you can find CCSS Machine corporate partners.

Warriors, how many times do we have to find out that our Congress is listening to the big bucks, not the everyday citizens?! 

While S 1421 and HR 3828 are exact copies, what can we see embedded from the House’s copy?
Page 3 “STEM Pipeline” used to describe the workforce aligned shift. (Scroll back up to what this really means)
Page 4, NSF (National Science Foundation), again more CCSS Machine/UN endorsed agenda skewing the truth.
Page 4, The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network’s Report information is used as justification. The GLSEN is also heavily back by key CCSS Machine member groups (for example: Wells Fargo, the Walt Disney Company, Target, and, many others)

Corporations tied to CCSS do NOT represent the people’s voice. 

More Fed Ed Power:

Warriors, the Equity Act being considered in DC hasn’t seen much action that We the People have been made aware of, but, before we assume this type of action will go away, we need to consider that any of the DC bills I’ve been studying could be rolled out anytime now..or, in the future. We’ve seen it happen way too many times in the past.

We also need to consider that embedded in BOTH bills is room for more federal funding to dictate what happens at State and local levels in education; that the Dept of Education will expand to ensure ‘equity’ is achieved. This will show up in anti-bullying, ‘safe schools’, and other ‘wrap around’ services. Every single one of these were mandated in ESSA using Title 1 funds. However, other Title funds would now be COMBINED to align learning to, not an equity-like level, but to a ‘one-way-to-learn-so-you-can-earn system’.

Closing:

Warriors, these tactics are directly taken from the UN-inspired SDG Toolkit created in the US back in the early 2000s. I’ve shared this Toolkit many times.

We need to understand that S 1241 and HR 3828 use ‘equity’. Both use ‘equality’. We’ve seen how the two are NOT the same, do not mean the same, and, should not be interchangeably used! Yet, bill after bill from the federal level continues to use double speak.

“Quality Provisions” Are A Farce

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we were last together, I left you with the fact that in the coming days I’d dive into more federal level legislation which is actually setting our nation up to fail in massive ways. Most especially our citizens when it comes to their education…at EVERY level.

If you missed just how badly the Congressional ‘provisions‘ for higher education will fail our students, I encourage you to find out about HR 2859.

If you’ve not heard of HR 3199, it’s very similar to HR 2859. It also amends the HEA (Higher Education Act), it also will fast-track and data rape students in post-secondary education. It also uses CBE (Competency Based Education) which over-assesses students to the point of utter frustration.

However, HR 3199 targets those who are disabled and/or have special needs.
I wrote about this absolutely horrible bill back in late 2017. I urge you, to re-read it.

Over in the Senate? Oh, they’ve been busy too, coming up with ways to ‘amend’ the HEA for ‘quality’ and ‘provisions’.

S 2342, Innovation Zone Act:

Currently, this Bill is sitting in the Senate’s HELP Committee. S 2342, would literally use your student’s ‘higher education success’ as as experiment (voluntary, of course) in ‘statutory and regulatory flexibility’. Warriors, that’s double speak for:
Data mining, increasing how much information your student retains, reducing debt connected to higher education, as well as, placing all the power to choose/conduct/assess these experiments at the feet of Sec. DeVos.

Which schools will she choose? That depends on which post-secondary schools volunteer. “Bonuses” will be given to any school which wishes to ‘fast track’ their cooperation.
Anywhere between 5 and 100 schools will be all that are needed to carry out this 10 year experiment. The IES (Institute of Educational Sciences) will also be in on all the data tracking (aka ‘student data rape’) going on.

P3s( public private partnerships) which come with ‘innovation’ and data mining will be allowed to be involved in the experimentation using OUR citizens! On Page 2, lines 20 and 21, are most concerning in the amount of gray area is given to what else will be included in this experiment. Basically, any ‘innovation’ U.S. Dept. of Education chooses which will ‘benefit’ your student.

What else? Any school in this experiment will become known as an ‘innovation zone’.

Warriors, we’re seeing how Congress is using the word ‘innovation’ against us in K-12th grades, do we really trust them when our kids are adults?!

(*Note: in the current Senate version of the re-authorization for HEA, S 615 (Higher Education Innovation Act), you will be able to see how the word is a cruel deceptive word used intentionally.)

Warriors, again, a pausing moment. I am NOT trying to be the doomsday alarmist in the War Vs the Core. We KNOW we cannot take these federal bills at their word. Deception run amuck is what is happening.

When D.C. leaves a ‘gray’ area, we SHOULD be demanding answers! When the CCSS Machine helps create these bills using our kids as experiments AND gives the Secretary of Education a HUGE increase in power over them, we SHOULD be storming D.C.!

HR 2590:

Also giving DeVos another boost in power is HR 2590 (Computer Science for All Act). My article on HR 2590 will show you more, but note that via this bill, DeVos is to award grants throughout K-12th grade education for as much computer indoctrination as possible. “Computer Science for All” was an Obama-era White House created initiative which has since been codified in ESSA. HR 3636 and S 1694, “Educator Preparatory Reform Act”:

Warriors, these ‘sisters’ will also go hand in hand with the student abuse. When you think about it, they have to. As we’ve been told by the CCSS Machine guru, Bill Gates, the assessments drive the curriculum. Well, the curriculum AND assessments drive the teachers!
If you’ve not seen the article I wrote on how abusive ESSA’s language to teachers (concerning their pay) is, please take a few minutes to review it.

So, what do HR 3636 and S 1694 have in common?
a) Both were introduced in August 2017.
b) Both sit in their respective Committees (3636 is in the Education and Workforce; 1694 is in the HELP).
c) Both are 52 pages long.
d) Both amend the HEA.
e) Both appear to be carbon copies of each other. I’ll highlight a few items from each Bill below.

S 1694 broadens the definition of ‘educator’. While ‘teacher’ is included, basically anyone who could be leading your student in the classroom (or across the campus) will have the ‘educator’ label. Warriors, by redefining who is able to educate this opens the door for all kinds of trouble. (*Note, the embedded link to my article laying out how ESSA’s doing this, click on ‘pay’, above.)

Also in S 1694 will be data mining from formative and summative assessments from the students K-12th grade education. The data will be carried through in post-secondary education as well as the same national, state, and, local assessments. Warriors, this will tie back to Title One funding. It’ll also tie back to Perkins funding (which feeds the CTE, Career Tech Education arm of the CCSS Machine).

HR 3636 will show you the sections of the HEA which will be redesignated, especially for teachers. This is just before the same redefining of who qualifies as an educator. On Pages 7 and 8, you’ll need to see what the principals will now be responsible for in your communities. (Warriors, is it only me, or did you notice that a Bill for amending HEA is addressing K-12 principals?)

Also from HR 3636, you’ll see how the teacher training is heavily dependent on their assessments. This will also be part of Title 2 funding. This, of course, opens the flood gates for the CCSS Machine’s P3s (public private partnerships) in PD (professional development), Warriors. We’ve seen this happen quite heavily in K-12th education, as well as post-secondary for a while now. (*Note: in case you missed my latest article about this type of alignment, go here.)

Closing:

Warriors, because these two Bills will impact every single type of post-secondary educator, we MUST alert our fellow Warriors; our family members or friends who are among this particular group, and, our leaders.

As far as ‘quality’, I see none in any of these Bills.

Everyone Loves A Fair, Right?!

To All My Anti Fed Ed Warriors, out there, I ask you the question above..
Everyone loves to attend a fair, right? Well, not everyone, I suppose. There are plenty of folks who would rather stay home than ride the ferris wheel, eat cotton candy, and, see all the local exhibits.

However, Warriors, what about a different kind of fair? Say, an international one.

Is there such a thing? Would you attend? Who would organize it, what activities would be present? How does all this impact education reform in America?

Meet BIE, Your Fair Guide:

BIE (Bureau for International Expositions) would be the organization in charge of the fair, or, as they call it ‘exposition’.
(*Note: This BIE is not to be confused with the US BIE, Bureau of Indian Education within the U.S. Dept. of the Interior)

According to the BIE’s website, an ‘expo’ (aka ‘fair’ for our conversation) is,  “a global event that aims at educating the public, sharing innovation, promoting progress and fostering cooperation. It is organized by a host country that invites other countries, companies, international organisations, the private sector, the civil society and the general public to participate.”

Everyone from young kids to senior citizens and from every walk of life are invited to these events.

The four main goals of these types of events are:
a) collectivism (although it referred to as ‘cooperation’); b) education (carried out through entertainment); c) showing off the host country; and, d) growing your nation’s economy. (Warriors, pause and ask yourselves this, “Where have I seen or heard this type of agenda before?”)

A quick and simple answer is the UN’s SDGs (United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals). In fact, the BIE, has a document expressly for tying in the SDGs to the Expositions. Below is a screen shot of the 2017 document’s front page.

So, What About Education Reform?

Warriors, we know several Anti Fed Ed researchers and activists have tied Dubai to the CCSS Machine. So, it isn’t surprising to find a 2013 BIE Speech (concerning the upcoming 2020 Dubai World Expo)  where education was brought up 5 times.

Of those 5 times, only a couple are evidence of the global reform being carried out today, in 2018.

Warriors, just think this was back in 2013; while the US wasn’t part of the BIE. Now that the US is once again a member nation, how much of this has already been done here in America? How much of this type of alignment is currently being carried out?
(*Note, the first question I posed here is more rhetorical. We have tons of evidence as to the global education push established in the past.)

Another Fair:

Warriors, as far as other type of fair, this past July (2017), the celebration fair outside the G20 (Group of 20) featured many celebrities pushing for global citizens, global agendas, and, using education as one of the tools by which to pull this off. There was an important update to the “Knot” article I published in Sept. 2017. In it you’ll find the Global Citizen scorecard and tons more information. You’ll see how NY Sen. Schumer is a global sell-out, as is Stevie Wonder (entertainer).

Closing:

Warriors, these types of fairs, expos, and, celebrations will not stop. In fact, they may increase. How do we fight back? These are public domain meetings. Use that to your advantage!

We cannot win the War Vs the Core in the CCSS Machine’s territory, BUT, we CAN fight the Machine in OURS. If we ‘win’, super. If we don’t, the Machine will suffer greatly by the time we are through.

Our work as activists is FAR from over. So, let’s turn the tables. Instead of a ‘fair’ exhibiting hype, let’s exhibit truth.
Let’s have teachers and students give ‘fair’ speeches about how damaging the
globalization of their classrooms is.
Let’s have them display the CCSS curriculum and resources for all to see how unfair this education reform is for THEM.
Let’s trot out the data mining tools and show the unfair AND illegal data rape happening everyday in America for the ‘global good’.
Let’s expose the UN’s SDG takeovers in our cities and towns, too.

US Ed’s Global Shakedown

Recently I’ve shown you several globally overreaching agenda items which are showing up in our US Congress. As you know, I’ve asked “WHY?”. Why are our US taxpayer dollars going to fund programs and set laws which are NOT American made, nor citizen driven? Especially when it comes to education.

Warriors, as you can see by this vintage political cartoon, having American citizens pay for D.C.’s ‘extravagance’ is an age old issue. Now, why would I choose to insert ‘extravagance’?

After all, education is NOT a luxury..it’s a privilege. I chose the ‘e’ word to make a point. American citizens are supposed to be the ones who influence Congress to create legislation, not lobbyists, corporations, or, global groups.

Yet, we’ve seen in the War Vs the Core just how easily We, the People, are dismissed. Congress is being extravagant with its power.

Wait Lynne, you said education is a privilege. Isn’t it actually a ‘right’? That depends Warriors. Are you thinking American or globally?

Global rhetoric has preached for years that education is a right and therefore MUST be given. The only problem with this logic is what is mandated (or in this case a ‘must’) is also controlled.

In the case of the CCSS Machine’s domain over globally based education, look at HOW controlled America’s education has become. It’s also become even MORE controlled by global forces. Yet, We the People will be expected to pick up the global-to-fed-led bill every time.

The classic thought concerning education in America (as elsewhere) was that by having education treated as a privilege, everyone involved got way more bang for their taxpayer dollar.

Think about it, teachers wanted to teach because they were encouraged, not forcibly controlled. Students were inspired to learn because they knew going to school was a step in the right direction, not a step to some assessment mandated job.

The CCSS Machine has murdered any joy, privilege, or enjoyment associated with education. Both for teachers AND students.

The ‘un-intended’ victims? The families and taxpayers.
Our compliance is not a choice, it, too, is a controlled mandate.
We have no say in the fact we do NOT wish to see our taxpayer dollars fund globally based Congressional bills.

 How committed to globalism is your State? Where I live (NC), is 100% committed. I’ve shared this with you many times* before here on my blog. The most recent commitments from the SBE (State Board of Education, where all political parties are involved), and the NC DPI (Dept. of Public Instruction). While we assume this only involves public schools of all kinds, this globalization in education reaches into private education, as well as homeschooling. How? Dual enrollment, AP courses, assessments, on-line or hybrid classes, extra curricular activities, and more.

A Test Of Time

Warriors Against the Core, this article will be very short.

I’m  in the “Sic ‘Em” mood. I think many of us are. Today, I’m pretty much summing up our findings after all these years fighting the War Vs. the Core. 

It’s been said we need to wake up more parents to join us in protecting our kids. I’ll not be presumptuous enough to claim this (what you’ll see below) is “IT”, but it sure can help.

Regardless if you are a Christian or not, everyone is familiar with the Bible’s Ten Commandments. You know the list:
1) God said I brought you out of bondage so, have no other gods before me.
2) Don’t make graven images to worship.
3) No blasphemy.
4) Keep the Sabbath.
5) Honor your parents.
6) No murder.
7) No adultery.
8) No theft.
9) No lies.
10) Don’t covet.

Warriors, stay with me…let’s take these basic  commandments (which were actually guidelines to aim for) and apply them to the modern CCSS Machine education reform.

As you know, since I began writing and speaking out, I have referred to all the egregiousness as a ‘machine’. In my Warrior mindset, assigning all that is going on as a result of this modern education reform, is much easier to understand.

What you’ll see below is my take of what the unspoken Education Reform Commandments are. Was there ever anything similar written down? Who knows, but it’s what we’ve been living out from the past to today.

Speak up, speak out! Don’t simply rely on those who’ve been in this War Vs. the Core for a long time. Work shoulder to shoulder.

We see our federal/state legislation carrying out the Education Reform Commandments, daily. Look at how much of what is happening in these ‘commandments’ for money; not quality of life, but money.

This shift goes way beyond education and is attacking the entire  family. It’s a chain reaction. Negatively impact education, and an entire society goes to Hell.

It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen. It’s up to us to throw a kink in the CCSS Machine.

Warrior “One Liners”

Warriors Against Fed Ed, there’s been quite a bit of buzz over closing the U.S. Dept. of Education in ‘one’ big swoop (HR 899).

From an activist’s viewpoint, this has really troubled me, but not for the reasons which may immediately cross your mind. From a researcher’s vantage point, seeing the hype proves one thing, history is repeating itself once more in our War Vs. the Core

As a result, I have a great curiosity, as to will we, the Warriors for our Children, LET that history play out yet again, OR, will we take a page from the great battle plans of the past, and truly beat our opponent?

Did you know there’s another plan to gradually close the Dept. down? (HR 1510).

For the remainder of this article, I’m using one-liners to make the simple points of effective strategy. Join me, will you? After all, we are a team.

As ‘one-liners’, these PROPOSED Solutions SOUND great, don’t they?:

HR 899’s Title, “To Terminate the Department of Education.”
HR 1510’s Title, ” ‘‘States’ Education Reclamation Act of 2017’’

Warriors, how many times have we seen the titles of proposed solutions accomplish exactly the opposite? With or without citizen input, what have the results typically been?

How many MORE times are we going to give Congress the benefit of the doubt when it comes to what’s best for our students?!

I’ll counter BOTH those ‘solutions’ with the one liner from ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)… 

“Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014”

As in ‘ALL education’ (means what’s learned, what’s taught, and what’s measured/tested) ‘MUST align to WIOA’s standards’, NOT academic standards!

Remember, ESSA’s an ‘on-books-law’.

The only solution to solve ESSA is a totally legal repeal without having to create new legislation.

Warriors, By Congress using WIOA as a ‘one-liner’ in ESSA, WIOA’s woven into ESSA on purpose. It is there to align education with labor!

Warriors, it’s STILL federal overreach! It won’t matter if U.S. Ed is closed, some other federal agency (agencies) will take over. That’s been a pre-planned process for quite some time.

By WIOA being woven into ESSA,  that means US ED is woven into the U.S. Dept. of Labor!
There is NO proposed Bill to close US Labor..nor will there be!

Here’s another ‘one liner’ to consider:
The Dept. of Health and Human Services!

Because ‘health’ in EVERY form is woven throughout ESSA, closing the US Ed down, shifts every bit of those programs and services right into the US Dept. of HHS’s lap!

Warriors, in the recent Congressional Appropriations moves the U.S. Dept. of HHS was given the lion’s share of our tax dollars. US Labor was 2nd in line, and US Ed was last in line. In BOTH those Appropriations Bills, the grasp at educational alignment via mental health services was extremely evident. So was the massive amount of data mining.

Again, NO Bill to remove the U.S. Dept. of  HHS exists, nor will it!

IS there a one-liner solution which WILL work?

Yes, Warriors! Use the EXISTING legal statutes to TOTALLY Repeal ESSA and at the same time Restore FERPA!
President Trump needs to wipe out the Executive Order which gutted FERPA.

This one-line solution will do TWO things almost immediately: a) roll back the illegally based ESSA; b) throw a monkey’s wrench in the data mining.


In other words, Warriors, this move will greatly reduced the U.S. Dept. of Education straight away. THEN, we can all move prudently to work towards TRUE local control in education; not see ALL the US Ed’s programs get scattered like a bunch of roaches when you walk into a room and turn the light on.

By approaching ridding our nation of the US Ed in a responsible manner, we can ensure our children that their education can go back to academics and not be taken over by U.S. Dept. of Labor; we can assure them their education will cease to data mine their private information to be used against them by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.

In our rush to do what’s best for our children, we need to step back this weekend and CAREFULLY considering WHAT IS BEST for the children will NOT be accomplished in ‘rip the band-aid off’ kind of way.

By taking a one sentence Bill and attaching a huge ‘to do’ list to it, are we REALLY considering all the ‘un-intended consequences’?

By taking another related bill where US ED is divided up into several pieces, are we honestly being pro-active in our moves?

To be honest, no.

Everything ‘We the People’ are doing to END the federal overreaches in education is REACTIVE at this point. All the laws have been passed to codify the overreaches, all the funds have been earmarked.

Warriors, we MUST really plot out effective battle plans against the CCSS Machine.

The first step? It is a big one, either way. However, there are many other steps we need to look at: a) Repealing WIOA and re-writing it to EXCLUDE education at any level; b) Halting the re-writing of HEA (Higher Education Act) right now to ensure it remains free of the WIOA clauses; c) getting P3s out of education; d) getting educators and teachers back to their first love; e) seeing States cut the dependence to the federal government’s pocketbook; and f) cutting ALL ties with the UN (United Nations).

By doing all these steps IN ORDER, we can really make use of the exit from UNESCO. (It is our membership with the UN/UNESCO which helped the CCSS Machine move so far along in reforming education in the first place, Warriors.)

If we DO NOT do things in a proper step way, Warriors, the exit from UNESCO will be as effective as a screen door on a submarine.

Let’s make sure this one-liner is NOT our destiny in this War Vs the Core:
