“The Prudence Files, Part Two”

Welcome back, Anti Fed Ed Warriors, it’s Part Two of my look at the 2020 Presidential race. In Part One, you not only got a feel for how I am putting the series together, but a close up look at the Senators running for the Oval Office.  Today, the close up is on  Representatives (and former DC leaders)??

pru1

As you saw in Part One, there are 20 candidates who have announced their candidacy and at least 13 others considering running. In both groups, you have current and former public servants and private citizens.
Below is the screen shot from Part One for the federal public servants. Note the Representatives for today’s article.

***Please note: Rep. John Delaney left his office  after the 2018 mid term elections.***

Rep. Ryan has 20 current education bills (or related) and one House Resolution which relates.

Reps. Moulton, Swalwell, and Gabbard share co-sponsorship of HR 1, 5, 6, and 1784. They also voted ‘yes’ to HR 1’s final House vote. Rep. Amash voted ‘no’ to HR 1.
Reps. Moulton and Swalwell share co-sponsorship of HR 51 and HR 865.
Reps. Gabbard and Moulton share co-sponsorship of HR 728.
Reps. Gabbard and Swalwell share co-sponsorship of HR 1384.
Rep. Swalwell shares co-sponsorship of HR 1733. Rep. Moulton is the sponsor of HR 1733.
Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 1109 and HR 1170.
**Note: HR 1 also embeds the automatic protection of the U.S. Dept. of Education (and other agencies) in the event of a disaster (natural or man-made).

Rep. Moulton currently has 8 education related bills. (*Note: from his Congressional page, his education stance.)

Rep. Swalwell shares co-sponsorship of HR 590.
Reps. Ryan and Gabbard share co-sponsorship of HR 873.
Rep. Ryan shares co-sponsorship of HR 1058.
Rep. Gabbard shares co-sponsorship of HR 1943. Rep. Gabbard is also the sponsor of HR 1587.

Rep. Gabbard has 7 Education related bills. Her education stance was featured in Part One.

Reps. Moulton, Swalwell, and, Ryan share co-sponsorship of HR 860.
Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 674.

Rep. Swalwell has 6 education related bills. His education/workforce stance can be found here.

Rep. Moulton shares co-sponsorship of HR 9 and HR 1368.

Rep. Amash has 2 education related bills. Warriors, as I pointed out in Part One, while voting ‘no’ to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was a good thing, it appears that’s been cast aside. Why would I say that? Look above, do you see the support for school vouchers?
School vouchers are a big part of, not only ESSA, but current federal budgets! From BallotOPedia, you can see he previously voted ‘yes’ to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That Act has been kept in place. So how does it connect to education? Creating more P3s (Public Private Partnerships) in education, at all ages!

The first bill Rep. Amash has co-sponsored is HR 899, it’s the one bill which would shut down the U.S. Dept. of Education by Dec. 31, 2020. While I do agree the U.S. Dept. of Education should be shut down, it is absolutely NOT prudent to shut it down without REPEALING ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), first.

Something the Bill’s sponsor and co-sponsors didn’t attach to the bill. I’ve written previously about the ‘unintended consequences’ which would happen should this Bill become law. With the direction education is headed in, as well as the upcoming election, we don’t need to throw wisdom out the window. (*Note: the embedded article above features the 115th version of HR 899. The 116th version is the same except the termination date.)

The Second bill is HR  1910, which would end the Import/Export Bank. While that’s a good thing (for education), It’s doubtful this bill will pass.

Former federal politicians running for President (or considering it)

1) Former Rep. John Delaney:

Warriors, as I shared above, Mr. Delaney left Congress to pursue the 2020 Campaign, full time. Here’s his website:

To see his education stance (and it’s pretty awful), go here. As a ‘bonus’ you’ll even see he mentions some of his work in education while he was in the House. Let’s not forget, he did vote “yes” to ESSA.

2) Former Rep., Beto O’Rourke:
Warriors, I know there’s been lots of questions about Beto’s stance on charters. I can tell you that Reuters has recently published his past support for them could be trouble. However, as an Anti Fed Ed Warrior, you need to know the non-profit his wife heads (which ‘improves education’) is a partner with the Gates Foundation.
As far as the official O’Rourke for President campaign website, his education stance is pretty scary. Strengthening education unions will only breed more globalism!

3) Former VP, Joe Biden:

Warriors, if you’ve followed my blog for a while, you will know I’ve already connected Mr. Biden (while he was the Vice President) to the CCSS Machine. Times haven’t changed at all.

To see the Biden Foundation information on education, go here. To see my articles on Biden, go here.

According to The Hill, if Biden does run in 2020, he’ll be the guy to beat.

4) Former Senator/Former Sec. Of State, John Kerry:

Warriors, if you missed the Kerry/Bush debate on education, I’ve got it right here! Kerry was in full support of nationalized standards. That was while Kerry was a Senator.

As the Secretary of State (State Dept., which is very much in the CCSS Machine/UN back pocket), Kerry’s getting us in the Paris Agreement (which has influenced education via climate change, even in 2019) was counted as one of his greatest accomplishments.

(Sources for the information seen above)

The CCSS Machine’s money (as seen in Part One). Regardless of the Senate, the House, or former public service, the campaign dollars show us quite a bit.

Warriors, use your prudence when looking at the other issues your candidate stands for. As we’ve seen from the Senators, the Representatives, the Vice President, and the Secretary, education connects to everything else.

Closing:

Warriors, in Part Three, I’ll be reviewing the Trump/Pence team’s actions in education. In Part Four, I’ll be exposing the State level politicians running for the Oval Office.
Part Five, will conclude the series with private citizens running, as well as, other election information.
Be watchful my followers, we’ve got much to do in the coming days.
**This just in, Rep. Swalwell was reported in Part One as considering to run, he has since confirmed it.

The Con Jobs Live On?

To all my Anti-Fed Ed Warriors, I hope you saw the news a few days ago that the U.S. Secretary of Ed and the U.S. Secretary of Labor held a joint press conference about skill-based education. While each of the leaders I mention were either elected, or put into office at the hands of those elected, I am not stating for a fact they are ‘con artists’. I am pointing to their ‘con artist-like’ actions.

As we know, Warriors, actions (in education) ‘speak’ a lot louder than the (CCSS Machine) propaganda these DC leaders speak.

A Host of Con Artist Actions:

If you missed the glamour and glitz of the duo dead set on helping uphold the D.C. top-down alignment of our education system to a workforce breeding ground, you missed DeVos’s priceless statement that not only is higher education in need of skill-based reform, but our K-12th education is, too.

Look at the featured screen shot (above), notice the President’s full support of this press conference.
Then, look below for another President Trump workforce education supportive tweet:

trumpacostadevos

Of course, a few days before the DeVos/Acosta ‘side show’ and the DeVos/Acosta/Trump photo opportunity (seen above), was the Pence/DeVos meeting (it was closed to the Press) about workforce based education, too.
Watch the DeVos/Acosta/Trumps video:

Below is Vice President Pence’s proud tweet from August 7th about his meeting with DeVos:

pencedevosmeet

Warriors, if this were the first time we’d seen Pence tout workforce aligned education, we might be shocked, but it’s far from his first time. If we’d seen DeVos’s opposition to aligning education to the economic needs, we might be cheering, but that’s not the case at all. As far as our President, he’s not listened to the Moms, Dads, grandparents, teachers, and, taxpayers when we’ve shared how toxic the overreach of labor into education has proven. No, he’s used every opportunity to listen to the G20, the UN, and other connecting organizations about workforce based education. If you missed the President’s June 2017 Press Release about leading the workforce development (aka: workforce education) shift, access that here.

Likewise, Warriors, if this were the first D.C. level administration hell-bent on extending the globally led shift in education which divorces itself from academics to skill-based jobs, we could raise the roof with outrage. But, this ISN’T the first administraion to do so. When Obama/Biden were at the helm of America, we saw Common Core become law. We saw it’s ‘cousin’, Career Tech Ed (which, by the way still exists in the Every Student Succeeds Act, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, STEM Act, Higher Education Act, and every law connected to each of these), become the ‘special project’ assigned to Vice President Biden. Which, he carried out with glee..and some key labor unions.

In fact, Warriors, my fellow blogger, researcher, and anti Fed Ed Warrior, Dr. Young, has given us an article showing how far back the D.C. administrations date to force a shift in education.

Warriors, if you do not see the direct connection from Workforce Development to education, please find that research here. You can find the U.S. Dept. of Education’s document where the WIOA related education shift items are laid out via State Plans to help you make the connections. This document pre-dates the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) passage into law, but ESSA’s language embeds every bit of the shift.
Below, is a screen shot I created for visual impact to stress the true goal of ESSA.

Warriors, think about this, if we, the People, conducted every day business in these  con artist-like ways, we’d be charged with crimes and thrown in jail. Yet, these leaders walk and operate freely…all on our taxpayer dimes.

Stopping the Con Artist Actions:

Warriors, is it REALLY possible to halt these D.C. Con leaders and the related CCSS Machine?! Yes, I believe it is. How? Existing laws which ARE Constitutionally binding. If you missed my fellow writer and anti Fed Ed Warrior, Alex Newman’s article last week, you may not know about the anti ESSA national campaign where just this type of action is being planned! If you read Alex’s article, you’ll see that I was honored to be quoted in it.

To visit the “Child Abuse in the Classroom” website, Alex wrote about:
http://www.childabuseintheclassroom.com/

Warriors, we know our War Vs the Core is hardly about promoting ourselves. Oh no, far from it. Our War is about 1) protecting our students/children, 2) preserving freedom, 3) halting Un-American agendas in education, 4) honoring our Constitution where we’re clearly told the federal government has NO place in education, and 5) giving teachers the opportunity to conduct their profession without corporate driven undermining.

This War is NOT about us: it’s about our Nation, it’s about our future as a free people. It’s about doing what’s right. Something, it appears, our con artist leadership has cast aside.

Join me; join the others who are seeking justice in its true sense for our education system.

Silent Partners

Yesterday, anti CCSS/Fed Ed Warriors, I stated we would look a bit closer into the CCSS Machine to find out about a ‘silent partner’. Before we look at who or what group is revealed, let’s continue with where I left off, the U.S. Dept of Labor’s involvement.

‘Building Youth’ via the U.S. Dept. of Labor:

If you have not heard of the YouthBuilder Grants from the U.S. Dept. of Labor, now is our opportunity to learn just how these are tied to the CCSS Machine.

The website: https://www.doleta.gov/Youth_services/YouthBuild.cfm

Their mission for your students in their words, “The Department of Labor has administered the YouthBuild program since September 2006. The YouthBuild program is administered by the Employment and Training Administration’s Office of Workforce Investment, Division of Youth ServicesYouthBuild is a community-based alternative education program that provides job training and educational opportunities for at-risk youth ages 16-24. Youth learn construction skills while constructing or rehabilitating affordable housing for low-income or homeless families in their own neighborhoods. Youth split their time between the construction site and the classroom, where they earn their high school diploma or equivalency degree, learn to be community leaders, and prepare for college and other post-secondary training opportunities. YouthBuild includes significant support systems, such as a mentoring, follow-up education, employment, and personal counseling services; and participation in community service and civic engagement. There are over 220 DOL funded YouthBuild programs in 43 states serving over 6000 youth per year.”

If you enlarge the screen shot, you will notice the HUD (Housing and Urban Development) is also on board with the Program. Does that mean the U.S. Dept. of HUD is a CCSS Machine member, too? Yes! However, before we get to HUD, let me finish the U.S. Dept. of Labor by linking you back to two very important articles:
a) This article details the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Secretary Perez, the U.S. Vice President (Biden), and a think tank organization with ties to the global aspect of workforce, global education:
https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2014/11/02/rmt-sunday-vp-common-core-and-jobs/
b) This article ties the alignment of Common Core to Career Tech Education as well as reveal a well known supposed anti CCSS Warrior and some other organizations you may not know are in the CCSS Machine:

HUD, A Silent CCSS Machine Member?

Knowing that I have shared with you many times, in many articles how the U.S. Dept. of Labor is ruining quality education, I haven’t shared what I have found out about HUD. That ends now.

HUD is a part of our government which seeks to equalize neighborhoods across America. While that is a good mission, it is not necessarily up to our federal levels of government to oversee, at least from what I have found out. However, we have seen the federal government overtake healthcare and education, so I guess overtaking the neighborhoods stands to reason.

HUD uses Community Block Grants (CBG) and Promise Zones, which include Promise Neighborhoods. Promise Neighborhoods are embedded in the ESSA (see: https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2016/01/04/meet-your-new-neighbor-essa-seriously/)
Part of being eligible for a CBG is developing a ripe economic environment (aka: creating jobs). See the screen shot below for HUD’s Economic Success example:

HUDsuccess

Also part of being eligible are ‘national activities’. While ESSA does not spell out what ‘national activities’ IT will require, it is worth noting that ESSA, does, in fact, mandate national activities. Activities on a national level are to target teachers and entire families, as well as students and communities. (*Note: Section 4601 in ESSA Final Conference Report is where you will find the family involvement. Section 2201 begins the teachers national activities.)

To learn all you can about CBGs: http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?src=/program_offices/comm_planning/communitydevelopment/programs

While education is not specifically mentioned (that I saw) in the paper about the HUD’s New Core Shared Service Project, some of the same CCSS Machine member organizations ARE involved in this community wide, encompassing Project.

If you are curious about the Promise Zones featuring Promise Neighborhoods:
1) They are a White House led Initiative (meaning another top-down set of programs, laws to support them, etc.)
2) The first 5 Promise Zones were in TX. PA, CA, Southeastern KY, and the Choctaw Nation in OK. Below is a screen shot from the White House.

CLosing:

I hope you have been able to see the connections between the U.S. Depts of Education, Labor, Housing and Urban Development; the White House overreach; the CCSS Machine and the alignment to workforce based education. When you expand the screen shot below, you will find Youth Build in the upper left hand corner. You will find SNAP (it was the featured news NOT circled in the screen shot about the Center for the Study of Social Policy.). If you go back and look at the many programs HUD has for job training, you can probably spot them below, as well. Since all these agencies are involved in the education reform, alignment to workforce based education via WIOA and ESSA is a given.

While the 9 federal levels are easy to spot, look at the variety of other agencies which are not easy to identify as connected.
