I Might be Banned IF…

Hello, Warriors!

It’s been a busy week and a half for me. Child Abuse in the Classroom’s national grassroots campaign kicked off, interviews to prepare for, webinars to attend, and, a video ‘class’ on the UN’s grasp on American education..enough to make me dizzy. Some even called me ‘ditzy’. Oh well, all in the life of an outspoken education activist.

So, what do I mean by the title you read? “I might be banned IF”….I told the truth…again.
Facebook banned me for doing so…again. By now, not only am I NOT surprised, I am saddened. Freedom of speech, at least according to the Facebook ‘police’ is heavily censored. I could understand if what I have to say was truly awful, but, the truth?? Seriously??

What Got Me Banned:

Quite simply, my latest video presentation. Here’s the link. If that link doesn’t work, here’s another way to access the audio. The audio version will not have the images I shared during the video, but you will be able to still get the idea that what evidence I have uncovered is key. Warriors, please share these resources. My thanks to the Warrior who created the audio version.

The research links from the video:
The first link I shared is for the Child Abuse Campaign. It has a section of its own below.

I touched on HR 3358 during the video. Use the website I embedded to search for it. This next week, I’ll be diving into this bill for a closer look.

One thing I didn’t point out, but intended to was the use of the Smurfs to push the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

During the video, I referred to my blog to access the articles by topic. As you know, I’ve devoted several years to researching education. One of the articles which sparked me to get involved was by Tom DeWeese. I not only gave you a bit of history with Tom’s article, but I also gave you a bit of what’s been happening since then and is directly related.

The technology push in America is also traceable to the UN. Read all about it, here.

One of the biggest things I shared with Warriors, is the color psychology behind the SDGs. There are two links you MUST visit! The first one is from a NGO (non government organization) run by a large group of Catholic women. The second one is from a group of ‘stakeholders’.
The UN has some serious mandates about using the logo and colors of the SDGs. Find these 2 links and see how strict it all is.

You’ll find the Global Alliance for Monitoring Education is funding assessments on a global level which fits right in with the UN’s agenda.

To see the CIPP (context, input, process, and, product) model for assessing (based off the Latin American assessments all UNESCO member-states are to use), visit the highlighted link. The CIPP image is a bit fuzzy. Here’s another resource to try.
To see the CIPP research (for measuring service based learning (aka: skill based learning), look here.

To see the UN’s definition and purpose of assessments (a ‘must’ for the 2030 Agenda), go here.

To hear the US President and the US Ambassador to the UN (Haley) re-commit the US to the UN’s reform, you have these 2 sources. Remember, Warriors, it isn’t so much what IS said sometimes as it is what ISN’T said. By committing us to the UN’s agenda, these leaders are speaking for us. We did NOT ever say we wanted UN in our US education!

Child Abuse In The Classroom:

“OUR GOAL:  To repeal ESSA and President Obama’s Executive Order 12866 which changed the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations to allow our children’s data and private information–including teacher-generated, anecdotal, psychological analysis–to be shared without parental knowledge or approval.”

Warriors, we MUST have tens of thousands of citizens join us to make the grassroots effort truly pay off. To accomplish a ‘repeal and restore’ tactic of this nature, massive numbers of outraged citizens are needed. Please visit the website, see the ESSA’s violations against all our children; learn the loopholes of FERPA.

Things I’ve found since the video was recorded AND are related!

Global Citizens:

schumerThen this:

What a Global Citizen must believe and act out daily:

(*Note this is from a preschool) If you’d like to see a ‘grown-up’ definition of becoming a global citizen, visit this website. (*Note: This resource’s history is one you’ll need to read to believe!)

Then this proclamation by a US citizen:

The Global Citizenship Initiative’s website has a Report you simply HAVE to see. It is the Report Card for each nation involved in the organization. Of course the US is a member.
Below is how ‘we’ are ranked as far as aligning to the Initiative:

Warriors, it’s vital to point out that the top 3 nations (Denmark, Sweden, and, Norway) “Leading the Way” in this Initiative are ones we repeatedly see our education systems compared to  OR lamented over that the US isn’t MORE like these nations when it comes to education! Stop comparing!! When this happens, we are actually encouraging our US education system to become Un-American!!!

The Global Education Associates openly participates in the UN activities. The US, is a member country. You’ll find the Eden Project is also a part of the GEA (Global Education Associates)

The P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Skills) is a well known CCSS Machine member organization. But did  you know they are ‘buddies’ with the UN?! That’s right, the ‘buddies’ have been working together to ruin American education since 2013.

Not only is the P21 up to its neck in the UN’s activities, but they are also pushing the 21st Century Community Learning Centers. These Centers are most definitely a globalizing move as well as being embedded in ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). P21’s latest Report shows how our babies (18 months to 6 years old) can learn BETTER when involved in a 21st CCLC.

Since so much of ESSA has technology as an educational ‘resource’, it’s important to connect that back to the UN’s push for technology (see the links above I shared; as well in the video). Warriors, look at the evidence directly above.  It’s from a group known as ‘CUE’. Cue loves to lobby legislators. They are also partners with inACOL (International Assoc. for K-12 Online Learning). In 2016, inACOL gave a proposal to the UN for the 2030 Agenda in education. (*Note, thanks to Warrior Victoria for the CUE lead.)

If you’ve heard of a “New Tech” school, it’s part of the combination of efforts in educational reform. According to the NTN (New Tech Network), students are BETTER College/Career Ready Graduates! Here’s their Report stating this. (*Note: “The New Tech Network (NTN) of nearly 200 schools in 28 states..” contains about 72,000 children.) When you access the Report, be sure to read the President’s remarks. You’ll find that global citizenship is among the themes of these schools.

So, Warriors, there you have it. You, too, can be banned for sharing the truth about the CCSS Machine! So, speak loudly, speak daily, and speak out to save our nation!

Know Thy Worth?

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’re quickly approaching a new school year (2017-18). It’ll be another year of contention for those who are dead-set against the CCSS Machine

Over the summer, many of us have continued to chip away at the facade of how ‘local’ ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is and the true identity of the global, UN (United Nations) grasp over our federal government’s adherence to the modern education reform.

Would You Know What the Global CCSS Machine Values Are?

Warriors, did you know that the UN has ROI (Return on Investment) formulas for education? These formulas, of course will include assessements (tests), teaching, and other factors. However, it’s not the student who will come out the winner, but the businesses AND economy which will reign supreme in education. Why? Workforce based, skilled citizens. If the UN has such, we can ‘bet the bank’ the USA does, too.

Needed Background Information:

For example, back in 2014, I wrote an article about a local meeting which laid out the intersecting of the working world, politicians, and education. Oh, and, yes, the business world was represented by the State level Chamber of Commerce. Look below for a sample of what I shared then.

parentproblemTo see and read the rest of the article, go here. If you’ve not seen how the P3s (public private partnerships) influence your local education system, visit here.

Warriors, we must remember, P3s are increased in power, thanks to ESSA. Globally speaking, their power is enormously strong, as well. The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) provide the way for this across the globe.

Here, in America, a series of federally passed laws provide the way. Chief among them are: ESSA, WIOA, HEA, the STEM Act, and many more. If you missed how the P3s are running higher education as a ‘return on investment’ for the economy, check out my 2015 article where you’ll see your students on a wheel.

Also, Warriors, keep in mind, the big corporations are not the only investors in ‘education’. The SBA (Small Business Administration) is knee-deep in the alignment/investing ploy, too. These will be the more ‘local’ overreaches you see today.

Warriors, we know of plenty of American career tracking, but what about the international career tracking and/or skill based tests? Are there any? Of course!
Back in March 2017, I shared with you the ties between American and the PIAAC (Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies). This test measures our adults (and thus, teachers, education leaders) and their ‘value’ to the economy.

Your Global Worth?

So, how does all this tie to the UN’s SDGs?! Watch the short video below. It features a school leader (early 2017) explain ‘rigor’ in the global scheme of things. While I listened to this man, I heard so many words with very little meaning. (A classic tool of the CCSS Machine) This school is an American school (Ranney School in NJ. It’s an  independent school which is a UN partner school. Ranney School also is con-joined with Monmouth University as another UN partner school.

Warriors, did you catch the ‘innovation’ plugs? Did you hear the ‘what’s taught’? The Tool Kit for teaching the SDGs is full of how to teach to manipulate values, beliefs, and attitudes. (*Note, when you access the article, you can also get to the entire 142 page Tool Kit. Simply click on the phrase ‘tool kit’ in the section beginning with “From 2002..”)

How did I find out about the NJ schools and their UN partnerships? Their project is being tracked in real time by the UN itself! If you’d like to see the entire results, go here.
Be sure to look for the ‘measured outcomes’ of the project.

If you’d like to see more about this from Ranney’s media, I urge you to access it here.
If you’d like to see and learn more about the Global Citizen Signature Program which is also a part of the Ranney School, click here. Look below for a screen shot:

GCsignatureIs the Ranney School exclusive in the US as a UN partner? Hardly. It’s simply an example for this article. According to the UN’s SDG Initiative Tracking website, there are 524 other global education partnerships in progress right now. If you’d like to see them, find them here. However, remember, Warriors, education is the preferred ‘change agent’ so the alignment in education will be in ALL 17 goals for SD (Sustainable Development), not simply one.

A Big Clue:

As far as anyone’s worth in the current education takeover/reform? It’s not what you know, it’s how you work. Listen to the job forecast in the video below:

Warriors, you can access the article which is to accompany this video. You’ll want to make note of their mention of the U.S. Dept. of Labor (and others). Remember, EVERY Cabinet level agency is in on the CCSS Machine’s workforce shift. Why? As an active SDG Resolution signing country, we must shift education. Look below at the website I found on the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s website:

Find the Handbook here.

How the OCED* (Organization for Cooperation in Economic Development) rates ‘returns on investment’ in education. This 2009 Report looks at student outcomes and the cost of educating people. (*Note: OCED is a partner via the Global Compact of the UN.)

This un-dated World Bank “education return on investment” shows how education and growth for economics should be a hand-in-hand process.

UNICEF (a part of the UN), in their 2015 Report, stress a hefty return on investment via education of up to 30%.

How the USA rates ‘returns on investment’ in education can be found on the website “U.S. Global Leadership Coalition”.
The member organizations and corporations for the US GLC include some of the biggest CCSS Machine groups. Find them here.

What CCSS Machine member groups give money to the U.S. GLC? Look below for a few of them:

Back in 2016, MarketWatch’s website suggested we ‘moneyball’ education. Maybe they read ESSA better than those who voted on it. Moneyballing is exactly what will be happening more and more in American classrooms of all ages. We can also expect those bankrolling education will have many strings in the way education is conducted. Expect more of a business, not a labor of love, Warriors.

Do the better ‘thing’, the ‘smarter than the global-UN/US thing’: Don’t send your students back to school! Hug them instead, talk with them about their TRUE value and worth. It is beyond ANY amount of money!

Tech Thursday: Global Day for Education

According to the Global Education Conference Network, September 17th is a very special day.
According to the Global Education Conference Network, September 17th is a very special day.

In today’s “Tech Thursday” article, we’ll find out how the Global Collaboration Day for Education is laced with Common Core, Workforce aligned education.

A Bit of History, First:

Before we get to the latest information, I wanted to provide you with a bit of history on the Global Education Conference Network. I first wrote about them in June of this year. In that particular article, I shared with you how evidence to the ‘state led’ argument was blown out of the water. I was able to connect Harvard University and others to the GECN. See: https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/06/05/fom-2015s-ccss-whoppers-so-far/

If you’d like a bit more of an idea about the background of the GECN, the annual conference is co-chaired by Lucy Gray and Steve Hardagon. The Network itself (website:
http://www.globaleducationconference.com/) is acollaborative, inclusive, world-wide community initiative involving students, educators, and organizations at all levels. Our activities are designed to significantly increase opportunities for connecting classrooms while supporting cultural awareness and recognition of diversity and educational access for all.”

Be sure to check out the Advisory Board as well. You may be surprised at who the participants are.:

Now that you have a bit of history, here’s a brief look at what’s ahead, globally education wise. On September 25th, 2015, the “World’s Largest Lesson” is going to be taking place.
A Global Leadership Summit
is being planned for sometime in the Spring of 2016, while a Global Education Day will be held in June 2016 at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).  (more about all these in a bit)

Declarations in Global Education:

From the co-leader, Steve Hardagon, a declaration he wrote and presented in 2013 during the GEN Conference. this excerpt on the value of global education:

“Because we are citizens of our individual nations and also part of a larger human family;
Because it is important to learn about other cultures and to understand the similarities that unite us and the differences that define us;
Because global understanding, empathy, and compassion depend and are built on communication, shared experiences, and relationships;
Because we increasingly live in a “global village”;
Because we increasingly work in geographically and culturally interconnected ways;
Because we are interconnected physically and our ecological and resource-use decisions impact others;
Because we share a world which appears to be increasingly fragile;
Because complex worldwide problems need collaborative, cooperative, and intelligent solutions….”

So who IS the man? How is he qualified as an educator? Is he tied to the CCSS Machine?
Answers can be found on his website as to his personal history and educational experience.
As far as being tied to the CCSS Machine? ABSOLUTELY! How, you ask?
Blackboard, Microsoft, the U.S. Dept. of Education, the U.S. State Dept., CoSN (Consortium for School Networking; see their corporate list of members:
http://cosn.org/about/membership/membership-directory ), PBS, and host of others, too. However, it’s his work with the KnowledgeWorks that is the most revealing. If you’ve followed my blog long or listened to some of my audio appearances, you are familiar with how KnowledgeWorks is tied to the CCSSO (Council of Chief State School Officers) and how much of their work is devoted to 100% aligned communities. If you see nothing else from the number of articles above, click on them long enough to see the ‘tags’ between the titles and the body of the article. What do you see?  You should see several repeating themes and  names of certain organizations. My point in including each of them is because KnowledgeWorks has an all-encompassing agenda. The foundation has been laid. Check it out.

As far as the ‘other’ declarations I was referring to in the subtitle above? The UN’s educational declarations!! See the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights , Article 26 (http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/), the UNESCO’s “Education for All” statement as found on their UN-related website:
http://www.unesco.org/new/en/education/themes/leading-the-international-agenda/education-for-all/ and the UNESCO’s Declaration of how it carries out the UN’s Declaration. (see: http://www.unesco.org/new/en/social-and-human-sciences/themes/human-rights-based-approach/60th-anniversary-of-udhr/unesco-and-the-declaration/)

ISTE, International Society for Technology in Education):

The website: http://www.iste.org/
One of the main mission sponsors? Microsoft! (scroll down the main page of the website to see the logo)

What’s a bit unusual is the ISTE has several sets of standards, depending on your role in education..and YES, they cater to the CCSS (Common Core State Standards)! See: http://www.iste.org/standards/iste-standards  (if you’d like to the CCSS specific standards, see: http://www.iste.org/standards/standards-in-action/common-core;  be sure to look into the Project ReimaginED)

That “World’s Largest Lesson”:

As part of the GECN’s “EverNotes” (see: https://www.evernote.com/pub/lucygray/globalresources#st=p&n=d000f90f-a46d-4fac-9058-af75e0d1ce9c), the “World’s Largest Lesson” is actually a joint project of UNICEF and TES (UNICEF is an arm of the UN, United Nations, TES has  a global impact with an American group’s help in its founding. Which group? Oh, I’m so glad you asked! The AFT (American Federation of Teachers!!) Need to see it to believe it? (see: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/us/partners) Here’s an excerpt from the TES Global ‘about us’: TES Global is a fast growing and digital education business committed to supporting teaching and learning. Our mission is to help improve performance and standards in education by both supporting the world’s teachers with a portfolio of tailored digital services and providing the world’s most respected higher education data and analysis..” For the portion of TES that’s not global, “We’re proud to be part of TES Global, a fast-growing digital education company that’s been supporting educators worldwide for over 100 years. ” To see more about TES and TES Global: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/us/about

Note the declarative statement for a date that's not even here yet.
Note the declarative statement for a date that’s not even here yet!

Wait a minute..isn’t the UN in New York right now holding its General Assembly?! YES!
The schedule: http://www.un.org/en/ga/info/meetings/69schedule.shtml
Now, according to that schedule the votes are to be taken over 3 days, one of which is the same date the “World’s Largest Lesson” is to be carried out!!

Related to all this are the two resolutions which will impact American education (and involve the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals, as well as include the  SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals):
a) http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=A%2Fres%2F69%2F244
b) http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=A%2Fres%2F65%2F1

The MDGs impact education, see this excerpt: “By packaging these priorities into an easily understandable set of eight goals, and by establishing measurable and timebound objectives, the MDGs help to promote global awareness, political accountability, improved metrics, social feedback, and public pressures. As described by Bill Gates, the MDGs have become a type of global report card for the fight against poverty for the 15 years from 2000 to 2015. As with most report cards, they generate incentives to improve performance, even if not quite enough incentives for both rich and poor countries to produce a global class of straight-A students.

The SDGs by contrast impact the physical world and are ” an important idea, and could help finally to move the world to a sustainable trajectory.”  The document tying the MDGs and the SDGs together can be found: MGDstoSDGs

As far as the “World’s Largest Lesson”, be sure to view the “Other Resources” page where you can see each of UN’s agenda points in a kid friendly way. (https://globaldimension.org.uk/worldslargestlesson/)

I hope you share this very important article with as many folks as you can who still think CCSS is “state led”, or “American only”.  I hope you help me to continue to expose where every scrap of CCSS Machine agenda, global ties, and any other connected pieces therein are!
