Using ‘Crisis’ To Drive Agenda

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I do believe our current Congress has reached an all-time low with the pair of federal derived education bills, S 1421 and HR 3828.

Both are titled the Patsy T. Mink Gender Equity in Education Act. Both claim the purpose of the legislation is to protect citizens from sexual inequality. But, what if, hidden in plain sight of these 2 bills is an agenda for aligned education? The savior for protecting us? STEM (as in Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math)!!

Personal note: I am in no way advocating sexual inequality nor do I promote sexual harassment. However, if we are to have important legislation protecting our citizens could we POSSIBLY leave the UN’s (and CCSS Machine’s) STEM out of it?!

The Lady:

Warriors, if you are not sure who Patsy T. Mink was, she was a very important leader from HI. She is basically the mother of Title 9. When Title 9 was much younger, it was created so that women and girls would have equal access to sports.
It’s only been in recent years that Title 9 has been reworded to NOW cover anyone who feels sexually left out of education.

Mrs. Mink was also key in President Johnson’s Great Society legislative campaign. She served twice on the U.S. House’s Education and Workforce Committee, helped begin Head Start and, so much more. (*Note: it was President Johnson who ‘gave’ us the original ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) now ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)

Sadly, though, Warriors, Head Start has been CCSS aligned for a while. The Education and Workforce Committee is a ‘lock, stock, and, barrel’ member of the CCSS Machine.

As far as the ‘Great Society’, we see those ties are being used for much of the social justice movement, also a key part of the CCSS Machine AND UN’s SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) agenda. STEM, is a direct product to help drive education to these social justice ends.

The Language:

Warriors, the entire purpose of these twin Bills is this:
“To support educational entities in fully implementing title IX and reducing
and preventing sex discrimination in all areas of education.”
Sadly, it takes 24 pages to explain what the ‘support’ means.


On Page 2 of the Senate’s Bill version, you’ll see the National Women’s Law Center is mentioned. NWLC has helped former President Obama’s data mining pay scale initiative to get off the ground. They’ve also helped wage a major educational disparities campaign (again with the work and support of the White House).

The NWLC also has successfully forced in-depth and precisely detailed ‘student data rape’ to continue. Why? The more details the more we can level the playing field.

If the NWLC would look at the massive data mining in this way (as many of those of us in the War Vs the Core) they may realize just how serious accessing private student information is.

Did you know the NWLC also was key in getting Early Head Start and Head Start funds in ESSA? Also, those community development block grants which will fund the 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Promise Neighborhoods, and, more?

These were all also mandated in ESSA.

The last NWLC item we Warriors need to know is that they are funded by some of the biggest CCSS Machine members. The truth can be seen beginning on Page 18 of their last Annual Report.

On Page 3 of S 1421, another group is mentioned: The American Association of University Women. According to AAUW’s last Annual Report,  they regularly fund STEM programs at local levels! From their website, you can find CCSS Machine corporate partners.

Warriors, how many times do we have to find out that our Congress is listening to the big bucks, not the everyday citizens?! 

While S 1421 and HR 3828 are exact copies, what can we see embedded from the House’s copy?
Page 3 “STEM Pipeline” used to describe the workforce aligned shift. (Scroll back up to what this really means)
Page 4, NSF (National Science Foundation), again more CCSS Machine/UN endorsed agenda skewing the truth.
Page 4, The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network’s Report information is used as justification. The GLSEN is also heavily back by key CCSS Machine member groups (for example: Wells Fargo, the Walt Disney Company, Target, and, many others)

Corporations tied to CCSS do NOT represent the people’s voice. 

More Fed Ed Power:

Warriors, the Equity Act being considered in DC hasn’t seen much action that We the People have been made aware of, but, before we assume this type of action will go away, we need to consider that any of the DC bills I’ve been studying could be rolled out anytime now..or, in the future. We’ve seen it happen way too many times in the past.

We also need to consider that embedded in BOTH bills is room for more federal funding to dictate what happens at State and local levels in education; that the Dept of Education will expand to ensure ‘equity’ is achieved. This will show up in anti-bullying, ‘safe schools’, and other ‘wrap around’ services. Every single one of these were mandated in ESSA using Title 1 funds. However, other Title funds would now be COMBINED to align learning to, not an equity-like level, but to a ‘one-way-to-learn-so-you-can-earn system’.

Closing:

Warriors, these tactics are directly taken from the UN-inspired SDG Toolkit created in the US back in the early 2000s. I’ve shared this Toolkit many times.

We need to understand that S 1241 and HR 3828 use ‘equity’. Both use ‘equality’. We’ve seen how the two are NOT the same, do not mean the same, and, should not be interchangeably used! Yet, bill after bill from the federal level continues to use double speak.

The Warrior’s Accoutrements

Today’s article will feature a variety of informational tools you can use (aka ‘accoutrements’) for our continued War vs. the Core.

Money Talks In This War:

1) ICYMI: My no-holes-barred look into President Trump’s Proposed Budget. The CCSS Machine’s education reform takes money to keep up its agenda. Our government has been a party to this for long enough. If we are to see the end of Common Core during Mr. Trump’s service, we MUST use truthful evidence to hold ALL of D.C. accountable, not just a select few.

2) My 7 page “Anti Fed Ed Common Core and all Its Related Activities” document. Within these 7 pages is a breakdown of priorities, we as Warriors must address surrounding the federal budget. See: AntiFedEdCommonCoreandallItsRelatedActivities

Within Mr. Trump’s plans, I found 85 ways his requests KEEP the CCSS Machine going. My priorities list gives you a mountain of accoutrements to use, just look for the highlighted words, you’ll be able to access years worth of researched evidence to support the priorities.
We have no time to waste in crunching numbers to wipe out nationally led education.
(*Note: Mr. Trump’s Proposal must be approved by Congress. We’ve also yet to see what Congress has laid out for education reform.)

As we learned before, all federal Cabinet Departments are in on the transforming education from academic based to workforce training.

Control From Above:

1) ‘New’ State Templates for Writing Your ‘Own’ ESSA Plans.
Yes, my Warrior friends, the U.S. Dept. of Ed recently released an updated version for how our States should formulate their educational plans. However, with the first ESSA deadline a few days away (April 3, 2018), how much difference is really in the new version? If a State is to be free enough to formulate its own education plan, is the Dept. of Ed still micromanaging?
ICYMI, the press release is embedded above. I include it so you can not only read the ‘feel good’ language  has chosen, but you can see embedded links to the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), Great Schools of America, etc.
(*Note: In the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s letter to the CCSSO, you’ll find how DeVos chose to promote a ‘concerted effort’ between States and the organization.)

2) CCSSO, AdvancEd, and the Aspen Institute
Back in Sept. 2016, North Dakota Dept. of Public Instruction staff traveled to a CCSSO Meeting held in Atlanta, GA. As it happened, AdvancED was also holding a Symposium which fit right in with this meeting.  AdvancED even suggested you do some pre-Symposium reading. The goal of the Syposium? To supply State leaders with pre-formatted State Plans devoloped by AdvancED .
The topic of both the CCSSO’s and AdvancEd’s meetings? ESSA Implementation at the State level. While I’ve been unsuccessful in finding evidence of the CCSSO’s meeting held at the same time. I did find the ND notes about the meeting. See below:

Not long after the duo of CCSSO/AdvancEd influence over our State Education leaders, CCSSO teamed up with the Aspen Institute for another ESSA ‘guiding tool’.
Warriors, for us, it’s an accoutrement! How? It reveals how these pro CCSS groups are telling States how to act, what to do, what to say, and where to seek help.


What About Asssesments?

, it’s no secret we’re in the ‘opt out’ season. We’ve seen the ESSA evidence about keeping the 95 percent assessment rate. States, via ESSA’s mandates, will include the participation rates.

Where? In the State’s accountability reports. States will have to turn these into the U.S. Dept. of Ed. Why? To keep receiving state-formulated grants.

1) An accoutrement we can use is the Fair Test’s latest on why and how to ‘opt out’. However, this comes with a warning. Fair Test is backed by the CCSS Machine and is tied to the New World Order Foundation. Much of the ideology held by NWOF is tied back to the global mindset found in the UN (United Nations). National Education Association (NEA) is also a key backer for Fair Test. Taking into consideration how sold out to the CCSS Machine and ESSA, the NEA is, don’t trust their advice!

2) What about the global push for assessing education?
Warriors, we know Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) isn’t  going away. PISA is a tool of the OCED (Organisation for Co-operation and Economic Development). OCED loves to work with the UN.
Here’s an accoutrement you can use. The Center for Curriculum Redesign (CCR), has published a series of articles about the need for MORE skill based assessments. This is only one part of the puzzle the CCSS Machine uses for advancing CBE (Competency Based Education)

I found out about this when a stranger posted to my Common Core Diva Facebook page with the message to help save future doctors, workers, etc. Since I’d never heard of this person before, I wanted to check it out. Here’s the article. Below, see the screen shot from the end of the competency based assessment article. I’ve underlined 4 easily identifiable CCSS Machine supporters.

The CCR has 2 ‘must have’ accoutrements. The first addresses the 21st Century need for more assessments. The second addresses the workforce/skill based ‘needs’.
Why these are such a prize set of accoutrements is they are designed leaders and the more corporate minded education reformer. These will tell us what is coming and how our students will be over-assessed to fit a job slot, not their minds.
(*Note, Warriors, take your time exploring the CCR’s website. You’ll find international education groups, participating countries (example: Finland, which may be why we’re constantly comparing America to them), corporate partners, philanthropic groups, and more.)

How the CCSS Machine is acting over ESSA.

To you, my fellow anti CCSS Warriors, I salute your diligence in fighting the overreach of Common Core, Competency Based Education, Career Tech Ed, College/Career Readiness, and all that goes with them for the Workforce based education system we see happening every day.

I congratulate you on your use of patriotism to see that the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is a farce for American education.

However, we have much to do. Why? As I shared in my ‘Weekend News’, the full U.S. Senate will either confirm or deny Dr. John King as the Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Ed. on March 9th, 2016. But, there is MORE!

How the Anti CCSS Warriors are acting over the ESSA.

 

The List of ESSA Fools:

Not that we don’t already know there are lots of ESSA fools, but for a refresher, here are the groups of a newly formed coalition, Sen. Alexander revealed have already begun working hard of revamping education to fit the ESSA. (Source: the Senate HELP Committee Hearing from 2/25/16)
National Governors Association, The National Educators Association, School Superintendents Association (aka: American Association of School Administrators),
American Federation of Teachers, National Conference of State Legislators, National Association for the State Boards of Education, The National School Boards Association, National Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals, the National Teachers Association, and with the support of the Chief Council of State School Officers.

Why are they fools? First, they are well known CCSS Machine members. Secondly, they all have gone out of their way to align education and lie about how great the alignment is. Their third foolish action? Helping spread the misinformation about the ESSA and the return of the States sovereignty in education.

Leading this fools battalion? The U.S. Congress and the mainstream media! Has the misinformation worked? Absolutely!

 

The Focus of the Anti CCSS Warriors:

From the time the ESSA was voted on and passed into law, our sole focus has been exposing the TRUTH about how the federal government, NOT the States will run education.

From today forward, you, the Anti CCSS Warrior, will have a document with proof of just how the federal government has hidden this control in plain sight. This document is one I created for my state’s legislators. I share it with you so you can continue (or begin) to help your legislators see the TRUTH. As always, in this War Against the Core, we don’t have much time.

Our actions MUST be planned well, carried out with purpose, and focused on our target: Ending federal control of education. The document is titled ‘ESSA Proof of National Control, Not State Control’. It is an “Open Office Document” which will download to your computer first, then you should be able to open it successfully. Be a ‘modern day Martin Luther’ and nail this document on the legislators doors!

Closing:

Anti CCSS Warriors, this is the time to be radical, not shy. This is the time to strike fear into the Senate’s direction. They seek re-election. They won’t get our votes should they confirm Dr. King. While I am not suggesting physical aggression toward another person, I am suggesting we use a ‘hostage-like attitude’ toward the process of Dr. King’s confirmation. We have the POWER, not Congress. It is time we use that power to its fullest!

It is STILL a government of the people, for the people, and by the people!

Oh, and one last thought, while you contemplate whom to NOT vote for, 19 of the 22 members of the U.S. Senate HELP Committee voted FOR the ESSA!
