“The Prudence Files, Part One”

Greetings, Anti Fed Ed Warriors, welcome to my latest series. All this week, we’ll look at the 2020 Presidential race.

“Prudent decision making” is key when exercising our right to vote. Being prudent is also associated with the roots of wisdom.

A Starting Point:

Warriors, let’s face it, the 2020 Presidential race is already crowded. By looking at the candidates NOW, we have a great opportunity to use our voices to SHAPE the race.

What I will NOT be doing in this series: telling you whom to choose. That is not my business nor place. I simply want to give you information no one else will dare. I will spare no candidate.

Why? Information, in our case, Warriors, is teamwork.
It’s teamwork we need and teamwork is how we work best when arming Warriors against federal education intrusions.***

We should use our prudence to back up our feelings we felt right after ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was passed. 

Against-Common-Core-and-VoteThe Issues:

Warriors, according to the website called the “Top Tens”, the 2020 key issues are:
1) Nuclear Weapons, 2) the Middle Class, 3) War, 4) Health Care, 5) the Environment, 6) Education, 7) the National Debt, 8) Gun Violence, 9) Immigration, and, 10) Abortion.

The Top Tens author did boldly point out that education should be the #1 issue, but as I’ve learned in researching the candidates, for many, it isn’t even on their ‘radars’. So, they lack prudence in education, right off the bat.

Warriors, in fact, many have placed the Green Deal and/or Climate Change as their #1 issue. As we know, I’ve shown you how the Climate Change and Green Deal overreach into education.

Warriors, as you see the very Anti Fed Ed action of voting ‘no’ is at the center of the knot. Very prudent, but notice the outlying points. These are what detract from the prudence.

Harris:
Other non-prudent moves by Sen. Harris include Medicaid for All (funds used in education are included), expanding early childhood education, embedding 21st Century Skills, keeping national testing, and expanding Higher Education. (*Note: other education stances can be found here.)

The Other Federal Candidates Who May Join The Race:

Warriors, here are the other federal (current or former) leaders from DC, VP Joe Biden, Rep. Eric Swalwell, Sen. Michael Bennet, Rep. Seth Moulton, and former Sec. of State, John Kerry.

What ties to the CCSS Machine do these people have? Biden (LGBTQ education for all, Big Labor/Unions, CTE); Swalwell said ‘yes’ to ESSA; Bennet also said ‘yes’; Moulton said ‘yes’ and has added green jobs, STEM, and CTE to his stance; Kerry is tied to the Clintons and received campaign donations at one time from (then, citizen) Donald Trump.

Sens. Sanders, Klobuchar, Warren, Booker, and, Harris were among the Senate co-sponsors of S 461 which seeks to improve education outcomes for HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). The Bill has passed the entire Senate and is now in the House’s Education and Labor Committee. In 2017, I showed you how HBCUs were being targeted by the Ford Foundation (CCSS Machine member) for STEM.

Senator Bennet
is the co-sponsor of S 381 which would amend the HEA for NASA (STEM) based resources. He also is a co-sponsor of S 876 which will provide STEM jobs for our military veterans. Bennet is also a co-sponsor of S 317 and S 468. S 317 will amend the Social Security Act to increase children’s mental health in wrap around services. S 468 will require schools to partner with mental health services.

Pardon Me?!

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, there have been so many topics I’ve covered over the past few years about the terrible overreach into our kids’ lives. Some of these topics have made me very angry. Some have broken my heart. Today’s? ‘Incensed’ would be a fitting description.

What would possibly have me upset? Recently, there’s been some discussion over State led sex education, but what about sex education legislation in Congress? Is there such? Is this what is driving the States? Not so recent (2015), I gave you an in-depth look at how Title 9’s rewording helped open Pandora’s box for sex education in our States.

I’ll admit, I’m not the first to discuss the CCSS Machine’s misinformation and inappropriateness of sex education in the classrooms. We’ve also seen how after school programs include sex education have negatively left their mark on families across the nation. However, it’s time we see what the current group of Congressional members is up to when it comes to sex education.

Meet HR 3602 and S 1653, Real Education for Healthy Youth Act of 2017:

To read HR 3602 or S 1653, click on your choice. They are identical twin bills. While both have been in their Committee appointments since their introduction, we should note that these could become active at any time. In all the 34 pages of either Bill, you’ll see a thread of ‘school safety’ woven throughout. With the current events we are seeing focusing on ‘school safety’ we should be on notice. Why? ‘School safety’ encompasses a LARGE area of education.

Warriors, one more time (or in this case, twice), the ‘sense of Congress’ is used in laying out the parameters for sex education contained in HR 3602 and S 1653. Not to be too simple, but haven’t we suffered enough illegally based education overreach as a result of the ‘sense of Congress’ to last a lifetime?!

Excuse me, but “NO!”, Congress, I DO NOT want your ‘sense’ to mandate what Johnny and Suzy learn about sex. I think if you ask the majority of taxpayers, they would also say “No!”.

The Language For Sex Education:

Beginning on Page 4 of either Bill, here are the things every federally funded sex education program should have (or as it is written, ‘should aim for’):

a) Cover a wide range of sex topics (like human development, healthy relationships, personal skills, abstinence, preventing unwanted pregnancies, preventing sexual diseases, and sex in culture and society.)
b) How to have safe and healthy relationships
c) Promote gender equality
d) Use the best scientific resources available to teach A-C topics
e) Have everyone in education appropriate with gender identities, gender expressions, etc.
f) Use the best-practices approach for E
g) Will ‘evaluate’ effective sex education and expand the body of research used, as needed
h) Expand teacher preparation/training in comprehensive sex education
i) Build a stronger sex education program based off existing ones found from the SSA (Social Security Act) and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control)
j) Promote and uphold the students rights concerning their sexual choices

Warriors, we’re also told what federally funded sex education programs CANNOT contain. There are 8 items:
1) Withholding life saving or health-promoting information about any sexuality topic (including HIV)
2) Medically inaccurate or not effective
3) Promote gender or race stereotypes
4) Insensitive or non responsive to a youth’s sexual activities
5) Insensitive or disrespectful toward survivors of sexual harm
6) Insensitive towards youth of all needs (including physical, mental, or developmental) or abilities
7) Insensitive towards youth and their gender expression, identity, or sexual orientation
8) Doesn’t comply with ethical public health or medical imperatives.

Page 6 is where you’ll find the grant awards/details for receiving them for adolescent sex education. Over on Page 13, you’ll find the grant awards/details for receiving them for higher education. 

Among the details for those young students? 
From the bottom  of Page 8 to the top of Page 9:
“substantially incorporates elements of evidence-based sex education instruction; or 
(D) creates a demonstration project based on characteristics of effective programs.”

, remember, this is for children under the age of 21!

(*Note, Pages 9 – mid 13 lay out exactly what comprehensive sex education is. Please,  read these items for yourselves so you can get the full picture as to what students will learn and what people are to be involved.)

If you have a student (or are one) in higher education, including those who are earning a degree in education, the details begin mid Page 13 and extend to Page 20 (ends mid page). Warriors, these requirements are VERY concerning!

The Sex Ed Evaluation (aka ‘student data rape’):

Warriors, I’m embarrassed to share these next few items. I’m so upset that our taxpayer dollars even were used in conjunction to the making of these caveats of legislation.
However, if we are to fight the War Vs the Core, we need to know all the facts, not just the ones which are pleasing.

According to the section for evaluating comprehensive sex education (across the board), massive amounts of data will be needed. If ever the reality of the severity of ‘student data rape’ needs to be seen, it is within HR 3062 and S 1635, you’ll find it.

For starters, third party non profits will be contractually bound to conduct the evaluations and collect the data. Then, the collection must meet nationally set technology standards, use behavior science evaluation techniques, incorporate quasi-experimental designs for drawing conclusive results. (you can find the exact language on Page 21)

Oh, and student outcomes which are measured?! Number of hours for instruction of comprehensive sex education; the student’s growth, development, and relationship dynamics; how well the student can prevent unwanted pregnancy, sexual diseases; how well the student understands their sexual health; will the students be able to set goals, make decisions, communicate well, negotiate well; will the student be capable to have great interpersonal relationships and have healthy ones; can the student effectively use a condom, what was the age of their first sexual intercourse, what type of contraception or condom is being used, dating history, sexual harassment or attacks, and, last on the list?…. Academic performance!

As far as the public receiving this type of student information, it will be made available in 6 years and after the data has been shared everywhere it can be in DC. What will those third party contractors do with the data? Just guess, Warriors.

Closing:

Warriors,  this is not the first time the Real Education for Healthy Youth Act has been introduced, but it is the latest. According to the  Human Rights Campaign website, HR 3026 and S 1635 are not only much needed, but absolutely imperative to have as federal law. If you read the Human Rights Campaign article, notice the national and global groups which have been pressing for this type of federal law for a few years.

Future Lawyers addressed only the health aspect of the Real Education for Healthy Youth Act by summing it up that teen pregnancy in the US should drop. Not one word about the fact the Bills state that the U.S. Dept. of Education is also heavily involved.

Pardon me, Warriors, but the last folks who should be in charge of sex education is Congress or anyone in DC. They can’t handle their own sex lives without scandal, but, somehow we can trust they have our student’s best interests at heart?

Health + Education doesn’t equal as much learning as the CCSS Machine wants us to believe at any point in time. Health + Education DOES equal values, attitudes, and beliefs that ECHO federal government, NOT the family’s personal choices.

Do we need sex education? When appropriately conducted, yes! Do we need the federal government running it? Absolutely not!

The Road Ahead

To my fellow anti Fed Ed Warriors, we find that February 2017 is winding down. It’s been a busy month for us. We’ve seen education history made, we’ve uncovered new evidence that our American education is disappearing into the global landscape, and we are about to see what OTHER moves our U.S. Congress is making to continue its ‘Educated Workforce’  shift via CTE, Career Tech Education, CP, Career Pathways, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and CC (Career Clusters).

We’ve Seen The Road Behind Us, What’s Ahead?

Currently, Warriors, Congress has several Workforce/Education Bills which have been introduced. From this group, most are in Committees. Below, the most concerning.

HR 52, “Earn While You Learn” or “Jobs, On-the-Job  ‘Earn While You Learn’ Training, and Apprenticeships for African-American Young Men Act”.  This Bill targets the African American male population (ages 18 to 39) while rebuilding America’s infrastructure. HR 52 will bring in skill based apprenticeships. The CCSS Machine also includes apprenticeships. Many of America’s Labor Unions are also named in this Bill.
Labor Unions have strong ties with the U.S. Dept. of Labor. Some of them also support Common Core. During the previous Administration’s term, CTE, The Dept. of Labor, and some specific Unions joined forces for aligning education to workforce needs. 

HR56, “America RISING” or “America Realizing the Informational Skills and Initiative of New Graduates Act of 2017”, will strengthen STEM in the workforce. You won’t see STEM as it is written, but you will see the components of it. Here’s an excerpt,  “Enabling recent college graduates to obtain employment with small businesses benefits the national economy by providing such businesses the human capital and technical expertise needed to compete and win in the global economy of the 21st century.”
You also need to know the ‘tag team’ of the U.S. Departments of Labor/Education will work together to make this Bill a reality.

S144, “Promise Zone Job Creation Act of 2017”, this Bill amends an IRS tax code to pave the way for creating more Promise Zone Neighborhoods. Several of the federal agencies already in the CCSS Machine’s grasp are involved in the designation of where new Promise Zones will be. This means data tracking, mining, and sharing; it means aligned education for workforce needs; and, manipulating communities. Promise Zones were codified as federal law when ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act was passed.) If you missed my article tying Promise Zones to more than ESSA, find it here.

Road Trip to President’s Desk:

H.R.321“Inspiring the Next Space Pioneers, Innovators, Researchers, and Explorers  Women Act” or “INSPIRE Act” is on its way to becoming a federal law. It also has a sister Senate Bill, S42. These two Bills target women as well as young boys and girls for STEM, espcially with NASA. If you are not sure how NASA is sold out to Common Core , see this.

Future Road Trip Stops:

HR280, amends the WIOA of 2014 (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) and supposedly will help dislocated workers find new jobs or start a small business. Why this bears watching: a) what part of taxpayer funds will be used for education/training and b) what part of the ‘consulting’ to take place will use data tracking/mining. If you missed how WIOA, ESSA, and Higher Education Act (HEA) are intertwined, look here.

HR159, if you have anyone interested in zoology, veterinarians, or wildlife study as an early college, college, graduate or higher education degree, you’ll want to see how they will be ‘encouraged’ to strengthen the workforce. The Depts. of Interior, Education, and Labor are connected to this Bill.

HR49, this Bill would create jobs while tapping into America’s natural oil and gas supply in Alaska. As we know, many Alaskans are Native Americans. Much of Alaska is also protected land via the U.S. National Parks. This Bill combines the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Dept. of the Interior, the Dept. of Labor, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife. Anytime you see ‘job creation’ remember that education/skill based workforce will be in the mix somewhere. No exceptions. If you missed how the Native Americans have been ensnared in the CCSS Machine, find that here. (HR228 is closely related. Called the “Indian Employment, Training and Related Services Consolidation Act of 2017”, it amends a 1992 version. Education for workforce is included. The Senate has a sister bill.)

Other job creation/education related Bills:

HR353 (weather/science, STEM workforce)
S129 (Sea Colleges/oceans, STEM workforce)
HR533 (creates jobs/sets corporate income tax rates based off OECD, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development information; watch for public/private partnerships for education/jobs)
HR272 (Amends Title 20 of the Social Security Act for grants to create jobs. Also involves education. The Depts. of Labor, Commerce, and Education are cited)
HR338 (creates 21st Century  jobs for manufacturing and energy. Educated, skill based workers are the target results)
HR419 allows for manufacturing businesses which help pay for education/training to have tax credits)
HR150 (amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to have skilled/specialized temporary workers.Ironically it is called the “Protect and Grow American Jobs Act”)
HR758 (targets U.S. Veterans for career transitions. Veterans and their educational funds are tied into Perkins Funding which is what CTE is also tied to in post-secondary institutions)
HR328 (also targets our U.S. Service men and women. This one will steer them toward STEM via renewable energy jobs)

Closing:

Warriors, time and time again,  we’ve connected the CCSS Machine to the UN/UNESCO shift toward global education. A big component of global education is STEM. STEM wraps up the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals rather ‘nicely’.

As I look back on the above Bills, I see a host of STEM, CTE, and a sad road of aligned education for workforce based drudgery for our nation.
