The Warrior’s Accoutrements

Today’s article will feature a variety of informational tools you can use (aka ‘accoutrements’) for our continued War vs. the Core.

Money Talks In This War:

1) ICYMI: My no-holes-barred look into President Trump’s Proposed Budget. The CCSS Machine’s education reform takes money to keep up its agenda. Our government has been a party to this for long enough. If we are to see the end of Common Core during Mr. Trump’s service, we MUST use truthful evidence to hold ALL of D.C. accountable, not just a select few.

2) My 7 page “Anti Fed Ed Common Core and all Its Related Activities” document. Within these 7 pages is a breakdown of priorities, we as Warriors must address surrounding the federal budget. See: AntiFedEdCommonCoreandallItsRelatedActivities

Within Mr. Trump’s plans, I found 85 ways his requests KEEP the CCSS Machine going. My priorities list gives you a mountain of accoutrements to use, just look for the highlighted words, you’ll be able to access years worth of researched evidence to support the priorities.
We have no time to waste in crunching numbers to wipe out nationally led education.
(*Note: Mr. Trump’s Proposal must be approved by Congress. We’ve also yet to see what Congress has laid out for education reform.)

As we learned before, all federal Cabinet Departments are in on the transforming education from academic based to workforce training.

1) ‘New’ State Templates for Writing Your ‘Own’ ESSA Plans.
Yes, my Warrior friends, the U.S. Dept. of Ed recently released an updated version for how our States should formulate their educational plans. However, with the first ESSA deadline a few days away (April 3, 2018), how much difference is really in the new version? If a State is to be free enough to formulate its own education plan, is the Dept. of Ed still micromanaging?
ICYMI, the press release is embedded above. I include it so you can not only read the ‘feel good’ language  has chosen, but you can see embedded links to the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), Great Schools of America, etc.

2) CCSSO, AdvancEd, and the Aspen Institute
Back in Sept. 2016, North Dakota Dept. of Public Instruction staff traveled to a CCSSO Meeting held in Atlanta, GA. As it happened, AdvancED was also holding a Symposium which fit right in with this meeting.  AdvancED even suggested you do some pre-Symposium reading. The goal of the Syposium? To supply State leaders with pre-formatted State Plans devoloped by AdvancED .
The topic of both the CCSSO’s and AdvancEd’s meetings? ESSA Implementation at the State level. While I’ve been unsuccessful in finding evidence of the CCSSO’s meeting held at the same time. I did find the ND notes about the meeting. See below:

Not long after the duo of CCSSO/AdvancEd influence over our State Education leaders, CCSSO teamed up with the Aspen Institute for another ESSA ‘guiding tool’.
Warriors, for us, it’s an accoutrement! How? It reveals how these pro CCSS groups are telling States how to act, what to do, what to say, and where to seek help.


What About Asssesments?

, it’s no secret we’re in the ‘opt out’ season. We’ve seen the ESSA evidence about keeping the 95 percent assessment rate. States, via ESSA’s mandates, will include the participation rates.

Where? In the State’s accountability reports. States will have to turn these into the U.S. Dept. of Ed. Why? To keep receiving state-formulated grants.

1) An accoutrement we can use is the Fair Test’s latest on why and how to ‘opt out’. However, this comes with a warning. Fair Test is backed by the CCSS Machine and is tied to the New World Order Foundation. Much of the ideology held by NWOF is tied back to the global mindset found in the UN (United Nations). National Education Association (NEA) is also a key backer for Fair Test. Taking into consideration how sold out to the CCSS Machine and ESSA, the NEA is, don’t trust their advice!

2) What about the global push for assessing education?
Warriors, we know Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) isn’t  going away. PISA is a tool of the OCED (Organisation for Co-operation and Economic Development). OCED loves to work with the UN.
Here’s an accoutrement you can use. The Center for Curriculum Redesign (CCR), has published a series of articles about the need for MORE skill based assessments. This is only one part of the puzzle the CCSS Machine uses for advancing CBE (Competency Based Education)

I found out about this when a stranger posted to my Common Core Diva Facebook page with the message to help save future doctors, workers, etc. Since I’d never heard of this person before, I wanted to check it out. Here’s the article. Below, see the screen shot from the end of the competency based assessment article. I’ve underlined 4 easily identifiable CCSS Machine supporters.

The CCR has 2 ‘must have’ accoutrements. The first addresses the 21st Century need for more assessments. The second addresses the workforce/skill based ‘needs’.
Why these are such a prize set of accoutrements is they are designed leaders and the more corporate minded education reformer. These will tell us what is coming and how our students will be over-assessed to fit a job slot, not their minds.
(*Note, Warriors, take your time exploring the CCR’s website. You’ll find international education groups, participating countries (example: Finland, which may be why we’re constantly comparing America to them), corporate partners, philanthropic groups, and more.)

To my fellow Anti CCSS/Fed Led Ed Warriors, I have gathered the following miscellaneous Pro Common Core fodder. Why? Since ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is now law, the propaganda from the CCSS Machine is working overtime to produce as much BS as it can.

If you haven’t seen the following items, you should! While the false facts are flying, we have to work HARDER to share the truth! Is this a challenge? Of course it is! Can we do it?! Sure we can!! Share this article with other anti CCSS/Fed Led Ed Warriors, discuss what you can do to help those in your area find out what REALLY is going on, not what the CCSS Machine cronies say!!

First up, the President of the NEA (National Educators Association) gives us a rundown of all teachers do in today’s classrooms. Notice where the true education ends up in her list. Notice the arrogance in her face as she runs down this list and then remember ALL the latest CCSS Machine moves, resources, and legislation which has been produced in the name of parental right being usurped or taken away! It is no wonder the CCSS Machine claims kids don’t need parents!

Secondly, as one of my fellow Anti CCSS Warriors stated, ‘who needs the truth, it just gets ignored.’ This particular video gives us a look into MORE of what is happening in our schools. I guess the NEA failed to mention this on their snarky list.

Third, The ESSA has embedded a tremendous amount of behavior modification activities, supportive programs and services, as well as other RTI (Response to Invertion) methods. Yet, it spite of it, the real evidence is coming out…RTIs are NOT working!! Yet, MORE are being planned, created, and will be used!! I hope you will continue to help me raise as much awareness to what the REAL truths are about the ESSA. Do not be discouraged if you feel NO ONE is listening. Among the Warriors, we have heard the term ‘crickets’ when we think no one cares.

It is easy to believe no one is hearing you, especially when life is so busy. However, please know that your voice is probably being heard by someone. It is your voice those around you need to hear LOUDER than those spewing lies and making light of how our educational system in being ruined and transformed into a nanny’s house. Remember, to speak LOUDER doesn’t mean we have to shout, it just means we have to use a firm, knowledge based voice.

To say something is fine, but to have the actual language and what it means is what will make your voices BOOM! Still not sure about HOW you can make a BOOMING voice without yelling? Look at the screen shot above. That is a start. It gives the specific sections you can point others to. Think your legislative/local leaders have actually read the over 1,000 page ESSA Report OR the almost 400 page ESSA Law? I doubt it. Why? If they had, they would be jumping up and down with anger of just how this Law will HARM America, not FIX it! CCSS/UNESCO Ideology, Anyone?

It’s a great day to be alive and fighting for the RIGHT kind of education for our students, don’t you think? I do! As an Anti Common Core Warrior, I have the privilege of working with some of the MOST patriotic, dynamic, and dedicated people I have ever met.

Warriors, just because the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is now law is NOT the time to back down from our fight for our students. It is a time to step up and fight for our nation!

What do I mean? We have seen time and time again, evidence which points out in great detail how anti-American our textbooks, on-line courses, and everything related is becoming. We also know, that the importance of being ‘globally competent’, or a global citizen is also gaining momentum via the Common Core Standards, the College and Career Readiness Standards, or any of the other names the alignment is hiding behind. How? The United Nations as well as the UNESCO overreach into American education (at all levels and available to every school choice).

The Project Veritas (PV) folks broke their 3rd anti CCSS video earlier today and has helped expose the anti-American ideology in our schools!! We have seen countless other examples of this via social media well before this breaking news. However, their news is HUGE for the reasons below:
1) This 3rd video also verifies the twisted AP (Advanced Placement) U.S. History rewriting!
2) The importance of the PV undercover work is we now have people who are responsible being identified! We can now have the face and name of someone who has helped the CCSS Machine ruin our educational system. Why is this important? Testimony!!
3) It also absolutely confirms all the evidence we have seen in our students’ homework. I am so thrilled the undercover reports are surfacing. Please, share with everyone! All this said, we know that there is even more anti-American/global citizen out there in our society, most especially our schools. Here is what I found recently….

 

2003 Ideology?!:

What if I told you I found some global ideology from before CCSS’s supposed implementation date? Recently, as I was preparing for a very important presentation before a great group of concerned citizens, I got out my CCSS filled collection of textbooks (would you believe parents are still asking to see textbooks so they can know what is in them?). Among them is the Teacher guide, Student Textbook, and the complimenting Workbooks for a NC (North Carolina) specific Social Studies book titled “Horizons”. This particular set I have was published in 2003.  But that is not why I had the set. It was the publisher’s name! I knew, from all the years of research that Harcourt (as in Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt) was a sold out provider of Common Core Standards. (See PV’s first video revelation from one of their, now, ex-employees).

Most of us have assumed most textbooks prior to about 2008 were ‘safe’ (as far as indoctrinating materials tied to the CCSS). So, image my surprise when I stumbled upon what you see below:

Wait a minute, Lynne..You said ‘CCSS indoctrination’, the picture says ‘UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) ideology’! Are these related? Are they the same?  Let’s find out. In a set of points, I can point you to how the CCSS and the UNESCO ideology and the indoctrination have been with us longer than we first thought. (Please let me state I am certainly not the first one to discover the connections, nor will I be the last. It just seems fitting to show that as early as 2003, our states were laying foundations of alignment we didn’t see before us.)

*Notice the textbook uses “Citizenship”, “Common Good”, and “Democratic Values” as the main points. In an Constitutionally honoring education, our students would know that America is a Republic, NOT a democracy!

*Notice the name of the school in the feature box, ‘Farmington Woods Elementary’. It is a public school in the Wake County (NC) Public School System (one of the most CCSS friendly school systems in the entire state). See the website,  http://www.wcpss.net/farmingtonwoodses

*Notice the IB-PYP (International Baccalaureate-Primary Years Programme (International English spelling)

*As an UNESCO created school, IB-PYP Programs are for students ages 3 to 12 years. As a globally minded school, any ideology will be UNESCO in nature, not American! There is a 3 step goal cycle the IB-PYP has. It is called the IB Global Action Cycle. ‘Reflect, Choose, and Act’.

*According the the IB Schools website, the IB-PYP prepares students, 3 years to 12 years, to become active, caring, and, lifelong learners. They are to respect themselves as well as others. That all sounds nice, right? The website goes on to explain what this respect means. (paraphrasing is mine) Being involved in the world. Of course the goal of all this ideology is to educate the ‘whole child’.

If your school wishes to become part of the UNESCO led IB schools, your school must be authorized to do so. The IB-PYP education framework is as follows: Knowledge, Concept, Skills, Attitudes, and Actions. The 5 rigor pillars of an international education. Want to learn more? *That ‘lifelong learning’? Which we have heard the CCSS Machine grind out in so many ways? Not only will you find it in the UNESCO and IB ideology, but in the new ESSA law (Every Student Succeeds Act), too.  It will continue to be a banner buzz phrase in ‘College and Career Readiness’, too! How will this connect to the ESSA? Informal or non-formal learning via educational facilities,  learning settings and their education related services, groups,  and/or activities. Answering the Question:
So are the CCSS indoctrination and the UNESCO ideology the same or related? It is my researched evidence which points to a simple, ‘yes’. Now, a more in-depth answer is also from evidence based research, in a multitude of ways they are related. (after all Gates signed a 2004 agreement with UNESCO to create a one world curriculum.
