Is “Self-Direction” Innovation?

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’re closing out May 2019 with some updates on the SOSO (‘same ole same old’) educratic BS from the CCSS Machine

In my last article, it was educratic BS in DC to ‘shut down’ the U.S. Dept. of Education by not really closing it, but scattering it like dust to the wind.

How so? Remember, that about the time DeVos was in Argentina with the G20 Education Summit, I showed you how the Y20 and L20 (Youth 20 and Labor 20) arms of the G20 (Group of 20 nations) had embedded the merging of education AND labor into one giant department? By ‘shutting’ U.S. Ed down, the merger would be one step closer to completion here in the U.S.
(*Note: the Y20 called the shift ‘innovation’. The GU (Generation Unlimited) calls the shift ‘quality education and training.)

Warrior Observation:
How anyone in Congress thinks this type of innovation is getting rid of federal control of our education system is beyond me. How any citizen would choose to believe the SOSO, is also, beyond comprehension.

follyfool

Self-Direction (AKA: Personalized Learning) is “Innovation”:

Warriors, we KNOW PL (Personalized Learning) is also a CCSS Machine farce. However, many parents are being deceived by State level leaders that self-directed learning is not only the best wave of innovation, it’s the best tool to guide their future.

thinknot

The reality? Self-direction and personalized learning guide students (via massive data mining and algorithms) to a predestined track that a test/assessment lays out. NOT the personal choice of Johnny and/or Suzy.

deludeded

So, if we KNOW this, how is the deception still being carried out?

The short answer: Global agenda in US legislation.
The longer answer: American parents and taxpayers are ignored and our freedoms muted.

Where will we find this deceptive agenda?

The short answer: All around us, especially in learning.
The longer answer: Hidden in our State’s plans at the federal government’s direction.

decright

Warriors
, let’s remember one key item about ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act): “Innovation” in learning, teaching, measuring (testing), was part of the entire goal in having the law passed.

Basically, our Congress ‘bet the farm’ against our kids by passing this. They also betrayed us, as parents and taxpayers.

What’s Your State “Innovating”:

Chillingly, our States are taking the federal Congressional cue to use innovation to usurp a student’s entire life. No longer is the concern academics, but now, using innovation to micromanage mental health. So much so, you have States begging leaders within their borders to misuse Medicaid funds.*
(* More about that in a moment.)

Why would your State ‘play such a harlot’?  Well, several reasons.
A) Because the States have to answer to their master, the federal government and the global agenda. (We must be ’21st Century Ready for the global community/economy, after all.)
B) Because the States have become addicted to so much funding, the sheer amounts have blurred the vision of those in charge. (If your State is like mine, simple improved management of funds would prove federal funds are not needed, as well as adhere our actions to the legality of the U.S. Constitution and federal laws prohibiting ANY form of federal overreach.)
C) Because the leaders are either fully aware of their deceptions or have become so jaded, they no longer care for WE the People. (Can’t line your pockets with good intentions and get re-elected, nope, got to succumb to the campaign corporate donors.)
D) Because your student/child is no longer respected as a human, but rather, a return on investment. (Can anyone say ‘indentured servitude’?)

Misused Medicaid:

Warriors, from ND, this screen shot of a 32 page Final Report (Dec. 2018) on Innovation for education.

NDinnovate

From PA, long time Anti Fed Ed Warrior, Anita Hoge’s latest article lays out the cold hearted moves this type of Medicaid misuse looks like in the classroom. Anita ties the federal overreaches right back into the global agenda found in the UN (United Nations) and groups like the G20.

tamaranita
(Interview link)

From NC, where I live, the Innovation Project (TIP) encompasses virtual education as well as homeschooling families. Words fail to express the disgust I feel for this blatant overreach into our families.

Now, my dear followers and Warriors, think about how all this misuse geared toward our student’s thinking and behavior will make them much more pliable. The more conforming they are, the easier it is to pigeonhole (more tests determine this) them into what the government thinks education is, not what you, the parent or taxpayer needs education to be.

All Education IS…

Warriors, as if what’s above isn’t terrible enough, my fellow Warrior, Alex Newman, just published an article where none other than Betsy DeVos has declared that “all education is public education”.  In his article, he ties this back to the G20 Agreement DeVos signed.

devospub

But, wait, Warriors, Rep. Foxx from NC has also declared what ‘all education’ is, too!

foxxed

Wait, though, my followers..is all education charter schools? Back in 2018, I showed you how the U.S. Dept. of Education was using the global workforce agenda (which CTE breeds) as an excuse to use charters to increase the levels of CTE and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) in education.

In 2018, the comparison between the US idea of what ‘education’ should be and what the UN expects education to be. Warriors, this will impact the re-authorization of the HEA (Higher Education Act).

From earlier this year, the difference between academics and ‘competency’ on a US/global scale.

What does President Trump think ‘all education’ is? Apprenticeship based (CTE and STEM)!

Closing:

Warriors, I’m sure about you, but all this ‘innovation’ is not helpful for our nation. We are seeing everyone BUT teachers define what ‘education’ is or isn’t. We see our students facing a future that, frankly, a strait-jacket laced one. Be sure to look at the ‘innovation’ link directly above. It’s for a conference held in the past few months. It’s all about innovation in education. Once you’ve looked, contact your leaders in your State. Give them an earful!

“The HC Police”

**Author’s Note: An in-depth report on S 406, the White House, Congress, and globalizing education expressly for workforce needs in a nanny controlled environment.**
*********************************************************

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, have you heard of S 406? It’s a federal Senate Bill which just passed the Senate floor. This means the next stop is in the House. What does S 406 do?

It isn’t what the Bill ‘does’, it’s what it creates..more federal control over us.

S 406 “Federal Rotational Cyber Workforce Program Act of 2019”:

This “Act” will create an executive agency filled with a “Chief Human Capital Officers Council”. The ‘cyber’ portion refers to the federal employees overseeing cyber security, data collection, and all that intersects them.

S 406 also embeds 2 previous laws.

The Chief Human Capital Officers were ‘created’ in an Act from 2002.

hcpolice
(Source)

Warriors, what do these Officers do? (I’m calling them the ‘HC Police’ or “Human Capital Police”.)
Basically: set a workforce development strategy; assess people and plan their future in the ‘policing’; align human resources to meet the ‘outcomes’ of the strategy; use ‘best practices’ and ‘benchmarked standards’; ‘measure the police’s intellectual capital’ and link data to performance and growth of their position.

If that sounds a bit confusing, think of it this way, those who are policing us have to be just as aligned and tested as our students. The biggest attraction for the “HC Police”? A love of data and computers. Which leads to ‘coding’. Cybersecurity thrives on coding.

Warriors, ‘coding’ is a tool of the CCSS Machine for students as young as preschool:

codebabies
(Original source, added emphasis is mine)
If you cannot read what’s in the red box, “Preschoolers are digital natives, they don’t know a life without smartphones, tablets, and computers; or cartoons on demand.” This website goes on to state that ‘coding’ isn’t just for older kids, and introduces the subject as a game.

Since coding exists to breed all kinds of workers who will track us to no end (aka ‘cybersecurity’, “IT”, etc.) there had to be a law for this special arm of the CCSS Machine’s agenda.

The Cyber Workforce? A 2015 Law ‘created’ that.

cyberwork

(Source)

Warriors, what does the existence of this law do? First, it was embedded in a budget (appropriations) law. Secondly, it set up a national initiative for cybersecurity education.
Third, because it’s a federal law which hasn’t been repealed, it’s active in 2019.

It embedded ‘coding’ as a way of life in education AND jobs. You’ll find ‘cyber’ is embedded in the budget law 428 times. ‘Education’ is embedded 280 times. Where the two intersect is in Section N. Pages 695-797 will show you the 14 ways in which education and the U. S. Dept. of Education were mandated.

But, wait, don’t we need protection from hackers? Isn’t that the main goal of cybersecurity? Warriors, protecting us from hackers is a goal, but not as much of the main goal as we’ve been told. Here’s what else this Cyber Workforce Assessment Act set us up for:

a) Cyber Corps Scholars (and scholarship programs) Ties it to the NSF (National Science Foundation) and the National Intelligence agencies.
b) Funds for cyber (on line) upgrades under ‘school improvement’, ‘school safety’, ‘education tech support’, redesigned schools, ‘safe schools’ and Project SERV
c) Will use SSI funds (tied to Title 1 and IDEA funds/programs)
d) Will use funds for health care (also ties to ‘c’)
e) Will track and involve the IES (Institute for Educational Sciences)
f) Impacts the Information and Education Exchange Act. This 1948 law is still in existence and set the framework for international information partnerships. Those partnerships in 2019? Data sharing across the globe! (See the section below for more information)
g) Forces all federal agencies directly involved in security or related to security to be involved in data sharing and collection. Said data will be available to third parties and private contractors of the agencies choosing.

UNdatatrack

So, since all this was previously set up, how will the 116th’s Congress Bill (S 406) increase any or all of the  laws above?

From the ‘HC Police’ stand point:
a) Rotates who’s watching us and tracking us.
b) Spreads the HC Police across all fed agencies.
c) The agencies determine position for HC Police within their domain.
d) All involved determine the level of watching/tracking.
e) U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security dictates all policies and procedures (updates as needed, if needed). Parts of the policies and procedures are Career Tracks in education (all levels).
f) Uses ‘accountability’ (tracking and assessments) to be transparent.
g) Fed agencies can partner HC Police and set policies/procedures.
h) Locks in merit based employment for each rotation (180-365 days).
i) Reports activities to GAO (Gen. Acct. Office). If GAO deems program a ‘success’ HC Police rotations may be extended.
j) Will assess HC Police for proficiency in IT and skill levels completed.
k) Gives a ‘sunset’ of 5 years from time of the Act becoming law. (Means ending in 2024)

Okay, Warriors, ask yourselves this: the U.S. Government has already set us up to be spied upon via the Patriot Act, FEPA (most recently). It’s been proven that the government is a TERRIBLE privacy keeper when it comes to our data, so HOW will having national HC Police improve our privacy?  Quite frankly, it won’t improve our privacy at all. It WILL confine us even more..and it’s in the House of Representatives for their tweaking or approval!

Think how the AI and 5G technologies are already ruining education, as well as our nation.

A Blast From Our Past:

The 1948 Information and Education Exchange Act (aka the Smith-Mundt Act). If you do a general internet search for the S-M Act, you’ll see that it’s basically a propaganda law for public diplomacy. However, knowing what we know about global education overreach, look what I found from the “Information and Education Exchange Act”:

1948

“Information service to disseminate abroad information about the US”
“Educational exchange”
“Interchange of persons, knowledge, and skills”
“Rendering of technical and other services”
NOTICE Section 3!!!

Warriors, the Information and Ed Exchange Act (S-M Act) was updated in 2012. The amendments made to the 1948 version only impacted broadcasting and free speech. Section 3 remains; as do the information and knowledge combined with technology. Section 402 is also still as it was from the original.

So, the S 406 (116th Congress) gives us a window of 5 years, which means 2024. Is there a global education significance involved?

Below is a screen shot from one of my 2017 articles about the US being ‘graded’ on their adherence to the SDGs.

Warriors, SGD #8 is ‘decent work for all’. You won’t see ‘work’ or ‘jobs’ below, but jobs and work are woven into what you do see:

A Crystal Ball Future?

From the AP and Business Wire, this 2018 article lays out for you that yes, by 2024, the global data giants will have complete control of the ‘information sharing’. Yes, Warriors, these global data giants already have a great deal of control, but it will only increase. How and why? Innovations and coders to implant the innovations. The US is among the regions included in the research.

Those data giants included (not limited to) in the Research Report the article tell you about are:
Microsoft
Apple, Inc
IBM
Google
EdX (on-line colleges/universities and their courses) Features Harvard and MIT.
Byju’s (ties to Chan Zuckerburg’s Initiative) An on-line learning system for higher education high stakes assessments.
(*Note: the Research company wants you to purchase the entire Report. Prices start at $3,500.00 and go up. You can read a general overview for free. Be sure to click on “Table of Contents”. All the education alignment is in Chapter 6.)

On the AI (artificial intelligence) spectrum for the future:

aied
(Original source, emphasis is mine)

We can’t leave out the U.S. Dept. of Education’s forecast for education by 2024:

ed2024

By the way, Warriors, IHS Global, Inc. is mentioned 21 times in this Report.
If you’d like to see the 2018’s U.S. Dept. of Ed predictions for education by 2026, go here.

Briefly, by 2026-27 school year: 2 percent increase nationwide in school enrollment for PreK to 8th grade; 8% increase in high school; 33 million teachers; 5% increase in high school graduates; cost of education (taxpayer burden) $670 billion (19% increase); and the cost per pupil: $12,900.00.

The PISA (Program for International Skills Assessment) for 2024 is already in the planning stages, Warriors. The focus? Science and digital technology.

What about NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress)? Here’s their assessment area focus.
You can see the National Governor’s Board NAEP focus areas for every year up to 2024, here.

The Human Capital “Forecast”:

Well, we’ve seen what Congress is up to, read what the CCSS Machine is predicting about education and the all encompassing aspect of the UN’s SDGs in it all, so what’s the future of ‘human capital’?

2009humancapital

(Source; note that this 2015 article laid out the 4 pillars used to measure ‘human capital’.)
**********************
SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) is a US/global group founded in 1948 (same year as the Information and Education Exchange Act/S-M Act). While I couldn’t find evidence of a direct connection, it’s not hard to see how ‘human resources’ and ‘human capital’ are intertwined.

shrm
(Source for event sponsors )
(Source for scholarship sponsors)

The Forecast you see in the screen shot is from 2013 and was predicting workforce and human capital up until 2024. There is a more recent Report, as well. However, I wanted you to see a few things in the 2013 Report.
1) look at the title highlighted in red (‘behavioral competencies’)
2) most of us will have to work well past the accepted retirement age
3) there’s a huge skills gap and jobs are being filled; most jobs are replacement positions (meaning when one person ages out, another, younger person steps in)
4) STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) in America isn’t stacking up to global counterparts
5) our economy will suffer tremendously if we don’t address 1-4.

As far as SHRM’s view on ‘workforce readiness’? You can find an entire tool kit for globally competitive skilled based workers here. If you’d like to see their 2017 State of the Society Report, go here.

**************
Another Report (Deloitte Review) from 2017 states that we are aging, but we’re also learning more and spending more time being educated. Warriors, this is a subjective view. No, we are not seeing students learn more, we are seeing them forced to have education become workforce readiness!

The stark reality, is that ‘human capital’ is part of ‘lifelong learning’!

lifelong

From 2010, this book detailed the vast amount of globalism America plans for and buys. You won’t see the U.S. Dept. of Education mentioned, but you will see the U.S. Dept. of Labor and its international membership. If you read the acknowledgements, you’ll see a few CCSS Machine member groups. Read the list of acronyms and you’ll find several more CCSS Machine member groups.

buyplan

So, seeing that the U.S. Dept. of Labor is a member of the ILO (International Labor Organization), how connected to the UN/Global ed/labor agenda are we?

ilo
Warriors, the DW4SD (Decent Work for Sustainable Development) will impact American legislation AND policy. After all, the UN’s aim to indoctrinate workforce based education depends on policy changes. What are the changes? Have we already seen this put in place or will we see soon, especially with S 406?

1) better jobs
2) internationally aligned labor standards
3) social protection
4) sustainable enterprises
5) rural economy
6) informal economy
7) labor inspections
8) what’s unacceptable work
9) labor migration
10) employer/worker organizations

These 10 ‘planks’ fit within the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Warriors, education is Goal #4.

Closing:

What are we to do, Warriors? Contact the House of Representatives and demand a ‘no’ to S 406!

We cannot settle on simply shutting down the U.S. Dept. of Education. The U.S. Dept. of Labor is JUST as unconstitutional!

DeVos’s G20 agreement calls for ed/labor to be merged. DC has also made plans to merge the two UNCONSTITUTIONAL departments.

***THIS fits precisely with, not only the UN’s SDGs, BUT the S 406 plans!***

From 1995:
Look at the previous plans for an ed/labor merger.  Obviously,  the  GAO(Gov.  Acct.  Office)  didn’t  see  a true  ‘savings’,  or  otherwise,  the  merger  would  have  happened.(Source)

From 2018, The ‘new’ ed/labor merger plan in visual form. NPR reported it as a money saving move. The White House sold it as a way to help the country improve.

Warriors, this still doesn’t END federal (or global) overreaches in education, it simply shuffles the deck. Instead of 2 unconstitutional federal agencies, one MASSIVE one.
Just after that White House news, Warriors stepped into action. There was a petition to halt merger plans! There was push-back!!
The image below is from that push-back:

Do you like that America is planning AND paying for globalization? Do you like seeing Acts like S 406 or other Administrative moves to ruin education?
If not, speak up, speak out! 4kusa

Blindly Leading

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, “Earth Day” was just a few days ago, and “Earth Week”  ended on April 19th, 2019. While I will eventually tie this back to education and the CCSS Machine, bear with me…

Both “Earth” events are totally in sync with the UN’s SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals). If you didn’t know this, “Earth Week” has been around since 1988. “Earth Day”, since 1970.

firstearth
(Source)

But, wait, the SDGs came years later, how can any alignment be true? According to the “About Us” on the official Earth Day website (embedded above), the entire movement went global by 1990. About 190 countries hopped on the ‘environmental savior complex’ bandwagon.

In 2005, this archived blog article mentions the march to climate change’s root: The Earth Summit of 1992 in Brazil. (Where Agenda 21 first surfaced).
*************************************************************************
****Let me pause here to state that I am not suggesting we have no environmental issues. We do; however, prudent and wise ways in which to deal with them have been replaced by quasi-scientific, subjective findings which millions are swallowing just as quickly as if it were the best drinks in town.

There are also two facts which have been totally overlooked and proven by Christian scientists and Bible experts:
a) God created this world and as such, supplies all the natural resources. Residents of the Earth, were told misuse of natural resources wouldn’t be good. However, no where in Scripture did it state running OUT of natural resources before the 2nd Coming of Christ.
b) God charged us with stewardship of the Earth (ie: taking care of it). Believers were also encouraged to do so out of love, not coercion.
**************************************************
Sustainability is totally different. It is forcing an agenda of ‘innovation’ for new ways to create resources. Resources we have no business creating. Ways which are proving to be more harmful or dangerous than helpful.

This article from Technocracy News even gives you ways to spot the climate change propaganda. It also shares WHY the UN is pushing this envelope.

Even for some of those who do not believe in ‘God’s supply’ have acknowledged that sustainability tied to the climate change is a farce and will harm us tremendously more than if we simple exercises stewardship.

This website even calls climate change a ‘culture war’. One which 2019 politicians are all too happy to magnify.

mountainsmole

Warriors. For the remainder of this article, I want to lay out a a trail for you which leads us to the 116th Congress and Senate Bill 729 (Sen. Schumer, NY).

From 2008:

Seeking to find the truth after former Vice President Gore declared a ‘global emergency’, was this Senate report. Very credible scientists were included.

climatethennow

(Source; emphasis added is mine)

Sure, we know VP Gore was a Democrat, but look at the 116th Congress and BOTH Republicans AND Democrats are preaching the gospel of peril and doom for the world. WHY? What’s changed?

Evidence suggests it’s a combination of influences. (subjective research, propaganda, and fear.)

We have seen Congress go from ‘let’s find the truth’ to ‘let’s censure truth’.

From 2019:
Sen. Schumer
(NY) is the sponsor of this bill. There are 16 co-sponsors. Two are 2020 Presidential candidates (Sen. Booker and Sen. Klobuchar). This Bill has no short title, but is worded so that the Senate AND the House will unite on this. So, what IS the name of S729?

s729name

S 729 doesn’t allow for research which would confirm or deny TRUTH. It only wants the ‘scientific consensus’ about climate change to be the truth. Why is that a problem? Because, as in 2008 until 2019, the scientific consensus has not been 100% united in findings or beliefs!

Right now, Sen. Schumer’s bill is on the Senate Calendar, item #35.

S729location

Congress.gov has a website video explaining what it means when a Bill is on the calendar. According to the video, calendar items may or may not ever be heard on the floor, BUT, it depends on the topic. Warriors, it doesn’t take rocket science to know ‘climate change’ is a HUGE topic. We also know (as it was featured in my “The Prudence Files” series) that ‘greening up the US’ (‘climate change’) is a BIG issue for all 20 Candidates, including our current President. If you look at their platforms, each of those seeking the Oval Office have a plan for their ideas. Take the time to read those ideas and they are ALL the same!

What Does S 729 Do?

Warriors, beside from prohibiting use of taxpayer funds to study the validity and course of action based off results, S 729 ties back to 2 other federal laws
A) The Solid Waste Disposal Act of 1965, amended 2018.
B) The United Global Change Research Act of 1990

What did “A” set out? A plan for the US to find ways to reduce waste, especially dumping sites. By being amended, that ‘innovation’ shift was added. This means that not only do we need to reduce waste, we need to re-purpose the waste. It also put the EPA in charge as the ONE agency which would administer any programs, initiatives, or activities for solid waste.

In S 729, Sect. 1004 of The Solid Waste law is cited. That section is the definitions for every conceivable way in which waste disposal and all that connects to it can be adjusted to fit an agenda.

What did “B” set out? This law created 4 year reviews of the effects on global changes. What would be reviewed? Agriculture, the natural environment of America, our energy production and use, our land and water resources, our transportation system, Americans health and welfare, American social systems and our bio-diversity. Here’s the 2014 (latest available) of the US Assessments by region.
climateresearch
IF you are curious how much the research for global change has cost We the People, this is the latest set of figures.

climateresearchmoney

In S 729, Sect. 106 of the Global Change law is cited. That section is described directly above. What’s troubling, is the 1990 Act required research to be conducted, yet S 729 is prohibiting federal funds. Does this mean corporate or private funds CAN be used? If so, how will the objectivity be assured for the nation?

If you’d like to see the Climate Science Watch’s 2017 Report showing the (then) latest information from the 4 year review, go here.

Sen. Schumer’s Globalism Roots:

Warriors, it’s no secret that Sen. Schumer supports global citizenship. Back in 2017, I showed you the party outside the G20 meeting.  That party featured singer Shakira as a global citizen ‘ambassador’. In my follow up article to that, I showed you Sen. Schumer’s big tent outside that same G20 meeting. In both those articles, the ties to our students was very obvious.

schumerFrom Open Secrets, you can find that before the President became the President, he regularly financially supported Sen. Schumer.
Also from Open Secrets, Sen. Schumer’s biggest campaign donors included: Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Big Insurance, Big Lobbyists, Big Law, Big Investors, and, Big Pharma

Lastly, from the Earth Day website, this about Next Gen Science Standards (oh, and they love CCSS, too.)

Closing:

Warriors, I’m all for reducing our taxpayer abuse, however, I do not feel Congress should prohibit study funds in this instance. If we’re going to skew our laws to only fit one side of the coin, how is that liberty? How is it exercising truth and justice? Where is our freedom to know and decide for ourselves?

When truth is one sided, how does this help our students?

So, if you or someone you know wants to accept the global warming truth, that’s your choice, but it is NOT the government job to dictate it to us.

When Agenda Means Dirt

To all you Anti Fed Ed Warriors, out there, did you know that way back in 1893 Emmett Culligan was born? Who was he? The founder of what would become the world’s largest water treatment company. We’ll find out more about Culligan in 2019, later on. But, first…

Water is one of the most basic elements of our lives. Water is connected to dirt or soil. Soil and water grow what we eat, as well as what we feed our animals. Without proper care of water and dirt, we will not survive. Period.

turnips_farmers_market

So, what do you do with a global agenda which ‘monkeys’ with BOTH? You find it in education, you see it in modernized farming, and, you taste it in modified foods.

In 2016, I showed you how some of this was inserted into a FL  PTA (Parent Teacher Association) project.

ricecontest

Back in Dec. 2018, I showed you not only federal legislation using agenda to redefine farming, but the Utah food standards, which aligned to Common Core. The ‘unseen’ agenda via these lessons (used nation-wide): usurping parental rights!

Warriors, have you noticed the increased amount of foods being grown without soil or grown completely indoors with artificial light? Somehow our students in all agriculture related fields are being swayed that this is more practical and ‘earth friendly’ than actually using nature! The connection from education to agenda? STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math.

National Ag Day/Week

Warriors, March 14th, 2019 has been declared National Agriculture Day. Held annually, the National Ag Week (March 10-16, 2019) is a big deal in D.C. What group is behind National Ag Week? The ACA (Agriculture Council of America). Among the ACA Board Members, FFA (Future Farmers of America) is represented. (*Note: see Related Resources, below.)
If you’d like to see the many groups sponsoring National Ag Week, go here.
ACA is a non-profit group, but I haven’t been successful in tracking down what groups fund it. However, it is tied to ‘agribusiness’.

How else is DC involved in agriculture? USDA (U.S. Dept. of Agriculture) Farm to School grants. By the way, Warriors, the USDA is a huge CCSS/STEM supporting agency. (*Note: I’m embedded all my articles where USDA is tagged. The 2017 “OtherColleague” letter is a huge piece of evidence.)

If you missed it, the President has not only embraced STEM, he is helping promote it, big time. I must point out that our 116th Congress is also promoting STEM with many federal legislative bills.

As far as the repealing the Obama Era Waters of the United States, I found this on the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). Clarification of federal authority under the Clean Water Act. This ‘clarification’ will redefine the federal footprint on our water. We the People have until April 15, 2019 to leave public comments. I urge you to learn more and comment!

As far as the EPA’s stance on Sustainability, there’s an entire section on ‘Going Green’.
To see the EPA’s participation with the UN Environmental Program, visit here.
To see the EPA’s ‘membership’ among the UN’s Economic and Social Council, read from here.
Did you know there’s a MOU (Memo of Understanding) from 2016 between the EPA and the UN? To the best of my knowledge, this MOU still stands.

“Socially Responsible”:

Warriors, this website was one of those which popped up on social media. Simply by the picture and words, I knew this was a group to look into.

While I couldn’t find out very much about SRAP, I did discover many colleges and universities, along with private investment groups flock to projects like this to fulfill education and social justice motives.

Messing With Our Water:

Along the lines of social justice and education, I’ve had one Mom from PA contact me about the recent assignment her son had in his high school class on environmental science. While she couldn’t supply pictures to share, she did tell me that
‘His project was based on water consumption. He had to list everything he drank or ate that needed water. Then he had to create a plan to reduce that water intake. Then, he screamed at me about how much water it takes to feed a cow, so we don’t need to eat meat, we need to eat plants.’ As a side note, Mom did point out that plants, too, need water. Moms and Dads also know that meat and meat by-products are needed for healthy children.
We shouldn’t all be herbivores. We were designed to be omnivores!

The GRACE Communications Foundation is the group which has the Water Consumption Calculator the PA Student probably took. GRACE is all about increasing public awareness of critical environmental issues. I took the quiz, Warriors.

You should do, just to see some of the questions. I was asked how much I feed my pets, who in my family eats meat, how often we flush a toilet (called ‘letting it mellow’), and so on. Included also were questions like do I recycle? Do I drive a car? How often do I drive? Do I want to learn about ‘virtual water’? Based on my family of 5 and the type of answers you were constricted to give, the results were skewed.

As far as ‘virtual’ water? That’s gasoline and anything used indirectly, like electricity, etc. GRACE is a partner with the Global Alliance for the Future of Food (ie: SDGs in action).

STEM In 4-H:

Warriors, you read above how I’d found the CCSS Machine in 4-H. So now we can add STEM to that list.

4hstem

Google is a big supporter of STEM in 4-H. The main goal for Google? Career Pathways for kids via 4-H. Warriors, Career Pathways are also a part of the nebulous SDGs.
Here you’ll find all kinds of STEM/agriculture activities and resources. There’s even a Coding Day for 4-H which ties to agriculture. It’s called the “National Youth Sciences Day”. This targets 8-14 year old students.

Many of us have fond memories of participating in the a 4-H Club. But STEM has taken over both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, so why not 4-H? STEM has even ensnared the National PTA.

**Warriors, do you see the march to globalism in America is mere steps away from completion?**

Related Resources:

1) Back before I had my own blog (mid 2014), but, had been researching CCSS/STEM for quite a while, I exposed how FFA (Future Farmers of America), 4-H Clubs, and, other leadership extra-curricular activity groups were being aligned to the CCSS Machine. As we know, extra-curricular activities are available to ALL school choices.

2) As a follow up, here was the one showing Beta Clubs and Honor Societies. In 2019, the CCSS/STEM agenda is even more visible.

3) Farming and agriculture not only impact our food, but the entire American insurance and credit industries.  If you’d like to see the billions of dollars going toward this, read this 2017 Annual Report about Farmer Mac. (Think Sallie Mae for rural America)

4) AFA (Agriculture Future of America) partners include many CCSS and/or UN/STEM aligned public universities, as well as some big businesses.

5) To learn about biomass crops, community food development grants, and biotechnology in agriculture, this 2014 Sustainable Ag Research & Ed Grants document will help you see some connections. Note, the underlying support of private foundations in the USDA branch of government.

Closing:

Warriors, what about Culligan Water Treatment? After all it is the day Mr. Culligan was born. Has the company also embraced STEM or the SDGs? See for yourselves.
