US Ed’s Global Shakedown

Anti Fed Ed Warriors,

Recently I’ve shown you several globally overreaching agenda items which are showing up in our US Congress. As you know, I’ve asked “WHY?”. Why are our US taxpayer dollars going to fund programs and set laws which are NOT American made, nor citizen driven? Especially when it comes to education.

Warriors, as you can see by this vintage political cartoon, having American citizens pay for D.C.’s ‘extravagance’ is an age old issue. Now, why would I choose to insert ‘extravagance’?

After all, education is NOT a luxury..it’s a privilege. I chose the ‘e’ word to make a point. American citizens are supposed to be the ones who influence Congress to create legislation, not lobbyists, corporations, or, global groups.

Yet, we’ve seen in the War Vs the Core just how easily We, the People, are dismissed. Congress is being extravagant with its power.

Wait Lynne, you said education is a privilege. Isn’t it actually a ‘right’? That depends Warriors. Are you thinking American or globally?

Global rhetoric has preached for years that education is a right and therefore MUST be given. The only problem with this logic is what is mandated (or in this case a ‘must’) is also controlled.

In the case of the CCSS Machine’s domain over globally based education, look at HOW controlled America’s education has become. It’s also become even MORE controlled by global forces. Yet, We the People will be expected to pick up the global-to-fed-led bill every time.

The classic thought concerning education in America (as elsewhere) was that by having education treated as a privilege, everyone involved got way more bang for their taxpayer dollar.

Think about it, teachers wanted to teach because they were encouraged, not forcibly controlled. Students were inspired to learn because they knew going to school was a step in the right direction, not a step to some assessment mandated job.

The CCSS Machine has murdered any joy, privilege, or enjoyment associated with education. Both for teachers AND students.

The ‘un-intended’ victims? The families and taxpayers.
Our compliance is not a choice, it, too, is a controlled mandate.
We have no say in the fact we do NOT wish to see our taxpayer dollars fund globally based Congressional bills.

 How committed to globalism is your State? Where I live (NC), is 100% committed. I’ve shared this with you many times* before here on my blog. The most recent commitments from the SBE (State Board of Education, where all political parties are involved), and the NC DPI (Dept. of Public Instruction). While we assume this only involves public schools of all kinds, this globalization in education reaches into private education, as well as homeschooling. How? Dual enrollment, AP courses, assessments, on-line or hybrid classes, extra curricular activities, and more.

I Might be Banned IF…

Hello, Warriors!

It’s been a busy week and a half for me. Child Abuse in the Classroom’s national grassroots campaign kicked off, interviews to prepare for, webinars to attend, and, a video ‘class’ on the UN’s grasp on American education..enough to make me dizzy. Some even called me ‘ditzy’. Oh well, all in the life of an outspoken education activist.

So, what do I mean by the title you read? “I might be banned IF”….I told the truth…again.
Facebook banned me for doing so…again. By now, not only am I NOT surprised, I am saddened. Freedom of speech, at least according to the Facebook ‘police’ is heavily censored. I could understand if what I have to say was truly awful, but, the truth?? Seriously??


What Got Me Banned:

I touched on HR 3358 during the video. Use the website I embedded to search for it. This next week, I’ll be diving into this bill for a closer look.

One thing I didn’t point out, but intended to was the use of the Smurfs to push the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

During the video, I referred to my blog to access the articles by topic. As you know, I’ve devoted several years to researching education. One of the articles which sparked me to get involved was by Tom DeWeese. I not only gave you a bit of history with Tom’s article, but I also gave you a bit of what’s been happening since then and is directly related.

The technology push in America is also traceable to the UN. Read all about it, here.

One of the biggest things I shared with Warriors, is the color psychology behind the SDGs. There are two links you MUST visit! The first one is from a NGO (non government organization) run by a large group of Catholic women. The second one is from a group of ‘stakeholders’.
The UN has some serious mandates about using the logo and colors of the SDGs. Find these 2 links and see how strict it all is.

You’ll find the Global Alliance for Monitoring Education is funding assessments on a global level which fits right in with the UN’s agenda.

To hear the US President and the US Ambassador to the UN (Haley) re-commit the US to the UN’s reform, you have these 2 sources. Remember, Warriors, it isn’t so much what IS said sometimes as it is what ISN’T said. By committing us to the UN’s agenda, these leaders are speaking for us. We did NOT ever say we wanted UN in our US education!

Child Abuse In The Classroom:

“OUR GOAL:  To repeal ESSA and President Obama’s Executive Order 12866 which changed the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations to allow our children’s data and private information–including teacher-generated, anecdotal, psychological analysis–to be shared without parental knowledge or approval.”

Warriors, we MUST have tens of thousands of citizens join us to make the grassroots effort truly pay off. To accomplish a ‘repeal and restore’ tactic of this nature, massive numbers of outraged citizens are needed. Please visit the website, see the ESSA’s violations against all our children; learn the loopholes of FERPA.

The Global Citizenship Initiative’s website has a Report you simply HAVE to see. It is the Report Card for each nation involved in the organization. Of course the US is a member.
Below is how ‘we’ are ranked as far as aligning to the Initiative:

Warriors, it’s vital to point out that the top 3 nations (Denmark, Sweden, and, Norway) “Leading the Way” in this Initiative are ones we repeatedly see our education systems compared to  OR lamented over that the US isn’t MORE like these nations when it comes to education! Stop comparing!! When this happens, we are actually encouraging our US education system to become Un-American!!!

The Global Education Associates openly participates in the UN activities. The US, is a member country. You’ll find the Eden Project is also a part of the GEA (Global Education Associates)

The P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Skills) is a well known CCSS Machine member organization. But did  you know they are ‘buddies’ with the UN?! That’s right, the ‘buddies’ have been working together to ruin American education since 2013.

Not only is the P21 up to its neck in the UN’s activities, but they are also pushing the 21st Century Community Learning Centers. These Centers are most definitely a globalizing move as well as being embedded in ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). P21’s latest Report shows how our babies (18 months to 6 years old) can learn BETTER when involved in a 21st CCLC.

Since so much of ESSA has technology as an educational ‘resource’, it’s important to connect that back to the UN’s push for technology (see the links above I shared; as well in the video). Warriors, look at the evidence directly above.  It’s from a group known as ‘CUE’. Cue loves to lobby legislators. They are also partners with inACOL (International Assoc. for K-12 Online Learning). In 2016, inACOL gave a proposal to the UN for the 2030 Agenda in education. (*Note, thanks to Warrior Victoria for the CUE lead.)


If you’ve heard of a “New Tech” school, it’s part of the combination of efforts in educational reform. According to the NTN (New Tech Network), students are BETTER College/Career Ready Graduates! Here’s their Report stating this. (*Note: “The New Tech Network (NTN) of nearly 200 schools in 28 states..” contains about 72,000 children.) When you access the Report, be sure to read the President’s remarks. You’ll find that global citizenship is among the themes of these schools.


So, Warriors, there you have it. You, too, can be banned for sharing the truth about the CCSS Machine! So, speak loudly, speak daily, and speak out to save our nation!

Illusions of Higher Aspirations

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’ve known for quite a while that the CCSS Machine was going to go after the HEA (Higher Education Act). Among the EOGs and EOCs back in April and May of 2017, Congress* didn’t ‘disappoint’. While graduations were celebrated and aspirations for each of our students was plotted out, the CCSS Machine’s agenda ground down the existing HEA (orginally introduced in 1965; it’s last re-athorization was 2008).
(*Currently, S806 and HR 1880 have been introduced as amendments to the HEA, but read more like replacements.)

We also have known from this blog and similar ones that the HEA is the LAST link in the chain of education laws which must be re-written to complete the top/down; global to US transformation in converting ‘education’ to glorified work training.

IF we look at the supportive side of education reform (which embraces the global worker shift), it’s no surprise that their illusions are being shared and spewed out everywhere.
For example the NEA (National Education Association) has said the rewriting of the HEA is needed. It’ll be great to have more affordable college, recognition of professors as ‘stakeholders’, and, improve teaching PD (professional development). Warriors, as we know, all these buzz phrases are code for two CCSS Machine agenda goals:
                                          Control and alignment

*Is the American way of paying for higher education in need of help? Absolutely! However, as I’ve stated before (based on mountains of evidence and research) funneling EVERYTHING through the CCSS Machine’s education reform is the WRONG way to correct our system!!!

S 806’s Bill/Language:

Warriors, what DOES this bill the NEA is foaming at the mouth about, REALLY say?

1) Was introduced 4/03/17 and is in the hands of the Senate HELP Committee (under Sen. Alexander’s thumb). (*Note: Warriors, remember when ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) was signed into law, Alexander promised us with vigor that the HEA was next. His 1980s ‘prophecy’ of alignment babies to a life long track is playing out.)
2) The Bill is 51 pages long. You can access it here.
3) There is one main sponsor and 5 co-sponsors: Sanders, Warren, Harris, Blumenthal, Murphy, and Gillabrand.
4) Short title: “College for All Act of 2017”

Student and State information:
5) Title 9 will be amended for use as a federal/state partnership in funding to eliminate tutition. Grants will be used as the illusion for greatness.
6) Will impact those students in the ESSA age range (preK to 12th grade) in early college programs, dual enrollment, or concurrent enrollment. (*Note: this is a back door access to the educational choices outside the traditional education system.) The illusion of attainment is used here.
7) Since this is addressing a post-secondary education law, all ages will be impacted and aligned. The illusion of equity and equality is used here.
8) Grants awarded will be at the Secretary of Education’s choosing to enable the States.
The illusion of State led eduation is used here.
9) There’s a 33% ‘non federal funds’ clause on Page 6. It’s a requirement, not an option.
The illusion of ‘stakeholder’ control is used here.
10) The Secretary of Education is given power to challenge the States in their projected enrollment formulas (bottom of Page 15 into 16). On Page 17, it shows the GDP for the State being challenged as coming into this formula’s equasion. The illusion of State led education is being used again.
Other notes: parents tax records, independent students and their tax records, data tracking, targeting the working class and the low-income class, Sec. of Ed deemed requirements by each State annually in applying for grants, and more.

Teacher and PD Information:
11) Of the grants and non federal funding received, any money left AFTER applying to the students will be applied for teachers and their training (includes on-going PD).
An illusion of ‘stakeholder’ importance is used here.
12) An increase in staff (full-time, tenured or tenure-track), especially ‘instructional faculty’. The illusion of true teaching is used here.
13) Provisions for anything a faculty member could need (includes the office). PD supports…and shared goverance. With so many of the PD opportunities available to schools now being aligned to the CCSS Machine’s agenda, this one has the illusion of objective leadership.
14) Part-time, outside the classroom work will be compensated. Again, Warriors, who is footing the bill for all this?? We are!! An illusion of economics is used here.
15) Increases in dual enrollment, concurrent enrollment, early college, and any other ‘student success’ program as deemed appropriate by the Sec. of Education and the Peer Review Group, not your State or local leaders. The illusion of leadership, power, and school choice factor in here.
16) TRIO and GEAR UP Programs (a federal education effort) will be increased. I’ve covered how aligned to the CCSS Machine’s workforce/education plan these programs are. The illusion of State-led leadership, yet again.
17) Increases in Work Study programs will most certainly be found in S806. There will also be a recalculation in the funding of Work Study Programs.  Expect billions of taxpayer funds and private money to pay for these. The illusion of living within our means as a nation is played up here.

You’ll also find what the fed/State funding and non federal funding cannot be used for (such as building a new stadium or paying the school administrators). I hope you are ready for the price tag of all this ‘free’ higher education, Warriors. Look below:


At LEAST $41 Billion in funds. Notice the language leaves the final business quarter for 2017 and the entire years from 2019 – 2027 wide open to whatever is necessary!! If you read the next paragraph after the above screen shot, you’ll notice that the language includes federal obligated funds from Oct. 2016 to Sept. 2017. Just in time for the 2017’s 4th quarter to begin. It would appear an illusion of purposed and pre-planned alignment is being used.
***The price tag for the increases for TRIO and GEAR Up reach into the trillions for each year between 2018 and 2027 (Page 41)
***Work Study Funding by each fiscal year is on Pages 41/42. Warriors, note that it is at the Sec. of Education’s decision, not the States’. The power doesn’t stop there. Any regulation surrounding the calculations of the reformulation of these Work Study Programs is also given.

The ‘career readiness’ and how it will be tied to Pell Grants can be seen on Page 43. It will be part of the increases in Job Development Programs and their locations. This directly ties to the U.S. Dept. of Labor. Again, Warriors, the union of these 2 federal agencies overreaching into education is visible.

*Note: If you have student debt, or know someone who is about to apply for funding college, you’ll need to read the fine print from Pages 44 to 51. While it appears undergrads will have a lower interest rate, it also appears grad students will see an increase. Since I am not a financial expert by any stretch, please research this language carefully.


Warriors, as you can see, our Senate has totally betrayed us. Being a free nation should mean we honor our Constitution first and foremost. We know the CCSS Machine has shredded its importance. If not, we would not see the trillions of dollars ear marked to further the illegal overreach into education. What will the HR 1880 (a ‘sister’ bill) hold for us? We’ll find out tomorrow.

In the meantime, contact your Senators and tell them, NO to ‘free’ college! If we don’t go broke paying for it, our future generations will. “Free” college is a collective, good for the Socialists movement, not an independent freedom of choice based on the ideals of our Republic.


Knot In My Backyard

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, the G20 Summit has ended for this year.

What missed the mainstream media (as far as I know) is the state of education, according to the G20. What was said? What was plotted? Will all this tie to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) or WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)? Will the STEM Act  (Science, Technology, Engineering , and Math) be included?
What about the impact on the re-writing of the HEA (Higher Education Act)? The UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), are a uniting bond between all these American ‘education’ laws and connected programs.

What Those G20 Leaders Did:

From what I’ve found, the G20 (stands for ‘Group of 20’) has sub-groups. An overall theme of the G20 and all its sub-groups is an “interconnected world”.
One such sub-group is the B20 (Business 20).

So, what IS G20’s agenda when it comes to education?

Four main points, my fellow Warriors:
a) more females as business leaders/owners
b) more immigrants and refugees in the workforce
c) supply chains which embed the SDGs
d) future workforce

The 2 uniting factors for the G20’s agenda?
a) our youth
b) social issues

In the B20’s White Paper, you’ll find how education is (once again) used as an ‘ends to a means’, NOT as an endeavor of its own.
Plenty of ‘innovation’, technology, and skill based learning are part and parcel of the B20 Plan to support the G20 agenda!

Warriors, if you wish to have further proof of America’s resolve to become global (and not remain a strong nation of our own), consider these facts:
a) America is a ‘card carrying member’ of both the UN and the G20. This means whatever agenda items these groups have, the US has as well. These, items are either already in our backyards, or will be very soon!
b) The G20 has the following sentences ‘buried’ in their 2017 Agenda“The G20 will be resolute in its endeavours to ensure the rapid and comprehensive implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with its global goals for sustainable development, and of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda.”

What’s The ‘Addis Ababa Action Agenda’?

Basically, its a set of 134 items created in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) back in 2015 to finance all the needed programs and goals of the Sustainable Developmental Goals by the UN. Actually, there are only 133 items. The last item is the plan for a possible 2019 meeting to see how things are going.

In this particular document (2015 for a ‘post-2015’ world), you’ll find legal frameworks, either already in place, or about to be set in place; you’ll find how public-private partnerships will use private money to support the common, public good; you’ll see how STEM and data mining will go hand in hand, and there’s more.

Several world financial entities are named. For example, the World Bank. (Warriors, we’ve known for a long time how the World Bank backed Common Core. It still supports in the the ESSA Era, too.)

As has been shared in the past, education is #4 on the SDG list of 17 items. Every one of the 17 SDGs is already in America’s backyard.

Warriors, also appearing in our backyards are the school programs and extra-curricular events centered about global citizens or making our world better. Listen to the words this ‘ambassador for education’ utters in this short YouTube video. The video was filmed a few days ago during the G20 Summit. Notice the backdrop, look at the bottom right hand corner to see the SDG colorful wheel appear every so often during the video.

*Note: in the video clip, Sharika refers to an international finance committee. She suggests an investment of trillions of dollars to support global education. Her ties to the UN are thick. Thus, the ties to the CCSS Machine are also there. (Sharika focuses on early childhood education.) We’ve seen as Warriors what’s happened to this age group in education, thanks to the CCSS Machine.

The committee Sharika meant is the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity. You can access their website here. The USA ties to this Committee can be found in the form of two Harvard University personnel members, who are among the ICFGE’s Leadership.
(Warriors, remember Harvard has been named here on my blog several times as being a key CCSS Machine member organization.)

A mandate of the Commission for education? “The Commission’s mandate was to identify the most effective and accountable ways of mobilizing and deploying resources to help ensure that all children and young people have the opportunity to participate, learn and gain the skills they need for adulthood and work in the 21st century.”

The Commission says its main focus is low-income and middle-income countries and their education debacles. Why will you find this information? Click here to get their Learning_Generation_full_report_v2.

So WHY is the US involved? Why would the US, as a first-world country need to shift its education to match everyone else’s?!

Warriors, think about it, if America doesn’t align, the agreements we’ve entered into to concerning adhering to global agenda items, we’ll have violated them.

What We CAN Do:

Warriors, encourage; no, demand that our US leaders cut the ties to the UN completely! Demand we, as a nation, divorce our nation from the agreements which have found our educational system as an intended consequence. Refuse the global pushes in your backyard.  We MUST act to save our students and teachers from the global education/CCSS Machine. Demand your State STOP funding any assessment or educational resource group tied to the UN. Resist the global citizen push in your communities. End the relationships with the Unions in education. The top two, NEA and AFT are tied at the hip to the global education shift.

We are STILL American! We STILL have freedom. We MUST act now to preserve our nation.

First of Its Kind

Warriors Against Fed Ed, Common Core, and, Global Education’s takeover in America, we find ourselves approaching the end of June 2017. As I said earlier in the year, summer would not be a time the CCSS Machine would slow down its continual grinding down of education.

To that end, a CCSS/Global Ed laced Conference is just getting started. It’s the ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) 2017 Conference. It’s meeting in Texas. Late Sunday afternoon, #ISTE and #GlobalEd17 were trending topics on Twitter.
The proganda was digusting. The painted on smiles of those attending and leading were deceiving.  Be sure to check all the latest ‘news’ out.

As I also stated earlier in the year, the summer is the ideal time for us Warriors to continue to arm ourselves with information to be ready for action when the new school year begins. The War Vs. the Core is NOT over, not by a long stretch.

Briefly, ISTE’s Connection To Global Education:

Warriors, back in 2015, I shared with you, an article titled “Tech Thursday: Global Day for Education”. It was the first time I’d run across ISTE. Quickly, just think “Microsoft” (and we know who THAT leads us to). Microsoft is the main sponsor of ISTE. Does it align the standards for technology in the classrooms to the dreaded CCSS (Common Core State Standards)? Absolutely. Does the ISTE apply its alignment to the re-branded names of CCSS, certainly! Where there’s international data, there’s got to be international data mining. That too, has an annual conference. Here’s an article where you can see the plethora of workshops devoted to harvesting education information.

Because technology is global, we know data created by technology is also global. However, the connections to global education and technology, which are very disturbing, (CCSS Machine propaganda uses ‘disruptive’) are the cultural mindset shifts hiding behind all those neat sounding apps and computer programs.

For example, from the article I’ve linked above, is a screen shot (below) where you ‘ll see the ‘global’ pledge. This pledge is used by all kinds of education related groups.

With international technology comes the need for global education days. At least that’s what Harvard University and the others involved in the Global Education Conference Network believe. You can find out more about the Network in the article I’ve linked you to to learn more about the ISTE. You’ll also see how the AFT (American Federation of Teachers) is connected. From what I can find, no; the global education is part of the ISTE Conference. How? The location is the same.  See below:


Warriors, you can sign up for free to access all the Global Education Network resources (you’ll want to see the Google classroom items, the lists of global organizations, the resources and those who’ve written them (I saw Steve Hardagon’s name pop up).

How to access all this? Visit this website, click on ‘visit’. Sign in (you can use your Facebook, Google Plus, or email if you don’t have an Iparticipate i.d.) Notice at the bottom of the page, that the P21, Inc (Partnership for 21st Century Skills) is a sponsor.
Access this list of global education organizations and people on Twitter. Even if you do no ‘tweet’ you can still find out about this CCSS Machine global members.

Why access all this? After all, it’s from the CCSS Machine. Warriors, if we are to be armed with the latest information, especially when it comes to technology and data mining, we must ‘hang out’ among the creators. Since so many of our schools are leaving parents, grandparents, and taxpayers in the dark, any advantage we can gain by seeing what the CCSS Machine is doing, is needed.

First Isn’t Always Best:

So far, Warriors, I’ve not said anything which relates to the title of this article. What is ‘first of its kind’? In the push for global technology, these two examples I want to leave you with. Ask yourselves, is this being planned for my school district? Is this where my tax dollars are going? Am I okay with the continued misuse of money to not educate students, but, to indoctrinate them?

Digital Portfolios may NOT be brand new, but a school district in AL is featured among the ISTE resources (and global education) for its first of its kind update. What’s the update? “Whole Story for the Whole Child”. This is about 30 minutes of video.

By giving the students a computer, showing them how to use it to lay out their lives, this portfolio COULD be used for other purposes. Such as, at the 3:25 mark (or just after it) a high school teacher reveals just ONE of the ‘other’ purposes: a track to see where each student needs to round themselves out for “college and career readiness”! (If you are new to the War vs Common Core, ‘College and Career Ready” is a re-branded name for the same thing.)

You’ll also have the person in charge of the federal funding for this AL school district explain how to start digital portfolios in your area. She will tell you that as school leaders implementing this you’ll WANT to look into each student’s personal life as well as their academic ‘lives’. Watch for the grade levels involved and the end result. (hint: by the times the students get to colleges, not enough is known about them)

Warriors, so much of global education and technolgy involves STEM (Science, Engineering, and Math), but they also include STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math).

Both STEM and STEAM are not American. STEM is the marketing name dreamed up by the NSF (National Science Foundation) to incorporate the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. STEM and CCSS go hand in hand. STEM was introduced about the time the CCSS was rolled out. Common Core was the distraction; STEM was the real agenda for education. It’s all been researched and documented.  As far as STEAM, it too, is not American. It’s roots are from South Korea and brought to the US. If you’ve missed these facts, please find them here.

This leads me to another ‘first of its kind’ and in the nation. This time we’ll find it in TN.

Do we have any idea how one-dimensional this is going to be for our littlest ones? Sure, the CCSS Machine talks it up that all kinds of engaging education will happen with STEAM, but every day?! True education honors that while engaging needs to happen, so does some down-time. So what’s happened to this one-of-a-kind school since 2016? A big dollar donation from a private company to go to a public school; the hope that those big bucks will prove STEAM can work for both inner city schools and rural schools. See the article here.


Warriors, the bottom line to all the ISTE/global ed dribble is this:
“Learning without limits” will get us farther in education than ever before. Yeah, right…

Can I Get a “Meow”?

Warriors Against Fed Ed, we know that the overreach in education is NOT contained in the K-12th grade levels. We also know it’s not restricted to public education, but spills over into ALL educational choices.
We can thank federal laws for that. The ‘holy trio’ of WIOA, ESSA, and the HEA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014; Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015; Higher Education Act of 2008, and, currently being re-written to become re-authorized.)

I believe Congress is preparing the way for the ‘new’ HEA by creating Bills now which amend the current HEA. Why is the ‘new’ HEA a concern for Fed Ed Warriors? It’s the last ‘link in the chain for a cradle to career streamlined education for workers’.

I’ve written about other Congressional Bills which also are laying the trail to the new and improved HEA. However, there’s a new Bill in town…

Bringing on the Bipartisanship:

S718 (The Making Education Affordable and Accessible Act (MEAA)
**As of this writing, there is no text version of the Bill available from Congress.gov)
**Because the Bill’s acronym is so close to  ‘meow’, I’m using a cat theme for the rest of the article.

Quick facts:
1) There are 4 Senators aponsoring/co-sponsoring this ‘cat-nip’ bill: Franken (MN); Peters (MI); Cassidy (LA), and, Boozman (AR).
2) Because ”bipartisan” can be claimed, so can the ‘litter box’ contents that come with this Bill.

3) Because it helps lay a deceptive ‘mouse trap’ for citizens involved in higher education, we need to watch for the ‘claws’ being used to pull us in.

4) Since the text version of S718 isn’t  available just yet, we can find out much information about it from the Sponsor’s official press release. Senator Peters’ website reveals the following ‘cat treats’:

5) Not only do we have 4 Senators behind this Bill, there are also 2 House of  Representatives involved in this: Polis, CO and Reed, NY. This makes the Bill ‘bicameral’.

**Warriors, this should be a sign that federally led education is NOT a single party creation! Both mainstream parties are extending the overreach. Think of it as the ‘litter box smell’ that can’t be contained.

6) This is not the first time a Bill seeking to make college ‘more affordable and accessible’ has been attempted in recent history. It’s the same ‘mouse trap’, just designed a bit differently.

7) The targeted group for S718? High school students! The ‘stealthy’ Bill will ‘providing grants to eligible institutions of higher learning to create dual and concurrent enrollment and early/middle college programs..’

**Warriors, ESSA’s State required accountability reports must include dual enrolled, concurrent enrolled, and early/middle college programs. It also streamlines ALL education in high schools OR these programs to be aligned to WIOA’s requirements for post-secondary readiness! It also streamlines teachers and their training. Talk about ‘claws’ being dug into our citizens…

8) Sen. Peters’ comments included: “Some form of higher education or technical certification is increasingly essential to joining today’s workforce, and the rising cost of tuition should not be a barrier that keeps students from getting the skills and education they need to succeed,” said Senator Peters. “I’m proud to introduce this bipartisan legislation that helps students save money while getting a head start on their college education. The Making Education Affordable and Accessible Act will help ensure students are well-prepared for their chosen careers and employers have trained workers to fill the jobs of the future.”

9) Sen. Cassidy’s comments included: “In order to bring high-skilled, well-paying jobs with good benefits to Louisiana and our nation, we need a highly capable workforce. This bill provides a next step in training American workers for the jobs of tomorrow.”

10) AR’s Senator: “This legislation creates an affordable opportunity for students to develop real-world skills employers need while pursing higher education. These programs have been beneficial in Arkansas by helping prepare students to enter the workforce as future employees for local businesses,” Senator Boozman said.

11) Sen. Franken’s“Our commonsense, bipartisan bill would help more high school students earn college credits before they pay a dime in tuition—and it could also support professional development opportunities for educators in Minnesota who teach courses in dual enrollment programs. ” (*Note: to see Sen. 12) From CO“Allowing more students to attain college credit while still in high school puts them on a clear track to achieve a college degree and excel in the workforce,” Representative Polis said.

13) From Rep. ReedDual and concurrent enrollment programs offer students quality educational options that will prepare them for meaningful careers. “

14) Look below for the seemingly innocent ‘meows’ from CCSS Machine member groups. Warriors, it’s not innocent. It’s a purposed, planned, and ‘roar-like’ call for conformity!

Warriors, we MUST rein in the federal overreaches! We can no longer act like kittens when it comes to our nation and the aligned direction it is being set to. We must be the tigers and tigresses. If you live in any of the States these Senators and Representatives are from, be encouraged to reach out to them concerning this.

The Warrior’s Accoutrements

Today’s article will feature a variety of informational tools you can use (aka ‘accoutrements’) for our continued War vs. the Core.

Money Talks In This War:

1) ICYMI: My no-holes-barred look into President Trump’s Proposed Budget. The CCSS Machine’s education reform takes money to keep up its agenda. Our government has been a party to this for long enough. If we are to see the end of Common Core during Mr. Trump’s service, we MUST use truthful evidence to hold ALL of D.C. accountable, not just a select few.

2) My 7 page “Anti Fed Ed Common Core and all Its Related Activities” document. Within these 7 pages is a breakdown of priorities, we as Warriors must address surrounding the federal budget. See: AntiFedEdCommonCoreandallItsRelatedActivities

Within Mr. Trump’s plans, I found 85 ways his requests KEEP the CCSS Machine going. My priorities list gives you a mountain of accoutrements to use, just look for the highlighted words, you’ll be able to access years worth of researched evidence to support the priorities.
We have no time to waste in crunching numbers to wipe out nationally led education.
(*Note: Mr. Trump’s Proposal must be approved by Congress. We’ve also yet to see what Congress has laid out for education reform.)

As we learned before, all federal Cabinet Departments are in on the transforming education from academic based to workforce training.

1) ‘New’ State Templates for Writing Your ‘Own’ ESSA Plans.
Yes, my Warrior friends, the U.S. Dept. of Ed recently released an updated version for how our States should formulate their educational plans. However, with the first ESSA deadline a few days away (April 3, 2018), how much difference is really in the new version? If a State is to be free enough to formulate its own education plan, is the Dept. of Ed still micromanaging?
ICYMI, the press release is embedded above. I include it so you can not only read the ‘feel good’ language  has chosen, but you can see embedded links to the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), Great Schools of America, etc.
(*Note: In the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s letter to the CCSSO, you’ll find how DeVos chose to promote a ‘concerted effort’ between States and the organization.)

2) CCSSO, AdvancEd, and the Aspen Institute
Back in Sept. 2016, North Dakota Dept. of Public Instruction staff traveled to a CCSSO Meeting held in Atlanta, GA. As it happened, AdvancED was also holding a Symposium which fit right in with this meeting.  AdvancED even suggested you do some pre-Symposium reading. The goal of the Syposium? To supply State leaders with pre-formatted State Plans devoloped by AdvancED .
The topic of both the CCSSO’s and AdvancEd’s meetings? ESSA Implementation at the State level. While I’ve been unsuccessful in finding evidence of the CCSSO’s meeting held at the same time. I did find the ND notes about the meeting. See below:

Not long after the duo of CCSSO/AdvancEd influence over our State Education leaders, CCSSO teamed up with the Aspen Institute for another ESSA ‘guiding tool’.
Warriors, for us, it’s an accoutrement! How? It reveals how these pro CCSS groups are telling States how to act, what to do, what to say, and where to seek help.

What About Asssesments?
, it’s no secret we’re in the ‘opt out’ season. We’ve seen the ESSA evidence about keeping the 95 percent assessment rate. States, via ESSA’s mandates, will include the participation rates.

Where? In the State’s accountability reports. States will have to turn these into the U.S. Dept. of Ed. Why? To keep receiving state-formulated grants.

1) An accoutrement we can use is the Fair Test’s latest on why and how to ‘opt out’. However, this comes with a warning. Fair Test is backed by the CCSS Machine and is tied to the New World Order Foundation. Much of the ideology held by NWOF is tied back to the global mindset found in the UN (United Nations). National Education Association (NEA) is also a key backer for Fair Test. Taking into consideration how sold out to the CCSS Machine and ESSA, the NEA is, don’t trust their advice!

2) What about the global push for assessing education?
Warriors, we know Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) isn’t  going away. PISA is a tool of the OCED (Organisation for Co-operation and Economic Development). OCED loves to work with the UN.
Here’s an accoutrement you can use. The Center for Curriculum Redesign (CCR), has published a series of articles about the need for MORE skill based assessments. This is only one part of the puzzle the CCSS Machine uses for advancing CBE (Competency Based Education)

I found out about this when a stranger posted to my Common Core Diva Facebook page with the message to help save future doctors, workers, etc. Since I’d never heard of this person before, I wanted to check it out. Here’s the article. Below, see the screen shot from the end of the competency based assessment article. I’ve underlined 4 easily identifiable CCSS Machine supporters.

The CCR has 2 ‘must have’ accoutrements. The first addresses the 21st Century need for more assessments. The second addresses the workforce/skill based ‘needs’.
Why these are such a prize set of accoutrements is they are designed leaders and the more corporate minded education reformer. These will tell us what is coming and how our students will be over-assessed to fit a job slot, not their minds.
(*Note, Warriors, take your time exploring the CCR’s website. You’ll find international education groups, participating countries (example: Finland, which may be why we’re constantly comparing America to them), corporate partners, philanthropic groups, and more.)
