Wicked Web

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I’m so glad we are able to help each other find facts and truth main stream media leaves out.

Recently, I shared an article with you about the new UNICEF initiative called “Generation Unlimited”. Not only were you able to see how it aligns with the G20 Education Declaration, but other global overreaches.

In response, I’ve had quite a few of you reach out with more connecting dots I hadn’t even heard of. Thank you!!

Warriors, we know the global overreaches impact the federally led overreaches we’ve seen in education. Like the intersections of a spider web, these catch the States and local education in a trap.

Through my research, as well as others like me, we’ve been able to see the federal legislation become endorsed and embraced by several Presidents, the current one included.

We’ve also seen mountains of evidence which show the support for the CCSS Machine led take over is from BOTH major political parties (even at the State levels of government).

Again, think of the spider-web like deceptions we’ve been handed as ‘truth’.

Many of us have wondered just HOW embracing  the Trump Administration in all this educratic BS. After all, weren’t we promised by him that an end to globally (United Nations) led influence and programming was going to happen? Weren’t we told that data mining would end and that Common Core had to go?

If you’ve not read my latest article (embedded above), you didn’t see how the current DC ‘swampiness’ is STILL in education.

Although the U.S. exit from UNESCO is to take place Dec. 31st, 2018, read this statement from the United States which pledges our continued support of the initiatives, ideals, etc. of UNESCO in SPITE of our ‘exit’.

In the remainder of this article, you’ll see what I hope to be new and important information in our War Vs the Global Core.

Warrior Carol R has graciously agreed for me to share what she’s discovered about the overreaches by both (Republicans) Rs and  (Democrats) Ds:

christalk1To learn about the FCC’s mandates for children’s tv based education, go here.
To see how I tied not only to ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), but also to the United Nations and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), which is the UN’s biggest trap for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), go here.

To learn about Ajit Pai, visit here. (*Note: as we know Pai’s stance on net neutrality has proven great for the CCSS Machine member groups like Verizon.) Then consider the digital economy tied to 5G (Fifth Generation cell phone communications). That digital economy depends on STEM heavily.

Of course, the UN fully embraces all of this.

Carol also shared that the U.S. has a lot of ties to the United Nations which come through some back doors into education. Maybe you knew about these, maybe not. However, to arm you with as much information, as always, here you go:

1) U.S Congressional “Smart Cities Caucus” was ‘kicked off’ in March 2018. The ties to education? Internet activity and workforce. (Remember, ESSA embedded workforce readiness as part of the birth to death alignment in education.) More on Smart Cities from the UN’s SDG Zone can be found here.

2) Venture Smarter, a P3 (Public Private Partnership) devoted to supporting the UN’s SDGs, especially in regionalism.

To learn more about leadership of Venture Smarter, visit here. To learn about their upcoming Ohio Conference (where you’ll see the city of Cincinnati is in a 2030 District) and the sponsors (includes the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security), go here.
To learn more about the IEEE 2017 Conference on Data Mining, my previous article will give you lots of information.

3) American Cities as UN Creative Culture hubs. That’s right, Warriors, since 2008 (Santa Fe, NM) and other cities (more recently, Paducah, KY) are tagged as collective centers for the arts. Funneled through the Visitors and tourism agencies in your town, you may find your residence in a UN designated hub.

The Arts are very much a part of the educratic shift. Especially under the UN’s SDGs. How? STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math). The Arts are just as controlled as the workforce based education. The National Endowments for Arts and Humanities, as well the National Assoc. for Music Education (NAME) sold out years ago to the CCSS Machine.
**************************************
Think about this, Warriors: so much about the shift in education to workforce means control. Then consider that much of the shift via the CCSS Machine points to socialism, as does the UN. Being an artist should mean creativity at YOUR discretion, not the State’s. Much like living under Stalin’s rule, artists HAD to subscribe to the beliefs of the government in order to paint or dance.

********************************************

4) U. S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation
This particular part  of the U. S. State Department (housed in the U.S. Bureau of Education and Culture) not only ties to the UNESCO via the World Heritage sites, but relies heavily on P3s. You may not recognize this Bureau, but if you’ve heard of Fulbright Scholars/Teachers, then you know part of the Bureau.

Also connected to the U.S. State Dept. is USAID. I’ve covered their ties to the CCSS Machine before. You may be interested to know that the USAID also has an Ambassador Program. It’s tied to a 5 year contract with an education NGO (non governmental organization) based out of Pakistan.

From Chris, another dedicated activist, shared this. President Trump’s national security plan embeds the SDGs from the United Nations. See the screen shots below.

Warriors, then look at this one:

damningSDG
(Source for both screen shots. Emphasis is mine.)

Warriors, let this sink in, the very President who is saying the U.S. will leave UNESCO, has woven the UN’s SDGs throughout his Security plans. As one of my dear Warrior friends compared this to : “withdrawing from UN councils while allowing UNESCO to control America’s K-12 standards, assessment and accountability policies is like allowing the pedophile down the street to watch your kids while you go to the capitol to fight porn.”

**Warriors, we must realize that several of our Presidents have aligned us to the globalization of America, not just one former one OR the current one! As I’ve urged you before, LOOK at the evidence, NOT the political party!**

usnow

President Trump’s National Security Plan:

Warriors, here’s the link to the 68 page National Security Strategy as laid out by President Trump.

Below, are the key word searches I did throughout the document. The key words were ones that show ties to the UN’s SDGs. To give you an idea of how these are woven in, use the ‘sustainability’ as an example. Like always, look for yourselves!
Sustainability is woven in 4 times. Under modernizing our military (p. 29), economics, growth and security (p. 38), business and trade; diplomacy and legislation (p. 39).
Key to all this is the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

Peace, 42 times; Poverty, twice; Education, 3 times {P. 18 ties to economy; P. 20 direct mention of STEM; and, P. 33 culture, commerce, and co-operation among nations}; Partnerships, 10 times; Water, twice; Land, 41 times; Equality, once; Food, once; Energy, 51 times; Innovation, 20 times; Technology, 20 times; Infrastructure, 32 times; Production, once; and, Communities, 12 times.

Closing:

Warriors, it’s tempting, to want to cast the evidence aside, especially when it comes to a political person we supported (or still support). We CANNOT afford to do this! As Warriors, we MUST face the fact that our leaders are NOT putting America first, therefore, they are not protecting us.

If we assume by voting by party things will improve, then we’ve become like the silk encased victims found in spider webs.

It’s also tempting to want to marginalize each other when truth like this comes out. I urge you to NOT do this!

We need each other to continue to stand up against tyranny! You love America, so do I. That is WHY we have been fighting for so long to expose and STOP this type of indoctrination via education.

The globalization of America is well under way, Warriors. Be the spider’s predator, not its prey.

FTF: CCSS Testing Bill? Maybe, Maybe Not

Why are those in charge of so much in education STILL stacking the deck to serve CCSS?
Have you noticed how many politicians are jumping on the education reform bandwagon for ESEA? A deal for them…or us?

By now, you noticed the news of the Common Core laden, high stakes assessment bill that is known as HR5 (aka: “Every Child Achieves Act”). It’s a nasty bill disguised as a good bill that would seek to give the states back their authority in education. However, the irony is the states don’t need to take back what has been theirs all along! Very active anti CCSS warriors have exposed the HR5 for the Trojan horse that it is. There’s also been much talk about a bill that would limit student privacy information. Another masked enemy, when you look beneath the surface. Again, much anti CCSS evidence has been presented on this bill (aka ‘Vitter Bill’). Today’s “From the File” article, however will NOT focus on these 2 bills. IT will focus on the current amendment concentrated on removing national assessments. Could this be yet another Trojan horse? Let’s see if we can find out.

The Bill:

Presently, the bill I’m referring to is “Student Testing Improvement and Accountability Act” or the “Tester Bill”. The name ‘Tester’ is in reference to the bill’s sponsor, Sen. Tester from Montana. Sen. Tester is a former teacher. He’s also a current CCSS supporter. I refer to this statement, “”When Senator Tester voted to support Common Core he made it clear that he believes in President Obama’s government-mandated education curriculum and that Washington D.C. bureaucrats know what’s best for our students- not Montana families.””

His bid for nationally recognized education reform news surfaced back in April 2015, on the local news, KRTV. Their write up is a feature on his senatorial  website. The irony is, that will Sen. Tester SAYS his bill is designed for good things..the ‘killer’ statement which discounts all of his efforts?? See below:

“For local and statewide testing, like the Smarter Balanced Assessment Testing, those regulations and policies will remain in place.”

To access the entire write up, see: http://www.tester.senate.gov/?p=news&id=3902

I’d like to point out that Senator Tester is suggested ‘grade span testing’. This is where one assessment, per child per elementary, middle, and high school grades are needed. He also shares that THIS will be a federal requirement.

Here’s a radical idea, politicians:
how about the legally binding, U.S. Constitutionally minded parameter: NO federal education requirement???

While the date in this picture has passed, our opportunity to contact our legislators with the CCSS truth, hasn't passed!
While the date in this picture has passed, our opportunity to contact our legislators with the CCSS truth, hasn’t passed!

In another article, Sen. Tester admitted that the abundance of assessments our students face now WON’T decrease..just which government entity enforces them. Here’s an excerpt:
“My proposal doesn’t limit the number of overall testings required, except for those required by the federal government.” I’ll point out that just before this point from Sen. Tester, it is shared that local school boards could decide when it comes to assessments. However, if all the current regulations and policies tied to SBAC and PARCC are to remain in place (see the quote above where this is highlighted) how CAN the locals decide anything??

Politically motivated?:

In an effort to do a great job of giving you the facts, I’ve found an article which might help us understand WHY politicians like Tester and Vitter present us with legislation which appears to be good but in fact, isn’t. Tester has recently been pegged as a leader nationally for the Democrats. Vitter is seeking  the office of Governor. My point? Both are in key places for 2016’s elections. One is considered masterful at obtaining victories in matters not so easily won. What can we as anti CCSS warriors do? Plenty! We know the truth! We know how to raise our voices!

The Campaign FOR Student Testing Improvement:

I was contacted just this weekend with news of the “Tester Act” by a reader on this blog. The reader was offering it as what appeared to be a tip. However, it was a bit confusing because the reader posted it as their “anti CCSS words”. (in response to the Memorial Day Weekend challenge to collect as many anti CCSS words as possible) The website the reader pointed me to is one that’s been put together by supporters of the “Tester Act”. Who’s behind this push for support? The nationally recognized “Network for Public Education”.

The website: http://www.networkforpubliceducation.org/2015/05/ask-your-senator-to-support-the-tester-amendment/
The website:
http://www.networkforpubliceducation.org/2015/05/ask-your-senator-to-support-the-tester-amendment/

NPE (http://www.networkforpubliceducation.org/about-npe/our-positive-agenda/):

The Network for Public Education has some very well known former and current education people. If you look at the list, you’ll note that at least 2 of these folks are often featured as warriors against the CCSS.

I’m not so convinced about one of these leaders. Why? Because too much accessible evidence is available to point to changing education for the ‘common goodfrom this leader. As we all know well by now, this is a dangerous attitude.

Common Core and all that goes with it are ALL about the ‘common good’. While others have uncovered evidence that suggests we proceed carefully here, I was able to uncover that the same leader so seemingly vocal about ‘no CCSS’ is a firm supporter of it’s post-secondary portion: Career and Technical Education! How many times have we learned if you’re going to be opposed to the CCSS Machine, you MUST be opposed to ALL of it?!?!

Closing:

My point in revealing the above information: is even in the War Against the Core, we must be wise in whom we are listening to; what portion of the CCSS Machine we are unwittingly supporting when we don’t recognize the buzzwords used plainly in communication. While the bandwagon may contain big ‘movers and changers’ in this battle; it isn’t necessarily the CORRECT place for us. We must stand firmly behind the FACTS about Common Core Standards!
Those in the  positions of leadership (and thus, offering what appear to be solutions worthy of our attention) are throwing so much at us, the warriors against CCSS, that we can be easily distracted. As proof, I offer the following (on the surface) good things which are being used so we won’t notice the bad things (what’s embedded in each bill):

Think about it, HR5 has been portrayed as a great equalizer in the federal vs. state education claim; Vitter’s Bill is being presented as the great data protector. Tester’s bill is being promoted as the ‘super assessment savior’. Closely related and equally packaged as a great answer to our educationally undermined country is the HEA (Higher Education Act). It’s big claim? Lightens the student debt loan.

Big bucks run big companies. Big companies back HR5. So does D.C.
Careful who your partner is in the education reform circus in America!

Lastly, here’s the link to the file for the ‘Tester Bill’:

It’s not lengthy, but it’s still full of hidden agenda.

RMT: Time for a CCSS Warrior Check Up?

Are we sowing seeds of unity in our war against the Core?
Are we sowing seeds of unity in our war against the Core?

Today’s anti CCSS warrior riddle is simply this: Are we so busy fighting the Common Core Machine, we’ve turned our angst towards each other? Let’s find out!

Warrior Burnout, Warrior WannaBes, and the Know-it-alls:

Let’s be honest…people are weird. Especially when they are trying to organize and become united in a purpose. For those of us fighting Common Core, our purpose SHOULD be preserving our freedom to choose what type of education is best for our students without federal overreach. However, the longer I’m in this battle the more I see division among the united front. This is bad  of news. No team can be effective if there’s dissension among the ‘ranks’.

See if you recognize any of the following situations:
You’ve met to discuss how to talk to your school board or district and someone walks away feeling worse than when they arrived. The reasons why they leave feeling worse can be vary, but the results are the same: I took my time and energy to come and what I had to say wasn’t valued. OUCH

You’re leading the meeting that has been advertised as an ‘informational session about CCSS’ in your area and the guests start correcting you. EMBARRASSING FOR EVERYONE

You’re the first time guest at an anti CCSS meeting and you know some of the people, but feel so overwhelmed by all the name dropping (of which you know about 2 people mentioned) that you begin to feel you’ve wasted your time and this battle is  just not worth it. UGH

You’ve lead for so long in fighting CCSS you just want some help, but all you hear is “You’re so great at it..you keep it up.” To which you counter that with, ‘No, come help me.’ Nine times out of 10, you still are at it…and with no new help. WEARY

My warriors, do any of the above situations make for a great united front against our true adversary? NO! What the situations above show is that we’ve not really given our all to the task at hand…ending Common Core in every way it has overtaken our lives.

By behaving in the ways shown above, we are allowing the pressure to get to us. In our thirst for credible evidence we immediately want to dismiss anything about CCSS that doesn’t come with a pedigree and at least 5 cited sources. (I realize, as I hope you do, that is not a literal example). What does that make our goal? That the war can wait while we have to have proof that CCSS is wrong? That its agenda is un-American? We have the proof! Let’s not get so caught up in the ‘where you’d get that’ that we throw the CCSS Machine a victory…by us getting so weary, we turn on each other.

What Can We Do?:

It has been my experience in leadership that in order to stay focused on your goals, the following actions need to be in constant check:
1) Is the leader leading well?  You can spot a good leader by their honesty, their humility, their willingness to walk along with you if you need it, their ability to point you in the direction of others when they do not have the answers, and their ability to keep your group centered on the task of defeating CCSS.

2) As a team member: are you being honest, humble, working well with others, completing all that’s been asked of you to do? If you are researching, are you using reliable sources, including the links, documents, etc. so that others in the group can access it for themselves?

3) As a group: are you meeting regularly? Is communication good? How has the Standard Procedure for any business you have to conduct been laid out? Is it being followed? Is there any dialogue set up for when there is a disagreement so that every walks away feeling valued?

4) Has the group set up a statement of purpose, a mission statement, or a value proclamation? If you have, great! If not, you should. Keep it in front of your members all the time. An example for a good grassroots purpose statement is this:

We, the members of Johnny’s anti Common Core Group determine to be united in our actions. We will choose to fight against the Standards and all that they stand for. We will choose to not fight among ourselves in order to accomplish our goal.

Why This Matters:

Like a family, no organized group will survive well if planning and purpose are not present and always in motion. Taking the time to organize the efforts of your group, especially when a statement of purpose is created, means the group is agreeing what the purpose is. We have enough ‘leaders’ trying to make us dance to their tune, why would we do likewise in our anti CC warrior groups?

Now, I know WHY organized groups hit snags…especially where our students are involved. It’s because we care what happens to them. If you can’t agree on anything else, start there. You care.

Things to Remember:

In this war, each of us has a unique talent we can use to bring down the CCSS Machine. Let’s help each other by allowing those talents to be offered freely.

In other words, let the person gifted in research, conduct it. The researcher may not be a public speaker, but your group has a person who adores it, have them share the researcher’s findings. When presented, IF you have credibility questions, ask them politely. Don’t correct a person who’s leading with “What you did wrong in your presentation is _____________.” Behavior like that shows narrow mindedness and an ability to not want to work with others. IF you believe information to be inaccurate, speak in private. All of us are busy, no one has time for a sour puss warrior.

Keep in mind, humans make mistakes. It doesn’t mean the end of the war. It simply means grace needs to be applied, as well as forgiveness. Leaders should never ask their team to do something they will not or cannot do. That rule of thumb has been one I’ve used in every leadership position I’ve held. It’s a classic one. If a team member makes a mistake in fighting CCSS, fine. If a leader does, fine. No one person is more important in the war..we are all VALUABLE. Just like when we were kids, admit the mistake, learn from it, and move on.

Not every famous person fighting CCSS is worth listening to. Just like, not every ‘Joe blow citizen’ is either. Why would I say this? Frankly, not 100% of the people fighting CCSS will like me..or you. That’s just life. After all the research that has been conducted in fighting CCSS, we’ve been able to watch and see which famous warriors are credible and trust-worthy.

But, are we so sold out to them, that we forget the everyday, not so famous, warrior can be JUST as credible and trust-worthy? Don’t be blinded..truth is truth, no matter who it is who delivers it.

One Last Thought:

Yes, time is moving quickly in this war. Tempers will flare, passions will be at fever pitch. In our haste, let’s purpose to preserve the united front we’ve worked so hard to present to the supportive side. Let’s not give a hint of chinks in the armor. We know what they’ll do with it..ram a sword an ‘inch wide and a mile deep’ through us.
