Anti Fed Ed Warriors, how many times have we heard that PL, ‘personalized learning’; especially in this, the ESSA Era (Every Student Succeeds Act); will help our students acquire more AND better information? What about how much the PL will boost their performance levels? It’s been proven that PL is a out and out lie thrust upon parents across the nation.
The ‘better information’ is the SAME information the rest of the non PL students receive. The reality of PL is that it constantly assesses our students with mind-numbing algorithms and agenda.
So, one more ‘virtual’ on-line PL school shouldn’t hurt, should it? After all, it gives the busy parents one more ‘choice’ in how to educate at home OR how to supplement the 7 to 8 hours of school work your student receives in a brick and mortar school!
Oh, yes, I’m absolutely certain Johnny and Suzy will want MORE school work once they get home. ESSA’s mandate for 365, 24/7 on-line access to ANYTHING educational is coming true at harmful speeds.
The problem, Warriors, is what’s being considered ‘educational’ could be OR it may NOT be. It’s like the old saying of ‘if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and, quacks like a duck, then it probably IS a duck.’
In other words, slap the name ‘school’ or ‘educational’ on something and presto-chango..it IS acceptable..especially in the ESSA Era.
However, I believe (based on research) that this type of purposeful deception should be exposed AND avoided.
Warriors, it isn’t the duck which needs to ‘get out’ of our way; it’s the water the duck swims in that we should ‘get out’ of!
This CA based, 2015 corporation can be accessed on-line, here.
For a quick run-down, this on-line, virtual school offers over 3,000 classes. These ‘classes’ are offered over all 7 days of the week, and 24 hours a day. Teachers are located all across the globe.
Here’s the short sales pitching video:
In looking at just a few of the classess offered, I saw “American Girls” (which has aligned to the CCSS Machine), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), pre-algebra, SEL (social emotional learning/grooming), and herbal gardening.
There were tons more offerings. However, what I noticed was those ‘teaching’ are charging parents per pupil (the prices I saw ranged from $89.00 per ‘learner’ to $200.00) for the ‘privilege’ to sit in front of their computers and ‘learn’.(*Note: the SEL teacher’s biography extolled her virtues in leading kids in physical movement while at a brick and mortar school. But how do you ensure a child’s actually moving while on-line?) These fee-based classes run in 4 week, 8 week, or longer sessions. You have to register separately for other sessions.
Look at the ‘fine print’ when signing up for a session of classes and you’ll discover that you’re purchasing the teacher’s materials and therefore cannot receive a refund.
*Why bring up a cost for classes? The main website advertises joining for ‘free’! According to the OutSchool’s terms of agreement, the virtual ‘school’ is really an on-line education marketplace for you to shop!
As part of the OutSchool’s privacyparameters, when you pay for ‘success’ in these classes, the teacher gets to video record your student.
What group or CCSS Machine members are behind OutSchool?
From the OutSchool’s “About Us” page, it appears several young and upcoming CCSS Machine disciples are at the helm of this marketing scheme. For example, one of the key leaders used to work at Testive (a SAT assessment prep group). I exposed Testive’s alignment to Common Core back in 2015. Another leader was previously tied to Cambridge. Cambridge is in on the global data mining and education track.
Below are some of the OutSchool investors:
To see the sources for these investors in undermining true education:

To see the Sesame Street website, that’s here. To see my revealing article about Sesame Street aligning our youngest learners, that article is here.

Warriors, if you’d like to see what types of sellouts to the CCSS MachineOutSchool is hiring, look here. If you’d like to readWHYOutSchool chose to ‘get out’ of the educratic spotlight, until recently, I’ve provided that for you. Over on SiteJabber, OutSchool has 2 mixed reviews. One from a teacher’s viewpoint, and the other, a homeschooler.
Warriors, how will any school choice be regarded as ‘personalized’ or ‘free from the government’ when the same aligned resources are being embraced?! We cannot treat education as the new ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ when it comes to the CCSS Machine’s overreach into our family homes.
How can we tell folks to get out of one system, only to see the SAME system ensnare them elsewhere, and say little to nothing? We must we the type of Warriors who are fearless in exposing the wrongs.
Much like that OTHER‘marketplace’ offering great deals on health care (until you read the fine print), this educational marketplace needs to be vacated IMMEDIATELY. It offers zero savings and 100% agenda!
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we know there are continued links between ‘federally led education’ and globally led education. We also know these ties which lie between education and our communities are deeply embedded. To that end, I’m using ‘global, smobal’. The “global” is self defining. The “smobal”? My take on ‘small town gone global’.
The manifestations of these ties are easily found in the UN’s (United Nations’s) SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), as well as the American laws: WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014), ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015), HEA (Higher Education Act, currently being re-written), and any other law which combines any of the above.
Thanks to many Anti Fed Ed Warriors and many other Anti Global Education Warriors, we’ve been able to see what programs are being used to breed so much collectivism. As we know, the UN’s SDGs use education as the single most important ‘change agent’ to infiltrate our towns and cities. (Source for image below)
What do some of the activities look (or sound) like to bring the UN’s desired alignments to fruition? I have a few examples below:
Global, Smobal: Part One:
Warriors, recently I was in Georgia attending to family business. While helping out, I found myself in a doctor’s office where I picked up a local magazine. The magazine was all about the arts and culture of the area. As I was thumbing through the pages, I stumbled upon an article about a county at the opposite end of the State, where the citizens are finding Career Clustersas a great unifier for them.
One of the reasons this particular magazine was featuring the far away county? Since it appears to be such a great success in one rural area of Georgia, it can be an equal success somewhere very similar in another part of Georgia.
See how the local magazine’s writer ‘sold’ the Career Clusters Pathway alignment:
(Source for the article, see page 99 and those immediately following)
To learn about the Georgia county featured, go here. Notice on Page 6, the amount of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) aligned workforce education, as well as those ‘wonderful’ Career Clusters. Note that the County’s schools are charter ones. Notice among the community unifying buildings is a new innovative amphitheater. By sheer coincidence, the area I was visiting had just completed their new amphitheater.
Global Smobal, Part Two:
Also, in the same magazine, another article about a multi state effort to join businesses and education. This effort is geared more for adults than the previous article, where students are the main focus. To find that article, go to page 93 and those immediately following. Below, is a screen shot of one of the pages:
If you’d like to learn about the STEMIE Coalition, (STEMIE stands for ‘Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math linked to Invention and Entrepreneurship’) STEMIE is based in CT with leaders in CA, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, MA, NH, OH, OK, SC, TN, and TX).
It was the AL based Champion Network (link is in the above screen shot) which helped STEMIE Coalition get started. Visit STEMIE.
Warriors, the ‘global smobal’ here that this new type of business and education collaboration is a direct product of STEM. The purpose of the ‘teamwork’? Redefining how communities work.
Below is a screen shot of the early 2000s Tool Kit education-for-sd-tool-kit-fully-highlighted-1.
(*Note: this article is just one where I give you more context for the Tool Kit.)
As we know, STEM is a UN directive contained within the SDGs.The redefining of our communities? That’s straight out of the SDG Tool Kit. How does STEM tie to the Career Clusters? Read the ‘research’ behind STEMIE. The free K-12th grade curriculum for STEMIE? Aligned to the Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards and, is based off the PAST Foundation’s framework for education.
PAST Foundation is based in OH, but is an international group devoted to project based learning combining STEM and anthropology to prepare for 21st Century careers. PAST’s public private partnerships are what make this twist on STEM‘work’. Warriors, as we know, the increase of P3s (public private partnerships) was a mandate of ESSA, the Every Student Succeeds Act.
Global Smobal #3:
April 21st, 2018, my local town newsletter is advertising the Global Youth Service Day. According to the town’s information, this workday is the only one devoted to children (ages 6 to 18). What type of projects will be completed? Local service projects to benefit the collective community.
If you want to see how sold out to the UN’s SDGs the YSA(Youth Servicing America) is, look below:
Warriors, if you access @YouthSDGs (Twitter), you’ll find a tweet where the 17 Sustainable Development Goals reveal 169 targets throughout them. You’ll also find how targeted our youth are to achieve the collectivism of it all.
Remember, these are woven into education across America! Regardless of where you go to school.
More Global, Less Local:
Warriors, look below at this screen shot of the March 2018 ISO Technical Committee for Asset Management Systems Reporton attaining the SDGs through good management of your organization’s assets. For our context, think your city budget and city employees:
As if high-jacking the city budget isn’t bad enough, check out the SDG 2030 Board Game you can use to teach your kids! (*Note: you will be asked to register to download the game, board, dice pattern, and, questions. They will appear on your computer has zip files.)
Warriors, in what other ways are your businesses, towns and schools working together in these types of ways? What about the rural Americans? How are they being encircled? Look around you, my friends!
Warriors, if you haven’t seen the connection of all the UN/SDGs and STEM to your country’s demise at the hands of the CCSS Machine, I hope this article has helped shed some light on the dastardly wicked deceptions going on in education. We are well on our way to being that‘STEM nation with a STEM people for a STEM economy with STEM jobs’for a global good which was inserted in America during the previous administration. Presently, no stopping this global dagger which pierces our hearts has been given by the current administration.
Greetings, Anti Fed Ed Warriors. We’re upon the end of January 2018. It seems like our War Vs the Core is reaching new lows.
What do I mean? We’re seeing more and more educational news censorship on Facebook than ever before. We’re seeing Congress continue to pimp out education in the name of national security and transparency. We’re seeing anti CCSS (also anti Fed ed) Warriors, ‘jump ship’ on the matter of what true school choice is AND isn’t. We’re also seeing our elected federal level leadership do absolutely NOTHING to slow down the constant (and egregious) un-constitutional assaults on our fellow citizens.
While all the DC madness is spreading like wildfire, we Warriors, MUST stay diligent. We must be VIGILANT. We need to be firm and confident when standing up and saying “Not on MY watch, you don’t!”
Call it ‘truthful sass’, Warriors.
Some Score Keeping:
While the CCSS Machine’s grinding away globally, have you any clue as to just HOW much co-operation the US is giving the efforts? As we’ve learned over the years, the CCSS Machine is VERY nebulous (which means covering large portions of every aspect in educational alignment goes on all at the same time) AND very well financed. Much of the support is from the UN (United Nations).
The UN has infiltrated our education system on every level, and, in every type of learning via the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). From elementary schools to private universities and everywhere in-between, the SDGs are influencing what is taught, how to think, how to be so collective, you literally lose yourself, and MORE.
Below is a screen shot of the current ‘scores’ on theSDGs. The US is not pointed out, but IS included in these scores, due to our existing membership with the UN.
(*Note: Warriors, while it’s true SOME of our UN ties have been decreased and/or eliminated, the SDGs remain due to the fact our nation is STILL a member of the UN at all.)
UN’s SEL Impact:
The truly sickening part about the SDGs influence in education is that what is carried out in the classrooms and associated projects FEELS like it’s all been up to the school/teachers/students and citizens.
Warriors, much has been in the ‘Anti Fed Ed News’ about SEL lately. (SEL stands for ‘social emotional learning’.) SEL focuses on your mind.
It is being used by the CCSS Machine to warp our students brains. Seriously.
How did this happen? Buried in the SDG Tool Kit (for implementing the SDGs in all aspects of America via ‘education’) are some sinister SEL tactics. The agenda behind this Tool Kit? Have citizens/communities/schools/partnerships think it was THEIR idea to participate/act upon/become collective; not a ‘forced upon you’ mandate. This is blatant manipulation, Warriors.
To access the Tool Kit, go here. To read how Congress and other DC agencies are embracing the SDGs via legislation/programs, go here.
American Education Partners With The UN:
Warriors, hundreds of American schools from little ones to adulthood, are active and willing partners with the UN. A large portion of these partners are found in the higher education institutions. Currently, there are 41 global higher education associations in existence. Look for yourself, how many will involve American public and private colleges, universities, and other types of adult education.
For example, I looked into the AASCU (American Association of State Colleges and Universities), first. Warriors, over 420 nation-wide colleges and universities across all kinds of economic scales devoted to the ’21st century readiness’ of students. The group also influences policy, both in legislation AND education. Much of the SDGs Tool Kit manipulation is carried out via policy.
Then, the AACC (American Association of Community Colleges). I’ve researched this group before and it, most definitely is a CCSS Machine member organization which impact millions of Americans. This group has several commissions within itself. Of these, there’s one for ‘college readiness’; then ‘economic and workforce development’, among other agenda driven titles.
My previous research on BOTH the AACC and the AASCU proved just how sold out to the CCSS Machine both groups are. Again, both of these are UN Academic Partners.
The Score From D.C.:
So, Warriors, not only do we have a global score against us, our own federal government can be counted in as ‘willing’ and ‘able’ participants in the illegally based and backed education reform.
From the U.S. Senate HELP, January 30th’s hearing on re-authorizing the HEA of 1965(Higher Education Act). This 3rd hearing (the 2nd one was last week) will focus on ‘accountability’ and taxpayer risk. Witnesses include:
If you wish to listen in to the Kangaroo Court led by Senator Lamar Alexander (Tennessee), follow thislink(be sure to refresh it for a ‘live’ stream).
From the U.S. House’s Ed and Workforce Committee, a hearing also on January 30th. This one is about FEPA (Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act). FEPA supposedly is a good thing for America…if you listen to the CCSS Machine disciples Reps. Ryan (Wisconsin) and Foxx (North Carolina). However, many Anti Fed Ed Warriors, have exposed how lethal this Act truly is. It would create a nation-wide, trackable data base on not only students, but everyone. Among the witnesses for this hearing, is Jane Robbins. If you missed her warning about FEPA, hereit is. Jane is the only visible anti Fed Ed Warrior on the docket.
Follow thislinkfor the Ed/Workforce hearing. You’ll need to refresh the link, for ‘live’ stream.
Recently introduced is HR 4760, introduced 1/10/18 and currently in several House Committees, including the Education and Workforce Committee. This bill is titled, “Securing America’s Future Act of 2018”. Washington News Daily(WND.com) broke the hidden UN-like police state agenda yesterday (Jan. 28th, 2018).
While WND’s research shows a biometric national I.D. card for every American, my look at HR 4760 shows ‘education’ is woven into the proposed bill 21 times.
Buried in the education language is the Higher Education Act, as well as the GED exam (general equivalency diploma), and, K-12th grade educational institutions!
*Notes of Concern on HR 4760:
1) The GED has been CCSS aligned since Pearson Publishing bought it. “Diploma” has been replaced by ‘credential’. Much of the UN/CCSS Machine reform includes ‘credentials’. Most, at a national level.
2) Warriors, ‘biometrics’ is a tool of the CCSS Machine’s ed reform as well as the SDGs!
3) A national I.D. Card is un-constitutional. It is direct violation of our rights of freedom and privacy. It also will tie right back into FEPA!
Anti CCSS Warriors, Anti Fed Ed Warriors, and Concerned Parents, in my last article, I spelled out for you the grab for our students who are most at-risk. For today’s I will be diving into the federal education grab for those who are among the special needs population. Maybe, by now, you know how ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) harms these students. Maybe, you would like to know more.
While ESSA is supposedly only to oversee K-12th grade education, I’ve shown you (as have others), that ESSA covers before Kindergarten and after 12th grade.
As you may also know by now, WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), ESSA, and HEA (Higher Education Act) all support each other 100%. WIOA is embedded in ESSA, so is the current form of HEA. When the NEW version of HEA is passed, it will almost without a doubt embed BOTH WIOA and ESSA.
Why? Warriors, remember, the goal for aligning education ISN’T about academics, it’s about work trained citizens. Special needs students are involved in this net of education lies, too!
Page 23 of the Law tells us that the States can set ‘alternative’ education Standards for those with the most cognitive disabilities. However, on Page 25, you’ll see this:
“Technology”, “higher-order thinking skills and understanding”, ‘necessary to measure..’
From the sounds of these 3 phrases, those who wrote and endorsed ESSA were either clueless or sold out to the CCSS Machine. In reality, some special needs students will not ever be capable to attain ‘higher-order thinking skills and understanding’! Yet, this law clearly demonstrates that no exception to the mandates for ‘measuring’ and ‘technology’ use will be tolerated.
Much like the students in “Captive”, these special needs learners will not be treated with dignity or respect, but, shoved through a pipeline system.
Early ESSA Evidence:
Warriors, as you know, I’ve stated repeatedly that everything in the ESSA Final Conference Report can be found in the ESSA Final Law. I simply have used the Conference Report due to the ease of eye strain.
However, I want us to first, go back and look at where I pointed out the alignment dangers for special needs, and then see what’s happened in between time. 1) This article traces the support for national and global groups supporting ESSA (at that time what would live on to become ESSA) for special needs, especially at the post-secondary level. As we know, to have post-secondary alignment, you have to have it in place at the secondary and elementary levels, too.
2) You’ll see more CCSS Machine member organizations pushing on-line tutoring for the special needs learners in this article. 3) In 2016, just as elections were heating up, I put together a ‘need to know’ school board articles. This is part Three. It’s where I have several pages ‘called out’ in regards to all the harm ESSA had in store.
What you see below is ESSA’s Page 28. No where did I see the parents as ‘stakeholders’ included in the special needs student team.
On Page 57, use of IDEA funds are thrown in for those learning English. (*Note: you’ll also find more about this on Pages 159, 161, 162, and, 164 of ESSA):
On Page 150, look at the control and data mining aspects for special needs students: Warriors, on Page 151, you’ll find that school leaders, teachers, and related staff will be able to identify, at an early age, which students are most at-risk for not achieving literacy skills due to disabilities. I ask you, is such an important diagnosis to be turned over to educators? This type of diagnosis should be a physician’s or psychologist’s!
Related And Worth Considering:
1) What ‘alternative teacher or teacher training’ will be unleashed on the special needs students (all ages) in your State? I showed you last week how NC’s HB634 will use people from the private sector to fill teacher jobs, especially with SEL (social emotional learning) experience. While these people may possess SOME of the talents to lead, that does NOT make them a ‘teacher’. Given the experience needed by teachers for this student population, how is this the BEST for them? Also, what about the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports), the school counselors? Here, I showed you how students, including special needs are faring in ‘real time’.
2) Grants from The Gates Foundation to National Center for Learning Disabled to support the CCSS Machine’s shift in education.
a) 2016’s Grant(for expanding ESSA activities in targeted States)
b) 2015’s Grant(for ‘personalized learning’ in special needs education. AKA: technology)
3) From the National Center for Learning Disabled, their hype on personalized learning.
4) The (CEC) Center for Exceptional Children’s“Life Centered Education” curriculum. It is used by many special education teachers across America. Time mark 1:08 (video below) shows the CCSS co-relation. This curriculum is data-driven. The curriculum is based off the “School to Work” 1994 Law, according to the Teacher’s Guide. While I cannot share the Teacher’s Guide link with you (copyright infringement), I can point you to where you can access it. (*Note: click on the download button, upper right hand side of the page)
Also from the CEC, is their 2017 Annual ConferenceGuide. In it, you’ll find workshops for special needs on UDL (Universal Design for Learning) and many other CCSS Machine ties like CCR (College and Career Readiness), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), RtI (Response to Intervention), and more.
5) From Congress,HR 3199(in the current session of legislation). It is to amend the HEA(Higher Education Act) for ‘better access’ for special needs students beyond high school and into colleges or trade schools. States will be submitted, yet again, to competitive grants for items like ‘career pathway’direction, data mining, and more.
6) From“Child Abuse in the Classroom”, a page dedicated to what some of these systems and programs for mental manipulation actually contain. (*Note: pay attention to the “Child Find” information.)
Warriors, to ‘bamboozle’ someone, you mean to confuse them. How horrible is it that the ESSA language and mandates are written to confuse these type of students who already face their own unique set of challenges? How trite of the CCSS Machine to disrespect the parents and guardians of these children in the name of ‘success’.
*Special note: since the publication of the “Captive Education” article, I’ve had new evidence surface for ‘at-risk’ students. Be sure to look out for that article!
Welcome to Part Two of my series devoted to those running for elections, especially the school board positions across America. Like this Weekend’s article, it is lengthy, but you MUST know this information! Your schools depend on it.
Of all the grade groups Common Core Standards have impacted, the K-12th group has been the most talked about, the most publicized. If you have followed my blog long enough OR heard any of my speeches, chats, or interviews, you know that I have purposed to expose the CCSS Machine in all the other areas and educational choices. However, I have plenty to share with you concerning the K-12th grade group, too. For example, if you are seeking office, did you know there was an initiative which set CCSS into motion? (and which the ESSA will continue?!) For starters, see the picture below of the track Pre-K-12th graders are experiencing thanks to Common Core State Standards Initiative!
The CCSSI (Common Core State Standards Initiative):
What do I mean by the CCSS Initiative? Simply put it refers to the entire scope of not only the CCS Standards, but the agenda which accompanies it; the resources (including curriculum and assessments); and ANYTHING else connected to the Common Core.
As many anti CCSS Warriors have stated since the ESSA’s passage, we have been lied to about this! As a candidate of any race where education will be impacted, this is probably the single MOST important information you can glean from this series!! Do not simply take the mass media or Congress’s word for it, we ARE NOT free from the Common Core State Standards Initiative!
The only references I have found to the CCSSI (Common Core State Standards Initiative) in the ESSA Final Conference Report (that over 1,000 page bill no one in Congress appears to have bothered to read) were located on page 130 (pertaining to standards and assessments), page 825 (pertaining to educational waivers), page 843 (pertaining to financial support from the federal government and how its officials/representatives are limited), page 859 (‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit a State from withdrawing from the Common Core State Standards or from otherwise revising their standards.”)
Now, if you only stop there, as both the U.S. Congress and the mass media did, you can say this language means exactly what it says, that the States were no longer tied to the Common Core!
Candidates, think of it this way, “Whatever happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas.” Educational federal law plays the same game, whatever started in the ESEA was carried over each time to some degree or another until the ESSA. ESSA, however, makes the previous versions look like a powder puff.
Alphabet Soup, D.C. Style:
Before we ‘dig in’ to the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015) to learn how it will continue the Initiative behind Common Core:
1) Know that the ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965) got replaced with ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) in between these two? NCLB (No Child Left Behind) followed by the RttT Initiative (Race to the Top).
2) Know that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), STEM to STEAM (same as STEM with the Arts added in), WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014), CTE (Career Tech Education), CP (Career Pathways) are also woven into the ESSA Law. (*Note: If you did not know that STEM is part of the Presidential agenda for education, I urge you to read one of my very first blog articles where the Report detailing HOW STEM was the among the ultimate goals of aligning America via the CCSS! See: https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2014/09/02/from-the-files-pcast-stem-and-common-core/)
Why you, as a candidate, need to know this? STEM is a huge selling point among the States for not only education, but for a workforce. STEM is also woven into the WIOA of 2014!
As a candidate, knowing which alphabet soup acronym stands for which one is important.
One more game D.C. has played with us about all this? The ESSA’s Final Conference Report has been reduced to a mere 391 page law! You will find all of the same points from the Report embedded in the Law, just not as wordy. We need the entire context so we can know how we are being duped into the lie that CCSS will no longer be a player in American Education! You can access both documents in Part One of this series.
From the ESSA Language Itself:
One thing you can count on is this, the shift in name fromCommon Core State StandardstoCollege and Career Readiness as well as Challenging State Academic Standards, is about the only shifting there will be, as far as names.
You have to look harder at the Law. As evidence look on Pages 5 & 6. Here the tricky language begins. It’s context is about what programs will continue to receive multi-year funding and which won’t
(As a candidate, you need to know which programs in your school districts receive multi year funding and were provided for under the old ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Act of 1965), NCLB, RttT, you need to read this passage so you can understand how the ESSA will continue select programs.)
Why this is important: it is to cover the TRANSITION from one law to another!
Speaking of transitions, look at Page 7 where you will see what the Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Education is in charge of in regards to the States! “ORDERLY TRANSITION.—Subject to subsection (a)(1)(A)(i), the Secretary shall take such steps as are necessary to provide for the orderly transition to, and implementation of, programs authorized under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 6301 et. seq.), as amended by this Act, from programs authorized under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 6301 et seq.), as in effect on the day before the date of enactment of this Act.”
Pages which follow this excerpt lay out the dates for the transitioning to begin. As early as July 1, 2016, folks!
Other Pages and Sections, You as the Candidate MUST Research:
Section 6, embeds all of the old ESEA into the new Law.
Section 1002, gives a grand total of the federal money to be awarded among the 50 States for the next few fiscal years. You, as the candidate, need to see the amounts, as well as the strings attached (ie: assessments).
Section 1003 details the strings attached to Section 1002.
Section 1004 details all the ‘Direct Student Services’.As part of the ‘Services’, this is where you can see the WIOA and CTE begin to appear for elementary and secondary students. It is here you will see the AP(Advanced Placement) Courses and IB (International Baccalaureate) students encompassed. How will this make a difference in your candidacy? The amount of funding your State receives and the hoops the LEAs (local education agencies) are to use the funding. Not only that, but jobs mean money for your States. The economic health of America has been a huge selling point from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (courtesy of Bill Gates Foundation) and has been passed on to each State via the Chambers of Commerce. You will also see that in this Section, parents and higher education are also included in the alignment mix.
Section 4107 details for you what is meant by “Activities To Support a Well-Rounded Student”. As a candidate, you need to know this is where the P3s (public private partnerships) will have an increased presence in the classroom, where communities are expected to align and help educate all students, and more! As part of the ‘Activities’, this is where you will see STEM really focused on.
Section 4108 details all the ‘Activities to Support Safe and Healthy Students’ your state must have (includes sex ed, behavior management, assessments, mental services, and so much more) As a candidate, read page 447 very carefully, as well as the immediate pages around it.
Section 4109 goes into all the digital and technology strings for education. This is a huge point of every school district and state budget. Read it, candidates!
Section 8005 State funding for elementary/secondary administration consolidation plans. (Remember, candidates, follow the money trail from the top down) Section 8201 goes into more detail about money States receive from the federal government.
Page 489 begins the 21st Century Community Learning Centers. As a candidate, you need to know this is going to totally transform not only your local schools, but your communities. This Initiative is a huge part of the CCSS Machine! It has roots in not only the White House, but a entity called the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. If you do not know about this, PLEASE contact me, I will be happy to provide the information you really need to know!

Page 919 introduces the phrase “Ed Flex Partnership State” and will be given to every State meeting the U.S. Dept. of Education Secretary’s conditions. As a candidate, you need to read what those parameters mean.I urge you to read from page 919 to 941 so you can see how private schools are included. Of special note to you will be page 937 where the general public is to be informed of any State educational application for waivers (means money for your State and local districts). Also, page 938 points to a bridge (if you will) between elementary and secondary education to post-secondary education via Perkins funding.
Candidates, is there more that will impact your K-12th graders? ABSOLUTELY! Will it be only the public schools hit by this? NO! Run your race with integrity, with truth, and with everything you can to kill the CCSSI! Part Three will address the post-secondary alignment of education according to the CCSS Machine.
