Anti Fed Ed Warriors, it’s “Made in America” week, as proclaimed by the President of the USA. It’s also an opportunity to trot out every supposed positive move about job creation, the booming economy, and, innovation. The agenda supporting ALL of these 3 things? Workforce aligned education!
Workforce aligned education is something the President has gone out of his way to not only continue, but increase its power. Something VERY unconstitutional, too.
Warriors, as we know, the President is not the only DC official to fully back workforce aligned education. CongressLOVES it. The CCSS Machine loves it, too.
Educrats and corporate sell-outs all across our nation, from BOTH major political parties openly embrace workforce aligned education. If you don’t believe me, read the evidence, here.
As we also know, workforce aligned education has been re-branded about as many times as “Common Core State Standards” has been. Workforce aligned education is CTE: Career Tech Education; STEM/STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, (the Arts), and, Math; CCR: College and Career Readiness: PL: Personalized Learning; CBE/OBE: Competency Based Education aka Outcome Based Education, and whatever apprenticeship/internship or workstudy program your State has attached to all of these above.
Why or how? The federal overreaches between the U.S. Dept. of Labor and U.S. Dept. of Education. The workforce based alignment includes data mining, data tracking for life, assessments which pigeon-hole students of all ages and school choices for work/career tracks. These are also known by Career Clusters/Career Pathways, and Lifelong Learning.
The root of ALL of the workforce based/aligned education is the UN, United Nations. Especially through their SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals.
The support for the root of workforce aligned education, in America, is ‘off the charts’.
From one of my “Prudence Files” articles, the green denotes workforce ties.
This means the agenda, is also ‘off the charts’. What’s worse, Warriors, is this will be a driving force behind our upcoming elections in 2020.* Agenda dressed up as success is really a national failure. (*Note: the link above is Part 5 of my Prudence Files series, detailing all the Presidential candidates. You can easily access Parts 1-4, from this article as well.) Warriors, again, green denotes the workforce alignment support.
So, if you are celebrating the supposed good news about “Made in America” week, stop and consider what it is you are allowing to be carried out. Think about what it is you are really endorsing. Then, look at your children, your grandchildren, your young neighbors, and, little ones you meet around town. Look them in the eye and let them know that “Made in America” is really indentured servitude.
*Note: if you are upset by this article, I invite you to join me to fight back. This doesn’t have to be our children’s future. If we continue to cheer on the agenda, that’s exactly what we’ll get. If we wish to remain a free country, we’ll fight with tenacity.
Warriors, I am but a mere messenger, I did not create this agenda, nor do I support its existence. As you know, I’ve held ANY political figure or political wannabe to a critical standard, as is our citizenship duty. Regardless of political party, this agenda is thriving.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, in my last article, I showed you the at least 20 year old movement to ‘expand time’ in the name of ‘education’. If you read that article, you saw that the goal wasn’t a true academic advancement of oneself, it was more about a student/worker hurried up and churned out as a ‘competent’ skill based apprenticeship leading to a job.
However, what if I showed you, there’s a much more devious plan afoot?
Warriors, we once experienced history where Germany attempted to ‘rule the roost’. If you’re like me, you weren’t born then, so you didn’t live through those horrors.
Immediately after World War II, America was one of the 4 countries in control of the restructure. Many years later, the changes which were made, showed through in education. How? By way of the economic structure, the corporate structure, and, the government structure changes.
Yes, the US was involved in the German restructure by pushing for ‘democracy’. Since America’s a republic (by ourConstitution), I wonder what would be different today, had the push been for a ‘republic’.
So, imagine, that in 2019, in America, some of those very Germanic restructured roots showed up.What would you do? What has OUR government done? What has OUR economy done for education? What has OUR corporate structure accomplished?
******************************************************************** The educratic global shift we’ve seen is NOT the fault or total undoing of one country, it’s been a controlled and well financed group effort!
Enter the Word Game surrounding “Competence”:
Warriors, if you’re like me, every time you hear certain words, you cringe. Especially when you research items. You may also be like me, and see the larger picture looming in the background because you’ve seen so much. Case in point, “Competence”.
****If you choose to access the German/Latin roots, you may need to use your internet tool for an English translation.*****
My fellow Warriors, you know how I’ve shown you, over the years, the word games used against us. I’m not assuming every educrat in DC or your State knows the watered down English version of ‘competency’; but knowing it has more to do with other things than true academics, do you see how it’s been used to further the agenda?!
Look at it this way, ‘CBE, competency based education’: NOT ‘expert’ based education or ‘skill’ based, BUT ‘legally controlled and authoritatively carried out’ education!!
English speaking countries may mean ‘skill based’, but NOT“expert based” or ‘legally/authority based’. But, if the educrats did mean one version, and, assume you and I believe the other, then it’s the Latin meaning of ‘clashing’.
It’s also a ‘classic set up’, we’ve seen the CCSS Machine used repeatedly, you look one way, while I undermine the other way.
So why, in the context of ‘competent’, would the German version be more accepted and in 2019?
****Because it is the closest to align with the UNESCO/OECD* plan for authoritatively controlled workforce based training NOT academic prowess!!****
(*Note: OECD is short for Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. UNESCO is short for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization.)
Warriors, why would it matter what the German usage and meaning of ‘competence’ really stands for? Because when it’s accepted as their nation sees it, it’s about a collective reflection of education interests of the society….not each student.
This is an approach DC has been taking for years. Especially since the Johnson Administration straight through to the Trump team.
Come with me, Warriors, as I show you the German model America has heartily set us up to embrace without hesitation. (How much of the current system is based off Hitler’s? Read and find out.)
Warriors, Germany still calls education which trains you for a job or a trade as vocational education. Americans called it ‘vo tech’.
Some Americans, to this day, believe ‘vo tech’ is not only still an option, but should be taught. In 2006, that term ‘died’ and was replaced. (Yes, Warriors, another word game.)
That’s when our US government changed what the definition of ‘vocational education’ was. The ‘training’ portion was also redefined. How? The government funding! However, even the CCSS Machine still uses ‘vo tech’ in America to confuse us!
Congress, at least, has finally stopped lying about how education is seen. Look below, this sentiment is readily spoken and shared by BOTH major political parties:
A German Commissioned Study:
Warriors, I found this undated (appears to be very recent, though) commissioned study by Bertelsmann Stiftung (an education based social change group. They heavily support a ‘school to work’* concept.) But, it’s WHERE I found it, you will be interested in. The American “National Career Pathways Network” website. (*Something we’ve seen DC embed for years now.)
The German Study features an ‘expert’ from Germany who is considered the ‘go to’ guy on vocational tech training. His name is Professor Dr. Dieter Euler. He’s known across the world as the specialist for reforming vocational tech systems.
Warriors, I’ll share some of the most troubling points from the Study. I trust you can see the ways in which our nation, our government, and, our corporate overreaches have set the same shift up in American education. I encourage you to read the Study on your own.
1) The shift to work based learning (also called dual enrollment) should be the main focus of vocational tech/training. The main target? Citizens under 25 years old. (Page 14 has a brief history of combining education and work.)
2) Many countries are looking at the success of Germany’s system because it’s been spun as a ‘win/win’. Students get fast tracked education, employers get trained workers.
3) America’s not as developed in dual vocational tech, yet. But, the shift is being increased with ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and its embedding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), and HEA (Higher Education Act).
HEA is currently the last national US law to receive the ‘school to work’ makeover. Congress is dead set on increasing the German based concepts. How? Increased CTE (Career Tech Education), which replaced ‘vo tech’, increasing apprenticeships andinternships, increasingdual enrollment, and anything connecting them all.
4) The 11 Vo-Tech Reform Components can best be accomplished in ‘incremented innovation’ programs and learning. The shift in education and work training is also metered out in ‘incremented segments’.
Switzerland’s cantons are in charge of all vocational based exams. (In America, we are divided into States, Swiss has cantons.) Cantons have their own government set-up, but they cannot contradict the federal confederation.
In the Netherlands, they are receiving lots of global attention in vo-tech education. Why? Their 1996 Adult and Vocational Technical Training Act* merged education and labor into 2 training tracks. One was/is school based, the other is dual workforce training (or vocational tech training). *See Point 2.4. Notice the regional vo-tech training centers.
All the countries mentioned above are using national credentialing systems. Why? The ‘big essential’ is ‘real life conditions’ can best be experienced in dual vo-tech training, not necessarily education (you’ll see that referenced on Page 30.)
Warriors, every ONE of these are things are either already in place in America, or the framework isbeinglaid out!! How?College and Career Readinessvia ESSA, WIOA, HEA, and more!
The screen shot below is from an old article of mine on apprenticeships in America, but notice the wrench and hammer symbol.
Study Warning Bells For Us:
1) By government and business ‘rule’ a ‘consensus principle’ will be put in place.
2) By government and business funding, education and training, especially for jobs will be ‘easier’. But at what cost of our freedoms will this be?
3) “Industry specific solidarity contributions”. What will these look like? Grants for apprenticeships!
4) A merger of economics, family, and youth via integrative vocational training (Norway has had this since the mid 90s). 5) A ‘flexible’ vocational education/training track for disadvantaged citizens.
6) “Quality standards” for vocational tech training and education mean laws, not scopes and sequences we’re used to.
7) Teachers and Trainers will have government controlled ‘hoops to jump through’. Their section begins on Page 52. Look for the “Ordinance on Trainer Aptitude”. Then, read what the UN (United Nations) has on this. 8) Class size changes will occur. Being done away with are the large, teacher led classes. What the shift to vo-tech training will produce (already in use in Denmark) is small ‘hubs’ or groups. These groups will spend 5 weeks at a time on one module, then switch to another. A large ‘completion logbook’ is kept on each person. This is their version of ‘personalized learning’.
9) Expect more ‘education research groups’ and ‘vocational analysis’. Germany’s model has been deemed so successful because all the reform is based off ‘in-depth’ research.
I was curious as to what other reforms this German ‘expert’ has been a part of. Here’s what I found:
A) From 2006, A Swiss paper on ‘E-Learning’. A mandate for vocational training/education to be including in the SVC(Swiss Virtual Campus).
B) From 2010, Euler’s paper on developing and transitioning vocational technical training and demographics. He predicted a labor shortage by 2025. Below is the screen shot for the 2013 Journal/Report in appeared in.
C) In this undated McMillian Publishingproof, Euler was a contributor. So was the Aspen Institute. Euler’s topic was ‘Reflective Executives: A Realistic Goal for Modern Management Education’. A brief summary (Page 11) of Euler’s work reveals that ‘management education’ is more of a control tool, than it sounds. Aspen Institute wrote on 2 different topics. One was on business and its relation to social and environmental issues, the other, “A Closer Look at Business Education: Sustainability in Curriculum”. This book was written exclusively for an audience of humanism followers. Warriors, it’s important to note that much of the UN’s overreach into education is rooted in humanism.
D) From 2013, The Routledge Companion to International Management Education had Euler write on “Reflective Leadership: A Vision for International Management Education”. As you can see (below) ‘international management education’ is tied to the UN’s design via the GRLI (Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative). This screen shot is a bit hard to see, so be sure to go to the link above and read it there. When you read the GRLI and related information, you’ll see international managed education is NOT about training or educating people for managerial employment, it’s about controlling education altogether!
Warriors, with the process for the HEA heating up before Sen. Lamar Alexander retires, we have got to inform our representatives and senators about what they are supporting and trying to further. We are America, not Germany 2.0! We are free Americans, not UN led-by-the-nose citizens!
With all that you’ve learned in this article about the words being used against us, you know the UN/UNESCO/GRLI attempts to fast track apprenticeships (like Citizen Schools and the German model) will be lumped in under ‘lobbyists’ and ‘special interests’.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we all know the story of the “Emperor’s New Clothes”, right?
Basic themes in the story are vanity, money, and deception.
Those same basic themes can pretty much sum up the educratic shift in our classrooms across the globe. Here in America, we’ve definitely seen the greed and deception take our academics away and replace it with workforce training.
So, what happens when you take a CCSS Machine member group like IBM, attach a shiny new coat of deception to education and add it to a notoriously bad on-line school?
A slick sales pitch with a hidden agenda attached!
The “New Collar” Is Still A Servant’s Collar:
Warriors, IBM’s CEO, back in 2016, came up with a new phrase for the same old CCSS Machine alignment: “new collar jobs”. Below is her opinion column in USA Today:
Part of the CEO’s plan for ‘new collar jobs’? P-Tech Schools (I exposed them years ago). These schools are 6 year high schools which focus on industry skills at a ‘community college’ level.
Community colleges have been called ‘Camelot’ (by the CCSS Machine) for their access to all school choices intersecting and the ability to carry on (or introduce) CTE, Career Tech Education, CCs (Career Clusters), CPs (Career Pathways), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math), dual enrollment, and, concurrent enrollment.
IBM, late 2018, announced that Ireland became the first country outside of the US, to adopt P-Tech. Notice how IBM is taking credit, as well as using ‘local educators’ as the creators.
K-12, Inc., A Long Time CCSS Machine Member Group:
Warriors, back in 2015, I showed you how K-12, Inc. was in the CCSS Machine, as well as in co-operation with the NASBE (National Association for State Boards of Education). If you followed me back then, you also know I shared with you the struggle NC (where I live) had with keeping K-12, Inc’s. terrible track record out of the State, only to allow it in the end, as a school choice. Then, there was the overreach by K-12, Inc. into homeschooling. If you read their recent “Student Impact” report, you’ll see lots of hype about increased student engagement.
So, with such an awful past, why is K-12, Inc. still in the ‘education’ business? Look below for one reason why:
This is the recent ad K-12, Inc. ran on social media:
The goal for K-12, Inc.NOW, is to be a part of building a national career readiness infrastructure. One of the ways this will happen, is ‘the right education’, not “more education”.
How will the K-12, Inc. folks know they’ve helped close the ‘skills gap’ (another CCSS Machinefallacy)? By sending “K-12 powered” students into the workforce.
As far as the partnerships K-12, Inc. is building to have all the career readiness infrastructure take off? A direct quote, “To do this, we are aligning with higher education institutions, school districts, and industry partners to offer career training. We are working to pair this training with summer jobs, externships*, paid internships, drop-in training, and part-time and full-time employment opportunities.”
(*Note: ‘externship’ is a temporary training period.) Be sure to notice which ‘top companies’K-12, Inc. mentions to work for in the article linked above.
The Reportthe Center on Ed/Workforce has published (which K-12, Inc. is basing their infrastructure plan off of) doesn’t state ‘Hey, we’ve got a few suggestions.’ It clearly states their findings are ‘requirements’. Among those ‘requirements’? STEM jobs!
Warriors, below is WHYGeorgetown University is so biased about an educated workforce:
If you cannot read the print,Lumina Foundation, Joyce Foundation, and, the Gates Foundation are the main funders of the Georgetown Center on Education for the Workforce.
So, if you’re going to change the national infrastructure to career readiness, these are a few of the groups which will be involved.
The Career Readiness Partner Council:
Warriors, if you’ve not heard of this Council, it’s been around since 2012. Housed in the Advance CTE National Association (a huge CCSS Machine group). The list of Council members is long. You’ll see all of them are CCSS Machine members, too.
CEP (Center for Education Policy):
Warriors, this CCSS Machine member group has published many CCR (College/Career Readiness) documents. Most are geared for one goal: 21st competency skills graduates.
Warriors, this Arizona State University and Univ. of MN backed on-line group, have all sorts of STEM activities (which are CCR dressed as fun)
CCREC (College and Career Readiness Evaluation Consortium):
Warriors, this group works with certain States and those States GEAR UP grants.
GEAR UP is a federal program which is 100% workforce based. It uses STEM, CCR, CCSS, and, CTE. The Consortium also partners with Act, Inc. and is a heavy student data collector.
NCPN (National Career Pathways Network):
Warriors, be sure to read their “Items of Interest” section. You’ll see CTE and STEM promoted. You’ll also see the IBM‘open collar’ article. You’ll want to read about the German based ‘vocational dual training system’, too. (*Note: among the top items of the German study, are economic goals, social goals, and, personal goals.)
Warriors, don’t forget to change an infrastructure you have to have legislation. So Congress is an obvious CCSS Machine group to watch in all this.
Don’t forget, all the job websites (like Monster and Indeed, etc.) will have career readiness or career assessments. Our federal government gives States grants for One-Stop Job/Employment Centers. These will be huge CCR locations.
Warriors, the last place we will need to watch for ‘infrastructure’ changes in education is the HEA (Higher Education Act) as it is readied to become re-authorized. I have shown you over the years, how the HEA is the last link in the cradle to grave workforce education chain. Career Readiness will be a huge part of the new version.
Believe me, the educratic emperors will be strutting all over the nation with THAT shiny new coat of deception.
(My article where the above image first appeared.)
**Personal note: Warriors, I’ll be offline until the first part of April due to computer issues and family business. Take care until we meet again!
Use our time apart to review any of the past week’s mega articles, jam packed with links for your Warrior’s belt.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, you’ve heard me say for a long time that the LAST chain in the birth to grave education alignment is the HEA (Higher Education Act) as it is re-authorized. Since ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) embedded the HEA (along with WIOA, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) within its 391 final law version, we learned the goal all along is what you see below:
So, Warriors, the million dollar question is, what will the new version of HEA’s goal be?
We know the “every” in ESSA means ALL children in PreK-12th grade (no matter what choice) to be aligned to post-secondary ‘readiness’ standards. Those ‘standards’ aren’t educational ones, but those workforce standards created and credentialed BY industries found in WIOA. (Which is WHY both WIOA and HEA were tied to ESSA’s mandates)
If we were to illustrate the WIOA/ESSA/HEA consortium, I think this is what we’d see:
Notice there are no faces, no personalities, only workers.
The CCSS Machine has taken the old saying ‘All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy’and applied it liberally throughout all the Machine touches! It is doing everything it can to make Johnny and Suzy as dull as possible.
What does Common Core show up in higher education? CTE (Career Tech Education), STEM and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, (the Arts), and, Math), Apprenticeships/Internships, dual enrollment/concurrent enrollment, continuing education, reskilling, community colleges, public and private universities, trade schools, on-line or hybrid college programs, CCR (College/Career Readiness), CP (Career Pathways), CC (Career Clusters or Career Chunks), CT (Career Tracks), AP and IB courses/classes, adult charter schools, and any assessment related to all of these.
Why? Because the HEA/WIOA alignment begins well before adulthood!
Previous HEA (Higher Education Act) Updates:
1) The last time HEA was re-authorized was 2008. It’s been renewed (meaning funding streams) have been updated in 2016. Usually the re-authorizations of federal education happen in a one-two type of punch in the gut. However, the ESSA was passed in Dec. 2015. Congress did try to pass legislation for HEA in the 115th Session, but the bills died.
2) In 2014, I showed you the actual Adult Common Core State Standards. These were used in HEA institutions and K-12th education across America. If you didn’t know it, I showed you how Perkins funding (supposedly funds higher education) is actually based on your State’s 5-17 year old population.
3) In 2015, how College Promise was a cog of the CCSS Machine. P3s (Public Private Partnerships) are a huge part of the intended ‘success’. You also got a look at how those higher education degrees were being ‘profiled’ (data tracked) in 2015.
4) In 2016, before HEA was ‘renewed’, I showed you how a University of PAsymposium gave a bird’s eye view of the CCSS Machine’s plans for HEA‘improvements’. When the renewal funds were announced, I showed you how this would impact our students of all ages.
5) In 2017, you got to read and learn about how ‘free college’ for all was the way America can ‘get smarter’ without a massive debt load (aka higher taxes) & how ‘all education’ is considered CTE (Rep. Virginia Foxx’s infamous quote is in full color)
6) Last year, 2018, I used the higher education true cost for NC taxpayers to show you have federal ‘aid’ has hurt ALL our States. As we know, if it’s in one State, it’s in all the others! In August 2018, I gave “Wormy” Awards to the HEA, along with several other laws and CCSS Machine member groups.
So, why show you previous updates? Because all of what hasn’t passed into HEA before NOW, will be thrown in the newest version of HEA! It will be another ‘kitchen sink’ bill!
**Special Note: Sen. Lamar Alexanderretires when the 116th Session of Congress is dismissed. (Meaning Jan. 2021) The ‘new’HEA is rumored to be his last ‘gift’ to Americans.
Top Priorities for HEA:
To access the articles cited above, you’ll find the National group, CTE Watch’s information here. Rep. Scott’s, here and here; Sen. Alexander’s, here.
In 2014, the Inclusive Higher Education Committee wrote a letter to the Senate HELPCommittee addressing how the HEA needed to make sure it provided for those with special needs, especially in relation to WIOA. I’ve reported on this before, but be sure to look for what ‘new’ agenda items will be embedded in the updated HEA.
In a 2014 letter to Senator Alexander from the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the need for tougher action in HEA towards accrediting groups not interfering with diversity policies.
*Be sure to watch for this, as accrediting processes via ESSA, WIOA, and HEA have seen changes which aren’t good.
In 2015, The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights published a financial report which included higher education. On pages 4 and 5 you’ll find all the references to the HEA. The group was studying if low-income students, students usingTRIO and GEAR UP, and under-served students, could not only afford college, but survive economically.
*No doubt the newer HEA will have something about this included.
From 2018, the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), urged the entire Senate HELP Committee with this quote about the HEA: “NACAC urges the Committee to continue this aspiration (expanding opportunity & access to higher education in America) through this re-authorization as our nation and economy have benefited from the federal government’s investment in higher education.” The NACAC also wants to support GEAR UP and TRIO, while seeing DREAM Act legislation embedded for undocumented students.
*As if the tax burdens on Americans isn’t enough, paying for anyone’s free college is a mistake. What will we see of this in the newest HEA?
From late 2018, this Forbes article shows us, Anti Fed Ed Warriors, some ‘ammo’:
Forbes, from this year (2019) gave 4 predictions about the HEA. One of them was ‘income sharing’
When Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House in 2015, she had this to say at the beginning of her statement on the 50th anniversary of HEA. Now that she’s Speaker again, what will we hear?
1) Sen. Alexander was the sponsor for the SUPPORT Patients and Communities Act. It’s main focus was on the opioid crisis. We know drugs are used in schools via mental health programs and services, which this law increased at a federal level. This will tie to the Be BEST White House initiative, where SEL (Social Emotional Learning) is a kingpin from the CCSS Machine.
3) According to the Tennessean, Sen. Alexander will spend his last years in Congress focused on two agenda items: health care costs and higher education.
4) In the Rep. Scott information link above, you’ll find he wants to review ESSA as a top priority in the House’s Committee on Education and Labor. He’s wanting to increase the inflexibility exercised over the States.
5) My February 2019 look at the HEA amendment Bills from Congress.
In my next article, I’ll be diving into a NC based group which influences higher education across the nation. Are there ties to the HEA? Most definitely. Ties to the CCSS Machine, more than likely.
Warriors, we must fight the Big FourAND the CCSS Machine when it comes to the HEA.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, what’s wrong with the picture you see?
Is it that ‘Workforce Development’ is eclipsing academics? In some circles BOTH are considered ‘education’.
However, in the shift the CCSS Machine has forced upon our nation, workforce development (aka: workforce based education) has become the sole focus in schools. Here’s what we should be seeing:
Workforce Development (aka: Workforce Based Education) ‘hides’ in the following educational ‘systems’: Common Core State Standards, College and Career Readiness, Career Tech Education (which took the place of vocational tech), STEM and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math/Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and, Math), dual enrollment, early college, concurrent enrollment, fast tracked career courses, apprenticeships, internships, Career Pathways, Career Clusters, Career Tracks, and anything connected to all of/or a portion of these.
Workforce Based Education‘hides’ with these education ‘delivery’ methods: Project Based Learning, Competency Based Education (also called Competency Based Learning), Outcome Based Education (also called Outcome Based Learning), SEL (Social Emotional Learning), virtual learning, coding, career shadowing, competency based assessments, daily algorithms embedded in any STEM or CTE course/class, WorkKeys, Springboard, Aspire, GED (know called the “HSE”, High School Equivalency; the TASC, “Test Assessing the Secondary Completion”), any program, course, class, or extra curricular club with ties to the United Nations (accessible to all school choices), or anything connected to all of/or a portion of these.
The Executive Push Is Really A Shove:
Warriors, back in August of 2018, I wrote about the Strengthening CTE (Career Tech Education) for the 21st Century Act (Public Law 115-224). Here’s an excerpt from that article:
“So, once again, the CCSS Machine has been playing agenda word games with the citizens ever since then. Trouble is, most Americans are still remember education is as it used to be and not fully grasping the toxic changes being sneaked in under some familiar phrasing. Still more troubling is that there is almost zero ‘education’ happening in CTE (Career Tech Ed). It’s roughly 98% workforce training.”
Connected to this ‘new’ law, are the Presidential Executive Orders #13801 (2017) and #13845. The latter established a National Workforce Council. In the 2018 article (just above), I laid out for you much, much more information and research. Please refer to how toxic to education this new Council is.
Below is the effect this Council will have on our nation. You’ll see Executive Order #13801 cited. That’s no mistake. It was in that Executive Order that a council was step #6 of the action plan laid out. Executive Order #13845 IS step #6.
Following the Executive Order #13845, was a ceremonial pledge and commitment that over the next 5 years, over 200 companies and 6.5 million new education AND job training opportunities would be offered. (*Note: It was during this White House ceremony, the National Council members were first mentioned. Below, you’ll see I’ve referred to a Feb. 2019 Bloomberg article with those names. They haven’t changed.)
Enter Ivanka, Part One:
Warriors, if you’ve followed my blog long, you know I do not care what letter follows a politician’s name. The agenda is the same from BOTH major parties. Minor parties, also have the same agenda.
However, Ivanka Trump is not a politician. She IS an advisor. Ivanka Trump is a STEM disciple, as well. If you doubt her agenda leads to the UN (United Nations), I’m embedding all my articles with her involvement and overreach.
Workforce Development is her ‘baby’ in the DC Administration. In Feb. 2019, Bloomberg broke the news that the Council members were chosen. If you read the order, these members were hand picked by various federal agencies and offices.
Enter Ivanka, Part Two:
Just a couple of days ago,the National Workforce Council had it first policy meeting. Much fanfare was given to the great gathering. If you were look at nothing but Ivanka’s Twitter feed, you’d think America had hit the jackpot.
Warriors, that’s exactly HOW all this ‘lifelong learning for lifelong earning’ is being spun. One of the major problems is that the ‘lifelong learning’ is a code for “workforce training”. Refer to the cycle visual above.
As far as the ‘earning’? That depends. In a workforce based society (also called the caste system), very few get to keep their own wages.
If you’d like to read Ivanka’s prepared statement for the Council, find that here.
If you missed the White House live feed of the summation of the first policy board meeting of the Council, you can watch it here. If you’d rather read the written form of the remarks, you can read them here.
Below, I’ve provided you with a few visuals I know you’ve seen me use before, but fit what we are seeing being framed for our future. While you see OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) or others, know that the current DC shove in these directions is not by accident. It’s a systematic breaking down of our freedoms.
Then, if things continue to pan out in the global workforce system (as per the G20, UN, and a host of others) as they are so far in America, a merger between the U.S. Dept. of Education and U.S. Labor won’t be a dream, it will become a chilling reality:
To illustrate all this another way, look below, the National Workforce Council is combining States with federal direction for all ages to be trained. What you see below is already in place NOW.
What more of a hamster track will the Council place on the backs of innocent citizens to satisfy the economy? After all, look at the ‘outcome’: ‘economy’!
Warriors, I hope you see the depths of deception being played out in ‘real time’. This plan has been well thought out, well spun (as in all the great sounding buzzwords have been chosen), and not simply to be laid at the feet of one administration. We do well to teach our children not to lie, so why are we simply marking time while our leaders lie to us?
My fellow Warriors, sometimes in research for educratic BS (or related ties), you find something so ridiculous, it’s hard to pass it up.
Warriors, believe it or not, NC (the State where I reside) sends out a weekly email with the week in review for education bills in our General Assembly. So imagine my surprise when I see NC HB 30.
The purpose? To declare an official State Frozen Treat.
My friends, how woeful it seems; all this time, the taxpayers have been denied an OFFICIAL dessert of a frozen variety.
Go ahead, laugh. I certainly did. All the things which need legislationAND this comes up in education related business? Let’s see what we can find hiding in the freezer….
First, A Fun Fact:
Did you know July is National Ice Cream month? The International Dairy Foods Association(IDFA) established that and President Reagan declared it back in 1984. We’ll come back for a second scoop on information about IDFA in a bit.
NC Has A ‘Problem’?
From the 2019 NC General Assembly, a look at HB 30, The NC Official Frozen Treat Act:
Warriors, Rep. Torbett is a 5 term Representative. According to VoteSmart, his campaign funding can be tied to a few CCSS Machine member groups in NC. The NC Chamber of Commerce, Wells Fargo, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, American Airlines, General Motors, and, Duke Energy name just a few.
Ironically the NC Dental Association also helped fund Rep. Torbett’s last campaign. I’m truly hoping the NC dentists will be ready for all those brain frozen patients when it comes time for filling cavities. (The NC Dental Assoc. is part of the American Dental Assoc. which has evidence that ice cream alone adds 6.5% more sugar to your diet and therefore can cause tooth decay.)
If you look at the Committee assignments for Mr. Torbett you’ll not see any farmers or dairy councils. He is the Vice Chair for the NC House Appropriations, though.
Warriors, before we go further back in the ‘freezer’, go back and look at HB 30’s text.
Ice cream contributes $39 billion to the US economy but only employs roughly 200,000 people? Somebody’s sure ‘double dipping’. (Gee, could it be a brain freeze AND Common Core math-itis?)
NICRA (National Ice Cream Retailers Association):
This is a trade organization which serves up ice cream and frozen treats across the globe. Much of the service goes on here in the US.
NICRA is headquartered in MO.
Part of NICRA’s mission is to have education as part of a career track. Scholarshipsare available to young students for tuition, room, board, and school supplies.
Listed among the NICRA’s Supplier Leadership Officers is a representative of ConAgra Foods. ConAgra is a CCSS Machine member.
NC’s Dept of Agriculture & Consumer Services:
Back in 1991, the NC Dept. of Ag/Consumer Services inducted Mr. Kilgore into the NC Agricultural Hall of Fame. Look at the amount of money one ice creamery made.
Warriors, if you are wondering where Rep. Torbett got the $39 billion figure, it is right off the IDFA’s website for National Dairy Month. So here’s a question, since this is a State specific bill WHY the national figures?
Why not use the NC economic figures and job numbers?By the way, if you want local dairy economic figures and jobs created, the IDFA has a mobile app you can use.
(Source) Warriors, be sure to look at the IDFA’s ‘issues’. You’ll see bioengineered food, NAFTA (which can be tied back to WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), the (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) STEM Act of 2015, HEA (Higher Education Act), and ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), and a few more ‘sprinkles’.
To see the 2016 Rotterdam Declaration, read it here.
Warriors, just yesterday, I exposed a huge UN-led grab via STEM for our farmers. One of the biggest connectors was the FAO of the UN (Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN). Now, take into consideration that not only are the farmers getting the indoctrination, the students in schools are. Most especially that going vegan will cut down climate change.
How can you go vegan when you’re eating ice cream made from cow’s milk?! How will States like NC, agriculture based, have a thriving economy or all those jobs, if you wipe out dairy and livestock?
What do you do with the cows? Tax the farmers on the cow’s methane like CA?! In 2016, Gov. Jerry Brown certainly sold the ‘global warming’ via tooting cows. In late 2018, the regulations took place state-wide. Sadly, this is a grab to mandate what farmers feed their cows. How about this, just good ole plain grass. It’s how God made them have the capability to produce milk.
No telling how long it will be before idiotic legislation like this comes to NC, after all, there are plenty of cows here, too! Also, think about it, since taxing folks with gassy bovines has begun, what about those who eat dairy products and produce similar results?
Warriors, why would a seemingly silly bill about declaring ice cream as the official NC frozen treat lead us down so many twists and turns?Because, as we’ve learned time and time again, the CCSS Machine will take the simplest joys in education and dumb them down, while gushing how ‘sweet it is’.
So, what’s the real ‘cherry on top’ for NC via HB 30? It’s not the endorsement of good times or summer fun, it’s helping set up a dairy assembly line of worker drones for NC jobs and the NC/national economy.
Look at what NC’s got in its Career Clusters for CTE (Career Tech Education):
Warriors, if you’ve not seen the 2018 Career Clusters Guide, look atNC’s. It’s broken down over 120 pages and has a one-track-so-you-can-learn-to-earn system.
**Look at the ‘school choices’ involved in Career Clusters! This is further proof ‘choice’ is a fallacy of what’s learned in schools. It’s all the same for the same results!**
So, why did Rep. Torbett sponsor such a frivolous bill as HB 30? I’ve no proof of ‘why’, but I can show you why I believe he did:
Warriors, there you have it, one sour dish of alignment. When will our legislators skip the ‘sweet’ deceptions of globalism and bring America back? As you can see it is absolutely fruitless to say it’s all one major political party’s mess.
So, now we can all see why little ole HB 30 was in an educational email. How many of us want to bet the only connection most folks make between ice cream and education is that the school cafeteria may serve it for dessert.
(Read left to right, “The worst Educratic Trick of all: Rebranding “Common Core” into “College and Career Readiness”. Thereby forcing States to create a locked in two-track workforce prep assembly line for all.”)
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, just last week, gathering in Denver, CO was the annual NASBE (National Association of State Boards of Education).
Trouble is, even Warriors Against CCSS, attended.
*(Note: The Gates Foundation awarded NASBE $200,000.00 in February 2018.)
The Fork In The Educratic Road:
Warriors, what you see, above, is just one of the items which was up for discussion during the NASBE Conference. “College and Career Pathways “Integrate don’t Bifurcate”. This was spoken by Paul Miura of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands.
The Commonwealth is a Territory of the US about 4, 000 miles southeast of Hawaii. Paul and his wife, Dr. Dora Miura, were 2014 Teacher of the Year and2016 Teachers of the Year. Together, they are huge in the leadership of the Public School System (PSS). (*Note: ‘bifurcate’ means to divide into branches in a verb form and in an adjective form it is ‘forked’. From the Latin for ‘2 pronged’.)
Now, what I’d like to point out, is that in researching Paul Miura’s background, the PSSnewsletter I found, shows that the Islands appear to be (or were) a ‘testing ground’ for all kinds of CCSS Machine overreaches.
There was the ACT/Aspire (career pigeon-holing exam), there was STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math), there was digital device overload, high stakes assessments, the accountability for school climate (safety), and so much more. The Commonwealth PSS is also under the micromanaging thumb of AdvancEd.
The newsletter celebrated the passage of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), as well.
Warriors, take the time to read the newsletter, you’ll learn quite a bit.
So, how does Miura’s comment (as seen on Twitter) impact the rest of America?
Warriors, what Miura is saying is that it shouldn’t be “College AND Career Ready” Standards, rather, ‘College or Career Ready Standards’. Meaning you could choose either track and succeed.
What this educratic BS REALLY means is this: As a student, not knowing which path to take is UNACCEPTABLE. Taking a ‘gap year’? Doesn’t look like that’s an option anymore, either.
This is a blatant violation of freedom! No government, not even the STATE, should force students into a confined system. There are many students, young and old, who really do not know what they would like to do. It shouldn’t be the government’s job to steer them.
So, how’s this ‘bifurcate path’ playing out? It was reported during the NASBE conference, that the State of KY is going to restrict graduation from high school for those who do not choose ‘college’ or ‘career’. KY is a member of the SREB (Southern Regional Education Board). SREB was also a presenting body at the NASBE Conference.
(*Note: SREB is in the pocket of the Gates Foundation, among others. So we know, everything going on there is CCSS Machine aligned.) Warriors, read the article embedded (KY) first, then the SREB Report on KY. There are 49 references to graduation in the SREB Report. Lastly, when you click on the article embedded in ‘pocket’, you’ll see the huge digital connections between Gates, SREB, Harvard, and schools. The Commonwealth appears to have those, too.
Also stated at the Conference was how advanced other countries are in implementing career readiness via education policies. The payoff? Better economy.
To find the WA State Elementary age Career Readiness program, go here. Warriors, the WA State Elementary program is a part of the Ready WA initiative.
**************************** Then there’s the State-wide urgency to put as much SEL (Social Emotional Learning) into schools, at least that’s what IL’s doing. If you’ve heard of “Classrooms in Action”, that’s where you find 10 SEL targeted areas used on students.
Warriors, in 2008, the Gates Foundation gave the IL State Board of Education a grant for ‘college and work readiness’. Since then, the University of IL’s Board of Trustees has received several grants. One of which (2018) for ‘post-secondary readiness’.
Is there a connection to the IL State Board of Ed? Sure! The 2018 grant is to complete an initiative of the University for Community Colleges and pathways to careers. It’s called OCCRL, The Office of Community College Research and Leadership. The OCCRL is in the P-20W data tracking. (Preschool to college completion and/or workforce data tracking.)
We know Community Colleges offer dual enrollment, AP courses, and more. We also know Community Colleges have long been accessible to ALL ages and ALL education choices. However, the CCSS Machine’s alignment has been there (across the nation) for years now! *********************************
Bring In The Professor:
One big presenter at NASBE was Professor Micheal Fullan,O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) He’s also a global competency guru as well as one who spews ‘deeper learning’ rhetoric. He’s also considered a leader in education reform. Among his CCSS Machine shared information, he showed this to those attending the Conference:
Warriors, what the Professor didn’t share (that I could find) was the 6 Global Cs are tied to the Global 360 Education Model for Citizenship. I covered that earlier this year.
Oh, The FERPA Quandry:
Warriors, you know FERPA (Family Educational Right to Privacy Act) was created to help protect families from data mining, right? You also know that the FERPA was weakened considerably back in 2011 to allow massive of data mining to commence.
Every year, since then, the data mining has turned into ‘student data rape’ simply due to the amount of personal private information taken without consent or knowledge. It’s awful! You also know that recently I’ve shown you how the federal government has already earmarked several million of taxpayer dollars to increase the data mining, especially for mental health services. So, look at what NASBE just ‘happened’ to have as a Conference session:
So, how do data mining, mental health, and school safety intersect? Funding is the biggest tool. Also, as far as the CCSS Machine is concerned, if a student is identified as a school violence risk, interventions ensue. Anytime medical services are given at schools, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, or in doctor’s offices using IDEA funds (IEP services, IEPs include behavior interventions. Under ESSA, those interventions are SEL, social emotional learning tied to the UN’s mental health targets) or FAPE (Free Access to Public Education) funds (504 services), or even your insurance, FERPA and HIPPA come into play. (HIPPA stands for Health Insurance Privacy Protection Act). On October the 19th, during the NASBE Conference, FAPE funds and IDEA funds were discussed by a CO based law firm. (Caplan and Earnest). While I have no idea of the words spoken, I can show you a Jan. 2018 blog post from the firm about FERPA and what contents can be shared without the parents’ consent.
Think about the vast amounts of money the federal government has spent since 2014 to upgrade and increase the streamlines of data on patients. (ie: have you been asked by your doctor to get signed up for automated records? Once in that type of system, everything about your health is tracked and shared.) Think about the increased amount of questions and/or their content.
If you’ve not seen the vast amounts of loopholes FERPA has right now, you’ll need to read them! Enough to fill two pages. Notice how each of these loopholes do not respect what school you do or don’t attend. (*Note: this document also gives you the link the Obama Administration’s gut job on FERPA.) That ‘gut job’ is what carried over into ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). ESSA is what NASBE was using as its kingpin during the Conference.
Warriors, then there’s this:
You know, I’ve been dedicated to bringing to you HOW all of our educational choices have been and are being negatively impacted by the CCSS Machine. Homeschools have always been in ESSA’s grasp, the Conference just helped confirm it even more-so. If you’re still not sure how vast the data sharing is from a health perspective, please look at the featured picture in the header.
Related Resources: 1) In 2015, I showed you the P-20W was inserted into waivers States were given. The trade off was: harvest more data and receive more CCSS aligned rigor. This article is dated, but it can help you trace where the data tracking is hiding. In 2018, we know that not only the ESSA mandates have this system, but that our federal government has inserted all kinds of back door P-20W tracking. The warning: the data goes global.
2) In a Twitter post, the SEL ‘skills’ parents (who were polled) want their kids to learn the following character traits: respect, self-esteem, confidence, problem-solving, social skills, responsible decision making, intelligence, independence, communication, kindness, critical thinking, self motivation, teamwork, self control, patience, learning from mistakes, and compassion. These were ranked by percentage points.
3) Did you know that the U.S. Dept. of Education had also proposed expanding the SLDS (Student Longitudinal Data System) in relation to FERPA? This was back in 2011. If you’d like to see the evidence AND find the comments made for or against the proposal made at that time, go here. It would be interesting to compare the US Dept. of Ed’s proposal to that of President Obama’s FERPA gutting Executive Order. Also along this line, the Parent Coalition for Student Privacy has a good timeline of how many times FERPA has been weakened along the way by the U.S. Dept. of Education. Because FERPA has rendered parental rights almost down to nothing, we MUST demand FERPA be restored to its original state.
4) From earlier this year, testimony before the Federal Commission on School Safety(Part of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services), is this. Basically the expert called in supports FERPA’s data being shared with anyone, anyplace for the sake of protecting a child’s well being, both physically and mentally. He argues that without shared data between schools, law enforcement, and others, that children cannot be protected from danger, even inside their homes.
5) On Oct. 17, 2018, the Women on the Wall’s national conference call tied much of what NASBE was promoting (data mining, SEL, alignment to the UN) without knowing it! Talk about providence. Take a listen and share. Then compare that call with the evidence above.
6) EHealth, HealthE Schools, or TeleHealth and how it connects in a “Roadmap” form, this will be from a pro CCSS view. My research will show the anti CCSS side. (*Note: be sure to look at “Related Resources #1, 7, 9, and 10)
7) The ‘latest’ challenges the government faces for HIPPA.
Warriors, as you can see there was quite a bit going on at the NASBE Conference. It appears not any of it was good. However, again, thanks to those who went in as Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we have much to learn from. I’m not done, either. There are a few more NASBE related items we need to learn about. Use this article as a study guide, or break it into sections and re-read them. I’ll be back next week with more.
