The HC Plans

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, yesterday, I showed you how S 406 (Federal Rotational Cyber Workforce Program Act) is being fast-tracked. The article laid out for you the links between education and labor; how cybersecurity is to be increased, not only in education, but all across America. The article also showed you the federal and global co-operation where education and labor are concerned.

Below, is an old screen shot I created back from our campaign to stop the confirmation of Dr. King as U.S. Sec. of Education. Under DeVos (as Ed Sec.), all these are not only still in place, but have been increased. Especially STEM and STEAM.

Cybersecurity is not all about protecting We the People from the hackers and whackers out there. Cybersecurity tracks all we do, on-line and, we’re finding it off-line, too.

In education, cybersecurity is passed off as ‘coding’. In the early grade levels (remember, coding is available to ALL education choices) coding is called ‘fun and games’.

The 116th HC Plans:

Warriors, not only do we have S 406, but there’s HR 1592. HR 1592 directs Sec. DeVos to create a pilot program for cybersecurity education. There are other related bills from both Chambers, but we’ll start with HR 1592. Cybersecurity Skills Integration Act is HR 1592’s title.

Warriors, the supposed benefits of HR 1592:
a) Credentialed and employable US citizens
b) Improved infrastructure in the US (ties back to the Patriot Act)
c) CTE (Career Tech Education) cybersecurity will promote diversity in the workplace
d) Competitive grants will be used to promote regionalism
e) Ties back to ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 aka ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act, 2015)
f) Tracks which students get credentialed
g) Gives Sec. DeVos $10 million dollars in all for the pilot creation and competitive grants
h) Opens the partnerships up to ‘alternative stakeholders’
i) Must meet ‘in demand’ and economic trends
j) Uses work-based learning (aka apprenticeships) Ties to WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) and the HEA (Higher Education Act) Both WIOA and HEA were embedded in ESSA’s language.
k) Targets special sub-groups of the population for workforce needs

Currently, HR 1592 is in the U.S. House Education and Labor Committee.

That EO (Executive Order) Rep. Langevine referred to? That’s EO 13800, issued in 2017.

EO 13800 called for every federal agency (which included the U.S. Dept. of Education) to comply with the framework for cybersecurity. The EO also called for increased workforce development of cybersecurity.

EO 13859 (Feb. 2019) called for increased workforce development of AI (artificial intelligence) which relates to cybersecurity.

What about the ties all this will have to not only S 406, but the Education and Information Exchange Act (both were discussed in yesterday’s article)?

The President issued a Proclamation on “World Intellectual Property Day” (May 2, 2019). In that Proclamation (#9865) the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) was a key piece in intellectual property (personal private information) rights.

Warriors, the cybersecurity directly relates to all this. Also, think about the global data tracking and trails which have also been discussed in yesterday’s article and other previously published research of mine.

As far as USMCA in education, that’s a huge problem in data collection/sharing!
Back in Nov. 2018, before Congress voted on USMCA, I showed you how it would embed everything the UN (United Nations) needed for the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to thrive in the US.

Since the vote for USMCA went through, I’ve shown you other ways USMCA is not our friend.

As I pointed out yesterday, cybersecurity unites SDGs #4 and #8 (education/decent work).

Warriors, we MUST be pro-active in seeing where Congress is steering our nation. So far, it’s not in any direction we ever desired. the “HC” Plans (Human Capital Plans) are wretched and MUST be stopped!

A Response

To my fellow anti CCSS Warriors, by default this includes those against the federally led education overhaul, as well as the global overreaches.

We know, from research, that all this can be traced to one source. The United Nations. By default, that encompasses the UNESCO arm. *UNESCO means United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. (To be precise, the ‘z’ is an American spelling, the official spelling uses a ‘s’.) We also know from research that what we have known as education (academics) is becoming ‘education’ (workforce training).

While I’ve seen many anti CCSS Warriors jump up and down with glee over the U.S. State Department’s announcement that the nation is leaving UNESCO, I am not among them.  I will admit, it SOUNDS like a good move, but as always, the research STILL points to many ties which, UNESCO membership or NOT, the US will still be bound by. I’ll say it now, I am choosing to remain on the ‘offense’ side of this War Vs the Core. 

Many media resources happily shared the US’s news about leaving UNESCO, but how many of them included in their headlines that We the People will have to wait until the end of 2018? Do we really think after the many years of the UN’s foundation laying educational overreach, that a measly year will be all it takes to truly be free of UNESCO? The CCSS Machine includes UN/UNESCO.

We have to look beyond the headlines, Warriors!

Some Facts:
1) Go to the U.S. State Dept. website right now and look at their headlining article. It’s not that the US is leaving UNESCO, it’s that we MUST have more STEM, especially for women! This is a UN ‘play by the book’ move, if ever there was one!! In fact, this comes right out of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Tool Kit.  As we know, the SDGs use ‘education’ as a ‘change agent’ for all kinds of indoctrination.

In this article for Women and STEM, it states just how committed to STEM the Trump Administration is. Warriors, if ever there was a ‘hiding in plain sight’ statement which reveals the continued shift to un-American ideals, it’s that the DC leadership has totally sold out to this. The article also shows how the President has laid a foundation to cement STEM in America with the NSF and NASA programs. (Both are CCSS Machine supportive)

In the State Department’s “Other News”?  Is the fact the US and China are welcoming 3 more partnerships for economic and technology purposes. So, it’s basically an agreement for MORE STEM (although not using the “STEM” acronym). STEM means “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math”.

2) In fact, a few days ago I exposed much about the UNESCO/UN and their STEM and STEAM (STEAM is STEM with the “Arts” embedded.).

3) Following that information, I showed you how the UN/UNESCO, the WSIS (World Summit on the Information Society) and the use of technology in a “Matrix” form that’s already embedded in the US (and the rest of the world) and will NOT be going away.

UNESCO is only shown 3 times in this screen shot, HOWEVER, the 3 categories are ICT (Information and Communications Technology), Media , and Knowledge! The black boxes show the SDG #4 which is education for all.

4) The US still owes UNESCO money, over $500 million to be exact. UNESCO uses part of the money it receives to oversee our American historic sites which are considered World Heritage sites.

5) UNESCO has several P3s (Public Private Partnerships) involved in the World Heritage Sites. How many of these American or American-tied groups will be willing to leave UNESCO?

6) What about the time between now and when the US leaves UNESCO? Well, the US becomes a kind of silent partner. It’ll be around to keep a watchful eye. HOWEVER, that means ‘education’ will still be up for alignment! Also, there’s a big question about the next UNESCO leader.

7) The UN/UNESCO is really pushing AI (artificial intelligence), especially in ‘education’. This article from the Mirror (UK) is down-right creepy. My fellow anti CCSS Warrior, Alex Newman wrote and spoke about the AI being used to advance 2030 Agenda (of which the SDGs are now a part of. Previously, the SDGs were with Agenda 21, but 2030 is the newer version). Here’s what I found out about AI. Again, all this connects back to the massive WSIS/UN/UNESCO data control you see in #3 above.

8) From 2002, an article detailing why (then) Pres. Reagan removed the US from UNESCO. It appears the concern for media control is almost being overlooked in our current situation. This won’t be going away simply because our current Administration plans to remove America from UNESCO.

9) The infamous UNESCO/Gates ‘Cooperation Agreement haunts us to the this day. It is THE single most telling root of the UNESCO plan for American ‘education’! This shift is SO embedded in America, thanks to WIOA(Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), and HEA (Higher Education Act) (to name a few laws), that our extraction from UNESCO won’t mean anything different. Add to this the UNESCO (Huxley) idea of what American education should become. After all, it plays right into the UNESCO/Gates Agreement.

Also thanks to the UN, our individual States have ‘pimped out’ their schools. In this article, I show you how MN went first back in the 1980s.
Finally, for #9, the UNESCO Publication 356. It lays out what ‘global education’ should be like. There’s a tremendous emphasis on ‘commonalities’. (*Note: I couldn’t find a date of publication, but this document has been around a while.)

10) Back in the 1960s (87th Congress), there was no problem with announcing the UNESCO was Communism after our children. So, what has happened between then and now to go from ‘no way’ to ‘hey, have our kids’?! The CCSS Machine is what’s happened!

11) Back in 2010, (then) U.S. Sec. of Education, Arne Duncan addressed UNESCO. Consider his remarks and how they fit into what was being coerced upon our States. Add to that the 2014 UNESCO Report for how far the shift to Universal Design for Learning (embedded in ESSA) had progressed.

What about Secretaries King and DeVos? Have they spoken out to stop UNESCO? Dr. King is currently the head of The Education Trust which is heavily funded by Bill Gates and other CCSS Machine members. Also at the Education Trust is Amber Arellano. Her biography at the Ed Trust reveals she was previously at the UN’s High Commissioner on Human Rights.

DeVos is mentioned in this Truth in American Education article as well as Sec. Tillerson (State Dept.) as ‘playing’ President Trump with ‘education’. The UN has recognized DeVos’s family business (Amway) as one of the top companies in the world practicing biodiversity (a big component of the SDGs). Be sure to listen to the entire video below. It is from the late 1980s.

12) UNESCO and aligning teachers has been happening for quite a while. HOWEVER, it will not go away just because the US is leaving UNESCO. In fact, in 2015, the Incheon Declaration was made for all Member States and their commitment to adhering to the SDGs (Warriors, remember, education is Goal #4). As 2030 Agenda compliance dictates, that means our US teachers will have to have their professional development align!

You can see the International Task Force on Teachers (formed 2008, as part of the Onslo EFA (Education For All) meeting) Part 2 Strategy Plan. The Plan was completed in 2016. 

Closing:

Warriors, I realize this may not be a well received article. Truth usually isn’t easy to hear. I do have some optimism about the US leaving UNESCO, but with all this evidence, I am being very cautious in my thinking. I think we all should be cautious. I know we all MUST speak the truth about the CCSS Machine. I want to thank the many dedicated Warriors who supplied their documents for this article.

Early ESSA

Yes, Warriors Against the Core, we know ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) has horrid plans for our littlest learners. However, did you know there was a 2007 law factored into it as well? (If you’re in a hurry, skip to item number 7 below.)

The Law? The 2007’s “Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act”. How is this playing into ESSA?

According to a general search, the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s document embedding the Head Start Act, should show us how. (image is below)

This Guide is 37 pages and is chock full of all kinds of things we Warriors should know:
For example: the data mining, the workforce education, and the inclusion of homeless, Native American, and privately schooled children.

Below are the highlights most important to our War. We should remember that IF the U.S. Dept. of Ed survives, who leads it MUST be a true champion for these littlest children. So far, that champion has not stepped forward.

The Highlights and Low Facts:

1) Dr. John King covers his backside on the very first page and in the very first few sentences. ‘Champion for kids’? No, a chump for kids. Any leader not willing to be held accountable is a leader we don’t need.

Here’s an excerpt, “The U.S. Department of Education does not mandate or prescribe practices, models, or other activities in this non-regulatory guidance document. This guidance contains examples of, adaptations of, and links to resources created and maintained by other public and private organizations.” 

2) Page 4 reveals the guidance is given to assist States and Leaders in the ways they should go to meet their obligations in ESSA. Excuse me, but IF the whole gist of the law was to give the States back their control, why does the Ed feel it needs to assist?

This is like a parent telling a child you can eat whatever you want for dinner and then pointing out that these certain kinds of foods are what they should have. Add to that the resources are from P3s (public private partners)..take a guess as to how many will belong to the CCSS Machine, therefore, being slanted for MORE education alignment and overreach?!

3) Page 5 gives us the worn out rhetoric of ‘high quality’ early learning needs SEL (social emotional learning), anything to close the ‘achievement gap’ (Wait, what? These children are just beginning to learn, there isn’t an ‘achievement gap’!), and critical thinking (again, too early!!). In fact the source cited for the ‘critical thinking’ is called “From Neurons to Neighborhoods”. (Sounds absolutely awful, doesn’t it?)

(*Notes: 588 pages long, an army of all kinds of researchers, doctors, social agents, policy makers, and others created this study which focuses on children from birth to their first days in Kindergarten. It looks at how their brains work, how they interact, and on and on.)

Oh, and one more thing, all the Foundations tied to the National Academies Press? Up to their necks in CCSS curriculum and resources.

4) Page 6 begins the teachers and their roles in early education section.

5) Pay very close the the footnotes on Page 7, you’ll see, first hand, what those ‘comprehensive’ services include for families and their little ones. All under government parameters.

6) The justification for ‘federal education funds’ begins on Page 8. If our U.S. Secretary of Education and the entire federal government knew their U.S. Constitution, there is NO legal justification for federal anything in education!!
(*Notes: it is here you’ll begin to see the strings from the feds extended to the LEAs and SEAs (Local education agencies and State education agencies). As I shared with you almost immediately after ESSA was passed into Law, the powers of LEAs and SEAs would increase..and so would the micro-management. Here is where you get an idea of HOW that power is to carried out.)

7) Pages 9 and following show you how ESSA will use Title One funds in preschool. There are all kinds of tables and charts to see. However, it is the sentence stating the the Secretary of Education MUST disseminate performance based education standards to the LEAs that we MUST share!! (see below) Also, notice in the footnotes and you’ll find that 2007 Law.

Other Warning Signs:

Warriors, in this document are other warnings for us to share! Look for charter schools; Preschool Development Grants; subgroups of students considered ‘non traditional’ like homeless, Native American, privately educated, and more.

The Underlying Goals:

From Page 16, Alignment and collaboration between early childhood education programs and the K–12 system is a recurring theme throughout the ESEA. The law stresses greater coordination, at both the State and local levels, of programs that serve young children, and encourages a more seamless learning experience from preschool through the elementary grades. In order to accomplish these goals, the Department encourages States and LEAs to consider both the horizontal and vertical alignment of programs. Horizontal alignment is the consistency or connectedness of program and professional standards across programs and settings that serve a particular age or grade. Vertical alignment addresses the progressive development of standards from birth through third grade that provide a continuum for children’s knowledge and skills. Furthermore, it is important that both schools and early childhood programs coordinate their outreach efforts to families, so that they are aware of enrollment options and processes for their children. Community-based organizations can play an important role in this regard as they often have existing, trusting relationships with families.”

Warriors, I don’t need to share with you how dangerous this is. A ‘seamless transition’ is not only for early learners to elementary school, it’s ‘birth to grad school and/or career’!
We have TOO much evidence which points this out, to sweep it under a rug.

Bon Voyage! Hello, Grinders

Well, Warriors Against the Core, we’ve made it halfway through the week. While Congress hasn’t made too much noise about fed ed, the U.S. Dept. of Ed has.

Also busy at work? Those CCSS Machine members/groups bent on aligning our nation as quickly as they can.

However,  before we get to the latest moves, let’s be sure to say a not so cheerful ‘Bon Voyage’ to Rep. John Kline as the head chairman for the U.S. House of Representative’s Education and Workforce Committee.

During Kline’s rein, he helped ramp up fed ed, not decrease it. His position of power for education and workforce has plunged our nation further into deep and dark places which will take years, if not the rest of our lives, to correct….and, Kline’s walking away. Why are our students not given the same choice?!

His partnering with Sen. Lamar Alexander, as chairman of the Senate’s HELP Committee, has been one we Warriors do not need to soon forget. Between these ‘twins’, American education has seen a complete shift from academic to aligned; from freedom of choice to forcibly constricted. The only thing these 2 have filled our ‘looking glasses’ with is smoke.

While we know Kline’s leaving all this behind, who is stepping into his shoes? Rep. Joe Wilson from SC. Time will tell what we can expect from him. It is my personal hope that Mr. Wilson will be a true champ to our students, not another chump. Serving as co-chair will be Rep. Virginia Foxx from NC. She’s already shown her love for CTE (Career Tech Education) many times over. Will our voices be enough to melt her heart? Time will tell.

To all those about to be elected  as Congress members, the featured picture is an oath I hope you will take on behalf of the anti CCSS Warriors and those opposed to fed led ed.

Grinding down our kids Participant #2)

While folks are still scrambling mad about Dr. King’s ‘overreach’ in post-secondary education and his off-base remarks about home education, he’s been busier than a king in his court. Meeting with special education teachers, leaders of education related groups (aka CCSS Machine member groups), groups who influence teachers in Title II funding, and all the while telling American students how great education is, and hey, while you’re at it, come fill out a new and improved FASFA app. He even crowned a ‘family engagement ambassador’.

Congress has proven they have short-term memory problems. Why? It’s their confirmation which saddled our nation with Dr. King’s ‘service’.

Participant #2 grinds on….

Late Tuesday, 9/27, America was given a newly crowned “Family Engagement Ambassador”. But, wait, more will be crowned in the future. Here’s an excerpt from the 27’s Press Release, ” U.S. Department of Education’s first Family Ambassador, Frances Frost, to increase parent and family engagement in education policy. The Family Ambassador position is made possible by a grant from the Kellogg Foundation and an agreement with The Campagna Center of Alexandria, Virginia, to support family engagement in education.”

Remember when it was decreed by first Duncan, and then King, that the U.S. of Ed was to be your partner as a parent? This is the way in which it’s being softly sold. Below, it a picture:

The ‘Chiefs for Change’ meeting was all about Title II funds. What’s interesting is that King met with Chiefs in the afternoon, and led a teacher discussion in the evening…hmmm, can we say ‘agenda’?!

So what in ‘blue blazes’ did King say to the special education  folks at their convention?
The CCSS Machine member group, EdWeek, tells a subjective side,

Warriors Against the Core, recently I’ve seen the news about Dr. King’s remarks on home education. I’m not surprised. By now, he’s had plenty of time to read how much ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) will harm it. I know I have!wormy

As Far as Dr. King’s Thoughts on Home Education….

I’m not surprised at his arrogance. Why not? Because between the federal laws either all about education or those RELATED to education to the major groups in favor of King’s rule, home education has been a target the ENTIRE time. So when a major group supposedly protecting home schoolers across America feigns neutrality. That’s  a sell out, too.

Among King’s best backers is the NEA (National Education Association). NEA HATES homeschoolers! They have for years. NEA also was/is a huge supporter for the ESSA. It’s not hard to figure out that King’s ‘sudden’ concern about ‘Are the kids at home alright?’ Is hardly a move he’s making alone. It is, however, a huge warning.

CCSS/CTE impacts ALL educational choices, don’t be fooled!

ESSA has EVERY student in its sights, it’s been proven repeatedly. Especially from my blog. The SOLE reason I even began to fight this War Against the Core was due to the (then) evidence that national standards with global attitudes wasn’t a rumor for home educators and their students. This was back in 2009. Since then, what I’ve found has filled more space in my house than my family really likes.

The ‘burning’ question: WDED? Or, “What Did Education Do?”    Too stupid much!

Think of it as this way, my, anti CCSS Warriors. What ‘our’ U.S. Dept. of Education is doing since ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) has become law makes as much sense as a sponge wearing pants.

Before I get to why I’m comparing a federal agency to a fictional character, let me back track a few days to my article about Dr. King’s road trip. Since taking over the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s Secretary role, Dr. King has stunned us almost daily with one agenda program or mandate after another. So when ‘his’ road trip (which, by the way WE are paying for with our tax dollars), hit the press,  I hit it even harder.

From my “King’s Bandwagon, It’s A-comin'”, here are his words, ” “I hope in the end it’s that folks see that they have a stake in the success of other people’s children. The reality is you can’t build walls high enough to keep the fate of your kids separate from the fate of the kid down the block, down the street, down the road, in the next community over – all our kids’ fates are bound up together. And the work that we’re doing on supplement not supplant, the work that we’re doing on socioeconomic diversity in schools and promoting efforts to increase school diversity, all of that is about saying we are one community and we are ultimately stronger together.” ”

While Dr. King was in D.C., he appeared to be on what is a Southern term for well mannered, “minding his Ps and Qs”. But alas, take King out of D.C. and he seems to of ‘let it all hang out’. What in the world do I mean? Check out the latest ESSA related press release that ED is so proud of!

Almost 40 years ago, President Carter uttered some pretty similar sentiments. The “Goobernator” as he was referred to as I was growing up in GA, obviously missed the days in class where the Constitution was taught.
Otherwise, he’d of known that NO federal investment in education is legal! Investing/return on investment in education is 100% illegal! It was then and it is now!

Oh, Alexander’s quite the poser. Look at how long he’s been spewing rhetoric about ‘investing in education’. Look how long he waxed on every time ESSA was on the Congress’ schedule. Think about how long he gloated about those helping pass ESSA. They were NOT all legislators. There were scads of private groups sold out to the CCSS Machine!
Look how long he droned on at Dr. King’s confirmation. Oh, sure, he bellowed, he beat his fists, he’s since spread poppy-cock about ESSA and how ‘upset’ he is over King’s behavior!

This coming from the man who stated back in the 80s about ‘cradle to grave’ education alignment?! Alexander/Patrick’s latest sideshow? Do what you want with ESSA!

What ESSA Really Says About All That ‘Guidance’:

Increased public private partnerships for not only students, but entire communities. Not only will your student succeed, he or she will succeed because everyone in town had a hand in it. The reality? Non educators will have more opportunities to teach. More ideology you may not wish to have your child exposed to at this time will be ‘in their faces’. These P3s will also be rewarded by the LEAs and SEAs for ‘performing’. Want your child to advance a grade? It won’t be up to the teacher anymore, but the LEAs and P3s.
Below is just one example of the kind of guidance education is getting. It’s not in the name of ‘quality academic education’ BUT Career Tech Ed (adult CCSS) for workforce!

More research conducted, especially by the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s special teams, in the name of understanding people. The reality? Constant measuring, assessing, and reporting. Our students AND their families will become lab rats. Entire communities will be graded, measured, and assessed as well. Not performing well? Funding for certain programs will be on the chopping block. ESSA will have the assessments reach (quite literally) into your homes.

Those ‘returns on investment’? That’s the CCSS Machine’s new way of referring to our sons and daughters. They’ve been reduced to financial commodities, including ‘human capital’.


What Works, but Really is Dependent:

The splendorous Ed Press Release also boasted of the NEW “What Works”. Oh joy, (sarcasm intended).
First off it’s in the IES (Institutes for Educational Sciences). IES is behind the lab rats programs and assessments, including that in-home assessment for how well your family is hooked up for the internet.
Then, there’s the REL (Regional Education Labs). More lab rats.
ESSA has ‘region specific education’ language for a purpose.
ESSA also has lots and lots of language for career and college readiness; post-secondary readiness. The CCR (college/career readiness) Centers have our nation broken into regions, too. Coincidence? Hardly.
Then, there’s NCEE (National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance). More assessing, and measuring. More alignment to a global agenda. More ‘region specifics’. King’s Bandwagon..It’s A-comin’

Yes, Anti-Fed Ed Warriors, you saw it correctly…Dr. John King, U.S. Secretary of Education has waxed ‘collective’ when it comes to your students. We’ve known for a while his attitude towards parents, so it shouldn’t be a surprise when he comes up with yet another insulting comment.

Climbing on My Soapbox for a Moment:

‘Everybody’ did not help me birth or raise my children. I didn’t help you birth or raise yours. We CERTAINLY do NOT need the U.S. Dept. of Education’s help either!!
I do NOT desire to see anyone’s child climb on board King’s ‘we’re-all-in-this-together’ bandwagon. The popular mindset in D.C.:  we need as many folks as possible to raise/teach our kids. If this continues: we won’t have a bandwagon of student’s champions, but I fear, village idiots running amuck! It appears, however, that King is determined to get as many on his bandwagon as he can. What do I mean?! Let me climb off my soapbox and we’ll find out.

First Stop, NPR:

Dr. King was a guest on “All Things Considered”, Sept. 3, 2016. You can either listen to the archive or read the transcript of the interview. I am choosing the transcript. The less I have to hear a CCSS Machine disciple spew rhetoric, the better.

As I usually do, I’ll only point out the things that need our attention the most. For example, get a load of the bandwagon-mindset title NPR chose to circulate the interview.
‘King/status quo/unacceptable’ ?!!? Are you kidding me?! Has NO ONE at NPR read ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)?! Has NO ONE at NPR talked with Congress lately?! Sure, they obviously talked to King, but he’s a CCSS Machine disciple.

Those in the D.C. arm of the CCSS Machine wouldn’t know ‘quality education’ if it sat up and punched them!
King is acting out what the CCSS Machine wants..and it WANTS STATUS QUO citizens!

As far as the interview, here are the bandwagon-worthy statements NPR and/or King had the audacity to utter.
1) NPR: “Earlier this week, his agency proposed new rules that would govern how school districts distribute federal money meant to support the education of low-income kids. The rules are intended to ensure that these federal funds, known as Title I, can only be used in addition to state and local money and not instead of those funds.”

Excuse me, but does anyone see the bandwagon mindset? HIS agency?! Governing how Fed $$ is spent?!

What was included in King’s response? “And so this is really about requiring districts to direct resources to the kids who need them most, to ensure that students have access to pre-K, to advanced coursework, to school counselors.”

Hold the horses, Dr. King! The amount of federal overreach into education has gone far enough! We DO NOT need NOR want more ways for you to require, mandate, order, or govern for us. The ironic thing is that school counselors have been ‘encouraged’ to become Career Track/Pathway and/or College and Career Readiness sales personnel! Pre-K should be up to the parents, not the government. Not every student should go to Pre-K. They need those crucial parental bonding times. (*Note: be sure you read how upset he is over Civil Rights when it comes to AP (Advanced Placement) courses. When you factor in how un-advanced those courses have been reduced to, he should be incensed about that ‘status quo’ move.)

2) The sympathy card is played by both. Whhaaa…Grow up. Most of us have hard times and don’t go on to purposefully muck up millions of students, teachers, education leaders, and abuse taxpayers money to achieve the ‘muckness of it all’.

3) The charter school/school choice card is played. Again, did no one read ESSA? ‘School choice’ is a mirage waiting for us to fall into! Charters are being aligned now to take over public schools in some states as a way to ‘fix’ those low ‘whole school grades/report cards’. If you ever need a fine example of P3 (public private partnership) disasters, look at the CCSS Machine and what’s it’s done to education.

4) NPR: “… is part of the play here on these new regulations is that if affluent schools realize they might lose something, that that might create some urgency around making sure that less affluent kids get what they need – is that part of the logic of this?”

Oh NO they DIDN’T! There is absolutely, positively NOTHING playful about ESSA or Dr. King’s rein as the top person in charge of education at the federal level! As far as ‘logic’, leveling education to a one-size-serves-all is the entire agenda.

This is where King’s response you see in the tweet above comes into context. But..what ELSE did he utter? Here’s the entire set of comments. “I hope in the end it’s that folks see that they have a stake in the success of other people’s children. Second Stop, A Fed Ed Tour to Inspire:

Yes, the U.S. Dept. of Ed is, once again, polishing up  their CCSS/CTE (Common Core State Standards/Career Tech Education) indoctrination bandwagon using OUR taxpayer funds to convince (oh wait, sorry, it is to inspire us) all Americans how ‘opportunity’ awaits.

“Opportunity for All” is code for “Mediocrity for All”!

Bandwagon stops: D.C., VA, TN, AL, AR, MS, and LA

What opportunity/mediocrity will King help promote on this latest bandwagon show?
By the way, King is a puppet for the CCSS Machine in each of these.

a) Pell Grants (used in the HEA, Higher Education Act). Pell has been refigured to align with stipulations in WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) This includes “Second Chance Pell Grants”.
b) America’s College Promise (used in secondary and post-secondary education, White House created and federally funded) will be found in ESSA, WIOA, and HEA. Totally aligned to the CCSS Machine. Often sold as ‘free college’ or ‘free community college’.
c) ConnectED (used in Pre-K to career, public libraries, and more) If you missed by eye opening revelation of how ConnectEd is not only a White House created Initiative, then you need to see it. It’ll show you tons to help you connect the indoctrination dots.

d) Pre-K for All (mandated in ESSA and based on universal design for learning; will start our babies out in the ways of the CCSS Machine, not our ways.)
e) Promise Neighborhoods (codified in the ESSA, this White House created and led Initiative is now law. With it will come whole community/family alignment to the CCSS Machine in the guise of ‘student success’.)
f) Computer Science for All (another White House created and championed Initiative. The Fed Ed 2017 Budget Requests for this are astronomical. It is also woven into Item C, ConnectED. This is meant for every citizen’s alignment, not just students.
g) Teach to Lead (2017 Budget figures are ‘off the charts’ as well as every organization leading the teachers on how to lead students? CCSS Machine banner carrying member organizations.)

The rest of the items are woven into ESSA, WIOA, and or HEA collectively where needed. They include Race to the Top, college affordability, school turnarounds and anything connected. If they are in all 3 of the laws, they’ll be in one of them.

Please note how many of the above programs are from his office. Remember, this President doesn’t have an educational background, but rather legions of educrats advising him.

Warriors, I encourage you to go to one of the bandwagon tour stops. Protest the use of your tax money used against us. Protest the unjust activity of using ‘opportunity’ as a guise for ‘control’!

Success is Costly

Warriors, what price do you think the CCSS Machine has put on our nation? It has to be an astronomical amount. I mean to continue to bend over backwards to ensure ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) carries on the mission of the CCSS Machine, no expense is too little. No lie is too small. The agenda is globally encompassing.

Last evening, the US PIE (United States Parents Involved in Education), joined anti CCSS Warrior forces with PJNET (Patriot Journalists Network) and spread (via Twitter) the clear, concise, and TRUTHFUL messages about ESSA, specifically about the current Proposed Regulations and the vast amount of power Sec. Dr. King will use…at our expense.

Was the social media protest from last night successful? Yes! Volunteers from all over created special images depicting our dissent, distrust, and anger over ESSA, Sec. Dr. King, and the Proposed Regulations. The evening was SO successful that Warriors are STILL re-tweeting these truths! Why? Because each one of the protest tweets goes directly to the U.S. Dept. of Education! What is the cost of this success? Hours upon hours were poured into the Rally. That’s the great thing about grass-roots groups, their passions are deep, their dedication to truth is priceless. For all the big bucks the CCSS Machine is spending, it can’t match our Warrior spirits!

For number crunchers, just over 5, 700 tweets of protest were delivered to the U.S. Dept. of Ed on Monday evening. Today, there are about 940 protest tweets being sent.

We can do more! We need to flood the U.S. Dept. of Ed with truth!

We have from now until 8/1/16 to publicly dissent. The Twitter Action page put together by PJNET is still up and running. So use it, if you can. You can also create your own messages to send to the US Dept. of Ed. The tweets and images PJNET is using are the ones the volunteers in (or associated) with US PIE created just for this event.

IF you don’t use Twitter, use other social media to help spread a message of public outcry over these Regulations. The U.S. Dept. of Ed also has a link to the Federal Registry for public outcries to be sent to. The Federal Registry is a great body of evidence and testimony we should use (it is free) for our cause of ending the reign of educational abuse at the hands of the Feds in America!

I would suggest you skip the U.S. Dept. of Ed’s view of the Proposed Regulations. You know they will wax eloquent (and confusing) about just what these implementation rules for ESSA do. The Regulations span 192 pages.

It is important to note that Congress is on recess. As such, contacting them with your comments (which we should do) may not receive much feedback. However, what we need to point out is something Dr. Sandra Stotsky and I have in common. We have discussed it in a private email exchange.

Who (or what group) wrote the Proposed Regulations? Why does it matter? If the U.S. Dept. of Ed DIDN’T write them, they cannot and should not be used. They are illegal!

This, my Warriors, IS a matter your Congress members should address. To be the most effective with this, I truly believe we need to wait until Congress is back in session. An inquiry, at the very least, should be conducted. Does that mean we shouldn’t have conversations about this matter between now and then? Absolutely not! We should be prudent in our planning, if this is an avenue we Warriors need to take.

Affording CCSS Higher Ed Reform

For this Weekend News article, I want to help shine the light on the CCSS Machine in higher education..specifically in the name of college/post-secondary affordability. Who is involved? How does this connect to the CCSS Machine?

Above, you see a screen shot of the NC Senate Bill 873. Its short title is the ‘Access to Affordable College Ed Act’. Since you, my fellow  anti CCSS Warriors may NOT live in NC, what will your State have in the works for higher education reform where saving money is a selling point?

If you have heard any of my more recent interviews, you may recall I have shared that one of the ways in which we, the citizens of the USA, will be taken in by the CCSS Machine’s higher education grasp is through the affordable cost of post-secondary education. Look closely at the above screen shot and you will see the easily identifiable Common Core Machine ties. But trust me, there are MANY more not in black and white print.

However, before we get to a State level look, let’s review what the federal level of the CCSS Machine’s education overreach in the name of savings for post-secondary education.

The Feds in Post-Secondary Education:

In Feb. 2016, I shared with you the intent Dr. John King (U.S. Dept. of Ed’s Secretary) and the OPE (Office of Post-Secondary Education) in regards to CCSS/CTE/CCR (Common Core State Standards/Career Tech Education/College and Career Readiness). Here is a quote,
‘Once you are in the OPE website pages, you can find this declaration OPE works to strengthen the capacity of colleges and universities to promote reform, innovation and improvement in post-secondary education, promote and expand access to post-secondary education and increase college completion rates for America’s students, and broaden global competencies that drive the economic success and competitiveness of our Nation.” ‘

Also in Feb. 2016, I dug into the 2017 Fed Ed Budget Requests and found how college and other post-secondary education is to seem more affordable. Early College programs; where funding for HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and MSIs (Minority Serving Institutions) were to be impacted as well.

Right slam in the midst of all this is the connection to the SREB (Southern Regional Education Board). How? In the name of ‘research’! If you go back and look at the NC legislation in the works, see how SREB’s research is being relied upon as well as written into the Bill.

SREB, NC, and the Nation:

Past research has connected SREB to the CCSS Machine’s intent to use community colleges (post-secondary education) as a breeding grounds for CTE (Career Tech Education, the adult portion of CCSS) and more educational alignment to workforce based education. So, the burning question is, why is NC using a known CCSS Machine organization like SREB to create legislation? Take a look at this 2014 screen shot. I believe we can glean from it WHY NC relies on CCSS Machine backed research:

Others NOT included in the screen shot include Dr. June Atkinson (head of the NC Dept. of Public Instruction, as well as the President of the CCSSO, Council of Chief State School Officers, which own half the copyright to CC Standards!) and Dr. Scott Ralls, the (at that time) head of NC Community Colleges. Ralls has moved on to become President of a Community College in VA since this report.

Now, I know some of my NC anti CCSS Warriors may be shocked to see some of the names they see. My concern is how many of these people have we heard publicly state they were/are against CCSS, but are participating in embedding it in various ways into the State Laws? Do they KNOW the connections already and just turn a blind eye, or has the truth been kept from them?!

For those of you NOT in NC, look at your regional boards to see who is in state government AND serves on these types of boards!

The Clearinghouse Featured in the NC Legislation:

If you refer back to the top of the article and see the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, you may not know that this Center is ALSO a CCSS Machine member, but it is!! Furthermore, it is being used as MORE research and evidence to create legislation!

From the Clearinghouse’s ‘About Us’ portion of their website you can learn they have been data collecting/sharing since 1993, that they adhere to FERPA (remember it got overhauled to not be as protective as it once was?), and how they abide by the HEA (Higher Education Act). See:

So, How Does All of the Above Impact NC Legislation?

1) It further embeds the CCSS Machine, the federally led, privately funded education overreach into the State. Remember, since ALL the States are impacted by the U.S. Dept. of Education, WIOA, ESSA, and HEA, there is NO reason to think NC stands alone in this.

2) Another short answer is it is embedding education reform in the name of student debt reduction. Who will bear the brunt of the debt load? The taxpayers! Here in NC, a recent state-wide Bond was passed in the name of educational updates that will burden our taxpayers for at least 2 generations! 3) By overhauling how colleges, universities, and all other post-secondary educational institutions are to be held accountable and accredited, you will see a continued chipping away at local control and MORE federal overreach increase. (I have written about this issue as well and how the CCSS Machine is behind it. If you would like that research, let me know.)

4) In the body of the NC SB873 (Access to Affordable College Ed Act), you will see how by taking 4 year state-led colleges and turning them into community colleges it plays right into the hands of the SREB intent/CCSS Machine agenda to use community colleges as not so much educational facilities, but worker prep facilities.

A Couple of Loose Ends Worth Noting:

In the NC Legislative Bill screen shot, you may notice I underlined the name of David Kirp.
Who is he? ‘Senior Fellow in Residence, is the James D. Marver Professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California at Berkeley.’

I found this excerpt about him on the Learning Policy Institute’s website (that is where the Sr. Fellowship comes in). The Learning Policy Institute is funded by some pretty big CCSS Machine members (Ford Foundation, the Hewlett Foundation, etc.). The President and CEO of the Learning Policy Institute is none other than  Linda Darling-Hammond (a notoriously known CCSS Machine disciple)!

AIR was also underlined in the screenshot. American Institutes  of Research are also notoriously tied to the CCSS Machine. Many anti CCSS Warriors have shared the ties, the deceptive moves for data mining carried out in the name of ‘research’. One anti CCSS Warrior in particular has mountains of documented evidence on AIR. Her name is Deb Herbage (FL).  She has recently begun her own blog, DezignzbyDeb (it is on WordPress, like mine). As twisted as the CCSS paved road is in each of our States, I trust you can see why legislation, either State created or federally, is being used to continue the vicious cycle of grinding down our nation education-wise.
Please, look into your State’s governing bodies.
