America Betrayed

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’ve often seen movies or read books which pose the question ‘What if everything you knew was based off a lie?’ How many fact-based researched articles, magazines, and, books have we read which totally alter what we were taught in school?

For example, years ago, my mother gave me a book called “Mayflower”

The book was written by Nathaniel Philbrick. In the book, he details actual facts about the real story of America’s birth after the Mayflower Pilgrims landed. Whatever you learned about (or may have taught about the Mayflower BASED off what you’d learned and available resources) is absolutely NOT what took place.

philbrick

Warriors, this is simply one example. However, I think you can see the point. If what we’ve learned and passed on is not factual, what our students take with them certainly cannot be truthful either.

Are there other instances we’ve been lied to in education without knowing it? Yes!

How many of us remember being taught that Pres. Lincoln was the “Great Emancipator”?

greatlie

(Original image source, emphasis added is mine)
Interview link is here. Comments about Lincoln, Marx, and, Darwin are near the 13 minutes time stamp. Sources for the fact based research of David Zuniga, are here.

Warriors, why does this matter in 2019? Because what foundations were laid THEN continue to SHAPE our path as a nation NOW.

Warriors, think of just HOW toxic the foundation of lies about freedom/slavery, the economy, and most of all, racism has become simply BASED off one side of history. The ONE side the government has manipulated!

IF you think there’s no way the 37th and 38th Congressional Sessions were used, I urge you to take time and go back to look. I did. Did you know that the 37th Congress gave the President (Lincoln) the power to declare State residents as insurrectionists?

Did you know the 37th Congress also impacted education? In the Library of Congress link above, use ‘control F’ on your computer and type in ‘education’, you’ll see it mentioned 58 times. One mention even shows that Congress directed parents to choose schools. Warriors, Congress, NOT the States; as in the Constitution’s 10th Amendment!

Did you know the 38th Congressional Session impacted education; especially for the Native American tribes; a total of 68 times? It’s one of the first times, I’ve seen so many Native American tribes mentioned being paid at the ‘pleasure’ of the President or Congress. Federal money is taxpayer funded.

Taxpayer dollars paying for education at a national level! Unconstitutional! While Article 2 of the Constitution allows the President to appoint citizens to serve at his pleasure, there is nothing which states he can use Federal funds to be used ‘at his pleasure’. Congress, per Article 1, can pay debts, but I did not see any instance where a debt is the same as a ‘pleasure’.

Warriors, this predates the 20 US Code 1232a, which prohibited the federal government from overreaching into education. However, even without that federal law, the Constitution was violated.US fed statute

Trade and the economy were also set up to create what has become a‘command economy’ back in the 37th and 38th Congressional sessions.

Warriors, even the ‘market economy’ is squeezing out We the People. How? Private corporations!

commandmarket
(Original image source, emphasis added is mine)

Just think, the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) mandated MORE P3s get involved in education! How is a P3 based on a lie for America? Fascism! Public money is used WITHOUT the public’s input and by the private groups DIRECTING the agenda.

Add David’s Interview To Mine:

Warriors, just the day before David’s eye opening interview on Settings Brushfires, my interview highlighted the treason and propaganda Congress and the CCSS Machine (from a global level on down) which has become a foundation of lies for America.

I urge you to listen to David’s interview FIRST, then follow with mine. You should see a disturbing pattern we’ve been witness to our entire lives and didn’t realize it! Our foundation as a country has been in trouble since before you and I were born, certainly before our children and the current generation.

Related Resources:

1) Warriors, don’t forget the 100 year trail of education’s demise in America has been traced already. As I’ve shared before, Berit Kjos researched that and has a  very informative booklet with dates, names, organizations, and, more.

2) I’ve shown you, repeatedly, the blending of education and workforce throughout America’s history. Be sure to look at this article’s alignment from US ‘education’ to the UN (United Nations) model.

3) This researched article showed how MN was one of the very first States to get an indoctrination of workforce prep education from the UN.

4) Under President Truman, the UN’s Charter was signed and America became the first nation to bow down. That was 1945, Warriors. Chapters 8-11 of the Charter, specifically lay out Marxism for not only government control of the citizens, but of the economy.

5) UN ideology in American education mirrors every ‘ism’ EXCEPT Patriotism!

6) A huge foundation of lies for America is found in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math). Many Americans want to ignore this truth. I hope you choose to acknowledge it. It’s sole purpose it to be the last nail in the American nation’s coffin.

Closing:

Warriors, in September, I’ll be looking at more American betrayal in our education system. The 116th Senate Chamber of Congress has declared September 2019 as “Workforce Development Month”. What a betrayal to our children.

My State In The W_ _ _ d

Hello, Anti Fed Ed, Anti CCSS, and Anti Global Ed Warriors! If you noticed, I’ve added a ‘new’ type of Warrior to the list.

Since I began researching the shift in education (2009), I knew from one of Tom DeWeese’s articles that the end game for education in America was globally tied.

It was, in fact, this particular article and another one (by Cathy Duffy) about the push in America for national standards, which bothered me enough to begin researching!

As you know, since then, I’ve found plenty of evidence to support BOTH of these well respected citizens’ findings.  Since I began blogging (2014), the flood gates to support even more evidence to the global/national standards has come my way. I’ve done my best to share all that I can with you, so that, all of us are as informed as we can be in our War Vs. the Core.

You might be wondering about the title of this particular article. It’s short for “My State in the World”.

Warriors,  here are some documents I’ve found which point directly to the facts that education in your State hasn’t been American for some time now. Between our Governors and Public Depts of Education/Instruction, the UN/UNESCO shift has been in place since the mid 1980s! What follows is an in-depth, information packed article.

Take your time in reading and researching what’s in your State. It’s imperative!

The Files in Timeline Form:

(1985): So far, this is the oldest evidence I have found. It’s from MN.
The Report is one created by a global education task force that had been set up to prepare the way for a K-12th grade “Global Education Decade”  beginning in the 1999-2000 academic year. By starting this gigantic ball rolling in 1985, all the framwork would be in place by 1990. It is in this Report titled “Minnesota in the World”, that you’ll see the ’21st Century needs’ rhetoric popping up.

Let me be clear, you will NOT see the UN/UNESCO mentioned in this Report. However, the imprint is there. Who you will see as an influential force behind the shift for MN, is the (then) Dean of the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota (Harlan Cleveland). Cleveland wrote a book called “The Knowledge Executive”.
The “MN in the World” Report includes excerpts. Here’s a screen shot:

harlan

How was Cleveland tied to the UN? Google Books includes his biography. He led post WWII rebuilding efforts for the UN. Google’s bio also reveals Cleveland was a top leader in the Marshall Plan; that he was appointed by President Kennedy as an Assistant Secretary of State to the UN.

President Einsenhower tagged Cleveland as a NATO official. You will also see his ties to the Aspen Institute and more. (*Note: if you’d like to see how the modern day Aspen Institute and others are directing the States to the UN/global shift via ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), find it here.)

Not only will Cleveland be one to note in the MN Report, but also,  former U.S. Dept. of Education Secretary, T. H. Bell. Look below for his proclamation.

bell Mr. Bell was appointed by President Reagan as the Sec. of Education. He is the same Bell who headed up the Committee which produced the 1983 “Nation At Risk” report.
Bell also was the National Commission of Education (housed then in the U.S. Dept. of Interior) before the creation of the U.S. Dept. of Education.

We can ‘thank’ the 1983 version of “Nation At Risk” for the national assessments increase as well as the use of the word ‘accountability’ as a call for more federal dollars to flow into our States. Thanks to ESSA, the ‘accountability’ means more control from the U.S. Dept. of Education, NOT less.

(1987): Look below, the book emphasized is not available in its complete form, on-line.
(*Note the underlined participants.)

1987book

(Entering the 1990s):
From the UNESCO on-line library,  you’ll find documents dating back to the mid 1990s for the shift in technical/vocational education, which has been rebranded as “CTE” or ‘Career Tech Education’ here in the United States. I found the document where ‘lifelong learning’ is described as a bridge to the future. It’s from 1999.  Look below for a modern rendition of such a ‘bridge’:

hebridge
Then, factor in this OECD (Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development) document’s proclamation below:

lifelong

Warriors, this particular Report (as seen above) was published in 2007. But look at the original year OECD released ‘lifelong learning’..1996. As far as I have been able to find, no on-line version of the 1996 original book is available. You can access it via several university libraries, however. Here’s a description as to why it is vital we find it.

(1999):  NC’s educational shift to globalization appears to have taken place around this time.

(From 2000 to currently):
(2001):
UNESCO’s  5 year review of the 1996 ‘beginnings’ for ‘lifelong learning’.
OCED’s 5 year review of the 1996 ‘beginnings’.

(2006): NC’s Governor creates the first Center for 21st Century Skills in the nation.
See below:
NConeworld
To see Report One (2007) and Report Two (2007), click on each year. (To access my previous article on NC’s Global Readiness, click here.)

(2007):
A Western Michigan University look at ‘lifelong learning’ by Professor Emeritus Bosco.
Look below:
bosco
In the modern educational reform you’ll find Professor Bosco is an investigator for the CoSN (Consortium of School Networking), as well. CoSN is a big part of the CCSS Machine. I wrote about their part in “The Redefining Ready” Initiative in 2016.

(2009):
This NY based resource was originally begun in 2006 and updated to this form in 2009.
What’s interesting in this resource, is that it  pointed out that the US federal level of education looked first to New York and Massachussettes for educational policies. There are several other very interesting pieces of evidence in this resource as well. For example, each President’s involvement in education is included from 1945-2009.
NYresource

Observations from this resource:
What were the educational policies from NY and MA back in the 60s?  I have no clue as to why those policies were worthy enough to become nationally known or used. I do question how much of those policies helped shape the 1965 ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act). I do question why our federal government would choose the 2 States where we can find today, some of the biggest CCSS Machine member organizations/supporters.

I was able find that NY amended its educational law to reflect 21st Century learning and global education back in 1999. (*Note: scroll down to the text portion of the page.)

What about MA? I found a thesis where the history of MA’s shift to global education is laid out. The State specific information begins on page 48. You’ll find UNESCO’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), The Asia Society (the State of NC is knee-deep in a relationship with them), and so much more. However, look below at what the author found are the ‘must-haves’ for global education to survive:

maglobe

Warriors, have you seen these 5 elements where you live? If your State is seeing a shift in Teacher training for global education, start on page 36. It’s all laid out.

(2013): NC’s Global Education Task Force Report reveals STEM is one of the biggest tools to shift education, not for academics, but for economic purposes.

(2014):  Harvard University (the very same pro CCSS/CTE, Pearson Publishing partnership which created Pathways to Prosperity and thus helped create Career Pathways for education), pumped out this Report on global education.

Interestingly enough, some of the ‘expert solutions’ for aligning education? Increase apprenticeships, create more charter schools, and, cause a unity between government, education, and, teachers.
(*Note: one of the featured experts in the above Report, has an open page of resources on the MA Assoc. for School Superintendents for MA’s G21 (Global21) Project. All kinds of resources can be found there.)

(2015): Washington Times Reporter Bethany Blankley reveals the Qatar Foundation participation in the global shift in education. See the screen shot below:

More vital resources for your Anti Warrior’s information:
a) Berit Kjos’s timeline of Common Core throughout the world.
b) My 2016 international data mining article.
c) Charlotte Iserbyt’s “Exposing the Road to Global Ruin” You Tube series (begin with the short introduction video at the 1:38 time mark and follow the connected videos.)
d) Diana Anderson’s excellent compiled article on global education.

Closing:

Warriors, I am, by no means claiming to have the authoritative voice on the shift in global education. I believe Charlotte Iserbyt, Diana Anderson, and many others before me have that. However, when we use their roots and add the information as it surfaces, we help create a strong force of information that answers many questions.
We also can see many things which have been played down by our leaders, or, worse, left out completely. We also can use this information to form new ways in which to protect our students AND our nation.

I urge you, look in your State’s legislative archives for when your “State and the World Project” began. It may be under a slightly different name, but the signs ARE there.

CCSS/UNESCO Ideology, Anyone?

It’s a great day to be alive and fighting for the RIGHT kind of education for our students, don’t you think? I do! As an Anti Common Core Warrior, I have the privilege of working with some of the MOST patriotic, dynamic, and dedicated people I have ever met.

Warriors, just because the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is now law is NOT the time to back down from our fight for our students. It is a time to step up and fight for our nation!

What do I mean? We have seen time and time again, evidence which points out in great detail how anti-American our textbooks, on-line courses, and everything related is becoming. We also know, that the importance of being ‘globally competent’, or a global citizen is also gaining momentum via the Common Core Standards, the College and Career Readiness Standards, or any of the other names the alignment is hiding behind. How? The United Nations as well as the UNESCO overreach into American education (at all levels and available to every school choice).

The Project Veritas (PV) folks broke their 3rd anti CCSS video earlier today and has helped expose the anti-American ideology in our schools!! (See: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/01/21/exclusive-former-pearson-exec-reveals-anti-american-agenda-in-common-core-on-constitution-guns-christianity/)
We have seen countless other examples of this via social media well before this breaking news. However, their news is HUGE for the reasons below:
1) This 3rd video also verifies the twisted AP (Advanced Placement) U.S. History rewriting!
2) The importance of the PV undercover work is we now have people who are responsible being identified! We can now have the face and name of someone who has helped the CCSS Machine ruin our educational system. Why is this important? Testimony!!
3) It also absolutely confirms all the evidence we have seen in our students’ homework. I am so thrilled the undercover reports are surfacing. Please, share with everyone! You can visit Project Veritas’s website to gain access to the first 2 videos as well, those took on the textbook money making scheme. (See: http://www.projectveritas.com/)

All this said, we know that there is even more anti-American/global citizen out there in our society, most especially our schools. Here is what I found recently….

2003 Ideology?!:

What if I told you I found some global ideology from before CCSS’s supposed implementation date? Recently, as I was preparing for a very important presentation before a great group of concerned citizens, I got out my CCSS filled collection of textbooks (would you believe parents are still asking to see textbooks so they can know what is in them?). Among them is the Teacher guide, Student Textbook, and the complimenting Workbooks for a NC (North Carolina) specific Social Studies book titled “Horizons”. This particular set I have was published in 2003.  But that is not why I had the set. It was the publisher’s name! I knew, from all the years of research that Harcourt (as in Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt) was a sold out provider of Common Core Standards. (See PV’s first video revelation from one of their, now, ex-employees).

Most of us have assumed most textbooks prior to about 2008 were ‘safe’ (as far as indoctrinating materials tied to the CCSS). So, image my surprise when I stumbled upon what you see below:
IBPYP

Wait a minute, Lynne..You said ‘CCSS indoctrination’, the picture says ‘UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) ideology’! Are these related? Are they the same?  Let’s find out. In a set of points, I can point you to how the CCSS and the UNESCO ideology and the indoctrination have been with us longer than we first thought. (Please let me state I am certainly not the first one to discover the connections, nor will I be the last. It just seems fitting to show that as early as 2003, our states were laying foundations of alignment we didn’t see before us.)

*Notice the textbook uses “Citizenship”, “Common Good”, and “Democratic Values” as the main points. In an Constitutionally honoring education, our students would know that America is a Republic, NOT a democracy!

*Notice the name of the school in the feature box, ‘Farmington Woods Elementary’. It is a public school in the Wake County (NC) Public School System (one of the most CCSS friendly school systems in the entire state). See the website,  http://www.wcpss.net/farmingtonwoodses

farmingtonwoods

*Notice the IB-PYP (International Baccalaureate-Primary Years Programme (International English spelling)

*As an UNESCO created school, IB-PYP Programs are for students ages 3 to 12 years. As a globally minded school, any ideology will be UNESCO in nature, not American! There is a 3 step goal cycle the IB-PYP has. It is called the IB Global Action Cycle. ‘Reflect, Choose, and Act’.

*According the the IB Schools website, the IB-PYP prepares students, 3 years to 12 years, to become active, caring, and, lifelong learners. They are to respect themselves as well as others. That all sounds nice, right? The website goes on to explain what this respect means. (paraphrasing is mine) Being involved in the world. Of course the goal of all this ideology is to educate the ‘whole child’.

If your school wishes to become part of the UNESCO led IB schools, your school must be authorized to do so. The IB-PYP education framework is as follows: Knowledge, Concept, Skills, Attitudes, and Actions. The 5 rigor pillars of an international education. Want to learn more? See: http://www.ibo.org/programmes/primary-years-programme/curriculum/

If you want to see the UNESCO’s vision for 21st Century Learning:
http://en.unesco.org/themes/education-21st-century
If you want to see the American arm of these visions, see:
http://www.unesco.org/new/en/education/worldwide/education-regions/europe-and-north-america/

*Looking at the UNESCO’s arm which oversees curriculum development that impacts America, it goes back 90 years. Which explains the 2003 UNESCO/IB ideology in the textbook, “Horizons”. (See: http://www.ibe.unesco.org/en)

*That ‘lifelong learning’? Which we have heard the CCSS Machine grind out in so many ways? Not only will you find it in the UNESCO and IB ideology, but in the new ESSA law (Every Student Succeeds Act), too.  It will continue to be a banner buzz phrase in ‘College and Career Readiness’, too! How will this connect to the ESSA? Informal or non-formal learning via educational facilities,  learning settings and their education related services, groups,  and/or activities. (Think museums, libraries, etc.) See the UN’s research:

Answering the Question:
So are the CCSS indoctrination and the UNESCO ideology the same or related? It is my researched evidence which points to a simple, ‘yes’. Now, a more in-depth answer is also from evidence based research, in a multitude of ways they are related. (after all Gates signed a 2004 agreement with UNESCO to create a one world curriculum. See: Berit Kjos’s publication, Common Core: A Global Education) You might be interested in this previously published article of mine where you can find the global education declarations America is now embracing, thanks to some degree of the UN. https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/09/17/tech-thursday-global-day-for-education/

Another part of the answer, of course, is definitely revealed in the Project Veritas video released today. While I offer my evidence as a compliment to the Project, it is in no way to supercede their awesome work. I, like you, my Anti CCSS Warriors, am so excited to see what else the Veritas folks can capture on video/audio!

WYBI: “STEM to STEaM”, Ties to Common Core, Pt. 1

Maybe you've heard of STEM, but have you heard about STEM to STEaM?
Maybe you’ve heard of STEM, but have you heard about ‘STEM to STEaM’?

Some months ago, I shared with you that I’d dug into how STEM and Common Core are related. It’s not a popular subject. Why? Most folks don’t want to see how the two are directly hinged together. However, if we’re going to effectively FIGHT CCSS, we must know all the places it lurks!
Did you know the CCSS Machine has rolled out yet another ‘new’ portion of education reform? Yes, it’s called “STEM to STEaM”. In the first of multi day installments, I’ll share with you what else I’ve been able to uncover.

“STEM to STEaM”, What Does It Mean?:

We know STEM is short for “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math”. Those supportive of Common Core aren’t content (are they ever?) to leave education alone. No, it appears a constant barrage of ‘new’ standards is always upon us. So what does the “STEaM” portion of the above phrase mean? “Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math”. I’ve also shared with you, in the past, how the Arts have already sold out to Common Core via the National Arts Common Standards (see:
a) https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/02/15/rmt-ccss-hits-the-sour-notes/ and b) https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/04/12/rmt-national-humanity-common-core-style/ )

Enter CCSS: a Vehicle for Education Reform:

According to the publication I’ve referred to many times, “Common Core: A Global Education” by Berit Kjos, the roots of what we now know as CCSS began about 100 years ago. Then, in 2004, an agreement between Bill Gates and UNESCO was entered into. The purpose? Global curriculum. (See: http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/blog/?p=13825) Contrast those few facts with these following nuggets I found in the PCAST (President’s Council of Advisors for Science and Technology) Report from Sept. 2010.

1) What we know as STEM now, in their report, came alive in the 1980s and its purpose was to have aligned and benchmarked education standards. 2) To ensure this happened, as well as securing a way for the other agenda items PCAST had laid out, it was decided the BEST way to accomplish ALL of this was by inserting them into the CCSS as it was just getting off the ground. (remember, this report is from 2010, and the Common Core was just being unleashed in the States via Race to the Top funding.) To access the 2010 Report:
pcast-stemed-report

Enter STEM, the Driver of the Vehicle:

Using this same Report, let’s look at some of the exact words from page 12. These 5 items will lay out the agenda hiding behind what we’ve always had in education: science and math. We’ve also had engineering and technology. But, when you take these subjects and filter them through national standards, the ‘engine’ begins to grind down to a halt.

STEM-capable citizenry, a STEM-proficient workforce, and future STEM experts, the Nation must focus on two complementary goals: We must prepare all students, including girls and minorities who are underrepresented in these fields, to be proficient in STEM subjects. And we must inspire all students to learn STEM and, in the process, motivate many of them to pursue STEM careers.”

It is on this same page and the ones immediately following that you will see the Council’s plan unfold: use the Common Core Standards, train STEM certified teachers who will be the ones teaching STEM subjects, create more federal programs, initiatives that encompass the entire community (such as “Inspire”, “21st Century Community Learning Centers”, etc.)
Here’s an excerpt: “Stronger leadership, coherent strategy and greater coordination are essential to support innovation in K-12 STEM education. Toward this end, the Federal Government should (i) create new mechanisms, with substantially increased capacity, to provide leadership within each of the Department of Education and the National Science Foundation; (ii) establish a high-level partnership between these agencies; (iii) establish a standing Committee on STEM Education within the National Science and Technology Council responsible for creating a Federal STEM education strategy; and (iv) establish an independent Presidential Commission on STEM Education, in conjunction with the National Governors Association, to promote and monitor progress toward improving STEM education.” Funding for STEM (the federal government has earmarked billions of dollars)  and the number of programs connected (at least 220) is staggering. The public private partnerships participating, not only in the classrooms, but in the lesson planning, STEM related contests, community outreach programs, and including even our public libraries,  all are part and parcel of the federal plans for our students. Something else  you need to know about STEM: ‘The National Science Foundation is the only federal agency whose primary mission includes supporting education across all fields of science and engineering. As such, funding for STEM education at the NSF impacts not only, but also the entire federal STEM education effort.’ See the resource for the Funding: stemfund

The question I’m sure you have by now is ‘why’? Why is all this attention being paid to STEM? In a short and simple phrase, ‘the American greater good’. From the viewpoint of the Common Core, ‘the global economy’ and ‘being career and college ready’.

By participating in STEM programs( which are made available to every educational choice out there: public, private, charter, parochial, homeschool), we are in essence allowing an agenda that is not our own to be a part of our family, our school, our curriculum and lesson plans. STEM extends well beyond 12th grade and does, in fact, present itself in community colleges, proprietary post secondary schools, public and (some) private universities and colleges. In short, as we’ve seen with CCSS, if the school receives federal money, STEM is there.

Federal, top down control of any choice in education is not only wrong, it’s illegal. In case you missed it, not only is the Dept. of Education mixed in this, so is the NGA (National Governors Association)…half owner of the CCSS copyright.

Here's the CCSS pipeline. The NGA and the CCSSO have ensured our students are put through this. Notice the similarities to the STEM one above?

Coming in the next installment: the ‘gas’ for the vehicle (CCSS) that’s needed for the driver (STEM) to succeed…STEaM. It will be packed with ‘can’t miss’ information!

WYBI: Global Ed for All Through 2030?!

Don't look now, but the education global reform is growing bigger.
Don’t look now, but the education global reform is growing bigger.

For this “Would You Believe It?” Wednesday, the latest on how Common Core Standards, the CCSS Machine, and Global Education (aka “Education For All”) intersect.

To Begin With:  A 1970s Children’s Book about the United Nations:

Before we get to the 2030 ‘Roadmap”, you might find it helpful to step back to 1970 for a few minutes with me. I had discovered this particular resource when my local library was culling its shelves of old books. I love old books, but the best part was it was a book that was well before the era of CCSS and its aligned (more like, maligned) history. Since reading Berit Kjos’ booklet ” A “Common Core”: for a Global Community”, I knew connecting the dots would be super easy. How easy? Less than one hour. Between flipping the pages and noticing names to looking up each agency’s modern day website.   (If you’ve not read Mrs. Kjos’ booklet, I highly suggest it. It is powerful. She has all the resource information so you can use it for your fight in your state. Access the book: http://www.lighthousetrails.com, then search by either author name or book title. Mrs. Kjos shares with you the year, occasion and how Bill Gates entered the educational realm..thus laying the Common Core foundation. (*Note: this is a big clue to connecting CCSS Machine to UNESCO)

Some Visual Evidence from the Past:

Below, you’ll see 3 different split screen shots of the  book published back in 1970 by Scholastic (long before they sold out to Common Core). The first two will be highlighting the 13 different arms of the UN (United Nations) and how they tie back to Common Core today. First up, is the page that featured the World Bank. It’s been well documented to being connected to helping fund Common Core. However, look at the others visible.

Click to enlarge this picture. I've written in cursive how each is somehow tied to the Global Education movement, Common Core, or Agenda 21.

Then, there’s the picture below with MORE UN agencies and their involvement. Of the most noteworthy, the ‘Physical Education’ Common Core makeover was traced back the World Health Organization. a CCSS aligned Social Studies was discovered to have connections with the International Monetary Fund, but there’s more:

More arms and legs of the UN tied to education reform.

The final split screen shot I’ve provided you from my research is some of the text from the same children’s book. Pay attention to the only purpose the UN had for education THEN.

Some Related Information:
While there is certainly much proof I can share with you about the 13 UN related agencies and their ties to CCSS and more, I want to keep the ‘related resources’ brief, so we can delve into the ‘2030’ portion of the article.

Onward, to 2030:

From the just announced “World Education Forum”, the following excerpt: “The Declaration on Education 2030 to be agreed at the Forum will mobilize all countries and partners to implement the new agenda, and propose ways for its coordination, financing and monitoring – globally, regionally and nationally – to ensure equal educational opportunities for all.”  This is followed by,“The Forum brings together more than 130 government ministers, along with high-level government officials, Nobel Prize Laureates, heads of international and non-governmental organizations, academics, representatives of the private sector, researchers and other key stakeholders.” The press release goes on to share internationally agreed upon 6 EFA (“Education For All”) Goals. (*Note: the U.S. is an active participant in EFA; See the screen shots below.)

So, What are the 6 “EFA Goals”:

1) expanded early childhood education; 2) more girls involved; 3) more ‘equity skill- based’ education; 4) continuing education throughout adulthood; 5) gender issues; and 6) more measured outcome based education complete with life skills. If any of this sounds familiar there’s a reason why.
Mrs. Kjos states it best in her “A Common Core for a Global Community”, “UNESCO’s efforts in the 1960s and 1970s to influence U.S. school curriculum were unsuccessful. But now UNESCO has found a sugar daddy. On November 17, 2004 at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, UNESCO signed a 26-page “Cooperation Agreement” with Microsoft Corporation to develop a “master curriculum (Syllabus)” for teacher training in information technologies based on standards, guidelines, benchmarks, and assessment techniques. The Agreement states that . . . “UNESCO will explore how to facilitate content development. Following the signing of the Agreement, UNESCO Director General Koichiro Matsuura explained it in a speech. One of its goals, he said, is “fostering web-based communities of practice including content development and worldwide curricula reflecting UNESCO values. No doubt that is agreeable to Bill Gates because the Agreement states that “Microsoft supports the objectives of UNESCO as stipulated in UNESCO’s Constitution.” The goals crafted as a result of this ‘union’? “Environmental education will be incorporated in formal education; Any value or attitude held by anyone globally that stands independent to that of the United Nations’ definition of “sustainable education” must change; Current attitudes are unacceptable; Education will be belief-and-spirituality based as defined by the global collectiveEnvironmental education will be integrated into every subject, not just science.”

As far as from 2015 to 2030’s plan? Here’s a sample, “The post-2015 development agenda should be rights-based and adopt an equity perspective, while reflecting the expanded vision of access to quality education at all levels, with a focus on learning. UNESCO recommends to its Member States: “Ensure equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all by 2030” as a possible overarching education goal, aiming to achieve just, inclusive, peaceful and sustainable societies. This overarching goal is translated into specific global targets to which countries would commit and could be held accountable, and for which corresponding indicators will be developed.” To get the entire strategy report: unesco2015beyond
