Everyone Loves A Fair, Right?!

To All My Anti Fed Ed Warriors, out there, I ask you the question above..
Everyone loves to attend a fair, right? Well, not everyone, I suppose. There are plenty of folks who would rather stay home than ride the ferris wheel, eat cotton candy, and, see all the local exhibits.

However, Warriors, what about a different kind of fair? Say, an international one.

Is there such a thing? Would you attend? Who would organize it, what activities would be present? How does all this impact education reform in America?

I invite you to read on to find out the answers and so much more.

Meet BIE, Your Fair Guide:

BIE (Bureau for International Expositions) would be the organization in charge of the fair, or, as they call it ‘exposition’.
(*Note: This BIE is not to be confused with the US BIE, Bureau of Indian Education within the U.S. Dept. of the Interior)

According to the BIE’s website, an ‘expo’ (aka ‘fair’ for our conversation) is,  “a global event that aims at educating the public, sharing innovation, promoting progress and fostering cooperation. It is organized by a host country that invites other countries, companies, international organisations, the private sector, the civil society and the general public to participate.”

Everyone from young kids to senior citizens and from every walk of life are invited to these events.

The four main goals of these types of events are:
a) collectivism (although it referred to as ‘cooperation’); b) education (carried out through entertainment); c) showing off the host country; and, d) growing your nation’s economy. (Warriors, pause and ask yourselves this, “Where have I seen or heard this type of agenda before?”)

A quick and simple answer is the UN’s SDGs (United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals). In fact, the BIE, has a document expressly for tying in the SDGs to the Expositions. Below is a screen shot of the 2017 document’s front page.

So, What About Education Reform?

Warriors, we know several Anti Fed Ed researchers and activists have tied Dubai to the CCSS Machine. So, it isn’t surprising to find a 2013 BIE Speech (concerning the upcoming 2020 Dubai World Expo)  where education was brought up 5 times.

Of those 5 times, only a couple are evidence of the global reform being carried out today, in 2018.

Warriors, just think this was back in 2013; while the US wasn’t part of the BIE. Now that the US is once again a member nation, how much of this has already been done here in America? How much of this type of alignment is currently being carried out?
(*Note, the first question I posed here is more rhetorical. We have tons of evidence as to the global education push established in the past.)

Another Fair:

Warriors, as far as other type of fair, this past July (2017), the celebration fair outside the G20 (Group of 20) featured many celebrities pushing for global citizens, global agendas, and, using education as one of the tools by which to pull this off. Closing:

Warriors, these types of fairs, expos, and, celebrations will not stop. In fact, they may increase. How do we fight back? These are public domain meetings. Use that to your advantage!

We cannot win the War Vs the Core in the CCSS Machine’s territory, BUT, we CAN fight the Machine in OURS. If we ‘win’, super. If we don’t, the Machine will suffer greatly by the time we are through.

Our work as activists is FAR from over. So, let’s turn the tables. Instead of a ‘fair’ exhibiting hype, let’s exhibit truth.
Let’s have teachers and students give ‘fair’ speeches about how damaging the
globalization of their classrooms is.
Let’s have them display the CCSS curriculum and resources for all to see how unfair this education reform is for THEM.
Let’s trot out the data mining tools and show the unfair AND illegal data rape happening everyday in America for the ‘global good’.
Let’s expose the UN’s SDG takeovers in our cities and towns, too.

Warriors Against the Core! Warriors Opposed to Federally Led Education!!

Are you tired of all the agenda, reform, and propaganda which comes with  CCSS, or, as it is more politically correct, ‘College and Career Readiness’?!

It all reminds me of a bunch of  junkies. Especially when you factor in the amount of money spent to ‘snow’ our nation into believing Common Core and its Machine are the best thing for America since ‘dirt was invented’.

No, Warriors, quite the opposite is true: Common Core and ALL that goes with it have driven our nation straight to ‘pot’!

I call those involved ‘agenda driven junkies’. Question is who among our leaders from D.C. to downtown are strung out on the lies? The agenda junkies don’t only help string education along, they are taking their toxicity into your neighborhoods.

The U.S. Dept. of Education (with some pretty ‘addictive’ help) has published a Plan to turn our communities into ‘USERS’.

The simplest way to state it: Public private partnerships (P3s) were purposefully expanded in ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). If you factor in the other federal laws where the P3s are also embedded (WIOA, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and the HEA, Higher Education Act), you’ll start to see the ‘need for a fix’: businesses need workers to build the economy. What ‘cheaper’ way in which to train workers than by selling a ‘crack’ education like is was the best drug in town?!

                             Our students are the businesses’ ‘fix’.

U.S. Dept. Of Education’s Community User Plan:

I literally stumbled across this Aug. 2016 document just a few days ago. Of course, the agenda junkies at US Ed, came up with a ‘cool’ sounding name for the Plan, but the main point: how the P3s and/or CBAs will use our communities for workforce based education.


So, what’s the name of the Plan?

The Highs And Lows Of The Plan:
1) The relationships between education and local businesses (P3s) is still pretty new. So, in order to make the most of this, the Plan lays out how to use this ‘urban and development tool’ as the source for filling the need of educated workforce. (Oh, by the way, did you know ESSA involves the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development?!)

2)  CBAs (Community Benefit Agreements), according to the Plan are slightly different than P3s in the overreach in education. Both carry a steep price: our schools.

3) By combining CTE and CBAs, your town can be assured of a steady ‘supply’ of educated workers strung out on agenda, not academics; on feeding your local economy not feeding their minds. Here’s how the Plan worded it, “This paper will help state and local policymakers understand the potential use of CBAs to support the delivery of high-quality CTE services in schools and colleges serving their surrounding communities. CBAs can serve as a potent tool for delivering comprehensive CTE programs that benefit a broad population of resident youths and adults. This desired outcome can be accomplished only if those charged with negotiating CBAs understand the benefits of well-designed CTE programs—and the importance of engaging CTE educators from the secondary and postsecondary levels in planning discussions.”

4) The ‘common agenda’ of the Plan? A unified, stronger community.

5) The Plan cites 2 Case Studies where CBAs and early CTE efforts were combined.Of these it appears these date back to 2004 and extend to the current year.
One involves Home Depot, Inc. (*Note: Home Depot, Inc. was tied to the new Chair of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Ed/Workforce Committee, Rep. Virginia Foxx in my “Fox in a Hen House” article, published yesterday.)

6) A source cited in the Plan refers to a 2013 construction career book, The Construction Careers Handbook, published by the Partnership for Working Families (2013), and how those who want to push CTE can create labor/education conversations. The goal? To make CTE even more rigorous!

The RTI International, Inc. is the newer name for the Research Triangle Institute based right in Research Triangle (Raleigh-Durham, NC). On their website, the Career and Technical Education can be found on the “Education and Workforce Development” page.
The group shares that they are busy behind the scene of ‘education’ and ‘global’ workforce. They collect massive amounts of data. Here’s an excerpt, “Clients in the education space rely on us to track elements such as early childhood health, school readiness, academic performance, noncognitive skills development, high school graduation and the transition to college, financial aid and college completion, and workforce education.”

Warriors, whom among our leaders are the ‘agenda junkies’? Ask your Congress members have they read these NCiCTE documents? Especially in light of the upcoming CTE Bills in the House’s Ed/Workforce Committee and the Senate’s HELP Committee!
There are many, however, knowing our government is creating communities aligned to CTE, what about a national CTE Workforce Plan? It’s already in the works. The LADDER Act.

Weekend News: Those Ghouls in Our Schools

Much like ghouls, the CCSS Machine is consuming our schools.

On this last weekend in October 2015, many of us are using the fall festivals, Halloween parties to help raise awareness toward the damages CCSS, CTE, and all the other ‘alphabet soup’ acronyms we find the CCSS Machine (my name for the CCSSI, or the Common Core State Standards Initiative) where anything connected to CCSS was plotted, planned, and being executed.

We all know what damages we are seeing in our teachers, our students. We’ve seen how our principals, school counselors, school board members, and other educational staff members are being ‘consumed’ with CCSS Machine indoctrination. Some are succumbing to the Initiative, others are NOT. We’ve been horrified by our state leaders and federal representatives (who were elected to serve us) when they’ve also, given in to the ‘fodder of ruin’ and continued to create programs and legislation to continue the ‘cycle of pain’ in our schools.  We’ve also felt our anger at all this injustice rise. We’ve shouted, we’ve cursed, we’ve fought hard, and stood in the way  to protect others from this ‘tide of doom’. So, as one of my fellow anti CCSS warriors has asked (in a way to encourage others to press on)….WHY BOTHER?

 

We bother because no human being on the face of this planet should have to endure the mental and physical abuse we are seeing in our schools..regardless of preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, or post-secondary schools of all types. The CCSS Machine is grinding away in a plethora of ways. We bother because we know what is good, right, and true ISN’T possible in an illegally based education reform. We fight on, against the all consuming agenda behind the ghouls in our schools, because massive change for the future of our nation is upon us..and IT IS NOT to see our beloved country carry on as it has, but rather to shape it into some hollow image of globalism. We bother because, we, the people, were not consented, our tax dollars used against  our desires and wishes. We bother because the trust we’ve placed in those to lead us, speak for us, and act for us, have abused that sacred privilege without hesitation. We bother because those few brave souls who’ve spoken up, who’ve exercised courage deserve to have our companionship.

 

We have become activists, speakers, authors, and more importantly, we’ve become champions to those we seek to protect. That reason alone, my fellow anti CCSS Warriors, is paramount to wiping the CCSS ghoulish intent off the map. We find ourselves on the cusp of another new month. Depending on which state you live in, is to how many other months you’ve battled the CCSS Machine. However, the fact is we know that every single day ANY student is exposed to ANY part of the CCSS Machine is one day too many!

We’ve seen this tactic used repeatedly in D.C. Let’s let them know that the anti CCSS Warriors will not tolerate or support this dirty move any more!
