Global Models at Home

Warriors Against the Core, you know the fight we have is vast. We know it has taken much sacrifice. We also know the truth, while setting us free, has also caused many to disbelief what we have researched and shared. Some are SO much in disbelief they marginalize us as ‘crazy’ or, my personal favorite, “conspiracy theorists”.

Many have said homeschooling is ‘safe’. Warriors, not only have many others revealed that homeschooling, is in fact, in the cross-hairs of the CCSS Machine, but finding out how safe/not safe education is has been my main motivation since 2009.

I have lost count of how many articles, how much research, and how many hours writing it has taken to help keep you informed about just HOW home education in America is being set up to be entrenched in the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), the HEA (Higher Education Act), STEM Act (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), AAI (American Apprenticeship Initiative), and anything remotely connected to all these.

So, it is absolutely NO surprise to find the UN (United Nations) is invading American homeschooling as well.

The rest of the article will give you the details of HOW this is happening.

The AHMUNC (American Homeschool Model United Nations Club):

Thanks to one of my dedicated followers, Michelle K., she alerted me to what you see above.
Website: https://chapmodelun.wordpress.com/

The Club’s history: The American Homeschool Model United Nations Club (AHMUNC) was founded from a strong heritage in the Classical Homeschool Academy of Princeton Model United Nations Club (CHAPMUN). AHMUNC was founded to bring together homeschoolers from across the United States who are interested in global affairs.  The club: hosts the American Homeschool Model UN Conferencepromotes Model UN to homeschoolers through in-person and virtual events; holds its own crisis and historic simulations; and attends Model UN conferences.”

Interestingly enough, many of our home educated students leave their in-home classrooms headed for colleges, universities, and elsewhere. There are Model UN Clubs at the collegiate level, too.

Before the Club was CHAPMUN based, it was tied to the  “PMUNC (the Princeton Model United Nations Conference) and ILMUNC (the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference at University of Pennsylvania).”  In 2013,  The ‘North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) hosted by Georgetown’ was added.

To see more about the AHMUNC, visit: https://chapmodelun.wordpress.com/about-2/

The homeschool delegates from this Club are worth looking at their global aspirations. Why? I think you will see the agenda quickly when you read which countries they pretended to represent, the issues they were to solve, and more. See: https://chapmodelun.wordpress.com/delegates/

The Purposed Indoctrination Starts Very Quietly:

The purpose of being Model UN:Model United Nations is a fun and dynamic atmosphere for students to learn about issues from around the world. More than textbook learning, students learn the dynamics of debate and working together to form resolutions.” What you see below is a quote from the former leader of the UN (United Nations).

The Home Educated Begin to Sound Like Everyone Else in the CCSS/Global Machine:

If you are a delegate going to one of the Model UN Conferences, here is a detailed description of all you must prepare for. Everyone is to follow these procedures in preparing themselves. See: https://chapmodelun.wordpress.com/how-to-prepare-for-model-united-nations-conference/

You might also find it very interesting that the student leader of the PMUNC authored a Nov. 2015 paper as an assignment. Among the topics? The OAS (Organization of the American States) and Smart Cities.

While I haven’t looked into the OAS, I have shared with you in previous posts, how the “Smart Cities” are tied to the CCSS Machine.

If you do not know the roots of the OAS, here is what the author cited in her paper, The Organization of American States was formally established by the 1948 Charter of the Organization of American States in Bogota. However, this meeting of the 21 member states was, in fact, the Ninth International Conference of the American States. The first of these conferences hosted 18 nations and was held in Washington DC from October 1889 to April 1890. These periodic meetings were fundamentally based in the “continentalization” of the Monroe Doctrine, ensuring the collective protection of the Western hemisphere by creating obligations and encouraging cooperation among all states in the region.” (*Note: her footnotes reveal her sources as the OAS itself and the Britannica Encyclopedia.)

You will want to read the author’s entire assignment. It ties to the economy, diversity, education, the Chinese powerful influence in the world, and much more. See:

What do one of these model UN Club meetings look like? See the short video below:

The Upcoming 2016 Conference’s Keynote Speaker:

In the first screen shot above, you will see the Sept. 2016 Conference for the American Homeschool Model United Nations Club’s keynote speaker is to be Frances Lee of the World Federation of the United Nations Associations (WFUNA). Her bio is in the screen shot below:

leebioTo see the rest of the staff members of the (WFUNA) World Federation of the United Nations Associations:

What is the purpose of WFUNA? According to them, anything it takes to make the world a better place. See all their ways in which all this ‘betterment’ is taking place: http://www.wfuna.org/mission-and-vision

Be sure to see what partners WFUNA has. One of them is the notorious Hewlett Foundation (a big funder and supporter of the CCSS Machine in America.)

But Wait, There’s More Indoctrination To Be Learned!

What the heck is a UN4MUN Procedure?! In the WFUNA’s words, UN4MUN simulates the United Nations accurately and gives participants an experiential insight into how the UN really functions. This includes a goal of adoption of resolutions by consensus, meaning delegates have negotiated resolutions to a point where they feel it can pass without even needing a vote, which is important in real life to ensure implementation of the resolutions by UN Member States. The collaborative nature of the procedure to focus on every solution presented is in stark contrast to the simple majority voting goals of rival resolutions in traditional Model UNs.”

If you can’t wait until 2017 to find out more about UN4MUN, there is a Nov. 2016 Workshop description available: http://www.wimun.org/#!un4mun-workshop/zjlwq

Here is a 16 minute video promoting the use of Model UNs for the youth and what it will mean for them as future leaders. You really need to listen in. The speaker? A licensed psychologist.

Weekend News: ESSA’s ‘Untold’ Ties to HEA

How the Initiative behind all that Common Core encompasses SEES your students like this.
How the Initiative behind all that Common Core encompasses SEES your students like this.

Warriors Against the Common Core, as you know I’ve devoted much of my research to finding where the CCSS Machine (my name for the all encompassing agenda and parts of the Common Core State Standards Initiative) is lurking in post-secondary education, as well as the other non traditional educational choices of public K-12 schools. In my last article I promised you I would reveal MORE ties between the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act, formerly Every Child Achieves Act or S1177) and the HEA (Higher Education Act). The biggest connection which I shared with you in that article was WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014).

WHY this matters: As I have stated in previously posts and publicly, NO educational choice will escape the alignment embedded in WIOA, ESSA, or HEA! ANY student seeking a post-secondary education (regardless of public colleges, universities, community colleges, for-profit (proprietary) schools, on-line courses, some Christian colleges, or some private colleges/universities) the CCSS (Common Core State Standards), CTE (Career Tech Education), CP (Career Pathways), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math), STEM to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and, Math), CC (Career Clusters), and, AAI, (American Apprenticeship Initiative) will be there! These programs will not respect your natural talents or intelligences; they will not respect those with special needs. Too much misuse of Title 1, 4, and 9 funds; Perkins Funding; and other state funding formulas has already been committed to the joint union of the U.S. Departments of Education, Labor, and Health/Human Services to ignore the purposed alignment, yet, many have…especially the legislators (both on federal and state levels).  We need to also consider that since the labor aspect in woven in to include anyone seeking a job, those looking for employment will also be impacted!!

If you wonder how I’ve been able to connect the CCSS Machine to higher education, please refer to my previously published articles (please note, these are just 3 of the many like them; if you would like more proof, do not hesitate to let me know, I will be happy to provide you with as much evidence as you need):

1) This one gives you a detailed history of how the U.S. Dept. of Education AND the U.S. Dept. of Labor joined forces to align a workforce based education long ago and how the CCSS Machine fits into it:
2) This one is a detailed look from this past summer (complete with page numbers and groups helping align our schools for workforce, post-secondary CCSS/CTE):
3) How the HEA fits right into the UNESCO global agenda of aligned citizens/workers. This one also shows you how the ESSA will do the same:

So, Where’s the HEA in the ESSA?

For a short answer, ties to WIOA and the HEA appear at least 168 times! How did I get this number? Since the ESSA is well over 1,000 pages, I used a keyword search of the document. I used the educractic buzzwords I’ve come to learn from the documents are the key words for CCSS/CTE, Workforce alignment. Below are my results:

Keywords of ‘Perkins Funding’ (for CTE): a total of 8 references to page numbers 38, 123, 132, 516, 677, 939, 993, and 1026.

While I’m slowing working my way through each of these pages, I want you to know that I’ve been able to find out how (pages 32- 36) LEAs (local education agencies) and funding states receive will be used. Note how the funding is used, what groups are to receive it, which groups are targeted.

“(c) LOCAL USE OF FUNDS.—A local educational agency receiving an award under this section—

publicly report the results of direct student  service providers in improving relevant student out comes in a manner that is accessible to parents.”

Warriors, if ever there is a time to let D.C. know THIS kind of alignment, abuse of our tax dollars is NOT the best for education or America, it is NOW! The Senate has yet to vote on the ESSA!! Use this kind of proof to alert them we WILL not be conformed to the CCSS Machine’s Workforce agenda!

Remember, there will be more information, proof I will share with you from the pages of the ESSA (which I have renamed for our purposes to mean “Erroneous Socialist Streamlined Agenda”) in the coming days! Remember as well that Sen. Alexander and Sen. Murray (as well as other Congress members in D.C.) have made it clear that what was laid out in the ESSA would be completed in the HEA re-authorization!

Tech Thursday: Update on CCSS/CTE for Adults

CCSS,CTE treats any student, regardless of age, like this 'stackable chunk' of conformity.
CCSS,CTE treats any student, regardless of age, like this ‘stackable chunk’ of conformity.

Warriors Against Common Core: how many times have I shared with you that the CCSS Machine seeks to encompass EVERY student..including adults? Young adults, just graduating high school and moving on in life; mid-life adults and/or older adults desiring to go back to work and needing education…you get the idea.

No matter how many times it has been we MUST talk about it more often! Yes, most anti CCSS Warriors are looking out for those who aren’t adults yet..I totally agree. However, with all the evidence out there to shine the light on the adult versions of CCSS, why aren’t more adults standing up and saying ‘NO’!?!? Warriors, we MUST look out for the grinding down of ANY student when it comes to the CCSS Machine!! We MUST protect every citizen from, not only the educational demise of America, but the workforce caste system embedded in CCSS/CTE!

A ‘Refresh’ for Your Adult CCSS/CTE Information:

If you are new to the blog, you may of missed one of the first articles I wrote about CCSS/CTE after high school; you may not of seen the CCSS Adult Standards, either. If you’ve been around the blog for a while, you know that every age group is targeted when it comes to CCSS/CTE. You know every educational choice being targeted is a purposed and planned step. New or not, please share the links below so everyone is your anti CCSS circle of influence can be as informed, prepared, and ready to fight this awful takeover of education!
1)  For any student (regardless of where you graduated from) after high school:
2) For the special needs students after high school:
3) Perkins Funding (used in post-secondary education) reworked to support CCSS/CTE:
3a) Title 9 Funding is also used in post-secondary education & gets the CCSS/CTE makeover:
4) The National Career Path Network:
4a) The American Apprenticeship Initiative is CCSS/CTE/CP (Common Core State Standards, Career Tech Education, Career Pathways aligned and supported in the WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014)
5) Have you ‘met’ SHEEO (States Higher Education Executive Officers Organization)? If not, you need to see how cozy the organization is with the CCSSO (Council of Chief State School Officers):
6) Adult textbooks aligned with CCSS/CTE or CCR (college and career readiness):
6a) GED and more adult textbooks:

So, What’s New in the Adult CCSS Education Realm?

If you need to enlarge the above screen shot, simply click on it. Do you see? More ‘adult learners’! “new math”, and, ‘McGraw Hill Education‘. Good grief! But hold on, anti CCSS/CTE Warriors, there’s more!

From the news release pictured above, “For many people seeking to improve their career prospects, a high school diploma is the first stop on the pathway to prosperity. But an increasing number of adults and adolescents without a high school diploma are struggling to obtain one, according to the latest high school equivalency test data, which shows that fewer and fewer adults taking these assessments pass them. For these individuals, math is proving to be the biggest roadblock of all, with the math portion of most high school equivalency assessments having the lowest pass rate of all subjects.” Now, you may ask why I added emphasis on the ‘pathway to prosperity’. That, my warriors, is a pro CCSS/CTE buzz phrase (or educratic doublespeak) How do I know? Pearson Publishing and Harvard University teamed up to create the Pathways to Prosperity! See this article where you’ll also find ‘national job credentialing! https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/09/03/tech-thursday-just-say-no-to-nocc/

The news release also goes on to tell you of the lagging math scores by adults as based on the research by  ‘Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC)If you missed my article about the OECD and the ‘human capital’ ties to CCSS/CTE, https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/09/08/ftf-human-capital-the-new-name-for-citizens/

After the news release shares the USA’s ranking, it goes on to share with you how McG H has a new ‘mathematics program aligned with Career and College Readiness Standards for adult education.’

To see the entire news release:

What’s Inside the ‘New’ Math?

McG H Education, has a ‘great’ presentation of each of the new textbooks, both on-line and in print. Listen up for the ‘your country’, the ‘CCRS leveling system’ (College and Career Readiness Standards).

On e of the 'new math' programs for adults..complete with lots of hands on learning activities.
On e of the ‘new math’ programs for adults..complete with lots of hands on learning activities.

New and available this Winter:

To access the entire on-line preview of the above and even more CCSS ‘sneak peeks’,

To see more about all of this from the McG H Education website, be sure to click on the embedded link in the press release (see above) where you see the phrase ‘new EMPower’

You’ll probably also want to check out the TERC (Technical Education Research Center) and its part in this ‘new math’ for adults. A link to their website in at the bottom of the above news release. Briefly, TERC is a non-profit group. It’s devoted to not only post-secondary education and curriculum development, it’s into STEM as well (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math). Among the funding organizations are AIR (American Institutes of Research, The Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the U.S. Dept. of Education, and a host of other groups, schools, and consortia. Find them all:

*Note, I will be further investigating TERC in a future article, as many of their projects in research and development are geared for reforming education. With as many CCSS Machine members as TERC is either working with or being supported by, we must know more!

I hope you will share today’s post widely. I trust you will use the information at your local school board meetings or presentations to those in charge of higher education in your states. We simply MUST have more conversations of ALL the levels of CCSS/CTE infiltration!

Tech Thursdays: Anti CCSS Need to Know Items

We must listen to how CCSS has infiltrated ALL aspects of education, not just K-12!
We must listen to how CCSS has infiltrated ALL aspects of education, not just K-12!

It’s been an honor to be a trusted ‘go to’ person in this War Against the Core (as I call it). Especially when it’s come to the aspect that Common Core is extremely embedded in our post-secondary world. Why is it so important to repeat this? Because no matter where your pre-K through 12th grade education took place (ie: homeschools, private schools, parochial schools, charter schools, virtual schools, or public schools), post-secondary schools (meaning 2 year community colleges, public (and some private) 4 year colleges/universities, for profit trade schools, on-line courses, etc.) ARE aligned to Common Core via Career and Technical Education, Career Pathways, Career Clusters. This includes education majors.

So, while I’ve written about this extensively before 2015 and in 2015, I’m giving you the most important articles from 2015 which can be extremely helpful in helping educate others in the fight against Common Core. Listed in no particular order.

For Cradle to Career Information:

1) https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/02/19/tech-thursday-cradlecareer-conference/
Be sure to access the related articles posted at the bottom of the article. If you don’t know about Knowledge Works, you truly need to investigate them.
2) https://commoncorediva.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/tech-thursday-national-career-pathways-network/
While not beginning in the earliest of school years, the Career Pathway tracks are showing up as early as third grade in some states. This article gives you an inside informant’s view.

The Difference Between ‘Career Clusters’ and ‘Career Pathways’:

One of these is older than the other one, however, they’ve both got Common Core alignment as their conjoining factor. Why it’s important to know the difference isn’t so much what the students and teachers have to perform, it’s who is involved in ‘gifting America’ with all of this.

How Workforce is Embedded in HR5:

This article from March 2015 ties how the Workforce (as in WIOA: Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014) has been woven into the current HR5 legislation. The common tie to HR5 and HEA: Higher Education Act? Sen. Lamar Alexander. How does the HEA play into WIOA? An aligned education that’s seamless in transition.

Apprenticeships, CCSS Aligned:

Here’s a program being touted as a great alternative education choice yet is also under the CCSS/Career Pathways realm. Known as AAI, the American Apprenticeship Initiative, this Career Pathways baby is a gift from the U.S. Dept. of Labor to America. This also connects to the Workforce Act.

Attracting the Students Via Extra Curricular Clubs:

Back in Feb. 2015, I shared with you how our students are being sought after by the extra curricular clubs. The problem with this? Many are now going by CCSS/CTE guidelines. Would you know which ones? Do you know someone who needs to know? Share this one.

Be sure to let me know if you have found any of the recap articles to be helpful to your fight. I strive to do my best to serve you in being the best prepared CCSS warrior out there.
