Anti Fed Ed Warriors, before you know it, we’ll be in June 2019. Summer thoughts may replace school plans. Depending on where you live and where you or your children go to school.
Before we break out the bug spray and sun screen, let’s look at a few items which we should use as encouragement to soldier on in our War Vs the Core. After all, the CCSS Machine will not be taking a summer 2019 break.
A) ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is still in place and hasn’t been repealed. It’s current status is being felt more and more every day. It’s future is also currently being considering for amending via individual bills in the 116th Congress.
B) We’re in election hype time. From now until the election in November 2020, to elect our President, and other leaders, we’ll be pelted with every kind of educratic BS possible. (If you missed my entire series on the Presidential candidates and their education plans, go here.)
C) With the 2020 Elections and the 116th Congress, the last federal education law to be re-authorized, the HEA (Higher Education Act) will see passage unless we fight it tooth and nail. If you missed the House and Senate bills which will amend or extend HEA, gohere.
D), Lastly, Warriors, with all of the above, the march towards globalism in education is firmly in place. How? The US’s continued ties to the United Nations (UN) and their SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
Warriors, those things, by themselves, are plenty of mayhem to push upon us. However, there’s even more.
Warriors, here are some of the other things on the educratic radar.
You may have seen these in May, or you may not have seen them:
1) ACLJ has reported that parents have filed lawsuits to block Buddhist meditations in schools. While this isn’t new news, the American Center for Liberty and Justice has been tracking the indoctrination and UN-backed shift of ‘mindfulness’ in the classroom. (*Note: ACLJ is also a proponent for ‘school choice’, but that’s a whole issue unto itself.) Back in 2018, I wrote for thePatriot Institutehow yoga was being used in classrooms for UN’s SDGs as well as SEL (social emotional learning). Warriors, as you know, yoga is used for ‘mindfulness’.
2) Salt Lake City’s gearing up for the UN’s 68th Civil Society meeting.
So, what’s new in May 2019 for this big SDG palooza?
The Mayor of Salt Lake City has an aggressive schedule to make the City 100% ‘green’ by the 2030 Olympics. Why? Salt Lake City is supposed to host the Games. She said they’ll be the ‘all renewable’ games. Warriors, if you are not sure how the Olympics fit into the United Nations, or the SDGs, you can read my research on it.
(*Note: Salt Lake City is also a top Resilient City by the Rockefeller Foundation as well as a “Smart City” to align to the UN’s SDGs. ‘Resilient Cities’ are hubs for SEL, social emotional learning. SEL also aligns to the SDGs.)
3) Speaking of the SDGs, did you know that earlier this month (May 2019) a New York City meeting took place to update progress in America to adhering to the UN’s master plan?
4) SDGs breed Global Citizens, Warriors. If you’ve read my blog from the beginning, you’ve seen how it’s been laid out and connected to the CCSS Machine. If you’re somewhat new to the blog, you are welcome to search my archives. During May (2019), my email inbox was filled with Participate Learning’s Global Citizen in the classroom resources. (*Note: Participate Learning was formerly known as VIF International Education. They are also a “B” Corporation. “B” Corporations are part of the CCSS Machine. These types of corporations thrive on social justice and competency based skills.)
What will Johnny and Suzy see in the classroom? The 10 Competencies they must master to become global change agents (just as the SDGs demand).
In essence, the House of Representatives is trying to fill the holes in the budgets for the U.S. Depts. of Labor/Health and Human Services/ and Education. The ‘holes’ which President Trump’s proposed FY 2020 Budget put in place.
Among the ‘holes’ to be refilled:
a) Funds for PreK and early childhood education alignment
b) Funds for K-adult education
c) Funds for medicaid and social security (these are tied to education as well)
d) Funds for a nation wide SEL initiative
e) Funds to increase workforce based education
Warriors, as you can see, mayhem via educratic BS is a constant for us. However, these five items are proving that the CCSS Machine has ‘stepped up’ its ‘game’.
Will we reject these disruptions to our freedoms? I sure hope so!
This weekend we are putting the spotlight on another popular post, “Hazardous Education“. Diva shows us how politicians selling out and deceiving America with globalist programs through STEM/STEAM, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), Climate Change, and Smart Cities.
~ posted by MK for the Diva
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, in my last article I left you with the fact we’d look at the UN -led ‘climate change’ in education. As you know, the hype around ‘going green’ has reached hazardous levels of distortion. **This is my in-depth look/study guide on how America’s leaders have turned their patriotic duties into globalism gurus.**
Warriors, as you know, from my past research, and others, that STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, (the Arts), and, Math) are 100% United Nations’s created tools to distort our entire world. As was brought up during a recent interview about this, if humans mess around with nature too much, bad things ALWAYS happen.
Real science grounded in real truth has been thrown aside. It totally needs to be pointed out that REAL science knows much more than it being taught today. The quasi-science replacing truth has many ‘chicken littles’ are running around screaming “The Earth is melting, the Earth is melting!”
The ruse has worked so well, especially in education, that millions now believe the lies spun by ‘going green’. Why would so few devise a way to deceive so many about ‘climate change’? Money and power are 2 of the biggest reasons. I’m sure there are others, but like everything the CCSS Machine touches or is connected to, those are the top 2 reasons.
Within my last two articles, if you look closely enough, you saw the ‘climate change’ was included on purpose.
STEM/STEAM, climate change, going green all have 1 common denominator: SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals.
Does our current Administration support STEM/STEAM? Read for yourselves. If you want to see the UNESCO spin on ‘climate change’ in education, gohere. Their statement on STEM can be readhere.
***Adding insult to injury is our American government. It, too has sold our souls to the ‘climate change’ fallacy. ***
The politicians who believe they are scientists are just as bad as when they pretend to be educators.
D.C. has bent over backwards to use our taxpayer money to fund ‘climate change research’. Did you know that over the past 20 years, D.C. has spent $11.6 billion in 2014 (last available figure) on ‘climate change’?
Did you know that the American Re-investment funds (where Race to the Top also came from), spent $26.1 billion on ‘climate change’? (*Note: both figures are from the GAO (Government Accountability Office).
Warriors, below is a screen shot of the governmental chain for ‘climate control’ from the same page as the figures above.
The GAO also reports that it’s believed that in 2017, $13.2 billion was spread between 19 federal agencies on ‘climate change’.Marketwatch(2016) reported that each year the U.S. government spends $35 billion in all on the ‘climate change’. By 2050, they estimated that figure would be $350 billion.
Warriors, with the increased push from the UN, on forcing ‘climate change’, that figure could quickly exceed $35 billion a year.
From a July 2015“Climate Budget Tagging” Report, this excerpt, “Climate Budget Tagging (CBT) is a budget tool for monitoring and tracking of climate-related expenditures in the national budget system.”
So, if you want to track the US budget for ‘climate change’ or any of the activities associated with it, you know what to look for. (*Note: this document will not feature the US, but it is an important tool to see what defines our budget on this topic.)
Much of the ‘tagging’ can be traced back to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).
Warriors, from thislink, I was able to find US/UN ‘climate change’information dating back to the late 1990s.
In thislink, as recent as late 2018. So,regardless of our exitfrom the Paris Agreement, the federal government is still actively participating with the UN on this topic.
Warriors, here’s what’s currently up in D.C. for ‘Green Deal’ (which is a combination of ‘Smart Cities and ‘Climate Change’..all traceable to the UN’s SDGs):
Warriors, I encourage you to open the above visual in another window. “Going Green” or “Climate Change” is not upon us due to ONE political party, it’s BOTH.
Other Congressional “Climate Change” Legislation:
Warriors, in all I found a result of 44‘climate change’ bills and/or related. Some had other issues attached to them, so we know, back doors are being used to set us up. Below are the ‘biggest’ ones we should be protesting:
Sister Bills,HR 1689/S 763establish a “Climate Change Advisory Commission” for America. (Both versions would create federal obligations to fulfill for ‘climate change’.) Sister Bills,HR 1243/S 523 claim ‘climate change’ can protect our health care, as such it should be promoted. (Sen. Markey is the sponsor for the Senate version.) HR 1201, sets up a National ‘climate change’ security/strategy plan.
While those are bad enough, it’s S 477 I want to draw your attention to:
*Impact education at every age level in formal and non-formal educational settings, activities, and elsewhere.
*Authorizes NOAA to establish this educational programming at the cost of $20 million each year from FY 2020 to FY 2025. This Bill is based off the “Congressional” researched findings, as follows: a) overwhelming and undeniable evidence on human induced ‘climate change’. b) atmospheric carbon can be significantly reduced by renewable energy c) clear/concise ‘climate change’ information will help remove fear/encourage actions d) implement measures to reduce human impact e) create new technology and policies/programs to ensure maximum understanding of items a-d f) will equip more than 3 million student graduates each year from high school and college armed with attitudes/skills/knowledge about ‘climate change’ which will guide their actions throughout the remainder of their lives g) because of ‘f’, they can be prepared to make changes politely/support new technology/help create new technology and policy for the coming economic and social changes in America h) overwhelming evidence exists that the US citizens support this type of teaching i) a ‘green economy’ will improve social equity by reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities
Warriors, the main conduits for A-I are STEM/STEAM, CTE, Apprenticeships. You’ll find these in ESSA, HEA, and WIOA (to name the top 3 laws where each are embedded) If you wonder what the UN/UNICEFstance on‘climate change’ is for children, look here. This might give us an idea of what NOAA may incorporate, should S 477 become law.
S 477 is currently in the Senate’sCommitteefor Commerce, Science, and, Transportation.
Related: Smart Citiessupposedly will answer ‘climate change’, yeah, right. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and, Transportation (majority party)viewson the Trump Administration infrastructure plans. Minority views on5G and digital economies(which ‘green deals’ will support). Since ‘smart technology’ and 5G are somehow supposed to help us be ‘greener’, you’ll want to look into these Congressional caucuses:
Smart Cities Caucus (where 5G can be found). Currently IN, CA, OR, PA, MD, NY, MO, WY, TX, GA, IL, NM, FL, NJ, and NV are represented.
Other Caucuses which are connected: Public Works and Infrastructure, Urban, Future Climate, Grid Innovation, Infrastructure, Smart Construction, Climate Solutions, IP (Intellectual property), Urban Regional Studies, Rural, Housing, Transportation, Public Transportation, Open Source, Co-operative business, Cybersecurity, Global investments, Digital trade, Technology accountability, and, AI (Artificial Intelligence).(*Note: Heartland Inst. featured a2018 pdf on the Climate Solutions Caucus showing the conservatives union with the very liberal roots of ‘climate change’ traceable to Al Gore.)
Current 116th Bills which relate to 5G/Green/Climate: HR 1453(in Committee) co-ordinates a unity between the EU (European Union) and the US for global energy security. HR 267 The Appropriations for U.S. Transportation, HUD, and others. Education is embedded 11 times, mainly using higher education as test facilities for new technology/green or climate efforts. Passed the House and is in the Senate. HR 21(Passed House, in Senate) A Consolidated Appropriations Bills, education is embedded 120 times and green infrastructure, 8 times. HR 1039(in Committee), streamlines currency and financial reporting information. HR 1079/S 435(HR version has passed House, in Senate; Senate Bill has the same name and is similar) This Bill streamlines all kinds of consent forms for Americans. HR 292Streamlines rural areas for broadband. HR 1328Expands federal government with new office for Internet Connectivity and related business. HR 762Streamlines US schools (all levels) for energy efficiency (passed House, in Senate) S 253Same name as HR 762, but retrofits schools.
HR 865/ S 266 (The Senate Bill is identical) Rebuilds US public schools, ‘greens’ them up, Section 303. HR 989/ S 431PARTNERS Act (very similar Bills; regional specific apprenticeships for industry-demanded trades)
What Does It All Mean?
Warriors, all this means is one thing: all of us are to bemolded (or re-skilled)into how to be ‘green people’. If we look at this through education/economy and America, it’s more like “STEM” people, which is exactly what the plan has been since early 2009 or 2010.
Warriors, I am sure by now you have heard the news the SAT will have a new “adversity score”. This doesn’t come as a surprise the CCCS machine is hard at work.
The last of Diva’s top 5 posts for this year is “Good Job Vs. Bad Job” gives us an overview of how some states are pushing the workforce training and lifelong learning UN plan. If you haven’t seen this post, it is a MUST SEE !

Good Job vs Bad Job
This in-depth article covers many States, but focuses on the same topic. Use it as a study guide.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, recently, I shared with you the news about the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and it’s embedding of WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), and, the HEA (Higher Education Act).
Not new news, I know, but, what is new was how theWIOA Waiversare being used behind our backs to force MORE workforce ESSA mandated pieces upon us.
Regardless of our age, our ‘school choice’.
Think of it this way,
Let me pause here to say that I know we need to work, but so does the CCSS Machine. We know we used to have freedom to choose where we worked and how much education it took along the way, the CCSS Machine has changed the ‘game’ so that where you work and how long you are in school are locked in for life.
For the remainder of this article, I’ll share resources how this game changing move not only aligns with the United Nations’ plan for globally trained, barely educated citizens. It is also funneled into the US BY the UN and ‘do-good’ groups and/or powerful people who either know what they are doing OR are not aware of what they are supporting is harmful.
From NC, A ‘New’ Education Plan:
Warriors, just announced by the State Superintendent, Mark Johnson, NC will be the best place to learn/earn by 2030.
Before I tell you more of the #NC2030 Plan, inAugust 2018, I exposed the depth of Johnson’s lies about ending high stakes testing. It’s a shuck and jive move, for certain! Warriors, it plays right into this ‘new’ plan for workforce based aligned education. How? Here’s more from #NC2030:
From the announcement: “4-year-olds engaged in high-quality kindergarten readiness programs”
Also, from the Plan: “Students who, after graduation, are on track to their chosen, fulfilling career”
To see how Skills USA is a part of the CCSS Machine, that’s here. (Look for letter “E”)
To see NC’s obsession with CTE (Career Tech Education), look here. To see how cruel this is for our students, read this.
To see how the NC Teachers will fare in the NC 2030 Plan, read the rest of the Plan, here. Then contrast that with the supposedlyNC created teacher pay tier plan. Teachers, I posed some hard-hitting questions which involve personalized learning as a front for career tracking. ICYMI, I’ve included it.
To Iowa, We Go:
Warriors, do you remember the articles I’ve written about WorkKeys? That’s one of the pigeon-holing career assessments our students are being forced into taking. If they aren’t taking it in K-12th, they’ll find it in community colleges and job placement sites across the nation. Why I bring this up is toremind youof the chilling point made by one of the small business owners from GA used in the ‘sales pitch’. Basically his words were ‘no WorkKeys, no certificate; no certificate, no job; No job, not sorry.’ (Entirearticle which can be applied to all States) Arelated articlewill also tie to how the certificates are to rack and sort our students.
Warriors, add to that sales pitch, this from Iowa: A Senate bill which would punish you if you falsify your job application. While lying certainly isn’t acceptable, the one instance cited. Note, the man didn’t say he lied, he admitted he was underqualified. See below:
(Full article) Warriors, in the article introducing the Iowa Senate File 99, other State legislators chimed in on curtailing underqualified citizens. Yes, the issue seems to be catching those abusing the system, but the overall message is also not to be missed, especially when it involves Workforce Development Boards and unions. Why? These are all tied to the CCSS Machine’sone-way-to-learn-for-one-way-to-earn. Data privacy was also listed as a huge concern. It should be, especially when Workforce and Education are united in the career pigeon-holing.
***Warriors, read the Senate File 99, the tone set is one of State/employer as a lording ogre and the worker as a minion. This is definitely a pattern we need to watch elsewhere. The global workforce has a similar tone.***
Also mentioned in the 2nd article (screenshot above) is a non-profit group calledProject Iowa (PI).PI offers free career training for the underemployed and unemployed to bridge the gap so they may experience a life transformation. Helping fund PI is the United Way. United Way is in on the CCSS Machine’s global workforce train via the United Nations.
Another group, theAMOS (A Mid-Iowa Organizing Strategy) Initiative, helped get PI up and running. AMOS is largely a faith-based group, with one notable exception, the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Ilness). NAMI is also tied to the CCSS Machine in SEL (Social Emotional Learning). SEL is a big tool in the career pigeon-holing seen in education. AMOS is an affiliate of Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF).IAFhas roots in TX as a community organized group seeking to influence infrastructure. In the shift fromacademics to career based/skill based, where does infrastructure show up the most? Technology and data mining. Infrastructure in education also means policy making. IAF is tied toAlliance Schools. The chief goal for Alliance Schools? Raised standardized test scores. If you’d like to see more information of how the TX based IAF has claimed victories in workforce alignment, go here.
If you’d like to see Iowa’s career shortage grants(KIBBE), read here. Look at the multi-million dollar price tag. (Yes, throwing money after agenda always is a success..not!) To see Sen. Carlin’s campaign (large union base) finances, lookhere. To see his stance on education, look below:
On To D.C.:
Warriors, did you know that there’s a House of Representatives Bill (HR 860) which expands Social Security? One sponsor and well over 200 co-sponsors. How this ties into this article: part of the expansion will go to ‘lifelong’ low-income workers. If you study the global UN/CCSS Machine workforce language, ‘lifelong’ is also used in defining education. Who would this impact? Look below at this example from NC. The ‘low skill’ workers is where you should focus.:
Warriors, you know, I have zero respect for our current Sec. of Education. Not that I respected any of the former leaders, but DeVos has proven repeatedly to undermine education (bad) all the while smiling and pointing to her donations (good). DeVos has proven she’s 100% on-board with the globalism shift from academics to workforce. She’s proven to be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) disciple. Which is a huge portion of the workforce/career based education America’s drowning in. Her latest ‘do-good’ moment was reported byPolitico. (emphasis added is mine)
Warriors, if you’re curious how Mrs. DeVos ties to the SEL, here’s one where it involves the development of ‘moral’ assessments, and, one where her family literally profits off our student’s data rape.
If you’d like to see the KennedyInitiative, go here. Pay attention to the other international groups funding this for American students. To see the Children’s Scholarship Fund, go here.
UNAI, Humpty Dumpty, And You: If you’d like to learn more about the (HDI) Humpty Dumpty Institute (you may be surprised to know that the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” group fully supports HDI.), visit here.
Not only does HDI tie to our U.S. Congress, they are in 100% unity with the United Nations as an UNAI (United Nations Academic Impact) group. (*Note: Don’t forget the Thurman Marshall College Fund is also a key part of the HDI, as well as tied to the UN.)
What does UNAI do in America? Each group or school identified as a UNAI has a special project assigned to them annually. The projects? To implement the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) of the UNESCO/UN creation. UNAI schools/groups are located all over the world, but the US has a huge concentration of UNAI ‘hubs’.
Warriors, you’ll be interested to know that some celebrities are spokespeople for HDI. HDI also has strong ties to the LDS (Latter Day Saints) faith. To see the Gates Foundation grants to the Thurman Good College Fund, go here. To see the US federal agencies, corporations, and faith based groups HDI is in partnership with, visit here.
If you’d like to learn more about the UNAI groups, I’ve created a special Google Drive document for your use. (*Note: If you cannot access the Drive document, please let me know. I’ll be happy to send it to you. I’ll need a working email address to send it to.)
Share as you need to. It’s important to note that UNAI schools are an elite group and different from the UN/US Partner Schools.
Don’t get me wrong, ANY UN group infiltrating our schools is bad, it’s just the UNAI is even worse.
Where Love Is Indoctrination:
Warriors, if you are not familiar with who Jesse Lewis was, he was a victim of the Sandy Hook school shootings. Regardless of what you believe about the shootings, the bare facts are the CCSS Machine has used it as a back door to attack our 2nd Amendment; has skewed lesson plans and curriculum to promote a global agenda that tolerance will stop violence altogether, and more. Here on my blog, and elsewhere, many Warriors have proven these facts.
By the way, February is also consider CTE Month by our Vice President and many other groups. CTE ties to SEL, as well.
The Future For FL:
Gov. DeSantis has made plenty of news about “ending Common Core”, yet in the same breaths he plans to expand CTE and CCR (College/Career Readiness). The clues are all laid out in the language of his video captured speeches as well as the Executive Order issued.
Warriors, did you know DeSantis has had financial backing from the Koch Brothers as well as the DeVos family? With ties like this how can FL escape Common Core?
Recently (2/20/19) the Governor was a guest at the Economic Club of FL. Look at what DeSantis spoke of and how the Club is in full support:
To see how FL is really doing in CTE alignment, this 2013 document showed FL had added to the existing CTE Career Clusters (usually 16, but FL added ‘energy’ as the 17th) as well as had 3 different CTE standards streams and funding streams.
If anything DeSanits’s plan looks to streamline these 3 into one giant of an alignment system! (*Somewhat related, the fast-tracking career pathsin high school for FL.) Meanwhile the State Education Committee is ramping up the voucher plans to expand the fictitious ‘school choice’.
Contrast all this with the 2018 Review. Other concerns about FL and any other State thinking it can end Common Core, are addressed here. (*Note: if you cannot access this Google Drive document, let me know.)
Then, There’s Georgia:
Warriors, for those of you in GA or who have family in GA, I’d say keep your eyes out on the new Governor’s CCSS Machine agenda there. He fully supports tax credits and vouchers (a pay-as-you-go, data mining disaster the agenda fully ‘hungers’ for), his ESSA mandated programs (increased literacy, especially for the littlest learners; increase mental health programs in schools) are very troubling. The price tag for Gov. Kemp’s mental health in education is set at $8.4 million.
Remember when Secretary DeVos confirmed private and home-schools receiving money from government choice programs WILL be required to follow federal regulations?
Again Warriors please share this popular and important Diva post, “Waving Choice Goodbye“, which reveals the real goal of school choice. Diva reminds us the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) reads … “ALL education must be aligned to post-secondary readiness as laid out in WIOA.” This removes ANY educational choice. in that it must be taught by credentialed teachers / software, curriculum must be aligned and require assessments for accountability.

Waving Choice Goodbye
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, you’ve heard me tell you time and time again that ‘school choice’ is a fallacy. The culprit is the CCSS Machine.
The tools used to ruin ‘school choice’ are WIOA, ESSA, HEA, and other top-down federal laws. (WIOA is Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, 2014; ESSA is Every Student Succeeds Act, 2015; and, HEA is the Higher Education Act, 2008 and up for re-authorization very soon).
Warriors, the fact of the matter is ‘school choice’ is really more about “personal choice”.
However, ESSA killed that choice with it’s mandate that ALL education be aligned to the post-secondary readiness standards of WIOA.
So, in essence, at least in education; that simple line from the 1965 Dr. Zhivago movie (fiction) has become our reality:
“All personal choice is dead.”
As we know, much of the CCSS Machine’s design uses education as the ‘change agent’ to alter our lives.
We know the control is meant for cradle to grave and encompasses where you’ll work. That’s why students of all ages are being pumped through the CCSS’s College and Career Readinessor the CCSS’s Career Tech Educationor the (United Nation’s) UN’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
It’s to force our students (and eventually the rest of us) into a controlled nanny-state. (Also very present in the fictional account of Dr. Zhivago)
You may wonder why I included the UN in connection to the CCSS Machine. First, Berit Kjosand many others (myself included) have traced the Common Core State Standards back to the UN, so the UN is part of the Machine.
However, STEM is the UN’s special change agent to usher in the Agenda 2030. How?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of the A2030 and SDGs, where we live and where we work will be determined for us, largely through education and what career track we’ve been trained for (or re-trained for).
This is pure confinement for us as Americans; not the free people we were Constitutionally guaranteed, Warriors.
Contrast it to any movie like Dr. Zhivago and you’ll get a fair idea of how awful this direction is for Americans.
Since ESSA mandated WIOA in PreK through 12 grades (as well as tie it to the HEA for colleges and trade schools), how is the government helping all this come to fruition?
What Are Waivers? How Do They Kill Choice?
If you’re not sure what a waiver is in the realm of federal education, it was supposed to be a tool given to States and school districts to offer flexibility in how federal funds could be used to offer ‘quality’ education.
Sounds great, right? Especially with the CCSS Machine hype and lies about States being able to get their right to control education BACK when ESSA was made into law.
ESSA, by embedding WIOA, embedded funds for workforce. Likewise the WIOA waivers will embed education, not for academics, but competency based education (CBE). CBE is CCSS, too.
CBE is woven into ESSA, WIOA, and the HEA…on purpose. It’s the shift from reading, writing, and arithmetic to poorly skilled labor force.
Warriors, think back to those Race to the Top Education Waivers or the ESSA Flexibility Waivers? Have you really seen any improvement in education? Have you really seen any removal of federal control or a distinct freedom your district or State didn’t have before?
There’s been none, because the Waivers are a deceptive move for MORE federal control to implant MORE shifting of education away from what we’ve known to what the global workforce needs: laborers. Our U.S. Constitution puts it another way, ‘indentured servants’. (Which by the way was also prohibited later on in the Constitution!)
According to the U.S. Dept. of Labor, States were given a sense of freedom in how their Waivers were used, as long as they were used to improve job seeking systems for better employer ‘outcomes’. Warriors, hang on before we go any further.
Let’s review a few flies in this ointment.
a) Since ESSA has embedded WIOA, the ‘job seeking’ is happening as young as 2nd grade in some States. The ‘job seeking’ is also found outside traditional public schools via dual enrollment, fast tracking career systems like apprenticeships, internships, early career or college schools, etc. ALL this impacts every ‘school choice’, including homeschools. **It’s not so much the student seeking a job, as it is the job is seeking the student, before the student is capable!
b) As far as ’employer outcomes’, since WIOA, HEA, and, ESSA embedded P3s (public private partnerships) we’ve seen an insane increase in how much the corporate employer ‘needs’ have ruined academics. We’ve seen businesses with zero educational training usurp teachers for their purposes. **States are allowing this to happen every day they receive ANY type of federal funding or P3 funding!
c) The WQDI (Workforce Quality Data Initiative) is ‘married’ to the SLDS (Student Longitudinal Data System) FOR one purpose: aligned education for workforce needs. Regardless of what school (even homeschoolers) are in this system already or become a part of the system as soon as they participate in any of ‘a’ (above). **Being a free nation, this type of data tracking is not only illegal, it’s ‘data rape’!
Warriors, as far as the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s information, WIOA Waivers aren’t so much needed now, as they were codified when WIOA was passed into law (2014). However, much like the State Plans for ESSA which needed to be submitted to the Sec. of Education (DeVos), the State Plans for WIOA are still in use (2019). These Plans are called WIOA Unified or Combined State Plans and must be submitted to the Sec. of Labor. **By submission of those Plans, States gave full access to the federal government as far as data.
These State Plans? We, the People, can access them on the U.S. Dept. of Education’s website! Look below at the way I found this out:
I thought by clicking a phrase on the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s website, I’d be taken to another Labor page:
According to the U.S. Dept. of Education’s page I found this on, almost every State has a plan which has been approved by the feds. No State’s able to make its own plan for its own people or by those taxpayers. It’s all been run through the globally led workforce needs based system of control. The only States without an approved WIOA State Plan are TN, MI, MA, NE, and VA. The only U.S. Territory without one is the Virgin Islands.
I urge you to look at your State Plan. If you have none, let’s use NC’s as an example of what you’ll find that kills personal choice in education.
a) The NC Plan is 399 pages long and is dated FY 2018. NC elected to go with a “Unified” Plan which means all the alignment will come from every possible agency, program, and, angle. Those most targeted? “Under-served populations” including youth.
b) Page 3 shows the 6 ‘cores’ of WIOA. These ‘cores’ cover all age groups and population types. You’ll also find ‘partner’ programs will hinge off these 6 ‘cores’.
c) Page 4 shows the partners. In education, CTE (Career Tech Ed) covers all ages/choices; federal-to-state funding streams for TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and Community Block Grants are also intersecting with education; Veterans funding will also be involved.
d) Page 7 reveals the industry specific economic targets for the State. Somehow, this is going to bring prosperity to every North Carolinian citizen. How, those “Prosperity Zones (PZs)”
I’ve researched and shown you before. These Zones were legislatively created and embedded 2014 and 2015 (respectively). When I last wrote about the PZs it was 2018. You’ll see just how eerily deceptive these Zones are and how easily the globalization of a barely educated workforce lurks underneath.
e) Pages 11 and 12 will show you all kinds of figures on job growth per industry. Page 13 reveals that employers are ‘bullish’ on growing jobs. Warriors, we’ve seen their ‘bull’ long enough and how it’s ruining our children. On the pages which follow, you’ll see lots of CCSS Machine organizations and phrases used to create the false narrative that a) there’s a skills gap and b) the only way to fix it is via aligned education/training. For more on ‘a’ and ‘b’, go here.
f) Near Page 25, you’ll see the Governor of NC mentioned. His plan combines education directly with skills. Warriors, did you know that when WIOA was passed in 2014, the increase in power given to the office of governor greatly increased? Thereby weakening taxpayers voices yet again. Many of the programs Gov. Cooper is using were already laid out before him. That he’s extending and adding to them, let’s us know regardless of politics, the global workforce/kill personal choice is alive and well.
Lastly, every bit of what’s contained in the NC Plan and others will unite data to kill personal choice in what you learn, where you work, and lots more.
Look below and see how ‘far’ we’ve come. See much ‘personal choice’? I don’t.
Warriors, I hope you can see how little our personal freedoms mean to our federal government. I hope you can see how little choice you really have when it comes to ‘education’.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors ~ we must be on guard at all times and keep our eyes open.
Another popular Diva post, “Whoa, Neighbor!“, reveals an example of who is promoting community engagement programs with the goal of peering further into our private lives. Keep an eye out folks, you don’t just hand anyone the keys to your home.

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, what I’m about to share happened to me this past weekend. I got a seemingly harmless piece of mail. It was geared for my neighborhood and looked like a great way to get involved. I mean, after all, how many of us know to fight our War Vs the Core, we need to be locally minded first, then, venture out.
ESSA In Our Communities:
Below, is the letter I received. Notice how it states we can keep up with crime, safety, find our pets, etc. Nowhere do you see ‘school’ or “education”.
But, after digging into just who/what “Nextdoor” is, I found it’s VERY much in education. To the point it’s partnering with schools to breed community engagement. Something ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) embedded as a mandate.
Where in ESSA is the ‘community engagement’ language?
You’ll find ‘community’170 times.
You’ll also find community is involved in Sections 4001-4206 (21st Century Community Learning Centers); Sections 4501-4506 (Family Engagement), and, Section 4611 (Ed Research, Sub-part 2 Community Support for School Success), Section 4624 (Promise Neighborhoods), Section 4625 (Full service community schools), and ‘community colleges’, which are written throughout the law.
Back in 2018, I showed you how NC (where I live) has annual conferences to embed the community in education. In that article the Community in Education Conference was centered on ‘building capacity’via ‘innovations’. This year’s was “personalized learning”. Look in your State for similar programs.
From their Press Release section: “Headquartered in San Francisco, Calif., Nextdoor is a privately held company with the backing of prominent investors, including Benchmark, Greylock Partners, Tiger Global Management, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and others.”
So, how did I find Nextdoor in our schools? I did a general search.
The NY Times published in 2018, how the company can be used in politics. We know politics and education intertwine.
In 2015, the Tennessean published that Metro Nashville Public Schools became the first school district in the nation to partner with Nextdoor for a broader sense of community involvement in education.
If you look at one of the co-founders of Nextdoor, you’ll see she’s got ties to both Harvard and Microsoft, two huge CCSS Machine member groups. You’ll also see service on a MA school board.
When you think about the need for verification of address, that should alarm you. Why? It means your home address is being tracked. It’s not a far jump to remember that these on-line companies also can benefit from the smart devices students bring home which have been issued at schools.
Also consider that since FEMA and NOAA are also CCSS Machine member federal agencies/programs, it’s not a far stretch to think HUD (also among the federal CCSS Machine member agencies) will become involved with address and home ownership verification.
While it doesn’t appear Nextdoor is that creepy yet, it never hurts to be proactive. I do know that there has been talk about one day down the road, Nextdoor could be among internet providers. We KNOW that means massive trouble as far as personal data, especially when combined with school partners.
This “How Stuff Works” article points out that Nextdoor has had issues with racial profiling, but it working on it. The article also explains how services like Nextdoor have a niche market. How will privacy laws like FEPA (Foundations for Evidence-based Policy-making) factor in? What about the bullying aspect? If racial profiling’s an issue, how in the name of all that’s holy, will school partners prevent terrible behavior? What about hacking the neighborhood or school information?
To answer some of these questions, as well as to learn (page 7) how NextDoor owns your data once it’s supplied, the Ga Tech Study will be handy. In the GT Study are 13 references to data.
In 2017, CNBC reported Nextdoor was worth over $1 billion dollars in venture capital. Warriors, venture capitalists HATE local control in education. At least the CCSS Machine member venture capitalists like Netflix, Global Silicon Valley, etc.
Speaking of GSV (Global Silicon Valley), Nextdoor is among the Top 10 performers of the GSV portfolio. So, all that data and those privacy concerns ARE a big deal after all!
Below are just a FEW of the education related groups also in the GSV portfolio. Since Nextdoor is too, I connected them for you.
If you’d like to see all my previous research and articles on GSV, go here.
One last thought, Warriors, Nextdoor and police departments partner together in several cities. Have you seen the large net law enforcement has, thanks to ESSA’s‘school safety’ mandates? “Law enforcement” is embedded 6 times. Most are the student’s safety, but, we also know that lots of data sharing will take place. Again, with laws like FEPA, law enforcement agencies were given an increase in the amount of information they can collect and share. FEPA is also a back door to removing our 2nd Amendment rights.
Warriors, in this day and age, take NOTHING at face value. I’m glad I did some digging into my neighborhood ‘watch’. Now that you know, warn someone who uses Nextdoor. Talk with someone considering it. They’re in for much more than a simple, ‘let’s be neighbors’ chat.
Today let’s follow-up with a look at the second most popular post of the year, “Getting a Checkup“. In this post, Diva researches some health care pushes from the CCSS Machine coming to us through school curriculum, doctor offices, and hospitals. What is the goal behind this ~ Controlled citizens.
Parents and Warriors, this week is a great time to look back at what we learned so far. See if what is happening in neighboring states is happening in yours.
It is important to share this information with others so more people are informed and can speak up and speak out!

Getting A Checkup
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I was recently asked about researching health care pushes coming from the CCSS Machine. Among the health care pushes are in-home visits, vaccine requirements, sexuality treatments, and, mental health overreaches.
These pushes are in place via ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act. In that 2015 federal law, the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services was given a huge increase in power. Why? Overreaching into education and increasing health care funding to schools.
These health care pushes are also in place due to our relationship with the UN (United Nations), WHO (World Health Organization), and all their partners. As we know, Warriors, the UN is part of the CCSS Machine.
Warriors, there are health care pushes coming at us from on-line (examples are tele-health or E-healthy schools) and in person (schools, doctor’s offices).
What’s the real goal behind the pushes? Controlled citizens.
Our freedoms and rights to choose, or not to choose how we care for ourselves or our children, are being stripped away.
In Jan. 2019, I showed you how ‘school choice’ was actually eroding parental rights. Point #7, in this article showed you the in-home visit overreach bill from IL. Also in January, I showed you how the E-health is a directive from the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The sales pitch? Save time and money. Lastly from January 2019, the Early Head Start, Head Start, and, PreK Development Grants used to push in-home visits and health care.
Back in 2017, I showed you the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) overreaches found in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) as well as the huge data raping that goes on with student based health care. Also from 2017, CATCH grants (Community Access to Children’s Health), rural health care (E-Health Schools), and all which ties them together.
New Items To Share:
We’ve recently seen NY strike out against families over vaccines. Do you know what your State requires? If you don’t I’ve found a website where you can access all the legislative moves being made across America. NVIC (National Vaccine Information Center) has a specific page where you’ll see all the States with current proposed or passed vaccine bills. Some States are not on the current list, but some of the States (like IA, AZ, and, CT) have many. Look under “Bills to Watch”.
Below, is a screen shot from NC (where I live)’s Dept. of Health/Human Services. Here, we can choose personal, non-religious exemptions and religious exemptions to refuse vaccines. However, how long will it be before our choice to refuse lasts?
Why would I ask that question about ‘how long’? Warriors, below is HR Resolution 179, a Congressional nod to vaccinate just like the UN/WHO and others are pushing:
Warriors, there are also other federal legislative moves for more vaccines. HR 1371 and S 570 are sister bills. Titled “Flu Vaccine Act”. They would further research (comprehensive) for a universal flu vaccine. Taxpayer cost? $200 billion each fiscal year between 2020 and 2024. Then, there’s HR 1973 which will amend the IRS tax code for vaccines (will add more which can be taxed). HR 1371 is currently in the House’s Energy and Commerce Committee; S 570 is in the Senate’s HELP Committee; and, HR 1973 is in the House’s Ways and Means Committee.
If you’d like to see who advises Americans about vaccines, the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) is part of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). As we’ve seen, the CDC not only massively data rape our health care in education, it manipulates the SEL portions, too. Notice which people have the power.
Warriors, here’s a website called SaneVax(Safe, Affordable, Necessary, and Effective Vaccines). While it doesn’t support the HPV vaccine, it does base all its support on scientific research. SaneVax is tied to the UN and WHO. Be sure to watch the short video when you visit the website.
Here’s the UN/WHO evidence, also note that Big Pharma is listed. SaneVax does offer vaccine injury support, as well.
It was from this website, I found that the UN’s EWEC (Every Woman Every Child) campaign is using vaccines to push for global health.
Below, is a screen shot of proof showing the WHO and UN are partnering with other global groups.
This Partnership’s main goal is to implement the Agenda 2030’s SDGs. If you wish to see the 700 vaccine links on the PMNCH website, go here.
Warriors, ‘CHOP’ is short for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (PA). In 2017, their“Gender Clinic Annual Report”shared this,“Education and Training As we look back on three amazing years of collaborating with and listening to families and community leaders, we have identified two critical areas for our education and training efforts: supporting pediatricians and school staff. To date, over 300 medical providers have been trained in providing competent care throughout the CHOP network. The Hospital is developing new policies that will govern care for transgender patients, families, and guests – among the first in the nation for a pediatric hospital. Further, our clinic educator has provided school trainings to over 1500 educators. And, thanks to a generous donation from a local family foundation, trainings will double to include more schools in NJ, DE and Western PA.”
In 2018, CHOP was named a leader in LGBTQ health care by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. HRC is linked to the UN and has backed the CCSS Machine in education, as well. Notice that the article embedded shared this was the 4th year the honor had been given.
How do the UN and their SDGs handle gender and sexuality? In March 2019, I laid it all out for you.
CHOP does have its own “Safe Schools Curriculum” for LGBTQ (evidence of that can be found Page 4 of the 2017 Annual Report). After reaching out to CHOP and receiving no response, I scoured the internet for the curriculum. I wasn’t successful there, either. You can see more about the ‘professional development’ in this area, here.
The co-leader of the CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Center is Dr. Linda Hawkins. Her resume is full of all kinds of LGBTQ research. To learn more about WPATH, go here.
Did you also know thatGLSEN is in Philadelphia Public Schools? Their goal is to open up access to Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network chapters for K-8th grades, not just high schools. I wrote about GLSEN and their support for CCSS in 2018. Here’s their statement on ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act).
Below is a screen shot of the Philadelphia SchoolsPolicyfor LGBTQ:
Warriors, use the above information to see what’s in your State.
Human Rights Campaign’s “Welcoming Schools”:
For teachers and school leaders for PD (professional development), go here.
Where will teachers and other school leaders insert LGBTQ items? Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music, Art, PE, the library, and SEL (Social Emotional Learning). However, schools willnot be the only places these activities will show up. Because so much of the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) language involves aligning the entire community, you’ll see more and more pop up all across town.
The Safe Schools Project from CA can be found here. From what you can find there, the main focus is middle school and high school.
There you have it, Warriors, the special requested information. Use what you’ve learned here to know what to look for in your community. This will be, as I said above, not only in schools, but everywhere in our towns.
The phony ‘school choice’ rhetoric continues on. The general public is being led to believe through slick marketing and promoted tax-payer funded programs choices will be plentiful. Meanwhile, as revealed in my research, the true goal is to align ALL education 100%. Elected officials need to hear from us and let them know we want to reserve the ability to choose what kind of education we want for our children.
November of 2016 I pointed out WHY national standards, over-assessing, and school choice BAD for AMERICA and shared the paper HOW to end the ‘Fed-Led-ED’by Dr. Peg Luksik.
“Principle Five: Local control is a necessity
Federal involvement in education has increased costs, bloated administrative bureaucracies, and turned our schools into political battlegrounds where concern for the needs of the children has all but disappeared. Effective education reform begins with ending Washington’s role in education. True local control, with state-level oversight, ensures that schools can respond to the needs of their children. Local control enables parents to exercise their rights and their responsibilities as primary educators in a meaningful way, and allows teachers to work with those parents effectively, so every child can receive the education that meets her needs.” ~ posted by MK for the Diva
So You Think YOU Can Change The Game?
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, you have gotten used to me using NC as an example of what to look for. Even when I don’t point that out, you are great to say, “Hey, wait, we have that too in______________________.”
Likewise, I’ve done the same. It’s great to be a part of a national team. We know our opponents well. However, I don’t think they truly realize that we’ve figured out by now the fallacy behind ‘school choice’. Page 17 of the Final ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) law and page 33 of the ESSA Final Conference Report were 100% crystal clear that ALL education must be aligned to the same thing.
I guess because our opponents didn’t read EITHER version like we did, they think every time a new way to falsify ‘school choice’, we will cheer for their brilliance. Not me, not at all. I won’t ever jeer. I’ll just point to the research and evidence.
So, imagine my ‘not impressed’ attitude when I found this NC Bill for yet another (yawn) new type of school.
Warriors, Meet NC Senate Bill 160, “Lie Changing Experiences School Pilot Program:
Bill link is here.
Before we look at what a life changing school will look like, I want to remind you of the May 2018 article I wrote where NC was trying a new school pilot program (again phony school choice) called “Lab Schools”.
These schools would combine K-12 education to colleges. The hope was to raise up low performing students via college students in education majors all the while using ‘best practices’ in ed reform.
Should work like a charm, right?
Contrast THAT with this new pilot “Life Changing Schools”. NC has entered into a P3 (Public Private Partnership) with the Children and Parent Resource Group, Inc. (CPR).
CPR is made up of professionals from education, social work, and community health. Volunteers also are on board to round out the mission of CPR. Below is a brief snapshot of that mission:
Why would I point out the $360,000.00? The “charity” partof the CPR is to offer all their programs for children and youth at no cost, yet HB 160, has set aside $360,000.00 for creating a pilot school. Would it not make more sense to keep the program as is and SAVE NC taxpayers almost $400,000.00?
Since CPR is a type of wrap-around community based program which fits right into the ESSA mandates for such, it sure makes sense to me. But, I’m not a politician.
The “LCE” Community Education Project (Life Changing Experience) Community Education Project:
To see the entire page for the LCE, you’ll find that here.
To learn how the charity of your financial donation works, visit this page. To see the $6.00 per child information, visit this one.
If you’re as curious as I am about how to take a traveling educratic show and turn it into a full time school, you’ll need to watch their 9 minute video explaining they are a ‘first of its kind, a social business’NOT an educational institution!! (near the 1:10 minute marker)
You’ll also hear the word ‘holistic’ connected to the approach this business takes towards kids. “Holistic” is also known as ‘whole-child’ as in ‘educating the whole child’..a VERY worn out CCSS Machine phrase which hides not only SEL, but much more.
You’ll also need to look for the items chosen to replace negative behaviors with (sustainability tops the list). You’ll also need to listen for the ‘universal plan’ to children in the video. Other ‘buzzwords’ to listen for ‘hypnotic’, ‘keep our world sustainability safe’, ‘life changing app’ and weekly emails’, ‘systematically’, and then listen to the partnerships mentioned. Not one is education based! To see and read the rest about LCE, visit this link.
Warriors, no doubt this new ‘school’ SB 160 wants to create is tied to the NC effort to make schools safe. Problem is, ESSA’s mandates for safe schools attacks our 2nd amendment rights, personal and privacy data intrusion, behavior and mental health overreaches, everything in between!
To read the 2018 Final Report for NC School Safety, visit here. “Behavior” is embedded 27 times, ‘mental’ is embedded 44 times (most are in relation to mental health).
Directly from that Final Report is NC’s HB 75.
What You Can Look For In Your State, Based Off NC’s Final School Safety Report:
1) Is your State considering a state-wide use of a mental health risk screening assessment? NC’s looking at either Pearson’s BASC-2 Behavior and Emotional Risk ScreeningORFastBridge Learning’s Social Emotional Learning Risk Screening. Pearson’s information on BASC-2 (be sure to download the samples for parents to use at home. Those assess the family).
FastBridge Learning’s information on their SEL Risk Assessment.
2) Will your State amend any Statutes or Constitution passages? NC’s HB 75 will amend the NC General Statute Education Chapter (115C), particularly Section 46 by adding a new section. Previously, Section 46 dealt with school parking and school vehicles. The new section will embed behavior and mental health into civic responsibility.
3) Will your State train school support mental health people? Are these ‘supporting’ people professionals or volunteers?
NC’s will be trained with the MATCH-ADTC (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or, Conduct Problems)
To see the MATCH sample, go here.
To see the handout, visit this link. Warriors, are we seeing how this is going to impact imagination? If I have absolutely no unrealistic thought, how can I think intelligently? If I have zero negativity, how can I understand bad things?
4) Will your State create and expand government in the name of school safety?
NC’s plan is to do so. How? A new State government center will be inserted under the NC DPI (NC Dept. of Public Instruction). This new center is to be called the Center for Safer Schools. This entire center will be under the direction of State Superintendent Mark Johnson. Part of the center will use Threat Assessment Teams. Given that so much SEL is woven into school safety, this should be a huge concern.
5) Will your State continue to increase mental health P3s (public private partnerships) or blend funds between different agencies? NC plans to do this by continuing to align education and health/human services.
Warriors, to answer the title’s question, yes, States CAN change the ‘game’ in education.
However, it is not is a good direction whatsoever.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I’d be remiss if I didn’t take my hat off to all the teachers out there who fight for our kids against the CCSS Machine. I don’t appreciate you for one week out of the year, I appreciate your spunk EVERY day!
I’d also like to give a shout out to all our Mom Warriors. Many of us have been at this for years, while we see newer Moms join us.
We win the daily battles in uniting against all that seeks to harm our kids, no matter if we actually gave birth to them or not. Our kids are OURS.
To all our Dads out there who’ve stepped up and had to fill Mom’s shoes for whatever reason, I salute you, too. Your presence in the War Vs the Core is vital.
My Wish For Every Parent, Everyday:
Warriors, with Mother’s Day Weekend, quickly approaching. I wanted to take the time to wish every Mom; every parent, and, every teacher to not give up. I know you hate the CCSS Machine and all that comes with it. You know I do, too.
If you’re like me, you know that even with the tough days we face, we have to keep protecting our kids.
While we are in a War Vs the Core, we also know the odds against us are steep. Steep or not, we choose every day, to pick up our ‘super hero cape’ and fight on. THANK YOU!
So, I’m not going to get sappy, Warriors.
You won’t get rosy speeches or flowers from me. We can shower each other with the spoils of this War later.
What I DO wish for you is the same thing I posted a few days ago on my Facebook wall: “*I wish for you to stand up for your kids and mine; I want you to stand strong for them when they are weak. You never know how many times I’ve stood for them while shielding my own. **I wish for you to crush ‘those boxes’ in front of you, so they can see boxes are not meant to define us or confine us. ***I wish for you to firm when needed, laugh largely EVERY chance you get, to love fiercely, and fight even moreso. ****I wish for you to know when one of us stumbles and falls, others are there to lift you up. *****Challenge each other to stay strong and stand the course.”
Why Do We Fight?
We want desperately to ‘win’ the War Vs the Core. A complete and total ‘win’, too. What would that even look like?
In a ‘perfect’ world? We’ve see ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) repealed. We see Congress respect the U. S. Constitution and remove every OTHER federally overreaching law into education. We’d see the UN (United Nations) run out of America faster than a speeding bullet. We’d see teachers freed from the mandates which hold them back and students who’s privacy and emotions were not manipulated. We’d also know that the constant testing and alignment to agendas which do not match our values would be history. We’d see school boards released from the bondage of conformity and work with parents for long than 3 minute timed speeches. We’d see every single participant from the CCSS Machine held criminally charged with child abuse. Lastly, we’d demand a full and total refund from every profiteer off our children and settle for no less than a public apology to accompany their checks.
We fight for freedom, respect, justice, and truth. Every child deserves that.
We fight to make ANY variation of our ‘complete win’ possible. Every blow against the CCSS Machine is a victory. Don’t discount ANY victory, Warriors!
What We Pass On Matters:
Warriors, I don’t have to tell you our kids learn what matters MOST from us.
As Anti Fed Ed Warriors, I trust your kids hate the overreaches as much as you do! I hope they are standing up beside us and fighting back.
I’ll leave you with this…
What do you think my daughters have learned from my actions? They, to this day, still ‘salute’ the CCSS Machine.
Warriors, go be awesome this weekend. Be fantastic every day! Why? Every day we fight for the right things is a GREAT day!
******* Blog notice: The from May 13th-May 20th, the “Best Of Common Core Diva”articles will recirculate. So, if you missed them the first time, you can catch up. Each of the articles will still be relevant to our War Vs the Core, especially as the 2020 elections approach.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, in my last article I shared that I’d look into the federal educratic overreach into higher education and mental health. We know all too well the overreaches in PreK to 12th grade mental health services are ‘off the charts’.
Meet S 1204, Higher Education Mental Health Act of 2019:
Warriors, the worst news we could find in this ill hatched Bill is that Sec. DeVos is in charge of forming a 20 person (or less) Commission. One of the most unqualified federal employees of all time will be dictating who serves, how they serve, and, what they recommend to address our older teens and adult children’s needs. Words fail to express my disgust on this topic.
S 1204 is sponsored by Senator Casey (PA). Co-sponsors are Kane (VA), Blumenthal (CT), Klobuchar (MN), Smith (MN), and, Hassan (NH).
Warriors, have you seen the mental health overreaches from each of these Senators districts? What about each of their stances on S 1204? Would any of them truly know what it’s like to have an older teen or adult child with a true mental health issue?
**Let me pause right here to clarify, I am not disrespecting any parent of a child with mental health issues; rather I am trying to point to the difference between a qualified medical professional’s diagnosis and a educator tasked with making a diagnosis. There is, or should be, a distinct difference.**
(Source) Warriors, in the article where you’ll find the above image, I shared that ESSA had 60 instances for SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Of those, how many are truly needed by a qualified psychologist? If you look deep enough, not many.
However, how many SEL or mental health references are in the HEA (Higher Education Act), after all, S 1204 is about higher education students.
Here are 10 references to mental health in the HEA of 1965 (as amended in 2018 Public Law 115-334): a) Sect. 825: (index) guidance on mental health disclosure for students b) Page 357: mental health professionals must have NO less than a master’s degree in social work, psychology or psychiatry. These professionals must be employed full time and provide current mental health services. c) Page 361: Part A of Title I of the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Act d) Page 405: mental health and student loan repayment e) Page 509: mental health impairment for at least 5 years (student loans) f) Pages 518-19: ‘high risk children’ (serious emotional, mental or behavior issues) g) Page 609: mental health (in event of assaults on campus) written notice of existing counseling h) Page 808: co-ordinate mental health with local professionals i) Page 829: (where Section 825 begins), guidance for mental health in relation to student safety; direct tie to FERPA (Family Education Rights to Privacy Act) j) Sect. 873: Part T Veterans mental health in relation to student success
Warriors, let’s contrast that with S 1204’s impact on higher education and mental health:
Warriors, if you need to open the above image in a different screen, please do. The most dangerous shift from the HEA to S 1204 is that the mandate for a mental health professionals with NO less than a master’s degree now sees someone with a 2 year degree able to recommend mental health’s direction.
Folks, that is shockingly disturbing. When you take into consideration that NONE of the Senators are mental health professionals with master’s degrees, how can they expect that a 2 year degree (associates) can even come close to the same experience when it comes to mental health?
Mental Health For Sale:
Warriors, the CCSS Machine thinks it knows real mental health issues/treatments. Just look at the sponsors and co-sponsors of S 1204.
If you’d like to seeSen. Casey’s campaign financing, Big Insurance and Big Pharma bank roll him. Sen. Kane hasMicrosoft’sdollars in his pocket. Sen. Blumenthal hasBig Mediahelping his ‘view’ of legislation. Sen. Klobuchar uses Disney’sdistorted knowledgeof mental health. Sen. Smith has Big Government in herback pocket. Sen. Hassan putHarvardUniversity’s skewed agenda guide her. (*Note: As always, Open Secrets is the source cited.)
Warriors, it was one thing to play ‘doctor’ as a kid, but as a legislator? Now, I have no idea if any of these educrats directly has been impacted by any type of mental health issue.
I’d wager, however, they haven’t. Why? If they had there’s no way on God’s green Earth they’d even dream up of mental health legislation like S 1204.
(image from printfakedoctorsnote.com)
Warriors, as you can see S 1204 is a TERRIBLEbill. Every overreach into mental health by Congress is an insult. Why would I come down so harshly on this? There are a couple of reasons.
First, DC is NOT a qualified mental health expert. Even the President used a Proclamation for political purposes in declaringMay as Mental Health Month. (*Notes: I did check to see how many doctors are also Congress men and women in the 116th. There are 16, and not one is a mental health doctor. Members of the Mental Health Caucus are here, none of the 16 doctors are serving in this Caucus.)
Secondly, I am a mother of a young adult who has been properly diagnosed in mental issues. The issues we face were not school related in any way. The road we walk is beastly. I cannot fathom the horrors awaiting those families who receive a CCSS Machine version of such a diagnosis.
For every family like mine, who has a legitimate need, there is Congress trying to skew the truth to create some version of a level playing field that doesn’t really benefit those in need, but does fit their Congressional bank accounts.
Where is Congress getting their cues for mental health? It’s not US, it’s globally sourced.
Warriors, we’ve seen the train wreck PreK-12th grade mental health misdiagnoses and over medications has become. Are we really going to trust the CCSS Machine to suddenly treat our older teens and young adults with any BETTER results?
Let the doctors manage and treat our afflicted properly.
May the politicians crawl back to their murky watered swamp. That’s where their business is. It certainly is NOT in education. It certainly has NO place in mental health.
Anti Fed Ed Warriors, yesterday, I showed you how S 406 (Federal Rotational Cyber Workforce Program Act) is being fast-tracked. The article laid out for you the links between education and labor; how cybersecurity is to be increased, not only in education, but all across America. The article also showed you the federal and global co-operation where education and labor are concerned.
Below, is an old screen shot I created back from our campaign to stop the confirmation of Dr. King as U.S. Sec. of Education. Under DeVos (as Ed Sec.), all these are not only still in place, but have been increased. Especially STEM and STEAM.
Cybersecurity is not all about protecting We the Peoplefrom the hackers and whackers out there. Cybersecurity tracks all we do, on-line and, we’re finding it off-line, too.
In education, cybersecurity is passed off as ‘coding’. In the early grade levels (remember, coding is available to ALL education choices) coding is called ‘fun and games’.
Where will cybersecurity ‘pop up’ in education and labor? STEM, STEAM, CTE, and CCR. All these connect to CCSS, too. Warriors, not only will be tracked by ‘human capital police’, we’re going to see their training embedded in PreK to adult education.
The 116th HC Plans:
Warriors, not only do we have S 406, but there’s HR 1592. HR 1592 directs Sec. DeVos to create a pilot program for cybersecurity education. There are other related bills from both Chambers, but we’ll start with HR 1592. Cybersecurity Skills Integration Act is HR 1592’s title.
Warriors, the supposed benefits of HR 1592: a) Credentialed and employable US citizens
b) Improved infrastructure in the US (ties back to the Patriot Act)
c) CTE (Career Tech Education) cybersecurity will promote diversity in the workplace
d) Competitive grants will be used to promote regionalism
e) Ties back to ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 aka ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act, 2015)
f) Tracks which students get credentialed
g) Gives Sec. DeVos $10 million dollars in all for the pilot creation and competitive grants
h) Opens the partnerships up to ‘alternative stakeholders’ i) Must meet ‘in demand’ and economic trends
j) Uses work-based learning (aka apprenticeships) Ties to WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) and the HEA (Higher Education Act)Both WIOA and HEA were embedded in ESSA’s language. k) Targets special sub-groups of the population for workforce needs
Currently, HR 1592 is in the U.S. House Education and Labor Committee.
If you’d like to read Rep. Langevine’s Press Release on the Executive Order by President Trump on the cybersecurity workforce needs, go here. In his release, Langevine promotes HR 1592.
That EO (Executive Order)Rep. Langevine referred to? That’s EO 13800, issued in 2017.
EO 13800 called for every federal agency (which included the U.S. Dept. of Education) to comply with the framework for cybersecurity. The EO also called for increased workforce development of cybersecurity.
EO 13859 (Feb. 2019) called for increased workforce development of AI (artificial intelligence) which relates to cybersecurity.
What about the ties all this will have to not only S 406, but the Education and Information Exchange Act (both were discussed in yesterday’s article)?
The President issued a Proclamation on “World Intellectual Property Day” (May 2, 2019). In that Proclamation (#9865) the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) was a key piece in intellectual property (personal private information) rights.
Warriors, the cybersecurity directly relates to all this. Also, think about the global data tracking and trails which have also been discussed in yesterday’s article and other previously published research of mine.
As far as USMCA in education, that’s a huge problem in data collection/sharing!
Back in Nov. 2018, before Congress voted on USMCA, I showed you how it would embed everything the UN (United Nations) needed for the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to thrive in the US.
Since the vote for USMCA went through, I’ve shown you other waysUSMCA is not our friend.
As I pointed out yesterday, cybersecurity unites SDGs #4 and #8 (education/decent work).
1) If you missed my review of how President Trump is ‘helping’ education in the light of the upcoming 2020 Presidential race, I urge you to read this. He has not lessened the federal overreaches, nor the global ones. He has helped increase them.
2) If you think all this cybersecurity won’t impact FEPA (Foundations for Evidence-based Policy-making), I urge you to read this. FEPA was signed into law even though much push-back was given by We the Poeple.
3) Use www.congress.gov to look up the bills related in topic to data mining, STEM/STEAM, CTE, and, cybersecurity.
For example, these bills are of big concern:
House Bills: HR 1591 (Targets girls and underrepresented students for more STEM; amends ESSA for funding streams to increase technology); HR 1672 (Amends HEA for freedom of expression); HR 1634 (Amends WIOA for more Youth Corps) HR 1635 (Community based jobs); HR 1571 (Creates fed/State partnership, amends HEA for DREAMers); HR 1565 (Creates a new higher ed data tracking system); HR 1519 (Increases culture exchanges); House Resolution 169 (calls for increase in STEAM education); HR 1637 (Allows high schools to be come voter registration locations); HR 1652 (Improves Veteran education grants); HR 1676 (Increases STEAM and amends ESSA); HR 1678 (Creates a Task Force in the US Dept of Ed); HR 1662 (Creates a pilot program under U.S. Dept. of Ed for high tech to assist families of special needs students); HR 1688 (Fulfills federal mandates for Native American education); and, HR 1485 (Authorizes U.S. Dept. of Education to create more PreK-12th computer science).
Senate Bills: S 1292 (Amends HEA and will use data for student loans); S 1299 (Amends ESSA for more STEM); S 1221 (Amends HEA to create innovation zones); S 1072 (Amends HEA for Pell Grants to go for job training); S 1074 (Reinstates Pell Grants for prisoners); S 1157 (Amends both HEA and ESSA); S 1119 (School lunches/anti bully); S 1168 (Amends HEA for increased religious groups access); S 1176 (Amends HEA for disabled students); S 1198 (Increases U.S. Dept. of Ed’s study abroad programming for global competency); S 1172 (Amends ESSA/IDEA for fully funded Part A of Title One); S 1153 (Makes unauthorized education data access a crime (certain types of ed data)); S 1204 (Expands the U.S. Dept of Ed and implants mental health in higher education); S 1175 (Amends HEA in technical information); S 1117 (Amends HEA and creates Career Pathways Grants); S 1203 and S 1219 Amend HEA; and, S 1137 (streamlines education/job training for environmental health workforce).
It’s called represent‘We the People’, not Yourself, the “sold out”!
Warriors, we MUST be pro-active in seeing where Congress is steering our nation. So far, it’s not in any direction we ever desired. the “HC” Plans (Human Capital Plans) are wretched and MUST be stopped!
For my next article, I’ll be focusing on the federal overreaches in education where mental health is concerned to honor May as “Mental Health Awareness” Month.
