Waving Choice Goodbye

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, you’ve heard me tell you time and time again that ‘school choice’ is a fallacy. The culprit is the CCSS Machine.
The tools used to ruin ‘school choice’ are WIOA, ESSA, HEA, and other top-down federal laws. (WIOA is Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, 2014; ESSA is Every Student Succeeds Act, 2015; and, HEA is the Higher Education Act, 2008 and up for re-authorization very soon).

Warriors, the fact of the matter is ‘school choice’ is really more about “personal choice”.

However, ESSA killed that choice with it’s mandate that ALL education be aligned to the post-secondary readiness standards of WIOA.

So, in essence, at least in education; that simple line from the 1965 Dr. Zhivago movie (fiction) has become our reality:

                “All personal choice is dead.”

As we know, much of the CCSS Machine’s design uses education as the ‘change agent’ to alter our lives.
We know the control is meant for cradle to grave and encompasses where you’ll work. That’s why students of all ages are being pumped through the CCSS’s College and Career Readiness or the CCSS’s Career Tech Education or the (United Nation’s) UN’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
It’s to force our students (and eventually the rest of us) into a controlled nanny-state. (Also very present in the fictional account of Dr. Zhivago)

You may wonder why I included the UN in connection to the CCSS Machine. First, Berit Kjos and many others (myself included) have traced the Common Core State Standards back to the UN, so the UN is part of the Machine.
However, STEM is the UN’s special change agent to usher in the Agenda 2030. How?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of the A2030 and SDGs, where we live and where we work will be determined for us, largely through education and what career track we’ve been trained for (or re-trained for).
This is pure confinement for us as Americans; not the free people we were Constitutionally guaranteed, Warriors.

Contrast it to any movie like Dr. Zhivago and you’ll get a fair idea of how awful this direction is for Americans.

Since ESSA mandated WIOA in PreK through 12 grades (as well as tie it to the HEA for colleges and trade schools), how is the government helping all this come to fruition?

What Are Waivers? How Do They Kill Choice?

If you’re not sure what a waiver is in the realm of federal education, it was supposed to be a tool given to States and school districts to offer flexibility in how federal funds could be used to offer ‘quality’ education.
Sounds great, right? Especially with the CCSS Machine hype and lies about States being able to get their right to control education BACK when ESSA was made into law.

ESSA, by embedding WIOA, embedded funds for workforce. Likewise the WIOA waivers will embed education, not for academics, but competency based education (CBE).
CBE is CCSS, too.

CBE is woven into ESSA, WIOA, and the HEA…on purpose. It’s the shift from reading, writing, and arithmetic to poorly skilled labor force.

Warriors, think back to those Race to the Top Education Waivers or the ESSA Flexibility Waivers? Have you really seen any improvement in education? Have you really seen any removal of federal control or a distinct freedom your district or State didn’t have before?

There’s been none, because the Waivers are a deceptive move for MORE federal control to implant MORE shifting of education away from what we’ve known to what the global workforce needs: laborers. Our U.S. Constitution puts it another way, ‘indentured servants’. (Which by the way was also prohibited later on in the Constitution!)

According to the U.S. Dept. of Labor, States were given a sense of freedom in how their Waivers were used, as long as they were used to improve job seeking systems for better employer ‘outcomes’.
Warriors, hang on before we go any further.

Let’s review a few flies in this ointment.
a) Since ESSA has embedded WIOA, the ‘job seeking’ is happening as young as 2nd grade in some States. The ‘job seeking’ is also found outside traditional public schools via dual enrollment, fast tracking career systems like apprenticeships, internships, early career or college schools, etc. ALL this impacts every ‘school choice’, including homeschools.
**It’s not so much the student seeking a job, as it is the job is seeking the student, before the student is capable!

b) As far as ’employer outcomes’, since WIOA, HEA, and, ESSA embedded P3s (public private partnerships) we’ve seen an insane increase in how much the corporate employer ‘needs’ have ruined academics. We’ve seen businesses with zero educational training usurp teachers for their purposes.
**States are allowing this to happen every day they receive ANY type of federal funding or P3 funding!

c) The WQDI (Workforce Quality Data Initiative) is ‘married’ to the SLDS (Student Longitudinal Data System) FOR one purpose: aligned education for workforce needs. Regardless of what school (even homeschoolers) are in this system already or become a part of the system as soon as they participate in any of ‘a’ (above).
**Being a free nation, this type of data tracking is not only illegal, it’s ‘data rape’!

Warriors, as far as the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s information, WIOA Waivers aren’t so much needed now, as they were codified when WIOA was passed into law (2014). However, much like the State Plans for ESSA which needed to be submitted to the Sec. of Education (DeVos), the State Plans for WIOA are still in use (2019). These Plans are called WIOA Unified or Combined State Plans and must be submitted to the Sec. of Labor.
**By submission of those Plans, States gave full access to the federal government as far as data.

These State Plans? We, the People, can access them on the U.S. Dept. of Education’s website! Look below at the way I found this out:

According to the U.S. Dept. of Education’s page I found this on, almost every State has a plan which has been approved by the feds. No State’s able to make its own plan for its own people or by those taxpayers. It’s all been run through the globally led workforce needs based system of control. The only States without an approved WIOA State Plan are TN, MI, MA, NE, and VA. The only U.S. Territory without one is the Virgin Islands.

I urge you to look at your State Plan. If you have none, let’s use NC’s as an example of what you’ll find that kills personal choice in education.

a) The NC Plan is 399 pages long and is dated FY 2018. NC elected to go with a “Unified” Plan which means all the alignment will come from every possible agency, program, and, angle. Those most targeted? “Under-served populations” including youth.

b) Page 3 shows the 6 ‘cores’ of WIOA. These ‘cores’ cover all age groups and population types. You’ll also find ‘partner’ programs will hinge off these 6 ‘cores’.

c) Page 4 shows the partners. In education, CTE (Career Tech Ed) covers all ages/choices; federal-to-state funding streams for TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and Community Block Grants are also intersecting with education; Veterans funding will also be involved.

d) Page 7 reveals the industry specific economic targets for the State. Somehow, this is going to bring prosperity to every North Carolinian citizen. How, those “Prosperity Zones (PZs)”
I’ve researched and shown you before. These Zones were legislatively created and embedded 2014 and 2015 (respectively). When I last wrote about the PZs it was 2018. You’ll see just how eerily deceptive these Zones are and how easily the globalization of a barely educated workforce lurks underneath.

e) Pages 11 and 12 will show you all kinds of figures on job growth per industry. Page 13 reveals that employers are ‘bullish’ on growing jobs. Warriors, we’ve seen their ‘bull’ long enough and how it’s ruining our children. On the pages which follow, you’ll see lots of CCSS Machine organizations and phrases used to create the false narrative that a) there’s a skills gap and b) the only way to fix it is via aligned education/training. f) Near Page 25, you’ll see the Governor of NC mentioned. His plan combines education directly with skills. Warriors, did you know that when WIOA was passed in 2014, the increase in power given to the office of governor greatly increased? Thereby weakening taxpayers voices yet again. Many of the programs Gov. Cooper is using were already laid out before him. That he’s extending and adding to them, let’s us know regardless of politics, the global workforce/kill personal choice is alive and well.

Lastly, every bit of what’s contained in the NC Plan and others will unite data to kill personal choice in what you learn, where you work, and lots more.

Look below and see how ‘far’ we’ve come. See much ‘personal choice’? I don’t.

Confused Yet?

***Fourth in a Series Highlighting the 116th Congressional session of federal overreaches in the name of education.

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, over the years we’ve had quite a bit thrown at us in order to confuse us. No where does this seem to reoccur more than Congress. Especially at the CCSS Machine’s direction.

During the past 3 articles, I’ve shown you the massive federal educratic overreaches into our homes, forcing a false ‘choice’ agenda, and, uniting with the (United Nations) UN’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) to basically do the same thing: data track us from cradle to grave. It’s not about academic education, it’s all about jobs and workforce training…just as the UN and the CCSS Machine have been plotting/carrying out.

Thank goodness, that part’s not confusing! So, what is confusing, you may be asking?

Two federal bills with different numbers from the SAME Chamber of Congress!
In the past, on my blog and writing for the
Patriot Institute, I shared with you the long used practice of Congress having ‘sister’ bills, but those would come from BOTH Chambers, not one. (*Note: Congress uses this system, from what I’ve seen in education research to accomplish one goal: get the agenda through from one side or the other.)

Every Congress member should know our position when it comes to fed led education!So, let’s see what these two bills are from the same Chamber.

HR 150 and HR 50:

HR 150, “Grant Reporting Efficiency and Agreements Transparency Act of 2019” aka GREAT Act (12 pages long)
HR 50, GREAT Act aka “Grant Reporting Efficiency and Agreements Transparency Act of 2019” (12 pages long)
Both are sponsored by Rep. Virginia Foxx of NC.
HR 150 has 15 co-sponsors, has had 1 roll call vote and is in the Senate already (Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs).
HR 50 has no co-sponsors, is in the House Committee of Oversight and Reform.

Of the 15 co-sponsors for HR 150, 7 are from the introduction (1/3/19), the others have cosponsored since then. Original House Representatives: Gomez (CA), Quigley and Kelly (IL), DesJarlais (TN), Palmer (AL), and Kilmer (WA). The other 8  Representatives are: Rouda and Harder (CA), Meadows (NC), Norman (SC), Axne (IA), Kline (VA), Stauber and Emmer (MN).

Before we look at the text of HR 150/HR 50, let me remind you of Rep. Foxx’s stance on ‘quality’ education:

What HR 150/50 Say and Do:

Warriors, here’s a list of what we can expect:

1) Either will modernize the federal government’s grant reporting system and ‘other purposes’. What this means is if you received a federal grant or are in a cooperative agreement with the federal government, you’re about to be more data tracked than ever before. How this can related to education is via all the grants, sub-grants, and cooperative agreements mandated in ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act.


2) An imposition of data standards will be visited upon each recipient and participant of grants, sub-grants, and, cooperative agreements.
3) In charge of the imposition of data standards AND implementing data streams will be the Director of the Office and Budget Management. Why THAT director? To be in compliance with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (31
7 U.S.C. 6101 note).
The purpose? From Page 2 “which includes the development of a ‘‘comprehensive taxonomy of standard definitions for core data elements required for managing Federal financial assistance awards’’ .
How this will play out for you and I is whatever data is taken it will be quicker, less burdensome for P3s (public private partnerships), and better manage us, at least as far as our data.

4) These bills will strengthen the federal government in oversight and management of all the grant recipients and cooperative partners.

5) Both bills will amend Subtitle V (5) of Title 31 of the United States Code by creating a brand new chapter titled “Data Standards for Grant Reporting”. Title 31 deals with money and finance, subtitle V deals with general assistance administration.
Look below at where Chapter 64 would land between:

Within this new chapter you’ll find that ‘core data elements’ mean they aren’t specific to what program, but are still required by the federal government for all or most of all the grants, awards, cooperative agreements, and sub-grants.

You’ll also learn that what the federal government defines as grants, sub-grants, awards, and cooperative agreements isn’t always in money form. As such, it’s up for grabs to be data tracked. While the federal government is setting these data standards, the States must comply. At the bare minimum, unique identifiers for federal awards and their groups will be tracked government wide.

How it is determined which federal agency set these data standards? The Executive agency which has the MOST activity!! What is this? Grade school games?!


Who gets tracked? Basically everybody.

Supposedly whatever data is collected is to be ‘fully searchable and machine readable’ as well as ‘non-proprietary’ overseen by ‘voluntary consensus standards bodies’.

All the while this is going on the U.S. Treasury will act as consultant. Other consultants could include any head of a federal agency (giving the awards), those receiving awards, the private sector experts (including privacy ones), and State/local governments.

6) Guiding all this data collection? The federal government. The federal government will explore new opportunities to involve modern technology in the data collection/sharing. All this is to take place with 2 years of the bills becoming law. Within 3 years, all future data collection/standards/sharing must be in full compliance.

7) On page 9, you’ll find one of those ‘other purposes’ coming to life. It’s called the Single Audit Act. This is where the ‘federal clearinghouse’ for data is dependent on the new Chapter 64 that HR150 and HR 50 put into place.

8) By 4 years after HR 150 and HR 50 become law, data is to be made public. It’s here that you’ll see that the Director of the Office Management and Budget determines ‘reasonable restrictions’ to personal and private data.

Is this determination at the federal government’s definition or of ‘We the People’?

Ah..the answer is whatever’s shareable by the Freedom of Information Act, is what can be shared in the future…

9) On the bottom of Page 10, you’ll find the Director and the Secretary of whichever federal agency gives the most grants, etc. set what data is ‘non proprietary’ or what isn’t. By  the last page of these bills you’ll find a classic federal government CYA statement about no new data which isn’t already fair game for the government will be used.

Warriors, if you’re wondering about the difference of ‘non proprietary’ data as far as the federal government, it means data they produced or generated. However, take into consideration that 9/10 of the data the government collects comes from proprietary (meaning your personal property) data/information.

Again, CONTEXT, Warriors. Think what Chapter 64 means for education. Think about the algorithms needs in those high-stake assessments or behavior interventions. Think about the biometrics involved.

Lastly, note that HR 150 has been slammed through the House and is in the Senate. This Bill needs to be killed. HR 50, needs to die in its Committee. Call, email, text, or use social media. These Bills, HR 150 and HR 50, are data raping pimps to be used by the federal government. Look at the future plans being made here!!!!

Consequences:

Below is a screen shot of consequences we now face, due to the signing into law HR 4174 (FEPA) has in store for We the People:

HOW will FEPA immediately or chillingly effect us as Americans?
1) This might shock you, but all our civil rights (how we are treated) are assigned by our government. All our civil liberties (our freedoms) are also assigned by the government.

In the Declaration of Independence we were guaranteed the right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness as WE chose. FEPA removes OUR guarantee to live our lives as WE choose. It certainly removes all liberty, as well as freedom. It certainly will impact how we are treated. (Source)

1a) How does FEPA cause this? Life-long tracking of your life, your attitudes, values, beliefs, how much income your family makes, where you live, do you own a gun, do you beat your family, do you drink or smoke? Do you go to church?
Think of it this way Warriors, whatever data snooping the Patriot Act created on every American (thus helping gut FERPA, Family Education Rights to Privacy Act, as well as the SLDS and WQDI (Student Longitudinal Data System/Workforce Quality Initiative, respectively); FEPA makes it look like sissy stuff.

Why? The goal in the shift to erode America as the ‘land of the free/home of the brave’, has long been in place. It’s not been about our choice in life, especially for our students of all ages, for quite some time. The reason FEPA is SO evil, is in the systematic destruction of America, education is the choice weapon and data mining (aka: student data rape) has been the key trigger.
FEPA, along with 2 others (HR 2434 College Transparency Act; HR 3157 Student Privacy Protection Act)were introduced during the 115th Congress. Each of these could work together or stand alone all have life-long data tracking (aka: open data) built in. The Big Biz, Big Tech, and Big Government have long been after our information of ALL kinds, FEPA now allows that…nationally, via a single, unified system.
**The Bigs (as I call them) all feel we have NO right to our privacy and that it all belongs to them. Is is because they care about us? No, it’s for control and money.

2) The Bill of Rights in our Constitution (1-10) find the most negative impact from FEPA.
The First Amendment is centered on freedom of speech. However, only the speech is protected. Expression isn’t. So, with FEPA’s constant tracking our every move, our every word, HOW we express ourselves will be closely monitored. That removes OUR choice of expression.

2a) The Second Amendment has been the most targeted, in my opinion, in recent history.
I’ve shared with you in the past how the CCSS (Common Core State Standards, rebranded as CCR, College/Career Readiness) have used anti-gun control as a key point in curriculum used. Add to that the ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act’s mandate for ‘safe schools’ where not only anti-2nd Amendment rhetoric is attached, but every student must be mentally evaluated. FEPA will tie to the gutted FERPA and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in these mental evaluations, thus taking personal private data from your students with or without consent. (*Remember, since FEPA creates a data track for every one, student or not, you too, will be mentally evaluated and labeled accordingly.)

3) Our 4th Amendment states no unreasonable arrest or search can happen. FEPA guts this off the bat. How? By having our lives and homes constantly monitored, the government is already inside, so no searching will be needed. As far as arrest, with our other rights muted or removed, we could be found guilty of any number of activities. These by, default, plays right into the 5th and 6th Amendments concerning self-incrimination and our rights if we are accused. FEPA will assault these, too.

4) Amendments 9 and 10 stand to cause the most havoc in State level government. Nine assures us any right NOT listed in the Constitution is safe. Ten, of course assigns State’s rights concerning their citizens. State’s rights have already been eroded by federal laws, programs, funding, etc. FEPA will remove any State power and assign it to the federal level. How? That single, unified system of control.

5) Amendments 14 and 16 lay out citizenship rights and federal income tax. Since FEPA will use personal data (expanding it to non-census data, too) from the Public Private Partnerships (P3s) such as the FBI and Amazon. The IRS has now been included in that expansion. So have the HHS, ED, and others.

The more tags, the more compartmentalized you are until you are pigeon-holed into a certain sector where the appropriate entitlements and government programs will best suit you. Somewhat tied to the taxation is the 24th and 26th Amendments.

Those Pesky, “Unintended” Consequences of FEPA:

1) Whom you associate with will be watched and monitored.
2) Your privacy is of no concern, even in your home and especially via all the “Smart Devices” you use. Big Tech is rejoicing FEPA is law, the data is all theirs, anyway (or so they believe)
3) If you find yourself in need of a jury, who determines those who make up the jury?
4) The freedom to travel where you wish, as you wish may become restricted, due to association, taxes, tolls, or for any arbitrary reason the government designs.
5) The freedom to religious worship, is at stake, too.

6) “Evidence Based” is code for collection of data.
7) FEPA bastardizes the weakened Net Neutrality, so everything on-line is open for collection. It also feeds off of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and will use AI to align and confine us.
8) FEPA will use the 5G technology against Americans, not in favor of them. Don’t believe the hype that 5G will be a faster internet connection. A Trojan awaits in ANYTHING 5G. (BitCoins, Social Impact Investing, Community Partnerships, included those between cities and churches are a few of what is tied to 5G and a weakened State.)
9) FEPA (a supposedly education minded bill) sat in the Senate’s Homeland Security Committee longer than anywhere else in Congress. Why? FEPA alters the infrastructure of America!
10) Since FEPA attacks both the Declaration of Independence (based on natural rights and justice) and the Constitution (rules enforced by the government), every citizen should be up in arms and alarmed at what freedoms and rights are at stake!

Citizen Recourse:

Warriors, I’m sure by now, you are wondering what in the world we CAN do to fight back. I believe I have found something we can use to seriously land a blow to Congress and FEPA.

Consider the HR 4174’s track record, it’s full of broken procedures and rules used to ram it through BOTH Chambers. Congress claims there was no negative feedback (which would have given us a hearing). There was enough negative feedback to call for two hearings, but we were ignored. No debate, once HR 4174 came up for a vote on the Senate floor mere days before Christmas 2018. The vote? A voice one, again, no way for the citizens to hold Congress accountable.

Recourse #1: Since we have no record of how our Senators voted on HR 4174, we CAN find out how they voted on the Motion to Suspend Rules and Concur in the Senate! More than likely, if they voted to suspend, they voted for passage.

Recourse #3: Warriors, have you ever heard of the Unconstitutional Official Acts? I stumbled upon this while looking for quotes on liberty and its cost. Known simply as “-16 Am Jur. Sec. 177 late 2d, Sec 256” this Statute lays out how our U.S. Constitution beats out EVERYTHING.

It states that ANY act of any government official which violates our U.S. Constitution should be removed from office. No exceptions, no excuses.

“Draining” DC hasn’t gotten us nowhere, especially in education.

Ed’s Money Pit Effect

Dear Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’ve heard SO many times that we, as a nation, aren’t investing enough in education. It’s used as a wedge to get most citizens activated and involved. Those of us fighting the global-to-federal-to-state-to-local-to-you overreach, know the investment hype is just that..hype.

If investing in education were the fix, we would have solved the ‘dumbing down’ of America long ago.

Throwing money at education hasn’t worked in years. We might as well jump in from the fire to the frying pan. We’d certainly see faster results!

Since, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), though, ‘investing’ isn’t simply about money anymore. It’s P3s (public private partnerships), it’s ‘in-kind’ donations and contributions (meaning, if you can’t give cash, give ‘stuff’) from anyone or any group approved by your SEAs or LEAs (State Education Agencies or Local Education Agencies).
The shifts in ESSA’s funding, also are worth noting here. For example, the shift from per-pupil to whole school funds.
That, my fellow Warriors, was to increase the amount of money States received. (*Note: It’s also the way to include all students in labeling them ‘at risk’ or ‘in need of intervention’.)

Before long, it wouldn’t surprise me to see either what I call the “PBS Beg-a-thons” (aka: pledge drives) or out and out auctions right outside the school buildings! Why? Because money solves everything!

Now, Warriors, don’t get me wrong, I know running a school costs money. However, when did Congress, the United Nations and all its partners, and our State leaders decide it was either money or technology devices which would be the saving graces to American education?!

HELLO!!! NEITHER money OR technology devices will save America’s education demise! So, why is there more push than ever to ramp up the money as we ramp down the quality?

I can almost hear some citizen read this and ask me, “Why talk about this now? We’re almost in the most festive time of the year, as Americans.. I don’t wanna talk about it, I’ll deal with it next year….” My response? “We need to talk now. Congress passed the FY 2019 Appropriations Bills which mean MORE money and ‘stuff’ will be thrown at education and hope it works. Then, we’ve just had elections, which means the new leaders will be taking office at the first of the year. We MUST be pro-active, not reactive!”

Warriors, believe me, the CCSS Machine is already talking about next year (and the years after) as far as money and ‘stuff’ to throw at education. Frankly, we need to catch up in the conversation. Quite simply, we need to change the narrative, not accept it!!

Where The Global Shift In Money Is Coming From:

Warriors, we already know the biggest source is the United Nations, the World Bank, IMF, Goldman Sachs, The Gates Foundation, the Middle East, the U.S. federal government,  and several other well documented groups which all belong to the CCSS Machine.  However, there are others driving the ‘money and stuff’ push on American taxpayers. We also know the global education push from groups like P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Skills) have also been well documented. Let’s look, at some lesser known groups, though.

Did you notice the attitude is that not only can global/federal government GET the taxpayer funds to pull this off…they can manage co-ordination of its use, too! Are you kidding me?? How well has managing the States turned out?! For the globalists and federal leadership: SUPER! For the States and American citizens? MICROMANAGED to the smallest degree.

d) Of course, the Campaign receives donations..what ‘card carrying’ CCSS Machine member group wouldn’t.

Other Global Overreaches in America:

Each of these will need our money or ‘stuff’ at some point. If it’s not our money or ‘in-kind’ contribution, it’ll be big business, big pharma, big _________ (fill in the blank). Thanks to ESSA, the community mom and pop businesses, the State services will be roped in as well.

2) World Top 20 Project (website) For every person, world-wide ages 3 to 25. According to their Global Education Report 2017, those polled on the best education systems ranked more government funding as the second most important item. What group is behind World Top 20 Project? FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) FIFA’s social responsibility is carried out in education for every child on the planet. Warriors, not only will FIFA invest billions in education, but advocates that governments up the ante!

3) Center for Global Development
stated in 2016 that not only do we need globalized standard driven tests because they’re more fair to those being tested as well as international testing is cheaper. Warriors, do you see the problems with this for Americans? I do.

4) Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), here’s their excerpt: “AIEA brings together international education leaders into dialogue with each other, their counterparts around the world, organizations that promote international education, and organizations concerned with the shaping and management of international higher education. AIEA gives members opportunities to join forces, share institutional strategies, and provide an effective voice on matters of public policy.”

It increases a person’s chances of having a healthy life, reduces maternal deaths, and combats diseases such as HIV and AIDS. 8)  State and District Network on International Education in the Schools (this Network is the results of a partnership between the Longview Foundation and the Asia Society). Their stance is that global education is required for graduation. See the rubric here (in a DOC file)

9) The United States Government (USAID) Education Strategy? Expansion of government and more money to invest in what is taught. As found on page 8 of the 98 page Strategy Plan, “Financial resources are critical to effective education systems”. That cost or ‘investment’? In the trillions, Warriors! The sources of all those trillions of dollars? Taxpayers, private corporations, and philanthropists. (Gee, I wonder which of the CCSS Machine billionaires is going ‘first’?)

From The States:

Then, there are global overreaches in every State in America!
For example, look at CT’s global education guidelines for all K-12th programs.
We saw WV, above. However, all 50 States will have some globalism in place and it will only keep expanding. How? Look at where I live, North Carolina.

The State Board of Education decides to embed globalism in education and the Department of Public Instruction carries it out. How?
Not only working with different countries, but tying education to the State level Dept. of Commerce (which will also tie education to the State level Dept. of Labor). NC’s documents also show that as of 2015-16, the use of non government partners to influence school boards was to be put into action.

In fact, one of the documents I found shows how 16 NC Counties and 2 VA Counties were used as pilot districts to help create the Global School Network! (*Note: in the document, you’ll notice the Global School Network was coordinated around 2012 by a group known as VIF, Visiting International Facility. VIF, used to train teachers (known as VIF Global Gateway Program), but shifted to focus on K-12 global education. As of 2017, VIF was re-named Participate. Today, Participate is ‘igniting change and creating impact on a global scale’. How is Participate accomplishing this? Leading edge technology in school districts!

Closing:

Warriors, the investments in education, be they money or in-kind, aren’t worth it. Not the way things are going. Taxation without representation might be theft, but overzealous philanthropists and private corporations CAN be put in their proper places..out of the classrooms! Question is, will we be that bold? Then, there’s the government..we are ITS master, not the other way around. It’s time to put DC on notice for 2019. We must, it’s our citizen’s duty as well as our patriotic responsibility.

Reduced To Absurdity Via Delphi Moves

Oh, my Anti Fed Ed Warriors, we’ve survived yet another election. My hat is tipped to those men and women who ARE against federally led education who ran for office. From what I know, most of them were beaten out by the Establishment. For shame, we need Warriors in power! However, the focus of my article is about the real loser in the 2018 elections: American education.

Education has been reduced to absurdity by the educrats in DC, State and local levels and well as the CCSS Machine. The November 6th, 2018 elections did ZERO to correct this absurdity, either.
In fact, I’ll wager my research, that if anything, the election results will INCREASE the amount of absurdity in education! This might be funny if it weren’t such a nightmare reality for our students, teachers, parents, and taxpayers. So how has this absurdity been pulled off? Delphi Techniques with a dash of Hegelian Dialect thrown in.

Delphi Technique And Hegelian Dialect Moves:

Warriors, Delphi Technique has been used on us many, many times by the CCSS Machine. You know, you go to a school related meeting, you’re placed in groups, given questions and asked to come up with solutions. Then, the results are shared with those asking for your input, yet very few of your solutions appear. What does? The preconceived solutions by the ‘system’.
This type of move gives you a false sense of involvement while the CCSS Machine retains control.

So, what’s the Hegelian Dialect? That’s another type of control method, only it’s done by controlling thoughts. From the Bitter Realities blog it’s described as a “framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution.”
The effect is, that, once inside that ‘predetermined solution’, you can’t see reality.

.For example, the title of the federal law known as ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) is a Hegelian Dialect move.
How? By using carefully placed wording it impressed on the nation a predetermined solution that all students would succeed. The Hegelian Dialect manipulates, as does ESSA. The Hegelian Dialect is a Communist tactic to drive economics.
Guess what? ESSA’s mandates for college/career readiness and workforce aligned education are also a Communist tactic to create worker drones, not educated citizens.

Put the 2 methods (Delphi and Hegelian) together and you’ve got quite a slick sales pitch. Look below at the example when the two are combined.

From the ones I’ve read it’s more of the ESSA mandates in Hegelian terms.
For example, ‘more vocational classes’. Since ESSA embedded WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) there’s already nothing BUT vocational education. They are called Career Tech Education (CTE), Career Clusters, Career Pathways, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Back in 2006, ‘vocational tech’ was re-branded to CTE..on purpose. That purpose? Common Core aligned workforce education. When ESSA was passed into law, Common Core was re-branded to ‘challenging State Academic Standards’/’college and career readiness’/post-secondary readiness’.

Bring On the Reductio Ad Absurdum!

Warriors, if you’ve not heard of ‘reductio ad absurdum’ it’s Latin for “Reduced to Absurdity”. Another psychological tactic to mess with our heads and our hearts. The CCSS Machine uses this one, too. So do educrats. How does reducing things to absurdity work? Look below:

What reduction to absurdity about education that’s been uttered by several victors in the 2018 elections have we all heard? “Expansion of school choice”. Warriors, ‘school choice’ as we know it has gone.

That’s due to ESSA’s mandate that ALL education be aligned to post-secondary readiness as laid out by the industry credentialed standards in WIOA.

When all education is the same, how can we realistically expand it? You can’t. The CCSS Machine (and DC) knows this.

You cannot improve on 100%.  The true absurdity is that these people in power will actually REDUCE choices in education. Why or how? Their States are being strung along by the top-down federal control to bow to the United Nations and the global shift in education. That shift? Workforce preparation, not academics.

Closing:

This has ZERO to do with political parties and EVERYTHING to do with being controlled. So, since we all have to live together and work together, help fellow citizens out. Help those newly elected officials out. SHOW them how we’re all being manipulated to meet the CCSS Machine’s agenda in education.

In The Meantime..

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, as we start a new month and await the results of the 2018 mid-term elections, I’ve got a few things to share.

 I’m not sure about you, but I’m puzzled that no matter what I’ve been sharing, as far as anti global or fed-led education news, I’m being told it’s not that important, that it all needs to wait until AFTER the 6th of November. THEN, we can get back to fighting the overreaches in education. I’ve also been told that anti fed education overreach evidence I’ve found isn’t a big enough deal to actually come to fruition.

Really?! What if those folks we need to get information to could actually shift the votes if they have the facts NOW and not later? What about those candidates who might truly NOT know all the facts; the opportunity to inform them will either be non-existent, or, not long enough to make a difference. What about the danger in our assumption that Congress would actually STOP creating federally led education overreach?

My point is simply this: EVERYDAY is the BEST day to fight to save our students! We shouldn’t be the type of citizens who load all our eggs in one basket (mid-term elections) while the varmints nip at our baskets.  We do not have the luxury of time on our sides. Quite the opposite, we should be using every moment to continue to inform others! We’ve seen the CCSS Machine use this against us. We cannot be lulled into a false sense of security. We must be diligent, we must be prepared!!

Looking Forward:

Let’s face it, Warriors, the federal Congress will not have much time to conduct our business after the November 6th elections. I’m pretty sure your State legislators will be on a less-busy track, too. From what I found both the House and Senate will be in session from 11/13-16 and 11/27-30th. In December, both meet 12/4-7th and 10th-13th. Then, both are back beginning Jan. 3rd, 2019 with the 116th Session. (The US Senate plans to meet on 11/26 and 12/3-4, 14th) So, in that respect I can understand why some would want to slack off a bit in our War Vs the Core. However, WE cannot be those types of people who’d rather react than be ready.

We’ve not got the time to loose! While those seeking office are distracted, what are some of the things we should be looking forward to (as well as preparing for) in 2019?

Showing Us The Money:

First, if you missed it, all those federally led overreaches in the FY 2019 Appropriations Bills which were passed into law, will kick in. Don’t be surprised if you see more STEM federal legislation, either. (STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Why STEM? STEM is a tool of the United Nations and their Agenda 2030. As we get closer to 2030, expect way more STEM in America from federal and State levels.

Part of the federal educratic overreach will be coming at us from the U.S. Dept. of HHS (Health and Human Services). In fact the US HHS has 2019 Goals of their own. The main one? Expansion of government run health care. It very much intersects via ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Just one of the ways is the workforce pipeline.

Then, there’s the Kaiser Family Foundation (as in Kaiser Permanente tied to the Centers for Disease Control and their united efforts with Rockefeller for resilience education) Report which gives their outlook on FY 2019 as far as health care costs (associated with Medicaid) increasing. Part of the reason why? Those expanded and increasing behavioral health care and mental health programs. (Gee, the fact they’re popping up in schools wouldn’t increase the costs as well, would it?) 

Then, There’s The Labor:

In 2019, Congress will get to vote on the new NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement). It’s been re-branded, too. The new name is USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement). NAFTA/USMCA has a Labor Advisory Committee (LAC). In the LAC Report from 2018 the Committee is basically trying to scare Congress into submission, from the way the language reads.

For example, the LAC tells Congress that USMCA COULD negatively impact the US workforce. How? existing NAFTA conditions have already reduced income for non-college workers in trade industries. Those who have graduated college and work in the trade industries are also facing a smaller pay check.

Their research says 2/3 of Americans are non-college graduates. The solution? Everything the LAC suggests. The main suggestions? Prepare the workforce for jobs of the future. There’s also rebuild the economy and modernize infrastructure (code for job training supersedes academics; and data tracking systems)!

Warriors, this has been the  CCSS Machine plan all along. It completely gels with the UN (United Nations) and their SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

LAC also reported that the new NAFTA (USMCA) could negatively impact all US public services and our property taxes. Warriors, basically, the USMCA would give more economic teeth to current policies which involve labor.

Since part of the globalization of America involves education, healthcare, and labor, you may find the cost of going global is steeper than we realize.

Sure, the UN’s saying via their SDGs that the world will have quality education (ie: one way to learn so you can earn); that all poverty will be gone (ie: we’ll all be the same pay level); and that health care will be superior (ie: we will be micromanaged and controlled), has anyone really looked at what Americans will have to sacrifice to go from total freedom to total control? Has anyone calculated the loss of life to make all this happen? Has there been anyone to say, ‘Hey wait, paychecks matter. I want to feed my family and be independent!’

I did find 2 such articles which counter the spin of the MSNBC article as well as the LAC Report. I think you may find them worthwhile in reading.

Then, read the recent BBC article where surgeons are loosing dexterity to operate. How? The educratic shift!! We’ve often said in our War Vs the Core that we knew this type of situation would occur. It has begun….

While it is considered to be a great thing (blessed with a super personality and have great fortune), to me it’s ironic. Why? We have had so much lipstick on a pig CCSS Machine moves to date, it’s amazing we’re not all knee deep in pig poop. To see 2019 contain more of the same? UGH!

Why We Should Watch The Economy:

Warriors, like it or not, the CCSS Machine has lock, stock, and barrel tied education to the economy.  So has Congress. So has the United Nations.

Education tied to the economy makes us easier to data mine and track. Education has become a weapon used against us. Our students from all ages and educational choices are being sacrificed. The cost isn’t simply dollars and cents.

Here are some documents for the global 2019 impacts we face as Americans:
1) The UN World Economic Status (NAFTA is embedded in this), education is embedded 10 times, workforce is woven in 6 different ways. “2019” appears 144 times, and, technology is present 20 times.

2) Much of the educratic CCSS Machine shift in education can be traced to private finances. CCSS Machine member Goldman Sachs (GS)  provides this document for their clients. ‘2019’ is mentioned 8 times (mostly to say they feel a recession could happen, but not likely), there is no mention of education, however. ‘Labor’ is embedded in this report 7 times. The biggest tie to GS and the educratic shift bowing to the economy is the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. I covered how that impacts education head on in this article.

3) From the World Bank:

From this June 2018 World Bank Document on Global Economic Prospects, education is embedded 17 different times. All of them tie directly to jobs and economic growth as well as ‘skill attainment’.

4) From the U.S. based “Conference Board, Inc.” a slightly gloomier aspect for jobs in 2019. However, the reason I’m including it here, is the paragraph you see below:
“The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, the successor to the North American Free Trade Agreement, largely keeps provisions governing commerce between the three countries the same. This should come as a relief to businesses in most industries. One notable exception is the auto industry which must not only contend with continued steel tariffs, but also stepped up requirements on worker compensation and the use of components from outside the three countries. With auto sales and employment trends already flat to declining, industry executives must respond to a riskier environment. Upward wage pressure will be further exacerbated by a shortage of blue-collar workers who are seeing their wages rise faster than their white-collar counterparts.” (Source)

In 2019, don’t be surprised if you see an increased amount of attention placed on indigenous languages. The United Nations has declared 2019 as “The Year of Indigenous Languages”. This reaffirms the UN 2016 Indigenous Resolution’s efforts to make sure no one is left out of the shift to adhering to Agenda 2030. (Where you’ll find the SDGs.) That said, you’ll see an increase in Agenda 2030 hype, programming, and everything which connects the UN to us. Oh, and STEM (as a main tool to shift education from academics to workforce based)? Plenty of national, regional, and international events in 2019. All for the ‘next generation of learners’.

Warriors, there will be more to watch for in 2019, but all the things I’ve featured above directly play into the elections of 2018, but it seems no one wants to consider how much these things do.

No matter how red or blue you vote, know that BOTH parties are directly responsible for the educratic nightmare we’re faced with daily. Neither will ‘fix’ it or ‘ditch’ what’s been years in the making. They love the attention, control, and profit too much.

We need Independent representatives. Constitutional representatives. Folks like you and I, who care, who fight, who don’t sell out to the CCSS Machine.

Not-so-Funny Money

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, just a few days ago, I revealed to you how the World Bank is using Social Impact Bonds (SIBs), ‘sin’ taxes, along with other financial tools to help force America into the SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals) of the UN (United Nations).

One such financial tool is called ‘gender bonds (GBs)’. When I asked two of my fellow Anti Fed Ed Warriors who happen to be considered experts in both data mining and SIBs, neither had heard of the GBs

Knowing SIBs, BitCoin, and ‘sin’ taxes are connected to the demise in education, these GBs must be as well. So, let’s find out just what GBs will do in education. We’ll also learn if there are any NEW financial tools to be used against us.

SIBs and BitCoins:

SIBs, Social Impact Bonds, are a form of the ‘pay for success’ scheme used in business, but which as been applied to education via ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). How? Defined student outcomes. In other words the student HAS to be controlled and manipulated to fit a certain ‘outcome’. In ESSA’s case: ‘college and career ready’.
Warriors, did you know ‘outcome’ is a government controlled goal, NOT a personal free will choice?

As I’ve stated before, Alison McDowell’s Wrench in the Gears blog is an excellent resource to understand HOW SIBs are harming education. Alison also can explain the Bitcoin connections to education. (*Note: it has to do with the trail created by data mining (aka ‘student data rape’). 

As Alison points out, the Bitcoins and SIBs, will be used against every American. We’re seeing this type of control used in China. Knowing the UN’s SDGs are involved, we know more than education will be BitCoins and SIBs’s conduit for HOW control is set up. 

I’ve also shared before that the Missouri Education Watchdog’s blog has some excellent information on data mining. This September 2018 article explains the global lust for our student’s personal information. Since Google and global data rapers are at the helm, we know this will meet up with the World Bank and the United Nations, somehow!

Paying For Our ‘Sins’?

As far as ‘sin taxes’ go, the UN’s SDGs want to see excessive use of alcohol and other substances curtailed as much as possible. (Don’t forget the WHO, World Health Organization here!)

So, the World Bank’s plan is to tax the people for using them. What’s more is the ‘sin taxes’ will help fund universal health care and mental health ‘scale-up’ programs. (‘scale up’ is fancy for expansion of government in mental health.)

Now, it is important to note that excessive use of ANY substance should be addressed, but an overall tax across the board isn’t so much about helping fight substance abuse as it is about controlling your free will. Much like the mental health grab by the UN is a back door to taking Second Amendment rights away, this type of taxation will infringe heavily on your Constitutionally and civil rights protected freedoms.
(*Note: Page 40 of the World Bank’s “Needle” shows a sin tax on beverages made with sugar (but not for high fructose corn syrup or other modified sweeteners)!

Questions:
What will this type of heavy handedness do for those who are not excessive or abusive?  What happens when this type of tax is attached to sodas and juices?
Why is it ‘universal health care’? Is this a sign that America will have this socialist system?

Using Gender For Their Agenda:

Warriors, it isn’t new news that the UN’s SDGs use gender against us. In the SDG Toolkit (created in the US back in the early 2000s), you’ll find page after page of how women and the poor are targeted.

While the BS tries to make the reasons WHY these people are targeted sound noble, the real agenda is caddish. The first reason is that the more women or poor people who work, the fewer there will be to raise children. The second reason is that all citizens must work to feed the global economy.

What is the main educational tool being used to target women and the poor? STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) and STEAM (all of STEM, plus the Arts).
(*Note: this one article will give you the SDG Tool Kit link, as well as show you the Americans pushing the global STEM moreso than most other citizens.)

So, knowing all this, let’s find out what a GB (Gender Bond) is and how it will impact education.

Warriors, according to the World Bank’s Needle document, Gender Bonds are a type of private sector finance tool, like the SIBs and others above. These type of tools, as we are seeing are being used to drive (or force) social change. Look below:

(You can find the Gender Bond definition and related investment information on Page 35 of the World Bank’s Needle document.) What follows is a timeline of GBs:

NAB, National Australian Bank; March 2017, becomes the first to issue gender bonds. The reason? Workforce equality. NAB also has a “Male Champion of Change” program. According to NAB’s 2017 “Towards 2020” document, education and P3s (public private partnerships) will help genders get ahead. NAB is also a UN Global Compact member, since 2010.

Asian Development Bank (ADB), in November 2017(to support their 1990s Policy on Gender), invested mega bucks into gender bonds for Asian and Pacific countries. ADB is tied to UNESCO. Women’s and girls education is mentioned 43 times in the ADB’s 2013 Gender Policy document.

December 2017, the Wall Street Journal wrote about the Gender Bonds as a way to be ‘socially responsible’ (as well as a way to help end sexual harassment). Back in 2014, the Journal partnered with MSN (Microsoft) News to poll America on Common Core. (*Note: as we know, Microsoft is a huge UN member/supporter. What you may not know is that the Wall Street Journal is owned by the Dow Jones and Company. Dow Jones is a partner of the World Bank. Especially in the SDGs.)

June 2018, Turkey’s Gender Bonds with the help of Goldman Sachs 10K Women program. (The education tie comes through global business courses at partnering institutions.) Warriors, I have at least 4 articles on how Goldman Sachs is part of the CCSS Machine (Common Core State Standards Machine).

Doing The DIB:

DIBs (Development Impact Bonds) are a new type of World Bank financial tool. These bonds will be much like the SIBs, but will mature between 3-10 years. DIBs also center around ‘result driven approaches’ when it comes to social issues. In educratic speak it’s known as ‘best evidenced practice’; aka: subjective research and methods). You’ll find almost no information on DIBs in the World Bank’s document because these bonds are still undergoing changes before being unleashed. Do watch for these, though. Education will certainly be in the mix.

The UN’s Women’s Movement:

First, off, before we get to WHAT the UN’s got in mind, I’m sure you’ve had a burning question or two about gender bonds.

As of this article, the only real focus by the UN has been for women and/or the poor. How ‘poor’ is a gender, I do not know.

However, you’ve seen and read the evidence.

Are there any gender bonds for men? What about those who aren’t sure of their gender or have decided to NOT have a gender? Where will these people be placed by the UN?
No matter if you agree with the ‘gender bending’ going on or not, people are people and we all need protecting from the UN’s control freakish system. The UN screams ‘tolerance’ but is breeding massive amounts of discrimination!

If you missed the new 2018 Gender Guidelines, you’ll ‘love’ learning about them. The Guidelines will use gender to tie to climate change. The World Bank’s “Needle” document will feature a little on Green Bonds. Near Page 40. Green bonds are geared for sustainable ‘green’ energy and climates.)

Lastly, from 2002, the World Bank tackled the question about gender and the SDGs (although back then the SDGs had another name).

To cut through the global doublespeak, the reason why gender is so key to the success of the SDGs is IF we can stop the unfairness between men and women, we’ll treat our environment better. IF we treat the environment better, we’re well on our way to a peaceful world.

It’s as if the UN is telling us, if you and your spouse can stop fighting, then your grass will grow better. If the grass is greener, then your peace will be at hand. Yeah, right..Sounds like the UN believes everyone just fell off the turnip truck. (That’s Southern for not very smart.)

Warriors, as I shared with you in the “Wicked Web”, the very leaders who have pledged to END America’s union with the UN are NOT living up to that pledge. In fact, the Administration has strengthened the UN/US union.

Anti Fed Ed Warriors, if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it hundreds of times that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) is a coined acronym in use to deceive us all.
Yes, I know, I’ve heard it before, “But, Lynne we’ve always had science and math. We’ve had engineering in the past and technology, too.”
HOWEVER, Warriors, the deception is that by creating an acronym with things we are familiar with, the agenda is easier to be implemented.

What do I mean? A few years ago, I wrote an article showing you how the NSF, National Science Foundation (a government funded agency of the USA), was tasked to come up with a marketing tool to ‘win’ the nation over with.

WHY? Evidence suggests their ties with the UN (United Nations). More to the point the UN’s damnable SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). STEM was (and is) the vehicle to change the course of education. At least according to the UN SDG Toolkit (created here in America). (*Note: you can access and read the Toolkit for yourselves. Look for the link under the Paragraph “From 2002”. The sentence beginning with “Tool Kit” is where you’ll find the document.)

THEN, once the acronym was selected, the President (Obama) had to be influenced. I also revealed HOW he was influenced (a PCAST Report).  (*Note: when you go back and read the embedded links, you’ll notice that the Presidential influence began well before President Obama, especially in regards to the NSF.)

So, what WAS the agenda and does it still survive under our current President?

Agenda: STEM ushered in about the same time as Common Core, so no one would notice. Use STEM to create a STEM people with a STEM education for STEM jobs and a STEM economy. In other words more mastery based education, or as it’s been sold to us, competency based education (CBE). Why CBE? Skilled workers. Skilled in STEM, that is.

Is the Agenda surviving? Absolutely! In fact, President Trump is a huge supporter of STEM because it means jobs. As we know, jobs means economy.

However, Warriors, the STEM economy is NOT for America, it’s for the global good and their economy.

U.S. Sec. DeVos has done an outstanding’ job of promoting STEM, too. Since STEM is global and she has seen it as her duty to sell our nation out to global mastery based education, you can be assured STEM will be popping up in current proposed DC legislation.

STEM In Legislation for 2018 And Beyond:

Warriors, right now, we are nearing the end of Fiscal 2018. On October 1, 2018, our government begins FY 2019.Currently,  STEM is woven into several of the FY 2019 Budget Bills. I shared with you, back in August, several of the ways in which, not only STEM would live on, but the top-down educratic control.

The biggest ways STEM will survive, as well as the educratic control are apprenticeships, CTE (Career Tech Education), College/Career Readiness, and P3s (public private partnerships).

STEM’s P3 Legislation:

Warriors, if you’ve not seen what a STEM P3 would look like, consider NASA.

More recently, there’s been concocted a lesser known legislative bill.
It’s HR 5119, simply titled The P3 Act. This Act was introduced back in February 2018 and hasn’t seen much action (if any) since then. However, what the Bill contains cannot be acted upon until there’s the money to bring its agenda to fruition!

So what does the P3 Act stand for, Warriors? After all, every DC Bill has some sort of acronym to it. “P3” in this instance stands for  ‘‘Partnerships for Progress and Prosperity Act’’. It’s a fancy way to ‘dress up’ the regular P3 meaning (public private partnership). The Bill has one sponsor and 5 co-sponsors and is currently in the U.S. House of Representative’s Education and Workforce Committee. Rep. Bill Foster from IL is the sponsor. If you look at Foster’s campaign donations the U.S. Dept. of Energy contributed the most money. If you look at the committees Foster serves the nation in, Energy in among them.
(*Note: in 2017, in Foster’s district, Joliet Junior College received a NSF Grant for STEM.)

Here’s how the P3s will play into STEM and ‘education’:
1) Requires the U.S. Dept. of Ed to award grants to LEAs (Local Education Agencies) for STEM, exclusively.
2) The grants MUST be used in the following ways:
a) to improve education in K-12 and higher education institutions
b) every awardee is required to  partner with a STEM business or employer
c) internships and apprenticeships are mandated to be included
d) development of STEM curricula and metrics
e) dual credit courses are mandated
f) tutoring/mentoring in STEM, especially for underrepresented student groups
g) STEM activities and events outside the schools and in the communities are mandated for teachers and students
h) after-school STEM and summer STEM programs
i) purchase of STEM resources for STEM instruction

The U.S. Dept of Education (in these STEM grants) will pay special attention to any LEA who promotes STEM for students/teachers; uses tech based content; pairs mentors/tutors with students struggling to meet STEM benchmarks; and/or targets low-cost or free lunch eligible students.

One last mandate from the P3 Act for STEM: all grant award ‘winners’ MUST match 50 % of their award. The fifty percent must be non-federal funds and can be in cash or ‘in kind’ (which means any type of support in exchange for work or other services like free food or free housing.
(*Note: cash received in this manner is non-taxable. In kind can be claimed as a tax write off by the giver, but not the receiver unless otherwise advised.)

Warriors, when you read this 8 page Bill (HR 5119), you’ll see the familiar educratic buzzwords/phrases like ‘rigorous’, ‘evidence based’, ‘engagement’ (especially in the classroom), and my personal ‘favorite’: “high quality research”. Now the irony of this entire Bill is that is based of RECOMMENDATIONS, not objective facts.

The Bill also cites the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), which is geared for not only CCR (College/Career Readiness) aka: Common Core, but the OECD’s (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) workforce based global system of CBE (Competency Based Education).

OECD is where the horrible label of ‘human capital’ comes from.
